[CARL] Yes! Halloween costume on!

[CARL] Hi, Sheldon.

[CARL] What are you, some kind of ghost or something?

[SHELDON] Nope, I'm a giant leopard moth.

[SHELDON] Are you ready to trick-or-treat?

[♪]

[CARL] I don't really like the whole trick-or-treat part of

[CARL] Halloween.

[SHELDON] Why not?

[CARL] Because I don't like to ring the doorbells of people I

[CARL] don't know very well.

[CARL] And I certainly don't like to have to say anything to

[CARL] them like trick or treat.

[SHELDON] Do you go because you like the candy?

[CARL] I'm in it for the wrappers!

[CARL] I have a candy wrapper collection.

[CARL] I've been working on it for years.

[CARL] This Halloween, I'm hoping to add four more

[CARL] wrappers.

[CARL] The Caramelon, the Didgeridoodle, the Clunkychunk,

[CARL] and the elusive Pickle Brittle Bar.

[♪]

[SHELDON] Ooh, cool!

[SHELDON] Let me see.

[SHELDON] Huh?

[SHELDON] What's this space for?

[CARL] It's the stuff of candy legend.

[CARL] The Super Colossal Fuzzy Chomper.

[♪]

[SHELDON] How come you're not looking for that one?

[CARL] The super colossal fuzzy chomper is super rare.

[CARL] Why, I bet if I went out for Halloweens, I still

[CARL] wouldn't get one.

[SHELDON] All this candy talk is getting me hungry.

[SHELDON] Let's go get some candy

[CARL] And candy wrappers!

[CARL] Bye, Mama!

[CARLS MAMA] Bye, Carl.

[CARLS MAMA] Have fun trick-or-treating.

[ARUGULA] Nico, we're gonna be late!

[NICO] Late for what?

[ARUGULA] We have to get in our rainbow corn costume.

[ARUGULA] Otherwise, we'll be late for trick-or-treating.

[NICO] I'm not doing that this year.

[NICO] What do you mean?

[NICO] Dressing up for Halloween is for little kids.

[ARUGULA] But this is the first year we're allowed to

[ARUGULA] trick-or-treat after dark without any grown-ups.

[NICO] I'm not going trick-or-treating, especially

[NICO] after dark.

[ARUGULA] Are you scared to go trick-or-treating after dark?

[NICO] I'm not scared of anything.

[NICO] And to prove it, I will go.

[ARUGULA] Yay!

[ARUGULA] Thank you, thank you, thank you!

[ARUGULA] Get in the front of the Rainbocorn and we can start

[ARUGULA] trick-or-treating right away.

[NICO] Actually, you go in the front.

[NICO] I'll be the Rainbocorn rear.

[ARUGULA] You won't see much from the back end.

[NICO] That's OK.

[NICO] I don't really need to see any Halloween stuff at

[NICO] night.

[NICO] Now put on the costume before I change my mind!

[♪]

[SHELDON] My dad says before we head out, we have to go over his

[SHELDON] trick-or-treating at night safety checklist.

[SHELDON] Always stick together, stay on the sidewalk, and be

[SHELDON] careful crossing the street.

[SHELDON] And no knocking on doors when the lights are off in

[SHELDON] the house.

[CARL] Check, check, and triple check.

[CARL] Now, where is everybody?

[FORREST] Nuuuuuuuuuts... Nuuuuuuuts!

[SHELDON] Great costume, Forrest!

[SHELDON] What are you?

[FORREST] I love to be frightened on Halloween, so I

[FORREST] decide to go as the two things I'm most afraid of.

[FORREST] Zombies and peanuts.

[FORREST/CARL] Scary!

[FORREST] What are you, Carl?

[CARL] I'm the legendary sea monster of enormous size,

[CARL] the Kraken.

[FORREST] Cool!

[FORREST] Hey, do you want to hear a scary rumor I heard

[FORREST] today?

[SHELDON] I don't know.

[SHELDON] My dad always says that most rumors aren't true,

[SHELDON] and that's why we shouldn't spread them.

[CARL] I want to hear.

[CARL] What is it?

[FORREST] Do you know that creepy house on top of Fuzzytown

[FORREST] Hill?

[♪ Scary Music ]

[FORREST] I heard that Mr. Price, who lives there, is a

[FORREST] wizard.

