Jesse and his crew have seven days and nights.
On the first day they design, for the next five they build,

Day one, Captain Jesse navigates
his 28 foot great white hope
into its temporary monster dry dock.
The design team disembarks
and heads up to the Monster bridge.
- So we're gonna make a mobile shark diving rig.
- [Presenter] The first thing they need to figure out
is how to make a lake boat seaworthy.
- A lot of people think the Pacific is really smooth,
but it's really, you know, anything under 40 foot,
you get pounded on.
- If you're out there in two or three foot swells,
the back of the boat's gonna actually come up
and push the front in the water.
