closer to finding Bigfoot.

I'm standing
in a k*ll zone right here.

bigfoot walking
through the forest?

we experienced
out in the field.

But just because
we're no longer out there
in the field,

it doesn't mean
our investigation is done.

We're gonna take
a second look
at some of our findings.

I wanna talk to each
and every one of you about

all that you
experienced out there.

And we also have some
long awaited test results.

Because we had the
eDNA samples we gathered
this year analyzed...

And I hope, we've made some
remarkable discoveries
to reveal.

You know, it's funny
everybody thinks that

the huge scientific
discoveries happen
while you're out in the field.

But really with most
of my expeditions,

the real fruits
of my labor out there,

don't happen until
after we're back.

And that's when we get
those huge results
that we're looking for.

Yeah. No.
Exactly, and look, I think

before we dive
into those results, I wanna
go back to the beginning.

Our return to Washington
and the Olympic Peninsula.

We knew the location.
We knew the terrain.

It was familiar territory,
yet it seemed like
around every corner

came a new surprise.
Would you guys agree?

-Definitely.
-100%.

I wanna just
kind of go into it.
What surprised you guys

about this year's
investigation?
Mireya, I'll start with you.

I mean, I don't wanna speak
for you, Ronny, but for me

it was that moment
when watched that

sort off large man figure
run across like that shadow.

I mean, I still can't
get that out of my head.

[Ronny] I've got legit tracks
right here.

Just two miles downstream,

from where the team discovered
possible footprints,

they began to experience
mysterious rockfall.

[rocks tumbling]

[Ronny] Holy [bleep]!

[Mireya]
It's like an avalanche?

[narrator]
And on the same cliff face,

they spotted what appeared
to be a large
human-shaped shadow.

-[rocks tumbling]
-[Mireya] Over there.

[Ronny]
What the [bleep]?

[Mireya]
What was that shadow?

For me, it was a moment
of a Bigfoot cloaking.

And we're seeing that shadow
projected against the wall.
There was...

No other explanation.
You could literally see like

the hair and
the conical shaped head.

It does seem like
a video that defies logic.

I mean, have you come
to any conclusions as

to what you think
that might have been?

There was nothing between
us and that rock face
except water.

And then I thought, "Well,
could it have been the crew?"

But none of the crew's
lights were on.
Only Ronny and I.

So, I'm still baffled by
what we experienced
that night

and I really have
no explanation for it.

You know, to help give me
some context, I actually

spoke with a member
of the Bear River Band,

he was an elder by the name
of Hank Brenard.

And they talk about
these two different tribes

and one of them could be
an explanation
as to what you saw.

What modern people
call Bigfoot or Sasquatch,

we believe is two separate
tribes in that race.

There's what people
call the stick Indians,
which are bad and malevolent

tricksters and shadow people

that are helpful
and teachers and healers.

We believe spirit people
walk like in a plane
outside of our reality.

When you see them,
you're catching them
off guard.

Russ, I know you
encountered your own

shadow sighting.
Can you tell me about that?

I can't say I had
an encounter.

I didn't see anything
with my own two eyes.
My cameraman Zack saw it.

Oh, look at this.

This almost looks like a--

...like a footprint.

What's that?

I don't like that.

Wow, yeah. Look at this.
You know, we're starting
to get you know as

Russ's compatriot
and cameraman.
I know from seeing it

Russ was sort off
investigating the
ground below.

But it was... It was you
and your camera
that captured this.

What looked like a large
creature sort of passing
by on the ridge above.

And you see this shadow
just like Ronny
and Mireya saw.

What do you think
that was?

Well, you know, we were in the
same creek where we found
the footprint last year.

-Yeah.
-And we're out there
looking for these

things that just stand out.
That's what Russell tells me.
Look for things that just pop.

And you notice a shadow
that moves across
a ridgeline in front of you.

Yeah.

And I know it was big.
Because we were, you know,

all the way
across that street.

-Right.
-For it to cast that shadow,
it couldn't have been small.

