I liked making these colorful party hats!

Mama Panda: Oh, yeah! Me too.

I liked playing Release the Rainbow.

Mama Panda: Oh, you are so good at that game!

Panda: Oh, and the colorrific cookies, and the parades,

and decorating my spaceship was really fun.

And I loved waking up every morning and saying,

It's been a pretty big week, hasn't it?

It's not Spectacular Season anymore.

Donkey: Panda! You're home!

My room looks so empty now.

No more decorations, no more holiday stuff.

[sighs] No more fun.

Donkey: Hee-haw, Panda!

How was Spectacular Season?

Panda: [sighs]

Donkey: What's wrong, Panda pal?

Panda: Oh.

Just look!

Donkey: Look at what, exactly?

Panda: It's my room, Donkey!

It's so empty!

It used to be full of colorful

Spectacular Season decorations, but now that it's over,

it's just a plain old room on a plain old day!

Donkey: Oh, Panda, I know how you feel.

I was really sad the day after my birthday.

No more cake, no more presents, no more games.

It was just a plain old day.

Panda: Yeah.

Spectacular Season was just so much fun, ya know?

Plain old days aren't nearly as fun or exciting

Donkey: Sure, but even the little things you do

on a plain old day can make you happy.

Panda: Really? Donkey: Mm-hmm.

Panda: What kind of little things?

Donkey: Well, um, uh, uh, hmm...

Think, Donkey Hodie, think.

[ting!] Oh!

I know a great way to start a plain old day --

with a plain old breakfast!

Panda: Hey! Cinnamon toast and tea!

That's what I usually have for breakfast -

well, except during Spectacular Season.

Oh, there were so many special holiday foods to eat

that I didn't have my usual cinnamon toast or tea.

[giggles]

Donkey: Well, I know this cinnamon toast

isn't the same as a colorrific cookie,

but it sure is tasty.

[gulp!]

Panda: It is tasty. Donkey: [giggles]

Panda: Wow.

It looks so plain looking, but it's just so good.

I didn't realize how much I missed cinnamon toast until now.

Donkey: Oh, it's easy to forget how nice plain old things

can be after big exciting days.

Hey you know what I did the day after my birthday?

I sat in bed and I just let myself feel sad

for a little while.

But then, I decided that I should just do

what I do every day,

so I just got up and I made my bed!

Panda: Oh, I haven't made my bed all week.

I mean, making your bed is such a plain old

hey-h*-hum thing to do.

Donkey: Hmm. Panda: But...

So how did it help you feel better?

Donkey: Well, it felt good to get back into my usual routine.

I like the little things I do every day.

Don't you?

Panda: Hmm. I guess so.

I mean, I liked my plain old usual breakfast,

so maybe making my bed like I do every day will feel good too.

Panda: Yes, it is.

But we cannot draw pictures with a tap shoe.

Donkey: [gasps] I mean...

[clears throat] That's right, Panda!

Which means it's time to play the hee-hawesome game,

Panda: Hey-o!

Donkey: Colored pencils!

Picture-drawing stuff or not picture-drawing stuff?

Panda: Uh... Picture-drawing stuff!

Donkey: Stylish hat?

Panda: Ooo.

Panda: Picture-drawing stuff!

Donkey: Hot dog squeaky toy? [toy squeaks]

Panda: Definitely not picture-drawing stuff!

And also, I need to get that back to Bob Dog.

Donkey: Paper! Panda: Picture-drawing stuff!

Donkey: Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding!

We have colored pencils and crayons and paper!

That means the game is over and we can draw pictures!

Rockstar Penguin asked both Donkey and me

to make a dance for her,

but then Donkey ended up doing it all by herself.

Panda: Hey Donkey.

I'm just making a sad Sand Snurdle.

Donkey: Oh. Well, why is it sad?

Panda: Well, he's sad because I'm sad.

And I'm sad, because we didn't use any of my moves

for "The Birdie Rock Hop".

All of the moves were yours, Donkey.

I didn't get to share any of my ideas,

and we were supposed to make up the dance together.

Makes me so frustrated.

Donkey: You're right, they were all my moves.

And I know I'd feel sad and frustrated

if we only used your ideas, and not mine.

That wasn't fair.

And the dance wasn't the same without your moves.

By taking turns, we found a fair way to make this hee-hawesome...