[Thunder and Lightening]

[♪ Scary Music ]

[CARL] I don't think those exist in real life, Forrest.

[FORREST] Well, Mr. Price is.

[FORREST] He once turned a kid who knocked on his door into a

[FORREST] bowl of chicken. Noodl soup!

[♪]

[FORREST/CARL] Chicken noodle soup?

[FORREST] Chicken noodle soup!

[CARL] No way.

[SHELDON] That can't be true.

[FORREST] Of course it's true.

[FORREST] I heard it from Tonya, who heard it from Electric

[FORREST] Frederick, who heard it from his cousin, Wilmer, who

[FORREST] heard it from a very reliable source.

[♪]

[CARL] It still doesn't sound very possible.

[SHELDON] Not at all.

[LOTTA] Happy Halloween, everyone.

[LOTTA] I am the Lottabot , Halloween edition.

[CARL] That is an excellent robot costume, Lotta.

[LOTTA] Thank you.

[LOTTA] I designed and built it myself.

[FORREST] We should tell her.

[LOTTA] Tell me what?

[CARL] This rumor we just heard.

[SHELDON] But then we're spreading a rumor that may not

[SHELDON] be true.

[♪]

[FORREST] What if the rumor is true, and Lotta doesn't know

[FORREST] about it, and she gets turned into... Chicken. Noodle.

[FORREST] Soup!?

[LOTTA] I don't want to get turned into chicken noodle soup.

[LOTTA] You have to tell me.

[CARL] Okay, come close.

[♪]

[CARL] We heard that Mr. Price, who lives in the scary house on

[CARL] Fuzzytown Hill, is a scary wizard who turned a kid

[CARL] into a bowl of chicken noodle soup.

[LOTTA] I don't think I want to hear anymore.

[SHELDON] I don't think you have anything to worry about, Lotta.

[LOTTA] We probably shouldn't knock on his door anyway.

[CARL] I agree.

[SHELDON] You don't believe the rumor, do you, Carl?

[CARL] Not exactly, but why take any chances?

[ARUGULA] Hey, everyone.

[LOTTA] Tropic Sparkle!

[ARUGULA] [gasp] How did you know?

[LOTTA] She just happens to be my second favorite rainbocorn in

[LOTTA] all of Friendicorn High.

[NICO] Ow!

[ARUGULA] Watch my ears!

[LOTTA] Sorry, Nico.

[ARUGULA] Is everyone ready to go trick-or-treating?

[♪]

[NICO] Yep.

[LOTTA] Uh-huh.

[FORREST] Sure am!

[SHELDON] Yep.

[CARL] Wait, there's something we have to tell you first.

[SHELDON] Carl, we shouldn't keep spreading this rumor.

[ARUGULA] What rumor?

[LOTTA] A scary rumor about Mr. Price.

[NICO] I don't want to hear anything scary right now.

[NICO] Thank you very much.

[NICO] Let's go trick-or-treating.

[NICO] [Sigh]

[ARUGULA] I'm the head! I should be in front, Nico.

[♪]

[FORREST] Ooh! Look at all the spiders!

[ARUGULA] WA-OOF!

[NICO] There are spiders?!

[CARL] It's just spider Halloween decorations.

[CARL] Nothing to be afraid of.

[NICO] Afraid? Who said anything about being afraid?

[EVERYONE] Trick or treat!

[FORREST] No nuts, please. Can't do nuts!

[CARL] It's a Caramelon bar.

[CARL] Just what I needed for my candy wrapper collection.

[CARL] Anyone want the candy?

[ARUGULA] Ooh, I'll have it!

[ARUGULA] Melony.

[CARL] One down, three to go.

[♪]

[CARL] Four, if you've got the Super Colossal Fuzzy Chomper.

[CARL] I do not count that one because there is no way I'll

[CARL] find it on my Halloween hunt.

[FORREST] Ahhhaha! Scary!

[ARUGULA] [Gasp]

[NICO] What now?!

[CARL] Forrest was just screaming about the skeletons.

[NICO] There are skeletons?!

[FORREST] You have to see them.

[NICO] Not interested! Let's just get our candy and go.

[Knock, knock, knock]

[♪ NUT FREE CANDY JAM ]

[EVERYONE] Trick or treat!

[♪]

[EVERYONE] Thank you!

