Mafuyu: I keep having the same dream...

Mafuyu: over and over again.

Ann: Thank you for waiting.

Ann: The ten-car rapid express bound for Shinjuku is now arriving at platform .

Girl: Hey, look at this.

Girl: Oh, man...

Girl: Isn't it cool?

Mafuyu: Over and over...

Ann: Its next stop is Shin-Yurigaoka.

Ann: The rapid express bound for Shinjuku is now departing.

Ann: Please stay clear of the closing doors.

Ann: The doors are now closing.

Mafuyu: I'm not lonely...

Guy: Uenoyama, wanna go buy some bread?

Rits: Nah. Too tired.

Guy: Aw...

Guy: Wanna play some basketball, then?

Rits: I'm gonna take a nap.

Guy: Again?!

Mafu: Who are you?

Rits: The name's Uenoyama...

Rits: Seriously... Say something, would you?!

Rits: Use your damn words! You're creepy as hell!

Rits: And your strings are rusty! That's why one of 'em broke!

Rits: Fix it already!

Rits: Why do you own a Gibson if you can't even mainta—

Rits: Wha...

Mayu: This can be fixed?

Rits: Huh?

Mafu: It can be fixed?

Rits: Of course it can! And back off, would ya?!

Mafu: Really?

Mafu: Could you fix it fast?

Rits: Well... yeah...

Mafu: Could you fix it now?

Rits: Uh... Probably not right now.

Rits: I don't have the tools.

Rits: Would you stop looking like the whole world ended over a broken string?!

Rits: Now I feel bad, like I got your hopes up just so they could crash back down!

Rits: Gimme back my naptime, damn it!

Rits: Be happier! Praise me! And pay me for the damn strings!

Rits: Not yet!

Rits: Hold your horses, newbie.

Mafu: Hey!

Mafu: Please teach me how to play that thing.

rits: It all started with that chord I played.

rits: I had no idea that I was strumming hard on his heartstrings with my own fingers.

rits: Uh... I need to tune it first...

rits: Thinking back, it was this encounter

rits: that set my world racing forward at full speed.

Rits: Wh-What the hell?!

Yayoi: Your nasty boxers were mixed in with my stuff,

Yayoi: so your dear, sweet sister brought them back to you, dumbass.

Rits: How many times do I have to tell you to knock?

Yayoi: So, Ritsuka... You got band practice today?

ritsu: Like I've said, don't bring your relationship issues into my band.

Ritsu: Besides, didn't Kaji-san already dump you?

yayoi: He didn't dump me!

ritsu: Ow...

ritsu: Damn that Yayoi...

ritsu: I started playing guitar in sixth grade,

Ritsu: when my dad gave me the guitar he wasn't using anymore.

Ritsu: Of course, I wasn't going to be Thom Yorke or Keith Richards right off the bat...

Flashback,Yayoi: Heh, you suck.

Ritsu: I never could handle things not going the way I wanted,

Ritsu: so I became obsessed with music.

Ritsu: And around the time I started high school...

Ritsu: I was finally able to play the way I wanted to.

Ritsu: But before I realized it,

Ritsu: the more I sharpened my skills,

Ritsu: the more my old excitement faded.

Ritsu: Now that I think about it,

Ritsu: I guess I almost cried when I first broke a string, too,

Ritsu: because I thought I'd broken my guitar...

Ritsu: So we meet again, Guy I'm Tentatively Calling "Teach-Me-Guitar-Dude."

Ritsu: I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it, you hear?

Ritsu: Hey.

Ritsu: And I'm going to defend my napping spot to the death!

Mafu: Uenoyama-kun.

Mafu: Thank you for your help yesterday.

Ritsu: Uh, sure...

Mafu: Here.

Mafu: This is to thank you.

Mafu: Uenoyama-kun.

Mafu: Please teach me how to play guitar.

Ritsu: Seriously?

Ritsu: No, I don't need your money.

