[grunts] Aw. My radish.

Down at Fraggle Rock.

[all gasping, exclaiming]

[Gobo] What are these statues?

What is this place?

- Well...
- [Fraggles scream]

...previously in Fraggle Rock,

we dug down deep beneath the surface
in search of a way to save the radish.

- Mm-hmm.
- Yeah.

But the Gorgs raked up a dust storm,
we had to hide down here,

and after a cathartic cry,

we discovered this mysterious hall
filled with dioramas and cave paintings.

And that's where we are now. [chuckling]

Thanks, Barry. I... I was sort of meaning
where are we, not what just happened.

- Yeah. Mm-hmm.
- Yeah.

Okay. [grunts]

- Yeah. [grunts]
- Oh. Oh.

- [skittering]
- [Fraggles scream]

What was that?

Who's there?

- [skittering]
- [all scream]

- [Lanford whimpers]
- What do we do?

I've never been in a situation
like this before.

- But I know who has.
- Huh?

Gobo, who do you always turn to
for inspiration?

Mmm, yes. Me.
But do I have it in me at the moment?

No. [chuckles]

I'm talking about a story
from an absolute Fraggle Rock legend.

Are you talking about...

Oh, you know I'm talking about...

[both] The story of Uncle Matt
discovering the radish! [chuckles]

[groans] How deep you gotta dig
to get away from that guy? [sighs]

[Wembley, Gobo clearing throat]

- [Wembley] Focus.
- [both] Yeah.

- [sighs]
- A long time ago, there he was,

- in uncharted territory like we are now.
- Uh-huh. Uh-huh.

[Gobo] The spirit of adventure
was calling his name, and that name was...

Uncle Traveling Matt. Good to be with you.

[sniffs] Yes.

Wait. Long, flowing hair?
That doesn't sound like Matt at all.

[shushes] Let history unfold.

[groans]

[Gobo] He was in a mysterious cave,
just like us right now.

[Wembley]
But did that stop him? No. He forged on.

[humming]

[chuckles]

[gasps]

[gasps]

- [chuckles]
- I'm gonna get ya. [chuckles]

[Wembley]
Danger was no match for this explorer.

Whoa. Whoo-hoo!

- Not today, beast.
- [whip cracks]

What? Wait.

[straining, grunts]

[Wembley] And his bravery sure paid off...

- [grunts]
- [screams]

[Gobo] ...because he discovered something
no Fraggle had ever seen before.

[grunts] I've discovered something
that no Fraggle has seen before.

[Wembley, Gobo]
The age of the radish had begun.

[chuckling]

Matt's discovery of the radish
changed everything.

Soup-wise? We're talking paradigm shift.

Let's find inspiration
in my uncle Matt's story

and discover a way

- to bring the radishes back.
- Yeah.

And we can start right here
by exploring this cave.

[all] Yeah.

- Oh, wow.
- [Red] Okay. Huh.

[gasps] Oh, wow. It's so realistic.
It's like it's alive.

- [screams]
- [screams]

[all screaming]

[sighs] Are you trying to scare us?

The rule is if you're trying to scare us,
you got to tell us, eh?

- We're just lost Fraggles.
- [Fraggles] Hmm.

That's what we're called.
The Lost Fraggles.

- [Fraggles gasp]
- [grunts]

Come out, come out,
all you Lost Fraggles there.

It's all safe now.

[gasping]

Welcome to a place
we like to call Lost Fraggle Rock.

- Hit it!
- [Fraggles gasp]

[upbeat music playing]

♪ Underneath the rock today ♪

- We're Leader.
- Wrigley.

- Soupie.
- Run and Jump.

- [cheers]

- [Fraggles] Huh?
- Lost under a rock.

- Wow. Catchy song alert.
- [Mokey] Hmm.

Yeah, there's something
spiritually familiar about it.

[groans]

[Fraggles] Hmm.

- [barking]
- Oh, hey, bud.

Did you manage to bark at that lawn mower
or was it already gone?

[growls, gasps]

[exclaims]

- [panting]
- Oh, sorry, Sprock.

- The pool's not for swimming today.
- [whimpers]

- It's sitting in for the ocean...
- [barks]

...so I can test
this model of an offshore wind turbine.

Ooh.

If we can find a way to build
floating turbines

that can withstand
the harsh weather out there,

we could really generate
a lot of clean power.

- [barks]
- It's good for the environment,

and I like to believe that
dolphins think they look cool.

- Hmm.
- Okay. Got to go to work.

[gasps, barks]

That's right. Sustainable energy research

and slinging Yo-h*-h* Fries
at The Pirate Diner.

