01x09 - Episode 9

Post by bunniefuu »

KATHRYN EISMAN: We all have
our own life journeys,

our troubles and insecurities.

STEPH: I mean, I just
identify myself as a mum.

I've lost who Steph is.

JULIE: I've just
given up on myself.

CHRISTIANE: I want to be seen
for my personality,

not as this frumpy mum.

KATHRYN: They're often
reflected externally,

in the clothes we wear,

clothes that don't reflect

the best, most authentic
versions of ourselves...

And I clearly see you have
a less-is-more approach

when it comes to material.

Yes, definitely need nipple
covers for these dresses.

KATHRYN: ..which impacts
how the world sees us...

Look in the mirror and say,

alright, how would
a confident man dress?

..and ultimately,
in how we see ourselves...

So you want to BE
on an adventure in a tent,

but instead, you're
dressing yourself like a tent.

..affecting
the choices we make...

By dressing like a little girl,

you stay stuck there.

..and the actions we take.

Are you ready to stop waiting?

Yes, yes. Yes, I am.

Three months ago,
we asked the question

can changing your clothes
really change your life?

Oh, my God. (LAUGHS)

I look 20. (LAUGHS)

I actually feel like a woman.

What do you see
when you look in the mirror?

A different person?

Just how much has
this external transformation

improved the entire lives
of this group of people?

Well, tonight, we will find
out.

We're about to have
some fun today,

because you want to know why?

Today's the reunion!

I'm so, so excited.

Yeah, I'm really excited
to see Izzy's transformation.

So, yeah, hopefully
Kathryn is stoked with

the direction I've gone today.

For the reunion,
it's really exciting

because I'm not
telling them what to wear.

This is my outfit I bought.

It is super cute.

Yeah. I cannot wait
for everyone to see me in this.

Just been gone through
a fair bit of the clothes

that I've been given.

And I'm happy with
what I've come up with.

It's pretty sparkly.

I got my nails done.

I haven't picked close for
them.

I have no idea
what they're going to show up.

We're all individuals
and so different,

have our own personalities.

So, yeah,
really intrigued to see

what she's...
what she's done for everyone.

Have they gone back to
the old version of themselves?

Have they progressed even
further than when I left them?

Yes, everyone's had
a physical change,

but I think I'm more tuned
into how everyone's feeling,

how... this, for them,

has changed
what's going on inside.

Looking forward to getting
there and seeing everyone.

Feeling pretty damn good. So...

See you at the reunion.

(INDISTINCT GREETINGS)

I thought it was
really important

to bring them all back
into the same space,

reunite the group...

..to see how far
their friends have gone.

Party people in the house!

Not only is it
a surprise for me,

but it's going to be
a huge surprise for each other,

to walk into that room
and look around and see

what has transpired
since this process began.

Hi, guys!

(CHEERING)

Incredible!

Lovely to see you all.

Walking into this room
and seeing Izzy...

What? Oh, my goodness me!

..in this pale-pink
sequin crop-top dress -

I mean, looking
extraordinary...

There's no black.
There is no black.

..and seeing Christina

looking glamorous
and feminine...

(ALL LAUGH)

..and Latham looking free...

Look, at you!

..it's a very exciting moment.

(INDISTINCT)

I'm really, really proud
of them.

Now, guys, I'd like to invite
you all to find your seats.

(INDISTINCT CHATTER)

I want to thank each of you

for opening your hearts
and your minds,

and - perhaps
most terrifying of all -

your wardrobes to me.

(LAUGHTER)

Well, the last time we were
all together in a room,

I asked you to write a first
impression of each other.

Take a good look
at the people in the room

and write down a word

that describes
who you think they are.

These first impressions
were written anonymously,

and we encouraged people

to be as truthful as possible.

But that also means that
it's going to be hard to hear.

Tonight, I will finally reveal

what everyone's first
impression of each other was.

But not just that.

I'm also going to
have them write down

their lasting impressions
of each other.

Whether we like it or not,

first impressions
are made by strangers

within a 10th of a second.

So I'd like you
to write a new word

to describe the people
you see in front of you,

as you see them now.

Let's call these
lasting impressions.

When I share those
first impressions

and the lasting impressions,

I will show them that changing
the way the world sees you

by changing the way
you see yourself IS possible.

And they're going to
hear it all tonight.

Izzy.

There is a bit of colour
on your hands.

Yes.

And then look at your neck.
That's... What is that?

