[Vampirina] "Hauntley Girls".

[laughter] Come back here!

Gotcha!

[indistinct chatter]

Mm. Nothing like
chasing after your breakfast

to work up an appetite.

-Mmm, yum.
-Agreed.

[Gregoria]
Morning, Ghoul Girls.

-How was the scream-over?
-Well, you know,

the one that some of us
weren't invited to.

Which is fine, because I had, uh,

some reading to catch up on, yes.

Or I guess the reading
had to catch up on me!

Aah!

[laughs] Sorry, Demi.

This sleepover was
just for the Ghoul Girls.

We'll make sure to save you
a pillow for next time.

-[gasps] You mean it?
-Of course.

Oh! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

-[clock chimes]
-[squawking]

My mom will be here any minute
to pick me up.

-Where are you going?
-Roller-skating.

It's our Saturday tradition.
We do it every weekend.

My mom is going to pick me up
for our weekend tradition too.

We're going skydiving.

Oh, my mom's a professional.

She likes to do really scary stuff.

I just cheer her on
from a really comfortable bench.

[chuckles] We're a good team that way.

Wow, those both sound like
terror-ific plans.

Do you and your mom
have any plans today, Vee?

Well, we used to have
tons of fun monstery weekend traditions

back in Transylvania,

like flights through the monster mall,
our ghoul-nastics team,

even a weekly mummy-daughter
book club.

But now that we're in Pennsylvania,
we haven't done any of that.

I guess we haven't had time
to find our thing yet.

Well, we don't really have

mummy-daughter book clubs
in Pennsylvania,

but you and your mom could do a
mother-daughter book club here.

My mom used to host them
all the time.

Poppy, you're a mad scientist!

I mean, genius. I'll go ask my mom.

Just wait, we're going to be
the ghoulish hostesses

with the mostest.

[Oxana] Oh, a mother-daughter book club.

What a wonderful idea, batkins.

I really missed our spookifly-popular club
back home.

Though the reading
will probably go a lot slower,

since we don't have
a three-eyed monster.

She was quite the speedy storyteller.

[laughs] That's true.

But don't worry. It's going to be perfect.

I'm so excited to have a weekend
tradition with you again, Mama.

Me too, my sweet little bat.

I have to admit, I'm feeling a little
batty about hosting again.

I just got back from my vacation

so I'm feeling relaxed
and ready to read.

That's good, because...

we got one of Pennsylvania's
most popular books:

The Field of Mount Laurels.

Um, Vee, we already
read that book last year.

gargoyle gray tea instead?

from your shelf here then?

-Wait, Miss Peepleson!

Is everything okay, Mama?

I'm not sure.
