I can't believe camp is almost over.

I think there's plenty of red paint

What do you need all that for?

I guess I'm just not ready to say goodbye.

What sort of camp is this anyway?

They teach us to have fun,
make new friends,

only to yank the rug out
from under our feet by having it all end.

They don't mention never seeing
your friends again in the brochure.

I wasn't sure what camp
was going to be like,

but I never imagined going home
would make me feel so sad.

I thought I might find you here.

If I didn't know any better,
I'd say you were avoiding me.

It's just, now that camp's ending,

I guess I'm not quite ready
to face the fact

that we might not be friends anymore.

[sighs] We live so far apart.

You seemed so excited to be going home.

all the fun I had with my new friend.

Yeah. Though I wonder if the whole
camp thing isn't a bit overrated.

It's been fun and all,

but I'm not sure we've experienced
anything we couldn't have back home.

[grunts]

I can't believe it's the last day
of camp already.

What should we do? Swim? Go fishing?

Play capture the flag? Roast marshmallows?

Play baseball? Go canoeing?

your troop earned?

Guess that means you won't be getting
kicked out of the Beagle Scouts after all.

It looks like the bottom corner
of the page is folded over.

Um, I hate to be the bearer
of bad news, Snoopy,

but it looks like you're missing a badge.

- [gasps]

"Failure to earn the minimum number
of badges

will result in the troop's loss
of official Beagle Scout status."

[screaming, crying]

Another year of camp has come and gone.

And once again, I've failed to accomplish
anything of note.

No ribbons. No awards.
Nothing to write home about.

What did you write home about?

Weather reports, mostly.

I don't think camp is supposed to be
about accomplishments.

I think it's about having experiences.

Easy for you to say.

Your pinecone sculpture took first prize
in the craft fair.

My pinecone Joe Shlabotnik
didn't even place.

You can't blame yourself
if you ran out of time and didn't finish.

It is finished.

It's probably my fault for hoping
things would be different.

I feel like a failure.

Frankly, I think our society puts too much
emphasis on individual achievement.

And at least I participated, right?

When I was counselor for a day,
you encouraged me to be myself.

You helped the tooth fairy
find me at camp.

You reminded us all that the best pizza
is the one you share.

You didn't really do anything for me.

whenever I needed a friend.

for showing us that being there for others
is the greatest accomplishment of all.