- Is that a...?
- It's a bear.

A bear,
with the teeth and fangs.

And then... Wow.

So you're wearing all black.

And I think
you've created this exterior

that sends a message

of kind of darkness
and scariness, in a way.

High school was nasty.

It was bad. (SNIFFLES)

So I did what I did to myself

because getting a tattoo
made me feel something.

So you turned your body
into armour?

Yeah.

What would you like to
change in your life?

I wish people
would see me for me,

not see this outside of me.

And then you won't be so
scared.

And then you won't have to
look so scary

to protect yourself.

100%.

- Yeah?
- Yeah.

Izzy, come and take a look
at your transformation.

Oh, my God. (LAUGHS)

Oh... Wow.

You know,
letting go of the darkness

has just changed me
in such a positive way.

I feel beautiful.

I haven't felt that
in a very long time.

- Izzy.
- Hi.

Stand up. Hi, darling.

- (APPLAUSE)
- Wow!
- Izzy, Izzy, Izzy!

That outfit deserves
a round of applause.

Unbelievable.

Would you like to hear
your first impression?

Of course.

The first impressions were...

Oh, yeah.

Looks like the Goth girl
from Mean Girls.

Thanks, guys.

(LAUGHTER)

You know, this can be a really
challenging process, Izzy.

What was the most difficult
part of your transformation?

The hardest part has been
stepping out of my comfort
zone.

I remember, from the first time
I saw the rack...

Oh, my God.

I want to hear
how you're feeling.

Just very... uncomfortable.

I'm very overwhelmed. Um...

I just...

..don't feel comfortable
in that.

Everything I saw on that, to
me, I just went,

"I can't see myself in that."

That moment when
I took those clothes

and was going towards
that change room,

and knowing that I was putting
on something that

I, personally, would never
pick for myself,

I felt very intimidated
on how it was going to be.

That was really intense
on myself.

I didn't feel comfortable
in my skin.

It can hurt a bit
when you do something

outside of your comfort zone.

It's literally stretching you
out of a place

where you have been
somewhat happily sitting.

And then it becomes normal,

and then it
doesn't hurt anymore.

And you just got to go through
the growing pains,

and you did it!

And the result is
pretty spectacular.

Would you like to hear
your lasting impressions?

Yes.

Stunning.

- Love it.
- Izzy!

Yeah, stunning!

When you hear
those three new words

describing how they perceive
you

in his outfit, in this
new version of yourself,

how does that make you feel?

Makes you feel like

they're actually seeing who I
am on the inside not the
outside.

To look past my own
insecurities and go forward
with confidence,

and that's what this
has given me, is confidence.

Do you feel confident right
now?

- Yeah, girl. Of course.
- (LAUGHTER)

- Yeah. You better.
- Yeah.

Yeah. You look amazing.

So, I'm so proud of you.

- Thank you.
- So proud.

Guys, please give Izzy
a round of applause.

(APPLAUSE)

ROSIE: I want to feel, like,
sexy and empowered,

but at the same time,
there's so much more to me.

And I think this is

the beginning
of a new chapter for me.

Rosie, please stand.

When I look at you
in this very, very sexy number,

and I see this
glamorous creation,

and then I also see
the girl who created her.

It's a shield.

It's a very sexy,
fabulously glamorous shield.

- But it's also a disguise.
- Yeah.

But why do you think
you need to go so extreme,

in terms of creating
something that

is so different to who
you feel you are as a person?

I guess rejection, isn't it?

Because it's own really says
who you are and they reject
you,

they're really rejecting you.

It's not someone else
or the cover. It's you.

And they saying
YOU'RE not good enough.

But the best parts of you,

you've kind of hidden really,
really well, haven't you?

I'm ready to move forward

and be perceived as I am,

not my filter.

Rosie, it's time to
really reveal yourself.

Oh, wow! Boss. Babe.

I just feel very sophisticated
and kind of chic.

I feel empowered.

This journey has given me
a new sense of sexy,

but in the best way possible,

so that my true personality
can come out

and who I am can shine.

Rosie, please stand.

(APPLAUSE)

Your first impressions were...

Sorry. I need a second.

That hurt your feelings?

Yeah, really horrible.

Because I know
what a good person,

and what a good heart I have,
and I know how hard I work.

And that's
the whole point of this,

is the fact that
you are none of those things.

And...