Yeah. It seemed like
whatever it was that
we were tracking last year

that left those
incredible footprints,

we were hot on the heels
of it again this year.

And I know we all wanted
to see a Bigfoot.

So, as you might remember,
we did the next best thing,

extrapolate this incredible
portrait of what a Bigfoot
might look like.

What can you tell me
about the overall shape
of the head?

[narrator] After an expert
forensic artist

extracted a detailed
description from witness
Rob Johnson.

It was shaped
sort of like a man,
but a lot more robust.

And his trap muscles
came up to where
his ears were.

[narrator]
He created a precise
rendering of the beast.

Interesting.

-Are you ready
to see this guy again?
-Yeah. Let's see it.

Holy smokes.

Wow!
That's incredible.

-[Bryce] That looks like
what you saw, Rob?
-Yeah, wow.

So, you guys knew about that.
I mean, I've showed you
the sketches, but...

What you didn't know is that
I wanted to take it one step

further. I wanted to see
if there is anything else
that we could

pull from these sketches.
So, I enlisted a help
of a forensics specialist

out of Scotland
by the name
of Dr. Tobias Houlton.

Now, he's working with some
incredible high-powered
software and algorithms

to do something truly
remarkable that I think
is gonna blow your minds.

-Hey, how is it going?

Great, man. Thank you
so much for taking the time
to meet with me.

Can you start by telling me
a little bit about

what you do?
I understand
it's pretty amazing.

Sure. Cool, so...

I'm basically a specialist in
facial reconstruction
which essentially involves

building up a human face
from skeletal remains.

For example, if you find
a skull, you're able
to create an actual

person might have looked like.

Definitely.

What kind of new information
reveals itself?

Within a forensic context,
it is used as a...

a last resort
in critical cold cases.

If we find,
skeletonized remains,

we can build up that face
using modern science
and imaging techniques

to estimate
the facial appearance.

And this face can then be
presented to police stations,

unidentified persons
archives and other
relevant media.

So we can work towards
establishing the identity
of the deceased

and establish new
investigatory leads
to resolve a case.

Oh, wow.

Alternatively, in archeology
it gives an opportunity
to meet our ancestors.

I've got an example that
I can share with you just now.

Okay. So, this particular
skull dates back
to the Bronze Age.

And then, we are guided
by the skull morphology

in order to model
all the superficial muscles.

And this gives us an idea
of the general facial form.

What we'll do next,
for the facial features,
we'll then work our way up...

-Oh, that's incredible.
-...to modelling the skin.

And then
eventually all
of these details

are brought together
to produce the final face.

I know, it's not often that
we find an exact skull
that's intact,

but if we did, we could learn
so much about
a creature, right?

Like their eating habits,
their social structures
or if they walked upright.

Sure. Using an amalgamation
of anatomical and
anthropological insights,

definitely, definitely.
Yeah. Sure.

That is wild. I find what
you do absolutely fascinating.

And I think I have
an interesting task for you.

Have you ever worked
this process in reverse?

Can you take a forensic sketch
and model what that
skull might look like?

That's something
I've never tried before.

But, yeah,
that sounds interesting.

We had a witness, who had
a crystal clear picture
in his mind and he was able to

give that to a forensic
sketch artist and he came up
with this realistic drawing.

I just wanna take that
one step further and
come up with a 3D model

of what that skull might
actually look like.

Sure, I mean we'll certainly
give it a good go.

That would be incredible.

Just to get kick started,
I roughly sketched in

what the skull might
actually look like

to create this map,

in order to help me
generate a 3D skull.

So, what you can
see using that,
I've essentially generated

-the skin face.
-[Bryce] Oh, wow.

[Dr. Houlton]
It's additionally useful...

to have an idea of what
the skin looks like
in three dimension

as opposed to just the two.

Already,
this is incredible.

[Dr. Houlton] And then using
that information,
we've got this really

detailed reference as
to what the whole
facial structure looks like.

Let me switch off the plane
so you can see better
what the skull looks like.

That is incredible.

[Dr. Houlton] So, this is all
kind of useful little
references to help guide

the process of trying
to reverse engineer his skull.

