I've got some footage
that shows the helicopter

passing overhead.
It's not a drone.

TRAVIS:
And it turns and goes
the other way.

It seems to be just
navigating of its own accord.

TRAVIS:
When we launch rockets,

our instruments pick up
something unusual.

We're getting
some kind of signal.

ERIK [over radio]:
Hey, Travis.

The Kraken has been tracking

the 1.6 gigahertz signal
down to the southern fence line.

Oh, what's that?

That thing is moving fast!

strange thing that our team

has repeatedly encountered on
Skinwalker Ranch happened again.

A United States
military aircraft

suddenly flew back and forth

over the property
at an extremely low altitude.

Out of just happenstance.

Like, that does not happen.

Like, you don't have
a military jet of that size

cutting through this airspace

just out of happenstance.

I want to know
what in the world is going on.

several times during

place right after we saw

incredible phenomena,
such as UAPs.

a big military aircraft

in our airspace

and buzzing over the property?

Is it letting us know

that thing looked like it was

going to land

I estimate it was between 300
and 400 feet above ground level.

I'm glad you got it
from this point of view,

because I have it coming
right over the top of us.

There's no military base
anywhere near the ranch.

But we do know that
the U.S. government

partially funded
the investigation

of aerospace billionaire
Robert Bigelow

on Skinwalker Ranch from the
late 1990s to the early 2000s.

So these kinds of incidents
make us wonder

if we're being surveilled.

It's obvious the military is
interested for whatever reason,

I don't know, but I mean,
there's proof.

One of the reasons that
we're extremely curious

about the government
possibly watching us is

based on something
we're currently investigating

deep inside the mesa

on the northern border
of the property.

It's here, during
a drilling operation in 2021,

that we first encountered
a buried, 400-foot-long,

dome-shaped object
that was totally impenetrable.

But while searching the spoils,
we found small pieces of metal

that were scientifically proven
to be made of similar materials

like what NASA uses to protect
the surface of spacecraft.

THOMAS: Well, I see the drillers
are pulling up.

I'm gonna go over
and visit with them and...

with our game plan.

we conducted

a ground-penetrating radar scan
that showed

there could also be
several smaller metal objects

surrounding
whatever the dome is.

So, we've been working
with a team from

Mark Construction Drillers.
They brought out a much

more powerful rig
to make two large boreholes

through the mesa that will
trace around these objects.

This will enable us to insert
a number of scanning devices

to hopefully identify
just what these anomalies are,

and then decide
the best way to uncover them.

-THOMAS: How deep are you?
-ALEX: I'm 120 feet.

All right, well, while you get
fired up, we've got some stuff

we're going to be turning on
over here.

Just monitoring what's going on.

TRAVIS: Even with
this more powerful rig,

the team has struggled
the last few weeks

to get
the first borehole completed,

and experienced several
strange equipment malfunctions.

I'm set up, Erik,
I'm ready to go.

-Did he have the Kraken

So, as the drilling proceeds,

we'll be monitoring
our spectrum analyzers

for any mysterious
radio frequency signals

or energy spikes,

and also use Erik's Kraken
antenna system,

which is designed
to track the direction

that those signals
might be coming from.

And the drillers will
also be monitoring

their progress with a beacon.

That is a device
that tracks the position

of the drill bit underground

as it cuts
through the rocky mesa.

While the drilling operation

continued at the mesa,

ranch manager Jim Morse

and caretakers
Kandus Linde and Tom Lewis

headed about 20 miles southeast

to a property known as
Four Star Ranch

to meet with the property owner
David Yeaman.

I think you told me
about two or three weeks ago

you actually had an incident
on the ranch with a colt?

A week-old colt, yes.

That's the same thing that Tom

and Kandus have been witnessing
out there on Skinwalker.

It'd be nice to compare
some notes with you.

Skinwalker Ranch has
a history going way back

with cattle mutilations.

These were mutilations
that looked like surgeries.

