01x13 - Terrible Five and One - Joggernaut

Post by bunniefuu »

From out of the pages of DC Comics comes

the world's newest and greatest

superhero, Plastic Man. He

can spring, he can stretch,

he can fly, he can bounce,

he can change his shape,

and he can even dance.

Each week, Plastic Man will face the

world's greatest. greatest collection of

villains.

There's action. There's

comedy.

There's danger.

There's penny. There's bad

luck cooler.

There's plenty for everybody on the

Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show.

Eat your heart out, paint man!

Now to draw the power.

I freed you, computer head, and now my

solar energy machine will reactivate you.

Now I have a plan and only one

more to go.

Isn't this romantic, Plaz?A

moonlightPicnic. You bet. Nothing

better than a full moon and chocolate

shakes.

Hmm Perfect. Three shakes on the

house. Hope you didn't forget the coconut

topping. The Chief.

I wonder if the Chief does this on

purpose. Plastic Man. The world's worst

criminals are mysteriously breaking out

of prison, and I think Disco Mummy

is next to escape. That could be a

disaster, Chief. And Speaking of

disasters, clean up that shake before you

go. The chief is

always so concerned about me.

So there's someone helping those villains

escape. I'm going

down.

This should stop them. Plastic Man

isn't in my plans.

You can thanks, so let's Plastic Man

get-- This just

isn't one of my days. Suffering

surface, Plaza's been melted into a

plastic pancake. We'd better scoop himup.

Class, whoever's helped on those villains

escaped has one powerful rain machine.

At this point, Ola, I'm inclined to agree

with you. Now, could you get some ice

cubes to harden me up?Sure, class.

If I'm not mistaken, Penny, that Solex

character was using some kind of

solar-powered ray. And I just read about

a new experimental solar plant that was

just built. HmmThat could be a

good place to start. Roger, Plant.

Silence. I've demonstrated my

power by freeing all of you from prison.

I go by the name of Solex, and

with my solar energy machine, I will

be the most powerful criminal on Earth.

But why did you free us?Yes, why?

I can use all of you. And since

I freed you, you're all indebted to me.

And you will serve me in my crimes.

Computer Head serves no end.

I'm a captain. I give orders, not

take them.

You'll refuse this opportunity I

give you. Me too. And we take orders from

no one. That's right, sweetie.

We work alone, and we're leaving. You

fools!

Miserable animals, no one turns

solars down. When I get through with

them, they will come crawling back at me.

So you say someone is tapping into your

solar satellite?That's right. Our

satellites gather sunlight and then beam

it down to our plant, where we convert it

into electricity. It's as if someone

is siphoning away our power. There could

be a connection between the trouble at

this new plant and that machine that

Solex used. And he obviously freed those

villains for a reason. If I could catch

one, it might lead me to Solex. I've got

a meeting with the other plant officials

to try and find a solution. Good. See

what you can come up with and I'll

contact you later. Right.

It's the chief?Urgent plastic man. Half

ape is going on a rampage right this

minute at a jewelry store in town. Looks

like I'm gonna get my chance to catch one

sooner than I thought. Chief, we're on

our way.

Class, something's wrong. It won't

start. According to the computer, the

jet's been sabotaged. But who?

Whoever it is is obviously one step ahead

of us. But we've got to stop half ape.

There's only one thing to do.

Run out on me with me!

This race immobilized me!

Do you like that half, ehThere'll be

more! Sox

stole from me! No!

The jewelry store is just up ahead.

Oh, we're too late. It's the

Chief. Loved up again, Plastic Man.

Let's see if this time maybe you can

catch the weed. The weed?Yes. He's

at the government base right this minute.

I'm gonna really shake a leg this time,

Chief. Instead of shaking, why don't you

try running with them?

This secret formula will allow me to

complete my experiments, and then I'll

have the world at my mercy.

I'll take that weed. And

this is only the

beginning. I hope we make it on time.

My bad luck must be with us. We're too

late on this one, too. No sign of the

weed. It looks like Solex beat us here.