It's just incredible.

-[Dr. Houlton] I've actually
sent you a package.
-[Bryce] Yes.

I was curious as
to what it was.
Should I go ahead and open it?

Yeah. Please do.

All right. I've been
really excited
to check this out here.

Let's see it.

Oh, my God.

It's like Bigfoot Christmas.

Holy cow...

Amazing.

Wow!

[Bryce] So this is an actual
model from just that sketch?

I mean, I can already see
the resemblance
of the skull there.

-Yeah.
-Wow! It's huge.

Yeah. Yeah, it's phenomenal.
[chuckles]

I'm blown away.
That is a big guy.

Okay so now that you've
got the 3D print
in hand of the skull,

you could really see that
there is like minimal
to no real evidence

-of a forehead.
-Yeah.

Anything like
what we would expect
to see with an ape.

You've got that really strong
well pronounced
brow ridge as well.

-Yeah.
-Again very ape-like.

But if we draw in closer
to his nose

this bridge of the bone
structure supporting his nose

is really high and pronounced.
He's got a really
human-looking nose.

Like modern human nose.
So, there's some similarities
that I could see relate to

ape species as well as
modern humans.

These sort off
features was
kind off reminiscent

of the early Hominin species
as well like Australopiths
from Africa or

the Neanderthals from Europe.

So, you're saying that just
with these sketches alone,
you were able to sort of

recognize some of our ancient
Hominin ancestors.

[Dr. Houlton] Who knows?
This could be
a very ancient being

that has been roaming
America for some time.

[Bryce] Wow!

[Dr. Houlton] So to add
to what I've just done,

I decided to share
the 3D models
that I generated with

a colleague of mine.
And she specializes
in 3D texturing.

-Oh!
-So, let me share my screen
and show you

what the textured face
of Bigfoot looks like.

-[chuckles]
-What do you reckon?

Wow!

[Bryce] That is wild.

I feel like I'm looking
into the face of this creature

that our witness
looked into. This is just
absolutely incredible.

Yeah. And I think that added
texturing really helps

bring him to life
that little bit more.

You know, more than
anything, for the first time
I feel like I'm getting

what witnesses describe
when they're saying,

"This creature had
such a human face.
But it wasn't human."

I think that's fascinating
that you can glean
all that information

just from... Just from
somebody's sketch, you know.

-Sure.
-It's wild. I mean,
to me it's all adding up

that this is really something
authentic that this witness
saw and experienced.

But now, we have this 3D model
that we can actually take
and show to other scientists

and glean
new information from this.

I think it's just remarkable
what you've done.
I'm blown away.

[Bryce] Well, look, now's
the time you guys
have been waiting for.

Mireya, I had the skull
shipped to you.

Let us know is this what
a Bigfoot skull
would look like?

And if so, what can we
learn from this?

-Here it is, you guys.

[Ronny] Look at the size
of that thing.
That thing's gigantic.

-Isn't it?
-Is that incredible or what?

Obviously, you guys were
working under the premise

that this is a Bigfoot skull
based on the memory
recollection and a drawing.

If we were to take that
at face value, kind of
literally, right?

And take a look at this,
there's a lot of information
that we can get from a skull.

-I've got this
gorilla skull here.
-Wow.

What is the first thing that
catches your eye
on that compared

to the possible Bigfoot skull.

For me, the lack of cranium.

It's missing
this sagittal crest.

Which is used to attach
powerful jaw muscles.

And that kind of makes sense
because gorillas are

herbivorous and they're
chewing through really hard
grasses and st*lks.

And so they're gonna need
those powerful jaw muscles.
But then,

the other thing that you might
notice is pretty obvious.

If I bring the teeth closer
together, what do you see?

What's missing on this one?

Yeah, there's no huge canines.

Huge canines are usually
associated with

anything that's gonna
rip through flesh.

And gorillas don't do that.
In fact, gorillas have larger

canines than chimpanzees.
And chimpanzees
are more omnivorous.