Eyes missing, organs missing,
no blood anywhere.

David Yeaman's a local rancher.

Apparently, he's had
some mutilations on his ranch.

So, what's the connection there?

You know, I think it's worth
investigating his ranch

and what he has to say.

We had a week-old colt

out in the middle of the corral.

It was fine, everything
was fine, and the next day,

our ranch hand,
he said we lost the colt.

He texted me the picture.

That's the colt.

JIM:
Oh, you actually have
a photo of it.

DAVID:
It was mutilated.
Just a mutilated colt.

TOM: So, what do you surmise
did this to this colt?

DAVID:
You know, a lot of times
you would think, well,

what was it that did it?

Was it a coyote,
or was it a mountain lion?

I mean, none of those things
seem to fit the scenario here

because we didn't see
any footprints from it.

There was no blood coming out.

None of the usual signs
that it's an animal attack.

None of the usual--
The mother actually seemed

very distant from the colt
after this happened.

And that's unusual.

Usually, if they lose a colt,

they're kind of wanting to

revive it or something, yeah.

JIM:
Yeah, that's strange.

And we've had calves
that we couldn't explain

how they were lost, either.

I had one here
my manager sent.

There's one right there.

And, uh, this year
we had one cow that we lost

right down here
in the field this spring.

It was fine.
Couple hours later

and the cow is
on the ground dying.

It died very shortly after.

The only thing that
we could identify was

there was a hole in its knee
that was not a b*llet hole.

-And it wasn't really bleeding,

TOM: So, as soon as I hear
about this strange hole

in this cow's knee,

that immediately got
my attention

because we've seen
similar things

on the ranch.

BEN:
Look at this one!

That is a tooth that bit
all the way through.

TOM:
This year, we had a cow
mysteriously die

that had this puncture mark
in its rib.

BEN: The size fits
into that hole perfectly.

TOM: The only thing that really
fit in that hole was

the tooth of a dire wolf.

And the strange thing is,
dire wolves have been extinct

for supposedly

I'm only going about a foot
a minute at 12,000 pounds.

You can hear that he's hitting
something down there.

Is there any indication
from the drill what you're into?

He said it's just really hard.

-Yeah.

So, we're going down now.

-So, your bit's now
being pushed down?
-Yes.

THOMAS:
How far from the drill

when you started
encountering that?

We hit it at about 180 feet.

THOMAS:
That's interesting.

So, the drill bit's
not levelling out

but it's actually
getting pushed down.

Could it be
that we are hitting up against

the dome-shaped object,
and it's pushing us

even deeper down
inside the mesa?

It's important that we get
the angle on this bit perfect

and bring it up or we're never
gonna break through the surface.

TRAVIS:
Well, now, that, to me, is
just the strangest damn thing.

ERIK:
What are you tuning into
there, Travis?

There's a signal at 1.6-ish.

-Yeah...

ERIK:

Yeah, Thomas, what's up?

We're at that 180-foot mark
from the drill.

What we didn't expect
is for there to be

some type of wedge
that's pushing down,

not allowing us
to go straight in.

ERIK:
Copy you, Thomas.

TRAVIS:
Maybe the signal's connected

to whatever the drill
is hitting.

All right, guys, the 1.6

measured by the Kraken is coming

right down the line
from Homestead Two.

Right there.

TRAVIS:
I'm going.

Man, you can't
write stuff like this.

Just after the drill
may have hit

the dome-shaped object
inside the mesa,

we detected another strange
radio signal at 1.6 gigahertz.

And Erik's Kraken antenna system
pinpointed the source

over at Homestead Two, several
hundred yards to the west.

-Um, the spectrum analyzer.

TRAVIS:
And what's really curious
about this happening

during our drilling operation

is that we detected
a 1.6 gigahertz signal

two weeks ago at Homestead Two.

-It does go into a cone.
-ROYSTON: Oh, look at that.

ERIK:
Wow.

We're all inside it.

