- Yeah.
- It's pretty.
Dodge: Yeah.
Narrator: Todd has given up
on his season goal,
but his break-even point
is 1,500 ounces,
and, to reach that,
he needs another 166 ounces...
Guys, rusty red
did 70.5, not bad.
No.
Narrator:
...Worth $84,000.
You know, it's steady, Freddy.
It doesn't run fast,
but it's running consistent.
It reminds me of myself.
What did
holy roller get?
Jack: Well, hunter, holy roller
didn't do too bad
for the yardage.
It was 32.9.
Narrator:
Worth close to $40,000.
She's finally getting
on the scoreboard, at least.
I mean, it's not as good
as it could have been.
You're right.
We lost a lot of time
soundproofing it.
I hear you.
All right.
So our season total
is 1,437.
That's not bad.
Narrator: Worth $1.7 million,
but, as the end approaches,
Todd has yet to break even.
The gold is in the ground there.
We know it.
I know it's been a tough year,
but we got
the holy roller running.
So, Freddy, how does it
sound up there now?
Man, you guys
toned it way down.
It's the last thing we need
this year is another battle.
Trying to go a little bit
above and beyond.
And you did.
It looks like it's got
a diaper on it, but hey.

I can never figure

I don't know what
to think right now.
Narrator: While Parker has
stripped his new ground
next to Tony's dredge,
somebody dug a ditch
behind his fuel truck.
Tony.
You dug my road out.
Somebody dug out
our [Bleep] road.
Really?
Yeah, right.
Do you really have
that big of a problem
with me
being your neighbor?
I'm hardly in your way.
You know, we're just trying
to get some ground
opened up, Tony.
So trust me.
If I could not be anywhere
near your place, I would.
I'm stripping where the lowest
royalties are gonna be,
which is
with Ken and Stuart.
You know, big red
is out of ground,
and our other plant
is knocking up on top
of its royalties.
I'm not gonna pay
a 25% [Bleep]
So we're shutting down.
Well, we're gonna have
two plants down here
in a matter of a week.
and the other one
is just about at 3,000.
Right, and that's...
The problem is,
that's the one that
has stripped ground.
So we can keep sluicing
with sluicifer
on big red's
royalty rates?
Okay.
So I can do 6,000 ounces
without hitting 25%,
is what you're saying?
And what if we go
over 6,000?
You sure say
"deal is a deal" a lot
and then
change the deals.
This time...
For the first time,
it's on the plus side,
so I'm not complaining.
Don't change your mind.
It is.
Yeah.
Well, I'd hate to have
met you 30 years ago.
My dad says the same thing,

Narrator: Parker can now fire
sluicifer back up

of $1 million worth of gold.
I certainly wasn't expecting him
