- Hello class. I'm Watt Light.

You may remember me from my many shenanigans.

Today, I'm happy to present my family tree.

Ta-da!

[drooping trombone notes] [crickets chirping]

- Watt, did you listen to the assignment?

- Of course I did. What was it again?

- We're all making family trees.

That's a chart that lists your family members

and how you're related to them.

- Wow, I was way off base!

- I'll give you another shot.

Can you make a new one for tomorrow?

- Aw, man, I can't.

I have to go to a family reunion tonight.

- That sounds like a great opportunity

to learn about your family and put it in a tree.

- Awesome!

[upbeat music]

- We are here, Watt. The family reunion.

Why don't you talk to everyone, write down their names

and see how they're related to you.

- I love asking people a million personal questions.

I'm on it!

Aunt Lava and Uncle Disco, hi!

I'm making a family tree for school.

- Sounds groovy, Watt.

- Far out!

- Can you tell me how we're related?

- Well, I'm your dad's sister

and your uncle Disco is my husband

and that's why we are your aunt and uncle.

- Hey, guys. - [All] Hey, Watt!

- Can you tell me who you are and how we're related?

- Sure. I'm Red.

- I'm Yellow.

- And I'm Melissa.

- Our mom and dad are your Aunt Lava and Uncle Disco.

- So that makes us your cousins.

[bright sparkling music] [pencil scratching]

- Grandpa Edison and Grandma Candle!

I'm making a family tree for school.

- That's wonderful, Watt. Make sure we're on there.

I'm your father's father.

That's what makes me your grandfather.

- And I'm your father's mother,

which makes me your grandmother.

Do you know what that makes you?

- What? - Adorable.

- Aw Thanks, Grandma.

- I'm your grandfather's father.

- Grampy Lampy!

- That makes me your great grandfather.

- Hold on, hold on. Let me get this all down.

You guys are so cool.

- I think the word you're looking for is grand.

- You know another great thing about families?

Just like a tree, they can grow.

Meet Ellie.

[Ellie giggling]

- [gasps] Who's that?

- This is the newest member of the Light Family.

She's my cousin's daughter,

which makes her your second cousin.

- Wow. She's so small.

But I bet she could light up a whole room.

- And she hardly ever has to be changed.

- Huh? It doesn't look like much of a tree.

Maybe Mr. Rubric meant to say family clump.

- Why don't you try connecting the dots?

- Tree-mendous!

- It's family photo time, everybody.

Get your bulbs over here.

One, two, three, lights on.