..whilst you can let the world
discover it one-on-one,

as they get to meet you
and get to know you,

or you can just save a lot
of that rebellion

and let people see
what you really are,

if you dress as you really are,
and people just see it.

What did you learn about
yourself during this process?

I learned that like I can
change my style and still feel
good.

I feel like this has helped me,
in the sense of, like,

I'm still being sexy,
but I'm not showing everything.

But it's still
drawing people in more

to get to know me for me.

Being sexy is a wonderful
thing, and I would be
devastated

if I ever saw you
covered head to toe.

But it's about balancing that
with the other qualities

that you want the world to see
that are there.

Your lasting impressions -

I think you're going to
like these.

What do you think
the whole world can see?

And more importantly,
how do you feel about yourself?

I want to be me.

I just want to do that in a bit
of a different way, obviously.

I'm so happy that
you have maintained

the parts of yourself
that you love so much,

and you're showing parts
that you'd hidden.

So, thank you
for being part of this.

We're really proud of you.

(APPLAUSE)

When I look at your outfit,
I see someone who

isn't expressing
that much personality here,

isn't having as much fun
as they would like to have.

Can you explain to me
your necklace?

I bought this...

..10 years ago, after...

..after I got divorced.

It was kind of, at the time,

a symbol to open new doors.

I would like,
from this experience,

for you to feel
truly in love with yourself.

And then the doors will open.

You won't even need the key.

You look spectacular.

Oh, wow!

I love it.

This outfit
speaks of the new Lauren.

I feel more elevated,

like this is
what I'm stepping into -

a completely different version
of myself.

- Lauren.
- Kathryn.

(APPLAUSE)

Now, that dress you're wearing,
I didn't pick that for you.

No, you did not.

I did this myself.

We went shopping. It was fun.

I had a little buddy
come with me,

and for the first time
in a really long time,

I enjoyed trying things on.

Now, when the group
first met you,

their impression of you was...

..polite.

Insecure.

- And timid.
- Oh, OK.

Now this process
is tough for everyone

because we have to confront
things and ideas and beliefs

we've held for a very long
time.

What was the hottest thing
for you?

I just have never felt that...

..yeah, I was worthy
of people's time.

But...

..that's changing.

While I am emotional,

it is certainly not
from being sad or upset.

It's, um, being overwhelmed.

Would you like to know
your lasting impression?

Yes.

Your lasting impressions
have been...

Ooh.

- Thanks, guys.
- (LAUGHTER)

Lauren, what three words
would YOU use to describe

how you feel in your dress
in this very moment?

Evolving.

Important and worthy.

So, you know, that's a big one.

It's been a journey.

KATHRYN: And it will
continue to be a journey.

And this is just the first
step.

And I would love everyone

to give you a huge
round of applause.

(APPLAUSE)

Stepping out of my comfort zone

and just dressing
a little bit feminine,

it's freeing, in a way -
nothing to be afraid of,

nothing to be ashamed of.

Latham, your
first impressions were...

KATHRYN: Jess.

Your first impressions were...

(GASPS) That is cool.

My heart's beating
really fast right now.

I think the transformation

is definitely showing
the side of me

that I haven't seen before.

Your lasting impressions
were...

And I love this one.

What was the most difficult
part of this transformation for
you?

Being vulnerable and being open
about how I feel about things.

Really had to dig in deep

to really think about how I
feel about my own clothes,

and how I show up as well.

The clothes that you wear

definitely is a catalyst
for that transformation,

and it's just a beginning.

- (APPLAUSE)
- JESS: Thank you.

Ross.

Your first impressions were...

It's like colourful,
but not bright, crazy.

Look in the mirror now and I
see a totally different person.

This is the real me.

Would you like to hear
your lasting impression?

Absolutely.

Uh-huh.

Oh, yeah.

(LAUGHTER)

What confidence do you think
this has given you

in terms of the next venture,
which is dating?

I certainly feel like
I can get out there.

I know what I want now,

and know what I look like
and I know my standard.

Well, guys, can you please
give Ross a round of applause?

- That's amazing.
- (APPLAUSE)

KATHRYN: We all want to
live a happy life,

the best version of ourselves.

When I look at this group,
I know that change is possible.

If you're not happy
with your life,

you need to change your
clothes,

change the way you see
yourself.

And without doubt, the world
will see you differently too.

So when I look at your outfit,

I see a lot of elasticity
in your clothing.

And that says to me that

I think things have become
quite lax in some ways, in your
life.

JULIE: I've let myself go.