Solex?What's he up to?If we're

going to find out, I've got to do one of

two things. What's that plus?I've either

got to get faster, or we got to fix this

jet.

You robbed an electronics factory, then

Solex stopped me. I robbed a

museum, and Solex took all the precious

artifacts right out of my hands.

We've got to stop him. He's making it

impossible for us to commit crime. We're

desperate. I'm afraid there's only one

person who can help stop Solex, and

that's Plastic Marylin.

Then it's settled. We've no choice but

to contact Plastic Man.

It's a good thing I know a mechanic with

a garage. One thing's for sure, it was

Solex who sabotaged our jet. And we've

got to find out why he's after the other

villains.

Poppin' parakeets, a hawk! And there's

some kind of note in its mouth. It's a

message for me. It says to go to Marshall

Swamp for some urgent information. Who's

it from?It doesn't say. Just to be there

tonight, blindfolded. Oh, Plas,

it could be a trap. Are you gonna go?

Penny, all I can say is get the jet

warmed up and don't forget the blindfold.

The message said a remote-controlled boat

will pick me up.

Maybe you should peek, Plas. I can't,

Hoola. Superheroes are too honest.

Well, we'll wait here and keep our

fingers crossed.

Now, if I remember, the message said 20

feet up the bank.

may take the blindfold off, plastic

man! Clam!

Surprise, plastic man! Have you met the

others?

So, it was a trap!

So, it was you who tricked me here.

No trick, Plastic Man. Solex is

terrorizing us, and we need your help

to stop him. He's making it

impossible to commit any crimes. His

powerful solar machine is invincible.

We'll do anything if you stop,

Solex. Even turn ourselves

in. HmmThat's an offer I

can't refuse. Okay?I'll help you.

But you must keep your promise to turn

yourselves in. Oh! We

promise! Yeah! I'll do

my best and contact you later. Thank you,

Plastic Man. We'll stay right

here. That

plastic sap! He believed

us! Imagine

us turning ourselves in.

After Plastic Man defeats Solex for us,

then we'll destroy Plastic Man.

And both our enemies will be out of the

way.

Our plant still hasn't been able to

operate for over a week. All we know is

the guy who might be siphoning your solar

power goes by the name of Solex. If we

can't find Solex, we're going to have to

lure him to us. How are we going to do

that?Simple, Hola Hola. I'm going to

disguise myself as one of the escaped

villains and commit a crime.

Okay, Penny, now for the fake money. Then

I'll set off the fake alarm.

This has gotta work.

Rowl! Growl! Please don't take half-Ape's

money. Stop trying to

fool me, Plastic Man.

Call me Plastic Man. How could Solex have

known it was players?I don't know, but we

just can't stand here and let Plaz get

zapped.

Hooda, wait! Now I'll take care of your

clever friends.

I'll stop you, so what?

How can you when I'm going to face off

you and your friends?

I won't be needing this portable model

any longer. And besides, you serve

a much better purpose here.

You notice that beam cuts easily through

solid metal. Just think what it'll

do to plastic.

You won't get away with this, Alex.

But I can. Let's put it this

way, I'd prefer you didn't get away with

it. In a few minutes, you and your

friends won't be carried about anything.

Players, can you get out from the clams?

That first blast of Sonix's r*pe

left me too weak. Weep and love,

we're gonna be shishkapuffs by that

blasted team. That plastic fool

let us down and got caught in a trap. I

never thought I'd live to see the day,

but we're going to have to help

BlasticHow

revolting.

Remind me to never underestimate my bad

luck. Look what's coming now. Oh, no,

it's the other villains. This

just hasn't been our day. We saw

what happened, Plastic Man. We've come

to. True! True

I can't say it! What he's

trying to say is...

We've come to... to..

real! They'll start the rain!

Remember our deal, Plastic Sweetie?

Now you stop, Solex!

My strength has returned, and I can get

out from these clamps!

