Detective Davis offered me money under the table

to lie on Madam.

You lying little b*tch!

[Blue]Previously on All the Queen's Men...

My boss did not tell me to k*ll Kat.

[Cabrera] And you did it anyway.

You want to do Garcia?

I feel like everybody knows what we did.

n*gga, you is tripping.

You want to tell me why it is y'all were on my club?

Or should we turn this sh*t up?

We hit Eden because Gene Marks paid us to.

When you start running Eden,

you can set up your new life the way you always wanted to.

[hip-hop music]

Why, hello, Gene.

Madam.

Good to see you.

Is it?

Because you look surprised.

You know, you look about half as surprised as I was

to find out that you hired someone to rob my club.

[Gene] Let me explain.

Uh, doll.

Can I trouble you for some milk and cookies, please?

Thank you.

You know, Gene, there's nothing like some warm cookies

and a cold glass of milk to make everything better.

If you gonna try something, Madam,

you should know that there's cameras all around here.

And people know where I am.

Gene.

Calm down.

I'm not going to sh**t you.

I just want to talk.

Now...

Explain to me why you had someone rob my club.

Were you trying to get my attention?

The way I got yours in court?

-You know, I... -[Madam] I get it.

It was perfect f*cking timing.

I'm on trial, and you know

I cannot risk getting my hands dirty,

so it's a nice move.

-I agree. -[Madam] Mm.

So you should be focusing on your trial.

And by the way, I didn't want to testify against you,

but they subpoenaed me.

I appreciate you for that.

I do. That's nice of you.

Oh, thank you.

Very much.

You want some, don't you? You looking.

I know you do.

[Gene chuckles lightly]

Here, have one.

-Thank you, Madam. -[Madam] Mm-hmm.

Cheers.

[Madam] Cheers.

[Gene] I'm glad.

We got the opportunity... [clears throat]

The opportunity to sit down.

[clearing throat]

These chocolate chip, right?

Yes. They're chocolate chip.

Oh, they might have some ground up walnuts in there too, though.

I'm allergic. [grunts]

-I know. -[Gene coughing]

I also knew you wouldn't pass up

an opportunity to eat a f*cking cookie.

Don't worry, Gene. I do have an epinephrine pen.

Here. Let me help you out.

Oh, yeah.

That's one of those training pens.

Forgot it doesn't have a needle

or medicine.

Oops.

You can call an ambulance now.

And you know what?

I haven't seen your mother in quite some time.

Tell her I say hello.

Excuse me.

Tommy, those cookies were to die for.

[Cabrera] So you committed m*rder for your boss?

I'm not here to talk about my boss.

But you m*rder*d someone for her.

Do you not see how that directly connects to you?

I don't care. I'm not talking about her.

[Cabrera] Okay. Fine.

We won't talk about her per se.

But we will talk about it as it relates to you.

Okay.

[Cabrera] Okay.

k*lling someone, especially for someone else,

that's some serious loyalty, you know.

It's not something you would do unless you love someone,

or you're indebted to them, or both.

I've known my boss forever.

She's always had my back.

And I've had hers.

It's simple.

It's this unwavering loyalty for your boss

that's concerning to me.

It's as if her position in your life

is more important than your own.

I don't see it like that.

How can you not?

Because she doesn't make me do anything

that I don't want to do.

Are you sure you're not the victim

of some kind of gaslighting or some form of manipulation?

My boss wouldn't do that to me.

Plus, I'm not weak.

Have you ever considered the possibility

that the relationship with your boss

is more than purely professional?

I mean, she's a very attractive woman.

What, you think I want to f*ck her?

Do you?

Just because I am a l*sbian doesn't mean I want

to screw every woman that I admire.

I'm just saying, have you ever wondered

about the depth of your relationship?

So how we looking? Think I should testify?

Oh, no. No.

When you're winning a case, there's no need

to expose yourself to the DA's questioning.

So you think we're winning?

I can't guarantee the outcome,

but you're in a pretty good position.

Especially after Ms. Suede's testimony.

You know, not much surprises me, but I did not expect her

to change that sh*t up like that.

I didn't.

It was touch and go for me in my mind, too.

But fortunately for you, she switched the situation up.

I kind of felt the shift after Ms. Suede's testimony.

-Yup. So did I. -[Lovett] Mm.

The jurors, all of them, they looked at me.

I feel like that's a good sign.

It is. It is on your side right now.

So to answer your question, no.

You don't need to testify.

Okay.

The f*ck is she smiling about?

Maybe she got laid last night.

But whatever it is, it can't be about

how this trial is going for her.

Nothing. But got everything to do with Madam.

I ain't tell her yet.

District Attorney Rodds, are you ready to close?

Actually, Your Honor, we have some new information