When I look in the mirror, I
go,

no, you're fat, you're ugly -
you're this, you're that.

So I've gotten into a rut.

I'm going to get you
out of that rut.

I'm going to lift you out of
it.

I've never, ever
looked like this. Ever.

It's changed my life forever.

I can't get the smile
off my face.

Julie.

(APPLAUSE)

Your first impression was...

Ah... Those first ones...
Sorry.

I thought it was plain, yeah.

They really hit home.

Now, when I first met you,

you were rarely
leaving the house.

Has there been any part
of this journey

that's been difficult for you?

Stepping outside again.

Like, it was just...

I just wanted to crawl
back into my hole.

But I actually put on a dress
and went outside,

and I haven't looked back.

Julie, you've done
this huge shift.

What lesson or tip do you think

gave you the biggest shift
in this transformation?

Your help and everyone's
advice.

I actually freed myself
from a toxic relationship.

It was 20 years that...

(APPLAUSE)

I didn't feel confident.

I felt like I was going to be
thrown in the heap

because I was plain, I felt
old.

And now... I get
a lot of compliments,

but I compliment myself more.

I look in the mirror and say,

"Julie, you're beautiful."

It's just...
It's totally changed.

I can stand on my own now
and say I'm OK.

It's time to be free.

It's time to be me.

Do you want to hear
your lasting impressions?

Do you feel
like you're sparkling,

not just on the outside,
but on the inside?

I look at myself
in a different way now.

I see that in you, and I'm
incredibly proud of you.

- Guys, please.
- (APPLAUSE)

Thank you.

I'm feeling that this is

not the first time
you've worn this shirt.

No, this is my favourite shirt.
I wear it everywhere.

I feel like you've been
wearing the same outfit

for a really long time.

I have been.

Because you don't feel
confident to, like,

splash out
and try something new,

even though I think there's a
part of you that would love to.

You just don't have
the confidence to go there yet.

There's more to me
than just, like,

that howdy-daggy, like,
ragamuffin sort of vibe.

Like, there's a bit more
colour, like, vibrancy.

I can't believe that this is...

Like, I walked in here
so different this morning.

And this is
what I'm looking like now.

I feel like
a better version of me.

I feel like a more, like,
pimped-out version of myself.

Latham.

(APPLAUSE)

So your first impressions
when people met you were...

Oh. Yeah.

Bang-on, bang-on.

Your lasting impressions are...

- Dapper?
- Dapper.

Yeah, I've never
received dapper.

From scruffy to dapper.

Yeah, dapper's
a big, old compliment.

Whoever the hell wrote that,
good on ya. Appreciate it.

- I have to ask about
that jacket.
- Yeah?

It is rather dapper.
Where did you get that?

So this is a brand-newie.

I got this from
the Sussex Inlet op shop

on the weekend, for six bucks!

(LAUGHTER)

What has been
the change in your life

since you've gone through
this process?

I guess it's been like
a crash-course

in how to love yourself, eh?

How has changing your clothes

changed the way
you see yourself?

Absolutely.
It's like feeding the soul.

It's like I feel silly
for not really thinking

that it was going to be such
an internal journey as well.

Like, whack a few clothes on,
look at yourself in the mirror

and, like, bang, off you go.

But, really, we all got

a great chance to
look within ourselves

and hunt for what we want.

And I think that's been
a really rewarding experience.

So you had to fend off suitors,

and women, with that
beloved bag of yours?

Uh, not yet. Maybe.

But I'll use the bag
if I need to whack them away.

- Keep it close, because...
- It's a weapon.

- It's sweet.
- Yeah.

I'm so proud of you.
You look amazing.

And I'm so excited that you
feel like you're finally
flying.

Yeah. Thank you so much.

- Appreciate it.
- Thank you.

(APPLAUSE)

GEORGIA: I know
I want to change.

I know I need to change.

Putting effort into myself,
it's hard.

Georgia.

(APPLAUSE)

Do you kind of live in
T-shirts?

Yeah. This is my go-to.

I have the same style shirts
just in different colours.

You're loyal,
you're loyal to your T-shirts,

and you're a loyal friend as
well.

Sorry. (CRIES)

I like just covering up
as much as possible,

even though sometimes that
does make me look bigger.

- You just like to hide.
- Yeah.

It's not happy with
who I am and what I look like.

So you don't see
how beautiful you are?

I wish you could see yourself
as I see you.

I don't want you continuing
your whole life

not wanting to be seen.