Mafu: In that case...

Mafu: Take this.

Manly and Spicy!! Yakisoba Bread

Ritsu: Dude...

Ritsu: Look...

Ritsu: You can try to win me over with money or bread,

Ritsu: but I've never taught anyone how to play guitar.

Ritsu: Just look up how to play.

Ritsu: Or, y'know, you could join the light music club.

Ritsu: Try to form a band with their members.

Mafu: A band?

Ritsu: I need to explain that, too?!

Ritsu: What the hell is with you?

Ritsu: You carry a guitar around knowing nothing about it?

Ritsu: Hey...

Ritsu: Hey, don't get all depressed.

Ritsu: I didn't say it was a bad thing...

Mafu: Really?

Mafu: Uenoyama-kun.

Ritsu: What?

Mafu: Please teach me how to play guitar.

Ritsu: Hey.

Ritsu: Stop following me.

Ritsu: I told you, ask someone else if you wanna learn guitar.

Ritsu: Hey.

Mafu: Uenoyama-kun.

Kaji: So, uh...

Kaji: Who's that?

Ritsu: I feel like I've picked up a stray puppy!

Kaji: Sorry, what?

Ritsu: I tried to lose him, but I just couldn't!

Kaji: Yeah...

Kaji: I have absolutely no clue what you mean.

Ritsu: Hey! Show Kaji-san some respect, damn it!

Ritsu: Just so you know, Kaji-san looks real scary, but he's a nice guy!

Ritsu: He just looks scary!

Haruki: Heya. Sorry I'm late. Er...

Haruki: Whoa, who the heck?!

Ritsu: Hey.

Ritsu: This is our bassist, Haruki-san.

Mafu: Bassist?

Default - Top,Ritsu: Uh... He's part of the rhythm section in our band.

Haruki: Hey, what's going on?

Kaji: Dunno. Uenoyama brought him.

Default - Top,Mafu: Rhythm?

Ritsu: Go on.

Mafu: It's nice to meet you. I'm Mafuyu Sato.

Mafu: I came to watch you play.

Haruki: Watch us...

Kaji: ...play?

Kaji: Well, in that case...

Haruki: Guess we'll have to show you what we can do.

Ritsu: Huh? Are you sure about this?

Kaji: Huh? Uh, why not?

Ritsu: He's a total newbie and doesn't understand sh*t!

Ritsu: He's probably expecting some kind of godly performance!

Kaji: This is bad!

Kaji: We'll only set the bar higher if we don't say something!

Haruki: Wait, don't say stuff that makes it sound like he's right!

Ritsu: Just how bad do you two want to impress people?

Ritsu: Whatever. Let's just play like we usually do.

Haruki: Nope.

Kaji: Not happening.

Ritsu: Huh?

Haruki: First and foremost, we want to look cool.

Kaji: I want to summon a storm.

Kaji: Just like Yujiro Ishihara.

Haruki: Oh, nice. It might be cool to go retro.

Haruki: Might even sound new now.

Kaji: Then we in the rhythm section will go with a Showa-era kind of flow.

Kaji: And then...

Both: You'll top it off with some fancy, modern guitar play!

Ritsu: What the hell does that mean?!

Ritsu: Uh, what was your name again?

Mafu: Mafuyu Sato.

Ritsu: What kind of guitar did you want to hear?

Mafu: What kind?

Ritsu: What kind of song do you want to hear?

Mafu: S-Something cool!

Ritsu: Talk about abstract.

Kaji: Oh, my.

Haruki: He's totally into this.

Kaji: Well, we can't just sit here, can we?

Ritsu: Why the hell am I walking you home?

Ritsu: Hey, are you listening?

Ritsu: Sato?

Mafu: Can I come see you guys again?

Ritsu: No way.

Mafu: Teach me guitar... please.

Ritsu: Would you knock that off? I've never taught anyone.

Ritsu: I don't even know how to teach.

