I studied ballet in college,

And by my fourth year
of college,

I was dancing en pointe
in a local ballet company.

And I try to structure this
just like a real ballet class.

to listen and participate

around and whatever.

My goal is to teach them

The best that I can
about everything in life.

I know that some of
the older children complain

About their education,
or lack of.

I just hope that at some point
they'll be able to see

That we have tried really hard

To give them a well-rounded
education.

We've taught all of them piano,
how to read music.

Most of them have had
voice lessons.

And I'm really glad,
I'm really happy

That moriah is kind of
taking that and running with it.

And I mean,
I see her in many ways

Just having an amazing
music career ahead of her.

a lot of feelings

Like, having to fend for myself.

I don't know how both of us
can have what we want

And what we need.

I just want us to be happy.
I want us to be okay.

But I don't always know
how to make that happen.

I feel like

...and it's like talking
to a blank wall.

I feel like I am
craving boundaries

Where I know that we can be safe
and we can be happy.

And I feel like until we have
those boundaries,

We won't get there.

Like, all I know is everywhere
I look around cairo,

There's just triggers.

And I just want out.

When you live in a small town,

Everything you do is watched
and people talk

About it among themselves,
and it comes back to me.

So-and-so saw me walk
into the liquor store.

And it's just a feeling of,
like, I can't think or do

Or be who I want to be,
because I'm constantly

Being watched and observed
and disapproved of.

How do we make sure
we're okay?

To me, how I would make it okay
is I would push through it

And ignore everything
that's going on around me

And accomplish
what I wanted to accomplish.

But that's probably me looking
at myself and what I want

Instead of looking at you
and what you need.

When it comes down
to our relationship,

I mean, I know I'm not
on the level I should be.

Olivia moved down here, she
moved her whole life down here,

And when she's really
struggling with disappointment

Of not getting the house
in thomasville,

I kind of feel responsible,
like I didn't maybe do enough

Or didn't do enough
soon enough

To give us the space
that we want and just move on.

you'd be disappointed.

for him to be empathetic

As a child,
he learned to shut that out.

really know how he feels,

It's hard for him
to kind of grasp how I feel.

And today I felt like
maybe for the first time

He understood a little bit

And wanted
to make things better.