- [barks]
- Some might say I wear a lot of hats.

Hmm? [barking]

No, Sprock.

That setup has to stay exactly as it is
for hours so I can get an average reading.

You promise you won't mess with it
while I'm gone?

[barks]

I'll be back later and we can watch
tugboat videos.

- [gasps, howls]
- I love you. Bye!

Huh? Ooh.

[humming, gasps] Hmm?

[sniffs, barks]

[whimpering]

[sighs]

[shrieking]

[groans]

- [chuckles] Your uncle would be so proud.
- Oh.

His nephew and his nephew's best buds
discovering Lost Fraggles.

[chuckles] Well, they've been surviving
down here a long time.

- Yeah.
- Maybe they'll have some ideas

about healing the Gorgs' garden, eh?

I just hope we connect with them.
I mean, they're so different from us.

- Hi!
- Whoa!

I'm Run and Jump. Let's go run and jump
somewhere super fast.

- Yeah!
- [both chuckle, cheer]

And I'm Wrigley.
Uh, do you Fraggles wanna play?

Or should we sing?
Or we could just chat or smile?

- [gasps] Chat and smile. [chuckles]
- Yeah.

Come on, after a big day of travel?

[both] It's clearly soup time.

- [both gasp]
- [Boober groans]

Okay, maybe they're not that different.

Nice to meet you all.
I'm Cotterpin. Cotterpin Doozer.

[Lost Fraggles laughing]

Quit joshing. Doozers are long extinct.

But I am a Doozer. We're still around.

Okay. Soup time.

[groans] Love this guy.

Anyone wanna go see the farm
where we get our ingredients?

Wait, you have an underground farm?

Yeah, I wanna see that.

- Tag.
- [both chuckling, cheering]

- [chuckles] Oh, bud, you were so right...
- [chuckles]

...to remind me of how
my uncle Matt discovered radishes.

- [groans]
- It turned everything around.

- Yeah. [chuckles]
- [chuckles]

[Wembley, Wrigley humming]

- Whoo!
- [Wembley chuckles]

[whimpers]
No Lost Fraggle counterpart for me, huh?

- Well, at least I have you, Lanford.
- [exclaims]

We'll be one-of-a-kind's together.

- [exclaims]
- [chuckles]

[sputters]

[both shouting]

Tumble. Tumble. Tumble.
Tumble. Tumble. Tumble.

Ugh. That dust storm is still really...
[straining] ...bad

[sighs]

I don't get it, Son.

We listened to our great Gorg-cestors
without questioning

- or updating their methods.
- Yep.

Well, we used Gorg-A-Max to grow
biggerer and morer berries

- than we could ever possibly eat.
- Sure did.

- And we had a ton of waste.
- Mm-hmm.

Where did we go wrong?

I-I thought we followed the instructions.

Ah, word for word.

- Like... Like right here.
- Yeah.

"Chapter Three. What not to do"...

- Oh, boy.
- [gasps]

-"What not to do"?
- [groans]

Pa!

Oh, the Gorgs of the past wanted us
to learn from their mistakes...

[stammers] ...but we didn't. And now,
history is repeating itself.

- Oh, boy.
- [groans, cries]

I wish your Ma was here,

and not on some spontaneous walk
that has nothing to do with me. [groans]

I told them not to rake the garden,
but did they listen to me?

Do they ever? No.

- So, I took a walk, and here I am.
- Uh-huh.

[sighs]
Garlic cakes, I can't stop yapping.

I don't even know your name.

One moment, doll. I don't want to
deprive them of the pleasure.

- We're late. We're late. [panting]
- [panting]

You are in the presence of...

The all-knowing...

All-seeing...

[both] Trash Heap. Nyah!

You can call me Marjory.

Oh. Sorry we're late, giant ladies.

Lost track of time sniffing stuff.

- Yeah.
- [both laugh]

Well, I am in awe of you, Marjory.

Oh, why? 'Cause I'm an all-knowing
pile of garbage connected to all things?

No. 'Cause those rat guys

- show you so much respect.
- Mm-hmm. [chuckles]

I never get that at home.

Makes me feel powerless.

Well, listen carefully,
for I am a vessel of truth.

- You are a queen...
- Ooh.

...descended from
the great Gorg queens of old.

Oh, my.

- This is gonna be good.
- Yeah, I ain't going nowhere.

[both chuckle]

[both humming]

[both chuckle]

So, yeah. Then we remembered that Gobo,

he's the nephew of the first ever Fraggle
to discover radishes.