It was at the same time
that Pete Kelsey imaged

a massive cone-shaped anomaly
with an infrared lidar device.

Whatever it was covered
an area between Homestead Two

and the east field
and had an apex

that reached 2,000 feet high
above the triangle.

So, before we lose the signal,
we're gonna get. Let's go.

So, I grabbed an antenna,
some scanning devices and Kaleb,

and rushed over to Homestead Two
to see if we could find out

what was broadcasting
that signal

and how all these things might
be connected to one another.

Yeah, it's coming
from this direction.

ERIK:
The 1.6 gigahertz signal

will sometimes appear briefly
on our spectrum analyzers

and then disappear.

I would really like to know

what relationship there is
between these emerging signals

and some of the other
phenomenology,

like the UAPs
that we sometimes see.

This year,
we've added the ability

to localize
these signals in space,

perhaps identifying
a moving source.

Are we actually able to use
a system like the Kraken

to determine where that 1.6
gigahertz signal originates?

I'm hoping
that the answer is yes.

TRAVIS: Be advised
that I am picking up

the 1.6 gigahertz signal

pointed toward Homestead Two.

And right now, that's exactly
what the Kraken's showing us.

This is the first place
we found that signal, what,

in recent years
at Homestead Two.

It's chirping in frequency.

that emitted sounds

like possible
communication signals.

So, since this signal
was coming from overhead,

it made me wonder if
the massive cone-shaped anomaly

we recently discovered
is actually the source.

I want to put a rocket
right here

and launch it
right up through there.

do you copy?
-BRYANT: Yeah, go ahead.

KALEB:
Could you bring some rockets
down here by Homestead Two?

BRYANT:

We couldn't see anything
in the sky,

but something had to be there
emitting this signal.

So, I thought maybe if
we launched a rocket up there,

we could hit it
and hopefully find out

what the heck it was.

We just found the 1.6 signal.

-We had the signal coming from
up there at the same time.
-From right this spot, too.

BRYANT:
It seems to be
whenever we drill,

other things happen
in strange ways

on other parts of the ranch.

And sure enough,
that 1.6 signal showed up again,

this time,
from straight up in the air.

Now that we have an idea

of where this signal
is coming from,

we're hoping to try and
better figure out what it is.

And hopefully start us
in a direction

to come up with some answers
as to what's happening

here on Skinwalker Ranch.

locating anything.

another rocket into it.

I don't know if the rocket hit
whatever broadcast

that 1.6 gigahertz
signal or not,

but the timing of it
just cutting off was crazy.

It was like the ranch
was playing peekaboo with us.

And that happens a lot
with other phenomena here, too.

We've seen UAPs in the sky
one second

and then they just vanish.

But what do these things
vanish into?

All I could think to do
was launch another rocket

and hope something tangible
would be revealed

that would finally
give us an answer.

At this point,
we've seen a lot of things

on Skinwalker Ranch
that we couldn't believe,

Just after we detected another
strange 1.6 gigahertz signal

at Homestead Two,
a rocket that we launched

suddenly just froze and hung
there about 200 feet in the air.

It's suddenly like
something let it go, look.

How the heck would that happen?

The rocket literally
just stopped in midair.

That's crazy.

I don't know if this was related
to the huge cone-shaped anomaly

that we recently imaged
with lidar,

which surrounded this area,

or the 1.6 gigahertz signal
that we detected.

right after the drillers

hit something really hard
inside the mesa,

where we believe
a dome-shaped object is buried,

I wonder if there's
some kind of correlation.

We have something that this
drill bit can't go through.

This is really mysterious,
because this is a much bigger

drill than we've ever had
on the ranch before.

This exact drill bit
should be able to drill

through reinforced concrete
with no problem.

Whatever this dome-shaped
object in the mesa is,

it must have
a really hard outer shell,

because this drill bit
cannot penetrate it.

I don't know
what could account for that,

but the spoils pit is full,

and it's time for us
to go over and dump it.