So, even that argument,
you can't say, "Well then,
maybe Bigfoot's not

-as reported," right, Ronny,
that they're carnivorous?
-Yeah.

[Mireya] You can't then say,
well then, they're not
carnivorous. In fact...

What I'm thinking is,
is that may be more
of an indication of

their social structure
and their social behavior.

And what if you've got
a situation more so like say
a species like Neanderthals

where they're incredibly
skilled hunters.

They're not relying
on their teeth.
They have weapons.

And they're not defending
territory because
they're migrating.

And then, what I thought
was really interesting is

this foramen magnum.
This opening
at the base of the skull.

And in humans,
that opening shifts forward.

And that's what allows us
to stand straight up, right?

It helps us be upright
and bipedal.

In this, it's sort of in this
weird middle position where

if this was a Bigfoot...

it would be able to walk
bipedally.

But it would also spend time
on all fours walking
quadrupedally on the ground.

So, once again,
it straddles the line
between ape and human.

Here's the thing, even at the
end of the day with all
this information and evidence

that we've gathered,
we've still been

unable to prove
this creature's existence.

But look there's
techniques out there.

Uh, they can hopefully
help us get closer.

Things like eDNA.
Mireya, can you tell us
a little bit about that?

The environmental DNA has
become a really instrumental
tool in the scientific world.

Because it basically gives you
a snapshot of anything
that came through an area.

It really helps scientists
figure out whether
sometimes an animal is still

even in existence
or if it's gone extinct.

And it's something that has
really revolutionized
the way that we're able

to analyze what's out there
without really
putting our eyes on it.

[narrator] Throughout
this year's expedition,

the team collected
environmental DNA samples

from locations where
there were possible
Bigfoot activity.

[Mireya]
Leave no stone unturned.

[narrator] This included
the k*ll zone discovered near
Lake Fear in Washington

as well as the two potential
nests they uncovered
in Northern California.

And look, Mireya, am I
to understand that you have
most of the eDNA results

from this year's investigation
with you right now?

I've got them
right here, you guys.

-Are you guys ready?
-[all] Yeah.

-Definitely.
-Yes.

First up are the eDNA results
from the most recent
samples that we collected

at those odd-looking nests
in Northern California.

We got small hits
of Sumatran orang DNA.

-Wow!
-[Bryce] Wait...

Are you saying
orang as in orangutan?

Exactly. Which is just
as surprising
as our chimp findings.

However, I will qualify it
by saying that the hits

were not nearly as many
as we did with the
chimpanzee DNA initially.

I do think that
it's interesting that
it would be orangutan.

Because I've read about
Gigantopithecus,

which orangs are
a direct descendent off.

[narrator] Gigantopithecus
is a genus of massive apes

that went extinct as recently
as 100,000 years ago.

Scientists approximate
that it stood nine feet tall

leading many researchers
to believe Bigfoot

may be related
to the ancient primate.

That's surprising
to hear that orang
came up in that result.

Yeah. I'd say.

[Russell] I have a friend
who has done a lot
of research in Sumatra

looking for the orang pendek.

When you said that,
it just...

It seems like such
a unique hit for such a...
a unique area.

Let me ask you this, Mireya.
Were there any other
markers or indicators that

overshadowed
this orang indication?

In other words,
did it conclusively say
what made those nests?

[Mireya] I'm afraid it didn't.

But there were
some strange findings.

The one that really
caught my attention
was a human DNA.

Not enough for me
to say this significantly
means something,

but it did make me raise
an eyebrow that that
was picked up on there.

Ronny, Russ, going off
these findings that Mireya
just revealed to us,

does it shed any light
on what you guys think
this creature is?

Is it more human,
is it more related to primates
like the orangutan,

Gigantopithecus?
What do you guys think?

I find it interesting
that when we have some DNA,
human always seems comes up,

and it's easy to dismiss it
as contamination.

But I start to wonder
if that is a reason why
it keeps on coming up,

because they are part human.

We hear about
the Native Americans
talk about the forest people.

So I think
there's a human
element to them

that we're maybe dismissing
as contamination.

