01x10 - Happiness Is a Good Book

Post by bunniefuu »

[Rerun] "Balloon Beagle."

[gasps]

Ahem.

This is my yellow balloon.

I won it for being
the best speller in the class.

I spelled, "outrageous."

Hold my balloon, please.

O-U-T-R-A-G-E-O-U-S!

Outrageous.

I'll take that.

Thank you.

[gasps]

Snoopy, can you do me a favor?

I need to capture this perfect moment with
a perfect picture of my perfect balloon.

Can you please hold it for me
while I get my camera?

Thank you, Snoopy.

And don't you let anything happen to it.

Otherwise I might get G-R-U-M-P-Y!

Grumpy. Boop.

[groans]

[chortles, murmurs]

[chuckles, chattering]

[chatters]

- [chortles]
- [chortles]

Hmm? [screams]

[grunts, panting]

[grunts]

[grunting]

Hmm? [groans]

Snoopy, you really ought to show a little
more respect for the postal service!

[grunts]

[pants, sighs]

[chatters]

[groans]

[cheers]

[chatters]

[murmurs]

[cheering]

[grunting]

[screams]

[groans]

Hmm, now where did I put that camera?

Hmm.

It's gotta be in here somewhere.

[gasps] Found it!

Wait.

I should wear a special bow in my hair
to commemorate this occasion.

Hey, Snoopy,
wanna help me build this sandcastle?

Hey, Snoopy,
wanna help me rebuild this sandcastle?

[gasps]

[cheers, sighs]

- Snoopy, you got my kite.
- Hmm?

[groans]

Wow. Look at it soar.

[sighs]

Snoopy, look.

Wanna help me with the turret?

Okay. I'll pencil you in for later?

Huh?

[chortles]

Should I go with the pale coral
or maybe the light rose?

No.

Ugh.

Hmm.

[Snoopy groans]

What about hot flamingo?

Perfect.

[grunts]

[clears throat]

Oh, hey, Snoopy.

I didn't know beagles liked pears.

I didn't know beagles
liked stepladders either.

[grunts]

[yelps, groans]

Snoopy, look. I found my camera.

Hey, where's my balloon?

I'll bet you put it somewhere
for safekeeping.

Am I right?

[chuckles]

Good. Because if something happened to it,
I'd be very A-G-G-R-A-V-A-T-E-D.

Aggravated. That means mad!

[panting, gasps]

Look, Snoopy.

I found a yellow balloon
that we can play with.

It just floated into my hand.

Don't worry, you little balloon.

You can play with us.

What are your thoughts on sandcastles?

- Snoopy builds the best sandcastles.
- [cheers]

You should meet him, he's my best friend.

[sighs]

[Sally] Snoopy? Where'd you go?

Snoopy, where are you?

Wow, there's even an observatory.

Are you in there?

Snoopy, where'd you go?

There you are. Where's my yellow balloon?

That's a banana.

That's a drawing of a balloon.

[chirping, squeaks]

That's just a yellow bird on a string!

I just want my yellow balloon, Snoopy.

[grumbles]

- [Rerun] Excuse me.
- [gasps]

I couldn't help but overhear
you mention a yellow balloon.

I guess this belongs to you.

My balloon!

I knew you wouldn't let me down, Snoopy.

You were just letting Rerun
watch it for me, weren't you?

[chuckles]

Good dog.

Phew.

[Sally] Now I want you to take my picture.

Make sure you get my bow.

Ugh! My eyes!

My balloon!

[growls] Snoopy, look what you made me do!

[gasps] Oh, no!

[pants] My sweet balloon!

[laughing]

Oh, wow. This must be my lucky day.

[laughing]

[twittering]

[Rerun] "Above Par Beagle."

Hmm.

[cheering]

[chuckles]

- [chatters]
- [Franklin] Hey, Snoopy.

If you're not gonna play,
can you get out of the way?

All great golfers stick out their tongue.

I'm not sure that's true.

[machine whirring]

A hole in one!

Ooh!

Nice shot, Franklin.

It's all in the tongue.

[grunts]

[glass shatters]

[strains]

[grunts]

[grunting]

Excuse me,
this is a professional workspace!

Okay. Concentrate.
Let nothing distract you from this pitch.

But I didn't even throw it yet.

Look, Marcie.

I finished my homework assignment on,
"Great moments in history."

I made a diorama of the moon landing.

That's not the moon, sir.

That's a football field.

Well, who's to say the moon
doesn't look like a football field?

Science, sir. Science says that.

[straining]

[grumbles]

[chirps]

Playing a little golf, I see.

Looks like a tricky shot.

But you know what they say in golf,
you have to play the ball where it lays.

Otherwise there's a penalty.

[straining]

[grunting]

[grumbles]

[grunts]

You're lucky I have insurance!

Come on, Charlie Brown.

- You've got... Whoa!
- [batter strikes]

[sighs]

I've given up two hits,
and I haven't even thrown a pitch.