- Mmm.
- [both chuckle]

I guess you wouldn't know about radishes.
They look kind of like...

- Like that.
- [gasps]

[Wembley] Like, exactly like that.

- Hmm, yeah. That's a radish.
- Wha...

We haven't had them in a long, long time
but our ancestors once did. [chuckles]

But Matt discovered the radish.

Nah, you can't discover something
that's already existed. Can you?

So, our history was wrong?

Mm-hmm.

Uncle Matt didn't really
discover the radish.

- Mm-mmm.
- [whimpers]

But it's been giving Gobo
so much strength.

- [chuckles]
- [groans]

I've gotta keep him
from learning the truth.

- Wembley.
- [both shriek]

[Gobo] There you are, best friend.

The farm was so incredible,
I had to tell you about it immediately.

Yay. [chuckles]

Hey, can you show me the farm

and never be out of my sight
for the rest of time? Sound good?

Uh, sure. [chuckles]
Well, let's go check it out, eh?

Mm-hmm.

Uh, are you gonna... you gonna come or...

I'll be right there with you. [chuckles]

[shrieks, sighs]

Okay. [chuckles, sighs]

- [both straining]
- [panting]

Oh, boy. [groans]

[whimpering]

[shrieks]

[humming]

Sprocket?

Huh?

Did you...

[whimpers]

...miss me while I was at work?

[sighs, barks]

All right, let's check the data.

I am so excited... [scoffs]
...I'm not even gonna change.

Also, I secretly love this outfit.

[barks]

[gasps] Oh, my goggles.

- Look at the numbers.
- [whimpers]

- These are too good to be true.
- Uh-oh.

Did anything happen to the pool
while I was away?

[whimpers] No.

Well, then that means... [gasps]

...I just designed the most stable

and efficient offshore wind turbine
of all time.

[gasps, chuckles] I need to report this
to my colleagues right away. [gasps]

[gasps, whimpering]

Give me the President of Science.
I've got the numbers, ma'am.

What? The numbers are wrong
and I'm being sent to science jail?

[gasps]

Sprocket,
I thought I had the correct data.

If only someone had told me
the real story.

[howls]

[whimpering]

This farm has everything we need

- and nothing more.
- [Gobo] Yeah.

[Leader]
We got your light, got your hydro.

- That's the drip-drip irrigating the crop.
- [Gobo] Nice.

[Leader] Got your mushroom,
your gushroom, your shushroom.

- Ah, what? Ah.
- [Leader] That's a tuber.

- Put 'em together, you got goo-tine.
- Mm-hmm.

- Ah.
- [Soupie] Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. [chuckles]

[swallows, grunts]

- That is really hard to eat. [chuckles]
- Yeah.

But, hey, the system here is wowee.

We're looking for a way
to heal our own soil

and get back to growing radi...

Hey! What's that stuff
he's putting on the crops?

Let's talk about that and nothing else.

- That's composted food waste.
- Huh.

It decomposes and creates
yummy nutrients for our soil to thrive.

- Mm-hmm.
- [Gobo] Compost, huh?

You think that that could
help fix the soil and regrow rad...

[groans] Uh, spontaneous music break!

[humming]

- Hmm. Huh.
- [vocalizes, humming]

- [Wembley chuckles]
- Huh.

He just never listens.

Unblocking stubborn ears
is a job for a queen.

And what are you?

A queen?

Is that a question or a statement?

- Here it comes.
- Mm-hmm.

[gasps] I'm a queen.

- Yes! A queen rules...
- [rats cheering, laughing]

...with connection to the Earth

- and grace and wisdom.
- Oh?

- That's your secret sauce.
- [gasps]

- [both gasp]

[Fraggles chattering, laughing]

not having a Lost Fraggle twin.

[sighs] I am Zen. I am Zen.

I am all alone!

- At least they believe you exist.
- [sighs]

Oh, hello, as-yet-to-be-named creature.

[groans]

[both groan]

Thank you all for sharing so much.

You know, after the dust storm,
we felt really lost until we met you.

- Dust storm, eh? What a coincidence.
- [Gobo] Mmm.

- Our ancestors fled a dust storm too!
- Mmm.

- But we lost everything from up there.
- Mmm.

Even our favorite food.

- Go get it. Mm-hmm.
- [humming]

[gasps]

[Leader]
We made this statue to commemorate it.

I give you the red wonder of
a forgotten age.

The greatest discovery of our time.
The rad...

[shrieks, chuckles]

[Lost Fraggles murmuring]

- The radish?
- Huh?

[groans]

Uh, the little one was the model
we used to make the big one.