But maybe it's also
why hunters who have them

in their sights,
can't pull the trigger.

They say they look too human,
and they feel like they
would be committing m*rder.

I'd have to argue
with you there because human
markers are pretty specific,

and people have the same
reaction when they look
into the eyes of a gorilla.

I mean, they feel like
a human is looking
back at them.

-Like a connection.
-[Mireya] Yeah.

That primate intelligence,
that close relationship
that we have with apes,

it really is something
that we connect to.

And I do find it
rather intriguing

that we're getting
this combination

of what we know
are known apes,
and, of course, human DNA.

Yeah, it's confounding.

Russ, what do you think,
does this help solidify
your flesh and blood theory?

In my opinion,
it has to be flesh
and blood.

I've always thought
that the Bigfoot would be
closely related to human,

because they're very,
very intelligent.

And if they weren't,
we'd be stumbling
across Bigfoot all the time.

Well, it's funny
that you mention that, Russ,
do you remember those

deployable trackers
that you set out
in Northern California?

Oh, man, how could I forget,
of course, I remember that.

[whispering] I know
I'm on the trail
of whatever that thing was.

[narrator] Using
a sophisticated
tracking device,

Russell pursued a potential
Bigfoot through the Northern
California forest.

[Russell whispering]
We're right on top of it, man.
Is it in the tree?

Do you see anything
up there?

[Russell] Come here,
look at this [bleep]!

There's my tracker.

You gotta be kidding me.

That's the closest
I've ever come
to chasing this thing down,

and now it's gone.

There's hair on that.
There's hair right there,
it's black hair.

And this thing
would move so quickly
and get back out of range,

that I couldn't keep up
with it, there was no way.

And I'm not too slow
in the woods if I've just
got my small backpack on.

It was almost like
it knew when
it would come within range.

Because my activity
would maybe alert it

that I was coming closer
and it could hear me,
I don't know.

But that thing, literally
outmaneuvered me
every step of the way.

It did, it seemed like
it was leading you on some
type of wild goose chase.

I got the test results
back from the lab.

And I don't know how
you'll feel about this, or if
it will surprise you or not,

-but the results--
-Is it the one, it's the one
that we actually found?

This is the one
that you found the hair on,
which, I thought,

you know, of course,
there's gonna be a hair on it,

'cause obviously whatever
it was picked this tracker up.

Well, the test results
came back.

This is what could only
be described as...

The test results
came back as human.

I can't think
of any human
on the planet

that could have done what
that thing was doin'.

That's crazy.

That's what the lab said
and I agree with you,
it doesn't make any sense.

-But again, these lab
results can be frustrating.
-Unbelievable.

Well, I wanna sort
of change gears

and talk about another pattern
that started to emerge
on this year's investigation.

We started witnessing
these strange lights.

And unlike years prior,
this time I feel like
we all saw them.

Mireya, I couldn't believe
those lights that you saw.

That was crazy, you would
shine a flashlight on them,

and there's nothing there
that could be emitting lights.

So you turn off the flashlight
and then there they are again.

[Mireya] What
the [bleep] is that?

[narrator] While separated
from Ronny in the Northern
California wilderness,

Mireya spotted
an unexplained
source of light

just 250 yards
from her position.

[Mireya whispering]
What is that?

It's these big
bursts of light.

What happens
if I flash my light at it?

When I've got my light on,
all you see is, like,
this dense wall of trees.

And then
the second
I turn it off...

I have to tell you
it happened repeatedly.

While I cannot take any one
of these things as evidence,

I can't just simply ignore it
because I know what
I'm experiencing out there.

I know what I'm seeing.

And while I can't offer
a logical explanation for it,
it still happened.

And, Ronny, what do
you think is going on
with these strange lights?

Where there's Bigfoot,
where people are seeing
these orbs of light,

people are also having
UFO experiences,

and I don't think
that's a coincidence.

I think they're
in those same areas

for a reason,
and I think
they're connected.

[Bryce] Well, look, we know
that Northern California

is not just a hot spot
for Bigfoot activity.