It's just one step closer
to finding out

what that metal object is
inside the mesa.

the tank is full, then?

strange phenomena happening

in this attempt to drill
into that impenetrable,

possible dome-shaped object
in the mesa, I have to admit,

whenever we run
into these unexpected problems,

I see it as a data collection
and learning opportunity.

to get answers of the kind

that collecting repeatable data

is how we're gonna
figure things out

on Skinwalker Ranch.

So when Thomas found
a metal fragment

in the drilling spoils
that just came out of the mesa,

it offered more evidence
that we may really have

a huge, metal,
dome-shaped object in there.

But just what could it be?

So the first hole,
we had something

that was driving you up, right?

Now, the second hole,
it's driving you down?

-ALEX: Yeah.
-Oh, my goodness.

-We hit it at about 180 feet.
-BRYANT: Okay.

So it's a dome shape,
or something like that.

Here's the problem.
We can't have

any down trajectories
in our drill hole,

or it'll fill up with mud

and we won't be able
to get equipment up there.

gonna put a different drill bit
on now, and we're gonna try

the third attempt to get
in there, so you're gonna go

into the-the second hole
that you just drilled...

-THOMAS: ...with the bigger bit,

but your hope is,
because it's bigger--

And it's wider.

-It's about eight inches wide.

but this discovery
made us hopeful

that once Alex Swanson
and his team

got a bigger,
eight-inch drill bit installed,

by tomorrow,
we'd be back on track

drilling a borehole
up through the mesa.

That would bring us
one major step closer

to getting some answers.

THOMAS:
Okay, we'll go up there
and we'll clean that out

-a little bit for you some more.

Definitely seems like

we're cutting
through that ground

a little bit better
with that bit on.

Yeah, it's going pretty decent.

This morning,

the drillers got an early start
with their new eight-inch bit

and had reached the same place
nearly 200 feet inside the mesa

where we had all the problems.

right, we can do our thing.

So Erik and I were

monitoring our spectrum
analyzers very closely

in case anything strange
happened again.

ALEX [over walkie]:
We're looking good there.

Just go ahead
and keep drilling it,

try and maintain that pitch.

We're good to go.

Wait a minute. What?

What is that signal?

There's a signal

at 919 megahertz
that's going nonstop

on every antenna.

That is a strong signal, too,
whatever that is.

I've never seen that
before on the ranch.

-This shouldn't be here.

Unless there's somebody
that's got a tracker on us

or a listening device
or something here.

You know, like LoRaWAN
surveillance devices.

This signal
at 919 megahertz that was

being detected coming from
several different directions

by our antennas was
really suspicious to me

because that's
the approximate frequency

that so-called
Long Range Wide Area Network

or LoRaWAN devices emit.

These are tiny devices
that are designed

for conducting surveillance.

TRAVIS:
It made me and Erik think about

all the military and unmarked
aircraft that we've seen

flying over the ranch

during our investigation
over the past few years,

including one
just the other day.

Has somebody been dropping
these surveillance devices

all around the ranch
to monitor what we're doing

and we're just now
detecting them?

It's another unsettling mystery

that we have to figure out.

This is concerning.

ERIK:
Yeah.

We're drilling through
some [bleep] right now.

It feels like a,
like a hard clay.

to advance, we all thought

it had to have hit
the dome-shaped object again.

And it was anybody's guess

what was gonna happen next.

moving this direction

They're mooing at us.

Like, they've been sitting
over there all day and now,

all of the sudden, they just got
up and started coming this way.

I wonder if there's something
happening down there.

THOMAS [over walkie]:
Yeah, Bryant, I copy.

BRYANT:
Uh, you might want
to get down here.

We've got a calf over here

that is literally
spinning in circles

like it's losing its mind
and is about to go down.

THOMAS [over walkie]:
We'll see you in a few minutes.

Given the fact that we have seen

cows reacting when strange
phenomena happened in the past,

it's really making me wonder if
this calf and its weird behavior

is a sign that something strange
is happening right now.