You looks so beautiful.

Oh, my...

GEORGIA: I was very insecure
at the beginning.

Now I'm happy to go out,
be proud of myself.

Georgia.

(APPLAUSE)

Your first impressions were...

What has been, I guess,
some of the hardest things

that you've had to overcome?

This has helped me
kind of push myself

to focus on myself.

And working on myself now
has made me so much happier.

I finally went on my first date
with my boyfriend

in I don't know how long.

We went out to dinner,

and he couldn't stop
staring at me.

And for him to constantly
call me beautiful all the time

just means so much to me.

It means so much to me, too.

Would you like to hear
your lasting impressions?

Your lasting impressions are...

I think the smile says it all.

But how do you feel when
you hear those three words?

Oh...

Amazing.

I feel a lot better
about myself.

One of the biggest things
I wanted out of this

was to feel pretty.

And I do.

Something so little
changes so much.

And you have helped me so much.

I'm really proud of you.

(APPLAUSE)

- Cory.
- OK.

Your first impressions were...

OK.

- Bit of a stretch.
- Exactly.

ALL: Ooh!

KATHRYN: And I'm not sure
on the court.

(LAUGHS)

You look unbelievable.

I feel, like,
on top of the world.

I feel like someone
that's powerful.

I feel like I was a new person,
but the same me.

(LAUGHS)

Your lasting impressions
were...

And you'll like this one.

- I like that.
- Yeah.

Do you feel that you've changed
in any way during this process?

My ensemble has improved.

And, you know, I shortened
the 'fro a little bit,

you know, got more
sophisticated in my look.

And, you know,
whatever that you want to be,

you can be a CEO, you know?

Just hit that three-pointer
in the CEO room now,

instead of on the court.

- Yeah. I'm so proud of you.
- Thank you.

(APPLAUSE)

Alyssa...

..your first impressions
were...

So sophisticated!

Oh, my God.

I see the successful woman.

I see that person
that I want to be.

Your lasting impressions are...

I think I definitely relate
to the last three impressions

and I think it's definitely
who I want to be,

and who I am.

It really has just given me
that extra confidence to be
like,

yeah, I've got this,

and has kind of like pushed me
forward in that fact.

I am so proud of you, Alyssa.

- Congratulations.
- (APPLAUSE)

ISABELLA: What I'd like to
change about myself

is to just be able to dress
with more dignity

and step into the shoes
that I belong in.

- Isabella.
- (APPLAUSE)

The shirt, obviously
connected to work, OK?

And the pants, you know,
they're just your work uniform

and thank goodness
they provide one, do they?

- Yes.
- What a relief to you.

Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

And even though you have this

kind of more masculine
shirt on, and clothes,

I see all these
beautiful trimmings

and I see that part of yourself
fighting to come out, actually,

and fighting to
see yourself in that way.

Yeah, 100%.

My mother turned around to me -

and it stayed with me,
and I don't know why -

for my whole life,
she said to me,

you're the ugly duckling

and you're never going to be
a beautiful swan.

And I believed her.

Do you still believe her?

I want to feel beautiful.

I want to look in the mirror
and what I see is beautiful.

Not a woman
wearing men's clothes.

Beautiful! You look beautiful.

Oh, my God.

I actually feel like a woman,
not a girl, a woman.

When I saw myself,
it was a stranger looking back.

And that stranger was gorgeous.

- Christina!
- (APPLAUSE)

Now this dress, which I love,

I did not pick this for you.

No, you didn't.
I picked it for me.

(APPLAUSE)

What a transformation.

- You can see my legs.
- (LAUGHS)

- KATHRYN: And they're lovely.
- Thank you.

Now, the first impression
that you gave this group was...

I love how far you've come
since I came back to your place

and you could not look in the
mirror and say, "I'm
beautiful."

- It was really, really tough
for you.
- Yeah.

I've been doing
what you suggested

and, you know, spending
a bit of more time on me.

My friend took me
makeup shopping. I've...

My makeup consisted of

sunscreen and a bit of tinted
moisturizer - and that was it.

And she actually dragged me
into a proper makeup store

and made me buy something.

And it made me feel good.

Now I look in the mirror,

I don't only SEE
somebody beautiful,

but I feel beautiful as well.

When my partner was there
for the reveal,

all I got out of him was,
"Wow."

Wow.

- Fits you really well.
- It does.

And afterwards, I said to him,

"Little bit underwhelmed,
there."