But it also happens
to be a hot spot
for UFO's or UAP's,

Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.

And I wanted to bring
somebody on who's
well-versed in this field

to help us sort
this mystery out.

He's a friend of mine,
a ufologist, author
and podcaster,

his name is Ryan Sprague.

And maybe he can elucidate
some of what we are
experiencing in the field.

I know who you are,
but for those who don't,

can you tell us a little
about what you do?

Absolutely, uh, I am
a UFO researcher,

I have traveled all
around the world,

interviewing people
about UFO sightings
and encounters.

I've been doin'
it since age 13,
so it's been quite a journey.

And this is exactly why
you're on with us today.

Because in our investigations
out in the field,

we've experienced
these strange lights.

Northern California
is one of the most active
areas when it comes to UAP.

They're often called
window areas,

where a lot of different
types of phenomena
have been reported.

Not just lights in the sky,
paranormal, supernatural,
cryptological even.

One of the earliest cases
was in 1888, where a cattle
rancher came into contact

with some
of the Native Americans
in the area.

And they asked him to come
with them to a cave.

They saw in the cave,
this massive creature,
long black hair, yellow eyes.

They found three
of these creatures,

after seeing what they
described as a small moon
descend to the ground.

These creatures showed up
and then this moon went back
into the sky and disappeared.

That's incredible.

We're living in an age now,
where the U.S. government
has admitted UFO's exist.

I can't even imagine
what's to come
in the next few years.

Do you think the government
might also be aware
of the phenomenon of Bigfoot?

There are cases
within the Air Force program,
Project BLUE BOOK,

that investigated UFO's,
where Bigfoot creatures
were sighted as well.

Throughout the years,
there have been many reports

where UFO's and Bigfoot
have been sighted
at the same time.

There was one in 1973,

where witnesses said
they saw a creature
run towards their car,

-jump over it, and disappear
into the woods.

And right after that,
they saw a craft in the sky
fly over, sh**t a beam down

into the woods to where
this creature went,
and disappear.

and that goes
even up until today

with the many reports
coming out
of Skinwalker Ranch.

For those who don't know,
Skinwalker Ranch
is this place in Utah

that experiences all type
of strange phenomena.

Not only lights in the sky
but strange, upright
walking creatures too.

Yes, some of these scientists
actually reported

strange, werewolf-like
creatures and even Bigfoot.

That door has been opened.

I think we're on the cusp
of having them finally admit,

"Yeah, we know there are
these creatures out there."

that if the government
is interested,

than it's safe to say
that something is going on.

That relates
to the topic
of Bigfoot,

and these strange ba*ls
of lights that we keep seeing.

I think so, Bryce.

There have been cases
on Skinwalker Ranch,

where these scientists said
they have come into close
contact with these creatures.

It's very possible
that there are Skinwalker
Ranches all over the place.

I think we gathered a lot
of incredible evidence,

but I can't believe

about it already.

it's just really
treacherous footing.

a bear over here.

So for a human to be
on that hillside,

to stand up and walk away,

and I'm thinking
it's a bear.

Everything in my
head is telling me
I'm watching a bear.

And what really threw me...

this thing literally
stood up on two feet...

like a man would.

This was no bear.

It literally stood
up like you and I would.

Stood up on two

A bear will stand on two feet,
this was different, man.

your video did for us

is it led us
right into a place

where we would discover
these Bigfoot nests.

The reason that this find
was really interesting to me

is that it looks like
something made it

and constructed it
with real intent behind it.

excited about a find.

was interesting to me

is that they were in a clear
line of sight from each other.

What's weird is I can
see where the other
nest is from here.

You've got a line of sight.

Holy [bleep], dude!

There was that one
that was higher,

and it was like that
alpha position, you know,
the oversight.

That was interesting to me.

The fact that there
were two of them
that close to each other,

in my opinion, makes
it a much stronger find

because it's not just
one in isolation,

now you have
multiple samples.

Everything about the location,
the way they were made,

made it a really strong find.

even more surprising

is how Chris Duncan
predicted the exact location

of where we would find those
nests using remote viewing,

which is the ability
to hone in on specific

places and things
using only the mind.