TRAVIS:
What in the world is going on?

THOMAS:
As I look down there, I can
see a calf spin in circles.

I've grown up around livestock

and I've never seen
this type of behavior.

Something's keeping the herd
from going over to the calf,

and even more importantly,

something's keeping the calf
from going over to the herd.

And it just keeps spinning.

We're really eager
to figure out what just happened

to this calf.

THOMAS: [over walkie]:
It looks like there's something

pretty messed up
with its right eye.

Like it's been injured, Thomas?

THOMAS [over walkie]:
Its eyes are pure white.

TRAVIS: That's what happens when
you get exposed to microwaves.

You guys start
feeling weird at all,

TRAVIS:
After everything we encountered
the last couple of days

while drilling in the mesa,

where the massive
dome-shaped object

and other anomalies are buried,

it's really curious

that a calf has suddenly
started showing signs

of microwave radiation exposure.

That's weird.

THOMAS [over radio]:
Hey Travis, you seeing
any elevated readings

over there where that calf was?

TRAVIS: Hey, Thomas,
no weird readings

with the gamma ray detector
or with the TriField meter,

but I've got a, uh,
an old-school compass

standing right here
where that cow

was running around in circles.

North is about,
oh, I'm going to say



THOMAS:
That's interesting.

Something definitely
affected that calf.

TRAVIS:
As I scanned the field
where the calf was,

I got no harmful readings at all

for microwave radiation
or other kinds of energy.

But my compass was going crazy.

So, what in the heck
caused this?

Could it be connected
to whatever is inside the mesa?

We probably need
to get a vet out here.

Yeah, the herd broke through
all of this thicket of trees.

So I'm gonna go get them
pushed this way.

See if we can get them headed
down towards the corral

where I can get that calf and
its mom separated from the herd.

Well, I'm gonna wander
back toward the tent.

I'm not seeing anything else

Something just happened
to this calf.

Due to the fact that
this ranch has so much history

with cattle mutilations,

I'm really wondering
if we're seeing

another example that
strange things are happening

with the animals
here on Skinwalker Ranch.

I think if we get the herd
up and around,

-they'll continue
down the fence.
-Yeah.

THOMAS:
I'm really troubled.

Hopefully,
this calf will improve.

Yeah, absolutely.

Weird things at the drill, Erik.

Jared's call
was a little ambiguous.

So, we headed over there
hoping he was describing

a good kind of weird situation
with the drilling operation.

What's going on?

So, we keep losing communication
with our transmitter.

TRAVIS: Wow.

Something blocking the signal,
yeah, yeah.

You know how we've been
clunking the whole time

-and bouncing around,
chewing on stuff?
-Yeah.

My rotation pressure
climbs to almost 40,000 pounds.

We've drilled almost


But we're not moving very much.

Suggests it's hitting
something hard.

We had made so much progress
in this hole.

And now the drill was up against

something that was
slowing it way down.

It also appeared
to be causing the beacon,

which tracks the location
of the drill bit,

to lose its connection.

That means that the team
is now drilling blind

and we have no way of knowing

if it's heading upwards
like we need it to.

I'm going to try
to go a little further

-and if we can't pick up
our signal again...
-Yeah.

-...I-I'm not sure
what-what we could do.

TRAVIS:
At that point, our only hope

was that the beacon
would reconnect

and we could
keep making progress

to get at least one of our
needed boreholes completed.

Only time would tell
if we would get lucky

or have to pull it out,
try to fix the beacon

and then start all over again.

THOMAS:
So, I called
the rancher, Glendon,

who is the owner of the cows,

to come out and help us
get the cows rounded up

over to the corrals
and separated from the calf

so we can get this calf looked
at immediately by the vet.

GLENDON:

THOMAS:
I'm really curious as to what's
gonna happen with this calf.

Especially with
the strange things happening

at the drill site today.