[CARL] A didgeridoodle!

[CARL] This is my lucky Halloween.

[♪]

[CARL] Two more to go!

[DYLAN] Ahhhhh!

[NICO] Forrest, stop screaming!

[DYLAN] Ahh!

[FORREST] That's not me.

[FORREST] Ahhhhhh!

[NICO] Then who is it?

[♪ drum roll ]

[ARUGULA] Oh!

[Boink]

[CARL] It's Dylan.

[CARL] What happened?

[DYLAN] I was just walking up Fuzzytown Hill when I saw Mr.

[DYLAN] Price come out the door holding a huge magic wand.

[DYLAN] [breath]

[DYLAN] Luckily, I rolled away before he could turn me into

[DYLAN] chicken noodle soup.

[FORREST] That's the rumor we heard.

[SHELDON] But we don't think it's true.

[CARL] I think it might be true.

[CARL] If everybody is saying it, there must be some truth to

[CARL] it.

[CARL] Plus, Dylan actually saw a wand.

[NICO] Okay, that's it.

[NICO] I don't want to get turned into chicken noodle soup,

[NICO] so I'm going home.

[ARUGULA] But we just started.

[SHELDON] Don't be afraid, Nico.

[SHELDON] It's just a rumor.

[NICO] First of all, I'm not afraid of anything, okay?

[NICO] So let's just go to a regular house without any

[NICO] spiders or skeletons or chicken soup-making wizards and

[NICO] get some more candy.

[NICO] Finally, a regular house.

[Knock, knock, Knock]

[♪]

[NICO] What's happening?

[Fuzzy Friends] Oooh!

[♪]

[NICO] Is that fog?

[lightning]

[NICO] Ahh! I can't take anymore!

[NICO] I'm outta here!

[NICO] [scared]

[ARUGULA] ah! Nico, come back!

[LOTTA] Where are you going?

[FORREST] I guess some kids just can't handle Halloween after

[FORREST] dark.

[CARL] [Gasp]

[squishy sounds]

[CARL] H-h-Who's there?

[♪]

[MR. KELLY] Happy Halloween!

[♪]

[CARL] A bowl of soup?

[CARL & FORREST] AAAHHHH!

[♪]

[SHELDON] Uhh... trick or treat?

[FORREST] [Breathing]

[FORREST] You see that?

[FORREST] Mr. Price must have waved his wizard's wand at him.

[♪]

[SHELDON] Mr. Price didn't do anything.

[♪]

[CARL] We saw it with our own eyes, Sheldon.

[CARL] Mr. Kelly was a bowl of chicken noodle soup.

[SHELDON] Actually, he was a bowl of ramen.

[♪]

[FORREST] Mr. Price is turning people into ramen now?

[SHELDON] It was a costume, Forrest.

[SHELDON] Mr. Kelly told us he likes to dress as his favorite

[SHELDON] foods.

[SHELDON] Remember?

[FORREST] Well, Mr. Price could still be a wizard who turns kids

[FORREST] into bowls of soup.

[SHELDON] I don't think so, Forrest.

[CARL] Well, how are we supposed to know if it's true or not?

[SHELDON] We need to investigate and find out for ourselves, once

[SHELDON] and for all.

[SHELDON] Come on!

[♪]

[ARUGULA] Nico.

[NICO] Leave me alone!

[LOTTA] We just want to make sure you're OK.

[NICO] I'm fine. Now go!

[ARUGULA] I think she may be afraid of Halloween after dark.

[NICO] For the last time, I'm not afraid!

[LOTTA] I believe you, Nico.

[Door opens]

[NICO] You do?

[LOTTA] Tell us what you do feel.

[NICO] [Sigh]

[NICO] Well, it's all just too much.

[NICO] Too many loud noises, too many things jumping out of

[NICO] nowhere.

[NICO] In the daytime you can see it all, but at night it just

[NICO] like feels like it's everywhere.

[LOTTA] Could it be that the sights and sounds of Halloween

[LOTTA] when it's dark out make you feel overwhelmed?

[NICO] Yes! That's it! Overwhelmed.

[ARUGULA] How did you know?

[LOTTA] I get overwhelmed sometimes, too.

[LOTTA] Even in the daytime.

[LOTTA] By sights and sounds and even smells.

[NICO] I guess I just can't go out trick-or-treating at night

[NICO] on Halloween.