Wait,
but if your ancestors had radishes, then...

my uncle Matt didn't discover them?

[cries] I'm sorry, Gobo.
I never should have let you find out.

[sighs] I'm not mad
that you let me find out.

I just wish you'd told me
as soon as you knew.

I mean, how can we learn from the past
if we don't know the whole story?

- So, what is the whole story?
- Yeah.

A long, long time ago,
radishes were plentiful.

Until, that is, the Gorgs of old
started using a chemical in their garden

that scorched the earth
and caused a nasty dust storm.

Oh, the Gorgs of today
just did the same thing!

History tends to repeat itself
when lessons aren't learned.

- Mmm. Preach!
- Mmm.

[Leader] So, our ancestors
were forced deep underground.

But before they left,
they put down some compost

and planted the last of their radish seeds
as an act of hope.

They established
a sustainable life down here

and never returned to the above land.

It was always assumed
the radish seeds failed.

But they didn't fail. They worked.

The radishes that Gobo's uncle Matt found
were actually descended

from the seeds
the Lost Fraggle ancestors planted.

- Yeah.
- Which means...

The compost worked
to heal the scorched land.

Which means...

- It could work again.
- Yeah!

I haven't made
my last batch of radish soup.

[chuckles] And other benefits.

[chuckles] Learning the whole story just
gave us the key to repairing the garden!

[all cheering]

And we could power the whole thing with
renewable wind power I've been chasing.

[laughing]

At least I don't have to feel sad
saying goodbye to my Fraggle twin

since I don't have one.

- Come on, Lanford, it's time to go.
- [grunting]

- [screaming]

Lanford, it's time to go!

Oh, hey, everyone.

[all] Oh, hey, Slowpokey!

I sort of got lost meditating upside down.

What did I miss?

- Hmm.
- Uh...

"And with unprecedented stability
and energy output,

I believe I've made a breakthrough
in offshore turbine technology."

[squealing] Okay, when I hit send,
we're one step closer to making herstory.

[chuckles] And here we go!

- [howls, barks]
- Whoa! What is going on?

Sprocket, did something happen?

- [whimpers]
- [sighs] Okay. Tell me the whole story.

- [groans]
- Mm-hmm.

[whimpers, sighs]

- [mumbles]
- Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

- [mumbles, imitates zooming noise]
- Mm-hmm.

- [mumbling]
- Mm-hmm. Mmm.

- Oh.
- [screams]

- [whimpers, sobs]
- Whoa. Okay. Uh-huh.

So, you messed with the fan...

[wails]

...then fell in the pool
and that's why it got that reading?

[wails]

[sighs] Well, that is disappointing.

- But imagine if I didn't know.
- Hmm?

- That would not have been great.
- Hmm.

- And you know what they say, Sprockie.
- Hmm.

- Knowledge is power.
- Hmm.

Even when
that knowledge feels inconvenient.

[wails]

[chuckles] Now, come on.
Help me put this back together.

And when we get the actual reading,
we can play Marco Polo.

- [gasps]
- What?

You think I'm gonna set up a kiddie pool
inside and not get in?

[exclaiming]

[laughs] I love you.

[grunts]

[whimpers, sobs] I miss all the green
in the garden.

- Yeah.
- The fruits. The vegetables.

The plants that made me go "Achoo!"

- Oh, I miss Ma!
- Yeah.

The way she was always walking
around the garden...

- Yeah.
- ...being here...

- [wails] Yeah.
- ...etcetera.

- I don't know what to do.
- No.

- I'm all out of kingly ideas! Oh!
- Yeah!

[Ma Gorg] Well, then I'll lead you.

- [gasps]
- Huh?

Hi. [chuckles]

[both gasp]

You are looking at...

The very capable...

Kind and soulful...

[Gunge] Whip smart...

[both] Queen of the Gorgs! Nyah!

[laughs]

Wow!

Right, so, we can start with
the compost system over there.

And we can put the turbine over there
to power it. [chuckles]

I'll draw up some blueprints
and we'll be in business.

[Gobo] Yeah. [chuckles]

And to think, we couldn't do this
without knowing the whole story.

- Yeah.
- [Red] Yeah.

Now, let's turn history into a bright,
radish-filled future.

[all cheering]

Okay, I'll say it.
I kinda liked the goo-tine.

- [groaning]
- Really?

Ugh, I can still taste it.

[Fraggles groaning, mumbling]

- [Junior Gorg] Oh.
- [Ma Gorg squeals]

- Oh. You look beautiful. Yeah. Yeah.
- [Pa Gorg chuckles]