Mafu: Please teach me.

Ritsu: Knock it off already!

Ritsu: I'm telling you, you'd be better off joining the light music club—

Ritsu: That was close. You need to watch behind you.

Mafu: But I can't see behind me.

Ritsu: Don't get smart with me.

Ritsu: Just go check out the light music club.

Ritsu: I'm not trying to be mean. I'm telling you for your own sake.

Yayoi: You're late.

Ritsu: Yikes.

Ritsu: I gotta wonder about you, both as my sister and as a lady, when you look like that.

Yayoi: I was waiting for you to start baking the freakin' pizza.

Ritsu: My bad.

Yayoi: It's in the freezer. Get to work.

Ritsu: Hey, Yayoi...

Ritsu: Do you remember what I was doing when I first started playing guitar?

Yayoi: Huh? You were just strumming on it.

Ritsu: Yeah, my bad. I was stupid to even ask you.

Ritsu: Then again, I don't really remember myself.

Ritsu: See?

Ritsu: Teaching someone how to play from scratch is too much for me right now...

Ritsu: I wonder if my eyes used to look like that, too...

Guy: Itaya, block!

Ritsu: Ow!

Ita: Careful, man...

Guy: What's up, Uecchi? You seem out of it.

Ritsu: Nothing, just thinking.

Ritsu: Ugh, it's bugging me!

Ritsu: I haven't been over there since yesterday.

Ritsu: Because I had a feeling I'd break if he asked me again.

Ritsu: Hosokai, switch with me.

Ritsu: But... I'm pretty sure he's waiting there, even now.

Ritsu: And with that lost puppy look on his face, I bet.

Ritsu: Damn!

Ritsu: Why do I have to feel so guilty about this?!

Ritsu: Huh?

Ritsu: What? He's not here...

Ritsu: C'mon... Why is this bothering me so much?

Ritsu: Did he give up?

Ritsu: Well, I guess I didn't show up here yesterday or today...

Ritsu: But...

Ritsu: Huh?

Ritsu: What?

Ritsu: What?!

Kaji: Uenoyama, your mouth's hanging open.

Kaji: Hey.

Kaji: Hello? Anyone home?

Kaji: Uenoyama... You've been making that weird face for a couple of days now.

Ritsu: Kaji-san... This is how I always look.

Kaji: No, the Uesama I know had a much more regal look to him.

Ritsu: What the heck does that mean?

Kaji: Ah, I see...

Kaji: What was his name again? Sato? Takahashi? Suzuki?

Ritsu: It's Sato.

Kaji: Why don't you look after the kid?

Kaji: I thought it might be good motivation for you.

Ritsu: Huh?

Kaji: I mean...

Kaji: You were on fire when we jammed the other day.

Kaji: Well, whatever. Let's get to the studio.

Ritsu: Huh?

Ritsu: What?

Ritsu: Was it... actually showing on my face?

Haru: Wow, you did that all by yourself? Awesome!

Kaji: Heya. Sorry we're late.

Haru: Heyo.

Haru: Mafuyu-chan came by again.

Haru: He was just sitting outside the studio, so I let him in.

Haru: Oh, yeah. Akihiko, did you buy me that tea?

Ritsu: Y-You! What the hell are you doing here?!

Kaji: Calm down, jeez.

Haruki: More importantly, this is amazing! Listen to this, Uecchi!

Ritsu: Huh?!

Mafuyu: L-Look... I was able to...

Mafuyu: change the strings all by myself.

Ritsuka: Uh...

Mafuyu: Also, listen to this.

Mafuyu: Did I tune it right?

Ritsuka: Didn't you...

Ritsuka: go to the light music club?

Mafuyu: I did.

Mafuyu: They had all kinds of people and instruments there, and it seemed fun...

Mafuyu: But you were cooler, Uenoyama-kun.

Mafuyu: So...

Mafuyu: Please teach me more about guitar.