[LOTTA] I think I have something that can help.

[CARL] Let's go to this house.

[CARL] I still need more wrappers.

[CARL/FORREST/SHELDON] Trick or treat!

[CARL] Just what I've been searching for.

[SHELDON] Excuse me, do you happen to know who lives in the

[SHELDON] house on top of the hill?

[EVIE RAND] Oh, yes, that's Mr. Price.

[EVIE RAND] He comes to my shop at least once a week.

[EVIE RAND] He seems very nice.

[SHELDON] See, he's nice and friendly.

[EVIE RAND] Yes, and he buys an awful lot of spoons.

[CARL] [Scared] W-what kind of spoons?

[EVIE RAND] Soup spoons!

[CARL/FORREST/SHELDON] Soup spoons!?!?

[♪]

[SHELDON] Come on, Carl.

[SHELDON] She said he was nice.

[CARL] She also said he buys a lot of soup spoons.

[FORREST] Probably for all that magic chicken noodle soup he

[FORREST] makes.

[SHELDON] Let's just keep investigating.

[♪]

[LOTTA] Let's see how it looks, Nico.

[♪]

[ARUGULA] Now you're the Nicobot , Halloween edition.

[LOTTA] What do you think, Nico?

[NICO] Well, I'm not really a robot fan the way that you are.

[LOTTA] I don't just wear the costume because I love robots.

[NICO] Why else would you wear it?

[LOTTA] Because the costume has lots of things built into it

[LOTTA] that help me when I get overwhelmed.

[ARUGULA] What do you mean?

[LOTTA] Try putting on the helmet.

[NICO] How can a helmet help?

[LOTTA] It has headphones built into it, so the loud sounds

[LOTTA] won't startle you.

[LOTTA] There's also a visor in case there are flashing lights.

[NICO] And that stuff helps?

[LOTTA] It helps me.

[ARUGULA] Wait!

[ARUGULA] If Nico is wearing your robot costume, what will

[ARUGULA] you go as?

[LOTTA] I was hoping I could go as the back half of my second

[LOTTA] favorite rainbocorn.

[ARUGULA] Of course.

[ARUGULA] Hey, I think it worked!

[NICO] What worked?

[LOTTA] The helmet.

[ARUGULA] There was a loud thunder sound and a sudden flash

[ARUGULA] of lightning, but it didn't overwhelm you.

[NICO] Hey, yeah!

[NICO] This is amazing.

[NICO] I get candy without feeling freaked out.

[NICO] Let's do some more trick or treating!

[CARL] Mmm, we're getting so close to Mr. Price's house.

[SHELDON] Trick or treat!

[CARL] Whoa, a pickle brittle bar.

[FORREST] Pickle brittle is nut free, so...

[SHELDON] Excuse me. Can you tell us anything about Mr.

[SHELDON] Price?

[RAG DOLL LADY] Oh, Mr. Price, he's a great neighbor.

[RAG DOLL LADY] He always takes the packages in for me and helps

[RAG DOLL LADY] me shovel whenever it snows.

[SHELDON] He sounds very kind and thoughtful.

[RAG DOLL LADY] Oh, yes.

[RAG DOLL LADY] The only complaint I would have is

[RAG DOLL LADY] sometimes the chicken sounds are kind of loud.

[CARL/SHELDON/FORREST] Ch-ch-ch-chicken sounds?

[SHELDON] His neighbor said he's very nice and helpful.

[SHELDON] She didn't say anything about being a wizard

[SHELDON] who turns kids into chicken noodle soup.

[CARL] No, he's a wizard who turns kids into chickens.

[SHELDON] What?

[FORREST] How else do you explain the chicken sounds?

[SHELDON] There must be a logical explanation, and I'm

[SHELDON] going to find it.

[CARL] Well, I already collected all four of my candy wrappers,

[CARL] so you can count me out!

[FORREST] Me too!

[♪]

[♪ Spooky Melody ]

[CARL] You know what?

[CARL] Sheldon is my best friend.

[CARL] I can't leave him.

[CARL] He wouldn't leave me.

[CARL] I'm going with him.

[FORREST] Well, if you're in, I'm in.

[♪ Spooky Melody Jam ]

[♪]

[NICO] Do you think those bats are going to start flapping when

[NICO] we walk by?