So, uh, we've had some
unusual things happening today.

And, uh, this calf,
its eyes were glazed over white.

Uh, almost like
it's got cataracts. So...

Um, we're concerned
about its wellbeing.

We're also trying
to ascertain, you know,

what could have caused it.

Yeah. Let's take her temperature

and listen
to her heart and lungs

and-and check out what's
going on with those eyes.

from both eyes.

-So, something's making
the eyes bleed?
-Yeah.

A calf suddenly

right as we were drilling
into the mesa.

So, Thomas Winterton
called our friend

veterinarian
Dr. Haliegh Lundgreen

out to the ranch
so she could examine it.

HALEIGH:
We may not really know
what causes this.

THOMAS:
One thing that
we're concerned about

is maybe
some possible microwaves.

HALEIGH:
Yeah. I would presume
that microwaves

or magnetic waves
would produce heat

and that's what would cause it.

I mean, the eyes I feel like
are secondary

to what's really going on,
and it's trauma related.

The fact that she's circling,
this tells me

something's affecting
her cranial nerves.

Something damaged her brain.

Is this something we can treat
and try to-- try to fix?

My hope is that with enough
eye drops and things like that

we can help it,
but I don't think

that's our primary issue here.

Especially with her neurologic
signs that we're seeing.

What was it,
last year or the year before

-when we had the cow down here
that was exhibiting...
-Yeah.

Yeah, a-and we mentioned that
at the time

that we haven't really seen

a cow act like that before.

BRYANT: Oh, man, she doesn't
look good, does she?

THOMAS: A couple years ago,

we noticed that this cow had
separated herself from the group

and it was pretty aggressive
with us.

BRYANT:
Okay. You're good.

THOMAS:
And then a short time later,
we found out

that something messed up
its neurological system.

Makes me wonder if maybe
we might be seeing

some of the same things
happening to this calf today.

What may be causing these cows
to have these adverse reactions?

Your dad said that once
you got it off the ranch,

-she calmed right down.
-Yeah, she was fine.

THOMAS:
I guess the best we can do

-is for you to get
her off the ranch.
-GLENDON: Yep.

So we'll keep a really close eye
on the rest of the herd,

and I guess just take her home,
let us know how she does.

I have to wonder,
after seeing this calf

while drilling
into this anomalous mesa,

if the two are related.

We're often told that
when you dig on the ranch,

bad things happen.

Watching a calf
out there in distress

definitely was a bad thing.

It's definitely
got me on high alert.

I'm just curious how things
are going over on your end.

We are shut down for the day.

The drillers got into something

that was blocking
the signal on that beacon

and so they can't get
any sense of direction

on the drill head, so they're
going to have to pull out.

THOMAS:

of the hole again?

ERIK:
Yeah, Thomas.

We've got to figure out
what's going on up there.

THOMAS:
Well, after everything
we've seen today,

that's just par for the course.
That's unfortunate.

The guys and I are getting ready

to, uh, break down over here
and call it a day.

Every time we've tried
to penetrate the mesa

and better understand
the anomalies inside of it,

we've run into problems.

We get part of the way in,

and some aspect
of our equipment stops working.

Something breaks, something
stops operating altogether.

But I think the team and I
are unfazed

by our experience on the ranch.

We will proceed,
but slowly and carefully.

TRAVIS:
This week, we've detected
invisible phenomena in the sky,

we've witnessed a rocket
seem to freeze in midair,

detected numerous
strange energy signals

and had a cow suddenly
become inexplicably injured.

What could possibly explain
all those things?

I'm more convinced than ever

that the answer might be
buried inside that mesa.

BRANDON:
Even though we've had

intriguing ground-penetrating
radar results

and other findings,
we have no idea

what we will uncover
in that mesa.

Will we uncover further
evidence of strange material?

Or will we find
something exotic,

like a craft or some other
type of technology

that may be involved

with what we are seeing

both above and below
Skinwalker Ranch?
