Hello, Mila! What can we clean for you today?

My Robotics Engineer's outfit, if you wouldn't mind.

I've had a very busy day building robots!

Oh! What sort of robots can you build, Mila?

Any sort of robot you can think of!

Maybe a bedroom tidying robot

with an automatic dustpan, and brush!

Or a cooking robot with wooden spoons for fingers!

Or a joke-telling robot

that comes pre-loaded with a thousand funny gags!

Wow!

I know a robot who can help get that outfit cleaned, for you.

[triumphant fanfare]

Ah, thank you! Toodle-oo!

We'll take these to Suds, Mum!

-Hi, Suds! -Hello, my bubbly-buddies!

And what have you got for me today?

A robotics engineer's outfit!

Ah, yes!

I'll make sure I don't get my wires crossed with this one!

[all giggle]

[whirring]

Suds, do you have any robotics engineers' outfits we can wear?

Let me see now.

-[upbeat music] -[clapping]

[bubbles pop]

We're robotics engineers!

[alarm ringing]

-Oh, no! -What's going on, Mila?

Emergency at my moonbase.

I need to get there in my rocket right away!

The trouble is, I've promised to build Farmer Tilly a special robot

for her farm by this afternoon!

But I can't do that and fly to the moon!

What a high-tech pickle!

Why don't we build Farmer Tilly's robot for you?

Well, you do look like highly trained robotics engineers.

-Alright. You're hired! -Yes!

Now then, everything you need is in my lab!

Robot Parts over there,

Programming Department over there.

Ooh! And what happens there?

[Mila laughing] That's where I make my lunch.

[all giggle]

Now, Farmer Tilly needs a robot to keep the birds away from her

They keep eating all of her lettuce seeds!

Leave it to us, Mila!

Wonderful! I'm sure you all know the golden rule of robotics...

A robot is only ever as good as its programming.

-[alarm ringing] -[gasp] I must blast off to the moon!

Let's build a robot from these parts!

These tracks are a good start!

Now we need a middle bit.

[quirky music]

-[Lofty] Perfect! -Hmm...

Oh...

And how about this for a head?

Ooh! And these sensors will help it see and hear!

Now, we need to program the robot

so it knows what to do.

Farmer Tilly needs it to keep birds off her field...

So let's make it really scary!

Now, let's turn it on!

[robotic voice] Robot waiting for instructions!

Robot, be scary.

Scary level: One!

Ooh! It is quite scary!

Let's take it to Farmer Tilly

and scare those birds away from her lettuce field!

Shoo! Shoo!

Oh, I can't shoo birds all day!

I've got a farm to run!

-[electronic sound] -Oh. Hello. Who are you?

Hi, Farmer Tilly!

This is your new bird scaring robot!

Ah-ha! Perfect timing!

Look at all those birds!

This robot will get rid of them!

Robot, scare those birds.

Scary level: One.

Boo! Boo! Boo!

Umm... It's not working.

Robot, be scarier.

Scary level: Two!

Boo! Boo! Boo!

Okay, let's try maximum scariness!

Robot, be as scary as you can!

Be the scariest robot in town!

Scary level: Maximum!

Ooh, I don't like the look of that!

[robot] Scariest robot in town!

[oinking]

Where is it going?

-Scariest robot in town! -It's going to town!

Turn it off! Quickly!

Robot, stop!

It can't hear us! It's got mud in it's sensors!

And voila!

Don't mind if I do, Chef.

[screaming]

There it is!

[quirky music]

-Boo! -[screaming]

[robot] Scary! Scary! Scary!

-Boo! -Ah!

Oh...

-Boo! -Ah!

The robot is too fast...

[distant screaming]

We need to stop it! It's scaring the whole town!

We need to switch it off!

We can't get close enough!

We might be able to, if we distracted it!

If one of us gets its attention...

-The others can sneak up on it... -And switch it off!

But who's going to be the one that has to get its attention?

[Lofty gulps]

Here I am, minding my own business.

I hope nothing scares me!

[robot] Scariest robot in town!

-Boo! -Ah! A scary robot! Stop!

-Stop! -[robot] Boo!

Yes!

That didn't go very well.

What sort of Robotics Engineers

can't even build a bird-scaring robot.

[sighs] Being a robotics engineer is hard.

Mila didn't actually say it needed to scare the birds.

No. She just said it needed to keep the birds away.

She also said a robot is only ever as good as its programming.

Maybe we can programme the robot in a different way?

Let's do it!

[upbeat music]

Oh, you're back! Thank goodness!

And we've re-engineered the robot!

Robot, keep the birds off the field.

[robotic voice] Keep birds off field.

[robotic laugh]

[Milo] It's a non-scary bird scarer.

Oh, and how did my little robotics engineers get on? Hm?

Oh Suds, it was brilliant!

We had to build a robot to keep the birds away

from Farmer Tilly's fields!

But we made the robot really scary, and it frightened the whole town!

Then we reprogrammed the robot

to do the same job, but in a different way!

When I grow up, I think it would be amazing to be a...