[ARUGULA] Maybe.

[LOTTA] We don't have to go into this house, but I did build

[LOTTA] something into the costume in case I got nervous.

[NICO] What is it?

[LOTTA] Check the chest compartment.

[♪]

[LOTTA] When I'm feeling nervous, I take a deep breath

[LOTTA] and squeeze that squeezy stress ball, and that helps me

[LOTTA] calm down.

[♪]

[NICO] Hey, this is making me feel very calm.

[NICO] I think I'm ready to walk past the bats now.

[♪]

[Bats screeching] [♪]

[ARUGULA] You did it!

[NICO] The squeezy stress ball really worked!

[NICO] Thanks, Lotta.

[♪]

[FORREST] I can't believe we're actually here.

[CARL] Me neither.

[Scary sound]

[CARL/FORREST/SHELDON] Ahh!

[CARL] There he is!

[♪]

[SHELDON] You don't have to hide from him.

[♪]

[LILAH] Maybe we shouldn't.

[LILAH] I heard he turned a kid into a tuna sandwich.

[RAMON] Oh, yeah?

[RAMON] Well, I heard he turns kids into Brussels sprouts.

[LILAH/RAMON] Brussels sprouts! Eww!

[♪]

[SHELDON] Did you hear that? Do you know what it means?

[CARL] It means he not only turns kids into soup and

[CARL] chickens, he also turns them into sandwiches!

[SHELDON] No.

[SHELDON] It means that kids are making up different stories

[SHELDON] about Mr. Price, and that's a pretty good sign that

[SHELDON] none of them are true.

[♪]

[CARL] But what about the chickens and soup spoons?

[♪]

[SHELDON] Maybe Mr. Price just likes chickens and soup spoons.

[SHELDON] That's more believable than this silly rumor.

[♪]

[CARL] Forrest, come on.

[CARL] We can't let Sheldon be turned into soup or sandwiches

[CARL] or Brussels sprouts.

[Chicken sounds]

[FORREST] Ahh! Chickens! That were maybe once kids!

[NICO] This costume is amazing, Lotta.

[NICO] Rubber chickens?

[CARL] [Groaning]

[MR. PRICE] Hey, are you all right?

[CARL] Ahh! Don't turn me into a bowl of chicken noodle soup!

[MR. PRICE] Why would I turn you into a bowl of soup?

[CARL] Well, Mr. Price, there's a rumor going around that you're

[CARL] a scary wizard who turns people into bowls of chicken

[CARL] noodle soup.

[MR. PRICE] Well, as you can see, I'm definitely not a

[MR. PRICE] wizard.

[MR. PRICE] I am a certified public accountant.

[MR. PRICE] And I'm not even a scary one.

[CARL] So the rumor isn't true about turning kids into chickens

[CARL] or tuna sandwiches?

[MR. PRICE] No, but now I know why I haven't had many

[MR. PRICE] trick-or-treaters today.

[MR. PRICE] The rumors must have scared everybody off.

[Chicken sounds]

[MR. PRICE] Well, Happy Halloween, kids.

[SHELDON] Now do you see he's not a scary wizard?

[CARL] Yeah, and I feel badly that hardly anyone went

[CARL] trick-or-treating at his house.

[FORREST] Maybe there's something we can do to make him

[FORREST] feel better?

[CARL] Hmm, there is.

[NICO] Here, squeeze this if you're feeling nervous, Carl.

[CARL] controls.

[CARL] What do you collect?

[MR. PRICE] Well, you've already seen my rubber chicken

[MR. PRICE] collection.

[FORREST] And lately, I've been working on a unique swim noodle

[FORREST] collection.

[shed door opens] [♪]

[CARL] Whoa.

[NICO] Wow!

[MR. PRICE] And I also love to collect antique soup spoons.

[MR. PRICE] I like to call myself the lizard who yearns for

[MR. PRICE] chickens, noodles, and soup spoons.

[SHELDON] That's it.

[SHELDON] That must be how the rumor started.

[CARL] How?

[SHELDON] Someone must have heard Mr. Price say he's a

[SHELDON] lizard who yearns for chickens, noodles, and soup

[SHELDON] spoons, and thought he said he's a wizard who turns

[SHELDON] kids to chicken noodle soup.

[MR. PRICE] Oh, my. I think you might be right!