The impression I get
feels like there's
a boundary out there

you can't cross.

time a remote viewer

has tried to track down
a Bigfoot-like creature.

Have you ever done
a reading like that,

trying to locate something
unknown or unconfirmed?

No, so, I've never
done a reading

on something
unconfirmed whether
it even existed or not.

So, I started looking based
on intuition on a map,

and the overwhelming
feeling I got was that

there's something here,
but it knew about what
was going on...

being looked for

or it was even watching,
and was getting ready
to, just, move.

because what you were
able to remote view

led us to an
unbelievable find.

We found not one,
but two nests.

That kept on ringing

where we wanna go next

Well, that's tough because
there's a lot of places
that I'd love to go.

But the one that
I keep going back to

is Ecuador.

I just keep going
back to that story

that Jane Goodall
shared with us.

I've met people into a very
wild part of Ecuador

who say they've seen
a monkey with no tail,

it walks upright,
and it's about 7-foot tall.

She never followed
up on it, but it's
always stayed with her,

I mean, she still remembers
that story to this day.

So, I would wanna
go to Ecuador.

I'd say that's compelling,
uh, Russ, how about you?

Like Mireya said earlier,

if they're anything
like the Neanderthal

they're not territorial,
but they're gonna
be migratory.

Now, we've been in all
these western states,

now, if you go further north,

you're talking a much more
dense and rugged area.

We're talking land that human
feet have never touched.

Now, this is where
Bigfoot would want to be.

So, I think the further
north we go,

I think we're gonna
increase our odds.

I love that idea because,
you know, Sasquatch,

that term came
in the 1930s up north,
British Columbia area.

And those reports of wild men
go back hundreds of years,

and those early
newspaper reports

describe Bigfoot creatures
that they didn't have
really a name for it, so,

I think it makes
a lot of sense.

Well, look, I don't
think anyone can deny

that what we're
doing is working,

and I feel like no
matter where we go

we're gonna find success.

Hopefully, we can prove
once and for all

that the creature
known as Bigfoot...

is real.

that we took near those
nests in Northern California?

Well, the lab results are back

and they're somewhat shocking.

So, although the DNA
was kind of degraded,

they were able to make
a determination of species,

and get this, that species

is wolf.

Listen, that's not even
the amazing part.

They were actually
able to determine

that it was
a subspecies of wolf

known as the Alexander
Archipelago Wolf,

which only lives in one place.

Southeastern Alaska.

-Whoa.
-Whoa.

Huh.

[Bryce] It begs the question,

you know, how did that
hair get from Alaska

to Northern California?

Mireya, do we know anything
about these types of wolves?

Do they migrate?

They don't.
And I know this animal,

there's only a few hundred
of these left in the wild.

So, if this test result
is accurate

and that's the animal
that we're talking about,

there's a zero chance
that it would make its
way to California.

You know what, we do
have that, that story

from that witness that
describes a Bigfoot creature

wearing what looked like
an animal pelt over its...

-...hair or fur.

It was wearing,
like, a deer...

...carcass or something
around it like a cape
or a shawl.

Maybe these creatures
are camouflaging themselves

using parts of their
environment.

I mean, it certainly
would make sense

as to how that hair
ended up in California.

If a Bigfoot was migrating
from Alaska to California

carrying or wearing
this pelt...

I mean, I don't know
that I subscribe to this
pelt theory,

but the fact is that something
would have had to have brought

that hair or that animal
to California.

I don't know what
the answer to that is.

you said we should
be heading up north.

Let me open it up

do you think we should be
going in that direction?

I'm saying that

the further north we go,
and staying along
that coastal region,

the more evidence
we're finding.

legends from up there

that feature a creature
that would be depicted
as being a Bigfoot.

I mean, from an exploration
standpoint

this is a really
untamed, wild place

and the biodiversity
is off the charts.

I couldn't agree more,
and we've always

that here with these new
lab results.

So, to me, it really leaves us
