What email from Christie?
You should've got it.
She called a meeting.
She called a board meeting
for Wednesday at 2 o'clock.
[Jim] For any business to grow
you eventually need a board.
Um, they are professional
people in your field
or sometimes
outside of your field,
who become your
checks and balances.
And I got the biggest check
and balance with Christie Hefner.
She is the daughter
of Hugh Hefner

call a meeting? I don't know.

No. Why would I call her?
Well, how come she's calling a board meeting
48 hours after I make the announcement?
I don't know. You'd have to
ask Christie. How do I know?
She wants a board meeting.
What did she say it was about?
She didn't say.
She just said we gotta get
together on Wednesday at 2 o'clock.
[Jim] Something's fishy here.
Mr. Paranoia,
Mr. Coffee, Mr. Cigarettes.
Mr. Breaker of things.
Mr. Get me fat.
He's also a snitch.
Chris!

drama or read into something?
-How does Christie know?
-Jim.

Jim, he thinks I

Let's get out of here.
My neighbors don't even know me.

Wait. No, no, wait. Whoa, whoa.
[Chris] How do we get down now?

-[cop] Oh, hey!
Can I get a selfie?
-Yeah, you got a phone?
-Yes.
-That'd be great.

Chris, why don't you
take a picture of us?
Chicago's finest.
[siren wails]
Going into battle.
Gotta sharpen my mind!
Sharpen that edge. [exhales]
Okay, I'm going into
battle without an axe.
[Christie] So then, what else
then Gregg is front of mind
that we need to focus on here?
My name is Christie Hefner,
and I've been an adviser to Jim
since day one when
he started the business.
Well, I was Playboy
Enterprises' CEO for twenty years.
So, I was the longest serving female CEO
of a publicly traded company when I left.
[Jim] Christie is very respected
in the cannabis business.
She's definitely the one who
brings my vision
down to reality.
I just think that...
We've been getting
emails, phone calls,
people have been
bugging Gregg, me, Chris
that they want us to
come in their states.
And it's not like
we're pursuing them,
they're coming to pursue us.
We have a plan that we agreed to
that was the basis on
which we raised some capital.
What about your bad idea?
Just quiet down.
-Now is the time.
-No, it's not.
Do I need to call a time-out
here? What's going on?
What's going on is he
wants to expand in ten states
in the next 90 days.
-[Jim] That's not...
-Well, that's ambitious, my dear.
-With no plan of any kind.
-Bull crap!
[Chris] That's exactly
what's happening.
That is not what's happening.
We have a lot of
people that are interested
in having the Belushi products.
The Blues Brothers,
-Captain Jack...
-Okay, let's... let's lower the temperature
and just unpack
this a little bit.
Okay, go ahead, Jim.
Just let me make a note here.
Snitch.
My dad used to say
when they want you... do it!
There's nothing that's
time-sensitive
about these brands.
It's about when and how.
More states we have
to try and do that in,
the more complex it gets.
It's wonderful
and critical to have
someone that has the vision
and the energy that Jim has,
at the same time we have
to choose our opportunities
and then to make sure that
the larger board has the confidence
to make decisions as a team.
I'd like to expand this brand
into the other states and
we got ten people that...
Just because ten
girls wanna date you
doesn't mean that you
have to be polygamous.
I think it's great
that there's...
this
-enthusiasm and demand. Yeah.
-Wait a... wait a minute. Let me ask you something.
There's ten girls
who wanna date me?
We have to be able to
consistently execute launch.
You're gonna have
to visit these locations.
That way we can
actually do due diligence.
That's a great idea. We
can check out the community.
We can check out the employees,
check out the facilities,
see what kind of
work it needs but...
[Christie] So, Jim, let's agree
that you're gonna report back
before you make any deals.
And if we like what we hear
we'll start with
your favorite one.
Now, we agree here, right?
I said one.
Okay.
Christie said I should go
out and vet these people.
And she's absolutely right.
Boots on the ground.
We gotta vet everything.
I'm just gonna vet it quickly.
[Anthony] Today, we're
gonna be doing clones.
Every single one
of these leaves,
you can make an
identical plant out of it.
[Larry] I wanna
learn about the farm.
I have a goal in mind.
I wanna run this puppy.
I love the idea of
them expanding.
That means they're
gonna be on the road.
I... I should be the
boots on the ground here.
Captain Larry,
reporting for duty.
[Anthony] The clones
we start with the RO water.
-RO?
-[Anthony] Reverse... Reverse osmosis.
It basically filters all
the water from the river
that makes it a 100%
clear for our clones.
The pH out of the
river is usually high.
7.5 if it rains a
lot. It could dump.
So what we have to
do is adjust this pH.
The cannabis wants
a certain range.
And usually it takes
about two gallons to...
to do these trays.
These trays have 98 plugs...
-98 plugs? Wow.
-...put these babies.
-[Larry] Okay.
-[Anthony] Each tray,
and usually we do
about 400 at a time.
Four hundred?
And then while that's gonna sit,
we're gonna get cloning and
this is gonna be the easy part.
So, each one of these leaves
we're gonna go ahead
and clip it down there.
Hold the node away from you.
-[Larry] Hold...
-[Anthony] Cut it at an angle into there.
Cut it again.
Yeah, it should make
a little check mark.
-See the check mark?
-Oh, yeah.
[Anthony] Look how much
soft tissue we created.
-Mmm-hmm.
-[Anthony] We get rid of the node
'cause again, we
gotta put 98 on a tray.
And then hold it
up, get the tips...
Top it, nodes, check mark.
Is there a lot to
learn? Yes, there is.
Was Anthony going kind of fast?
He sure was.
Am I worried about
it? Mmm. Not at all.
That's a lie. Could you tell?
No, you couldn't
'cause I'm a good actor.
-[Anthony] Wanna try?

So, I'm just gonna cut,
and I'll just cut

My hair?
No, it's not a toupee.
Yeah, it's a toupee.
Hash started, like,
in, the 13th century.
India, Nepal, Afghanistan.
Hash is an oil ball.
It's a very premium product
in the cannabis market.
People really didn't smoke hash.
I mean, they used to make
this hash and they would either
eat it, put it in tea,
or was incense a lot
of times in the churches.
For sure, they saw
God with the good hash.
[man] This is where
the process starts.
We got our dried, cured,
organic, whole flour
that goes into your brick hash.
[Jim] So, this is
the beginning. Wow.
[Jim] So, there's
no trim going in,
-there's no crap going in.
-[man] No.
-[Jim] This is the pure bud.
-[man] Yep.
The trichomes on
a calyx or a bud.
They're like little bubbles.
That's the oil. That's the THC.
So, when you wash it,
it's knocking off
all those trichomes.

is pumped into this receptacle

and placed on trays to be frozen.
So then, what do you do now

It's gonna go into the
freeze dryer overnight,
put under vacuum,

suck all that water out of the hash.

take the bubble hash

pen, some edibles.
Wait a minute, wait a minute.

all this live rosin?
