I was attacked by two lions

Even though
I've been here before,

I'm not familiar
with this territory.

It's gonna kick my a*s

But statistically,
I tend to survive things.

Six years ago to this day,
I was in south africa,

And I was working at
a wildlife rehabilitation center

When a faulty gate allowed me
to get attacked by two lions.

I got pulled through the gate
of the feeding cage

And mauled by two lions.

My legs got mauled
from the very, very tops

Of my thighs down to my calf.

Instead of kind of
veering away from nature,

I veered towards it.

Going back into an environment
that has lions,

It's disturbing to me,

But I don't want that fear to
transform into me being scared.

I'm gonna be doing my best
on this challenge.

Never to panic
because it's a waste of time

And it's not
a good survival tactic.

Panicking will k*ll you.

off-the-ground huts.

Fishing, catching snakes,
using snares.

I've been hunting gator

For I can't even tell you
how long.

Having that knowledge base
that I have that is hands-on

With these gators,
that kind of experience,

You can't read that,
you can't train that.

That's experience-level stuff.

I'll take that
and bring it out here.

And hopefully it works out
for the best

will be moving into an area

Dominated by lions
and aggressive warthogs,

Who use their razor-sharp tusks

To take down animals
twice their size.

But the bigger threat here
is the cape buffalo,

Reaching 11 feet in height
and weighing up to 2,000 pounds.

They are responsible
for more human deaths

Than any other animal in africa.

We've got all the crocs
down here.

Game.
But we do have lions.

We'll get to the lions
if we walk that way.

So we're gonna walk

of fear about where I am,

When the lion