Do you like my project, sir?

The macaroni pieces
are the Wright brothers,

and this is
their first successful aircraft.

Can't you just see it
soaring through the sky?

[screams]

[sighs]

Another great moment in history
lost to the ages.

[cat yowling]

[cat growls]

[cat yowls]

[gulps, shudders]

- [cat yowls]
- [crashing]

[grumbles]

[grumbles]

A-ha!

[cat yowling, hissing]

We put that together real quick, Marcie.

It's called teamwork, sir.

I just hope the teacher
doesn't mind us working together.

So what great moment in history
are we looking at here?

Galileo's discovery of the solar system.

[Peppermint Patty]
What's with the plastic frog?

[Marcie] That's Galileo.

I ran out of macaroni.

[ball zipping]

- [screams] Not again!
- [groans]

[chattering]

Good grief.

Keep your eye on the ball!

[chuckles]

[machine whirring]

[cheering]

[Peppermint Patty]
You've got some nerve, kid.

That was the third school project
you ruined.

Now we're gonna get a D minus.

[gasps]

See what you're doing to poor Marcie?

Who knew the solar system was so fragile?

Snoopy, you owe us a school project!

Hmm.

Ah!

Today we want to present to you
a great moment in history.

Ta-da!

This is the first time in history
the great golfer, Snoopy,

completed the final hole
in only 127 shots.

I did it in one.

As school projects go,
it's not exactly a hole in one.

C minus!

- [gasps]
- Yeah! Whoo-hoo!

[moans]

[twittering]

[Rerun] "Happiness Is a Good Book."

[Charlie Brown groans]

Off to the library, Charlie Brown?

I have to renew my copy of w*r and Peace.

I haven't finished it yet.

How are you finding it so far?

Really heavy.

[groans, grunts]

Ooh!

Snoopy, since this is your first time
in a library,

you need to know that
the number one rule is to not make any...

[cheers]

noise.

- [chair screeches]
- [shushes]

[murmurs]

[grunting]

[Snoopy chewing]

[children shush]

[chuckles]

Snoopy, you can't have food
in the library.

There's no drinking in the library either.

Just be quiet.

[slurps]

[groans]

This book seems to be getting heavier.

[banging]

[music playing from headphones]

[howling]

[shushes]

[Snoopy sighs]

If you're looking for something to do,
go find some books.

Use your imagination.

Quietly.

[Charlie Brown grunts]

I'd like to renew this book, please.

[droning adult chatter]

Yes, ma'am. He is my dog.

I'm afraid library etiquette
wasn't covered in obedience school.

Fascinating.

[murmurs] Meh.

Ooh.

"Great Moments in the History of Dirt."

[coughing]

Hmm.

[Snoopy] Huh?

- [Snoopy murmurs]
- [squeaks]

[squeaks]

- Hmm.
- Hmm.

[chuckles]

[Snoopy murmurs]

[Snoopy and Woodstock] Ooh.

[chortles]

[rumbling]

[yelps, grunting]

[screaming]

[chortling]

[droning adult chatter]

Yes, ma'am.

[chortling]

Snoopy, if you can't stay quiet,
you're gonna get in trouble.

I love the library.

Centuries of learning
and knowledge all in one place.

Oh.

A book on balloon sculpting.

[sighs]

Ooh.

[screams, chatters]

[gasps, growls]

[Peppermint Patty] Ahoy, matey.

Prepare to board.

We're already on board, Captain Sir.

Good work, first mate Marcie.

Then prepare for battle!

[gasps, murmurs]

[chatters]

[murmurs]

- Yargh!
- [yells]

- [grunting]
- [grunting]

[chirps]

[squeaks]

[pants]

[panting, yelps]

[gasps]

[grunts, chuckles]

[grunting]

[gasps]

- [bell rings]
- [chattering]

[waves rushing]

[screams]

- Yargh!
- [screams, grunts]

You're right, Marcie. Knowledge is power.

[laughing]

[droning adult chatter]

Yes, ma'am. I'll go tell him.

[laughing]

Snoopy, the librarian says that
if you make any more noise,

you're gonna be kicked out.

Here. You've always liked science fiction.

Hmm.

[monster growling]

[yelps]

[growls]

[squeaks]

[growling]

- [squeals]
- [monster growls]

[gasps]

- [whimpers]
- [monster snarls]

[grunts]

[snarls]

[screams]

[bookshelf creaks]

[crashing]

[groans]

Snoopy, I told you to be quiet!

[droning adult chatter]

Yes, ma'am.

- [murmurs]
- [whines]

I guess I should've kept my voice down
telling Snoopy to keep his voice down.

I never even got to renew my book.

[Snoopy grunts]

You renewed it for me? But how?

That's great, Snoopy.

Your own library card.

And I see you even checked out
a few books for yourself.

[grunts, groaning]

- [shushes]
- [Charlie Brown] Good grief.

[jazz playing]