And he goes, "No, I wasn't.
I was overwhelmed.

"I didn't know what to say."

He goes, "I've never
seen you like this."

Your lasting impressions are...

Pretty...

I'm not pretty. I'm beautiful.

(APPLAUSE)

I'm looking in the mirror,
and that's what I'm seeing now.

So... Yeah.

I love seeing you
as I always saw you.

And I love that
you get to see her too.

- Yeah, me too. 100%.
- Yeah.

- I'm so proud of you.
- Thank you.

(APPLAUSE)

Christiane, the group's
first impression of you was...

Oh...

This whole journey,

it's made me feel
happier and positive.

And when I'm positive and
happy, that, to me, is sexy.

Would you like to know
your lasting impression?

Absolutely.

Honestly, your face
looks 10 years younger,

cause you're happy,
you're smiling.

It's just... You're...
It's like a new person.

It really is exciting to see.

My youngest daughter said,

"Mum, you actually seem
so much happier.

"You are literally glowing."

- I'm not pregnant.
- (LAUGHTER)

- Give her a round of applause.
- (APPLAUSE)

Thank you.

Isabella.

Your first impressions were...

That is what I wanted to see.

(GASPS) Wow.

ISABELLA: I finally
have come home.

I finally have found myself.

Lasting impressions...

When you hear THOSE three
words, how do you feel?

The sky's the limit now.

I was holding myself back,

and that's also because there
was lots of changes in my life.

Over the last few months,

life has just
been a turnaround for me,

and now I can shine just as
bright as anyone else can
shine.

And I'm so grateful that I got
to be on this journey with you.

(APPLAUSE)

SOPHIE: A transformation
would do me, my family, my kids

the world of good.

Steph, please stand up.

(APPLAUSE)

I'm looking at your clothing...

..and I see
this wishy-washy top.

It's like an actual shadow,
the speckled grey,

which always indicates a sense
of neither here nor there.

The fact that
you've chosen mum-jeans

makes me think that
in your head,

your whole identity is 'mum'.

I've had two kids
in the last five years,

and I've gone from a size 8
to a size 14.

My whole shape has changed.

So many of us,

when we don't feel that
we're the weight we want to be,

we don't dress ourselves
the way we want to.

We're waiting to get back to
this past version of ourselves.

You've got to love yourself
as you are now.

That's what I want. I want to
be the best version of myself.

You look so pretty!

Oh, my God!

I look like a princess!

When I came into
this experience,

I was a bit of a shell
of my old self.

I've transformed not
only the way I look,

but the way I am internally,

and I've got
my self-identity back.

This is going to change my life
in a major, major way.

Steph, please stand up.

(APPLAUSE)

Your first impressions were...

Yeah.

Now, when I met you,

the word that came to mind
for me was 'waiting'.

Yes.

Waiting to weigh
a certain amount,

to feel that you could
enjoy life to the fullest.

- Are you waiting anymore?
- No. No.

I'm so happy
with the way I look.

It's just that I didn't know

how to dress
my body shape or style.

What are some of the biggest
lessons that you've learnt,

going through
this transformation?

One would probably be
wear good underwear.

(LAUGHTER)

The biggest one, though,

would probably be
making time for myself.

To actually put makeup on,
if I want to.

Do my hair if I want to.

And curate an outfit to put
together to make me feel good.

Your lasting impressions are...

What three words would you use
to describe how you feel now?

Confident, free and optimistic.

Feeling really positive
about what's to come.

I feel that same optimism
for you.

Thank you so much. Please.

- Thank you.
- (APPLAUSE)

This transformation
began as a group,

but a group of strangers.

And sometimes it's really hard
to see your own transformation,

but when you see the people
that you started this with

become different, better,

more alive versions
of themselves,

it's reaffirming to see
how far you've come as well.

Thank you for sharing
so much of yourselves with me,

for being willing to not only
change your clothes,

but change your lives.

When I look around this room,

there's no doubt
people have transformed.

It has worked.

(ALL CHEER AND APPLAUD)

LATHAM: Who knows where
this is going to take me.

I just want to wake up
in the morning

has to offer.

a real woman.

my mentality towards clothes

has actually changed.

CHRISTIANE: 100%, changing
your clothes changes your life.

I see myself now.

This is the way I'm going to
see myself for the rest of my

I'm much prouder today
than I was yesterday.

And I've never felt this way.

my world's changing.

I just feel so good
inside myself.