Now Penny and Hula can join me. Thanks,

Bass. This is one time I can do without

bracelets. I never thought I'd say thanks

to you guys. Just stop,

Solex. That I intend to do

right now. Penny, radio for the plaster

jet. We're going after Solex. All right,

Bass. As soon as I stop Solex,

I'll contact you guys and get ready to

take you backto jail. No need,

plastic man. Yes, because after

you've stopped Solex, we're going to

destroy you.

Penny, operate the tracking system. See

if we can home in on any strong solar

radiation. Class, we've

got some. And according to my

coordinates, it's coming from a mountain

range up ahead.

It must be coming from that building.

Let's go.

Suffering sugar canes. Somebody sure

didn't want anyone coming in here. I hate

to walk in anywhere uninvited, so I

won't. I'll slip in.

And you two are invited. By me. Come on.

Oh, that looks like a larger

version of Solex's energy machine. Boy,

you could get some suntan with that. I

have a feeling, Hula, that Solex isn't

going into the suntan business with that

thing. All right, you are a

plastic man. Solex! How

perceptive of you, as long as

you and your friends escaped my plan. You

can witness as I force those five

villains to serve me with my

large version of my solar energy

machine and the world's greatest villains

worthy under me. I'll be the greatest

criminal of them all. Not

if I can help it, Solex.

You sealed your fake, plastic man.

And you've just unsealed yours,

Solex. He's not

gonna get away that easy.

I like to wrap myself up in my work.

Perfect. After Plastic Man defeats

Solex, we'll show up and defeat Plastic

Man.

Give up, Solex. You're not going

anywhere. What do you think?My

solar energy sword will cut you down your

size! Plant is in

trouble! And now he's in more trouble,

sweetheart. Chump and Java Nuts,

more villains. First we take care of you,

then Plastic Man.

I didn't think I could trust those

villains, but I gotta take care of Solex

first. I always say, fight fire with

fire. He's using light, so I'll use

light. By making myself light

lighter than air. If

I can just figure out how to

immobilize... Don't eat him, operate the

machine! Everyone, after Plastic

Man! This has gotta work.

Bless. You did it. I've got to get out of

here. Five down and one to go.

Starts by my own ray. While

he's fixed in the beam, I'll bring him

down. Thanks for the

use of your machine, Solex. And don't

send us the electrical bill. But there's

one thing I'm curious about. Just who are

you, Solex?It's.

It's the solar plant official.

Yes, it was me all along.

I wanted to be the most powerful criminal

on Earth, and I could have bid if those

five fools would have served me. You

could never be as great as us. Well,

you'll all have plenty of time to fight

over it in prison.

Good thing that case is all wrapped up.

Yeah, that was one of your toughest yet,

class. And lucky for you, it

wasn't too tough, or you'd be on the

unemployment line. I will say one

thing, though. You had good

qualifications for this assignment. How's

that, Chief? When you changed into a

balloon, you had to be full of

plenty of hot air. Well,

Chief, I do my best.

Joggy Baby, it's time to leave if you

want to steal that new energy thing. Game

on, my luscious Amazon suite. This new

energy thing, as you call it, will be my

key to unlock the fabulous Amazon City of

Gold. But the professor and his

hot new invention will be guarded by

Plastic Man, Joggy. If Plastic Man

gets in my way, I'll turn him into

Plastic Muck. Oh, Joggy,

I just love it when you

Mad. Come, girls. We've got a date with a

riverboat.

Well, everything looks peaceful enough.

Professor Friday, what exactly does your

energy machine do?Well, Penny, I've

invented an energy machine that can

change a special Amazon mud into pure

energy. And that special mud comes from

Cortez Swamp. Well, that's right. The

energy ray hits the mud, which burns with

a flame as hot as the sun.

Hey, wait a minute!

She does this to me on purpose, you know.

Plastic Man, we've had reports that

Juggernaut's in the area. Juggernaut will

do anything to get the energy machine so

he can use it to steal the treasure from

the Amazon city of gold. You'll be in

constant danger every minute.

And loving it.

Here it comes. You both know what to do.

As I was saying, one of the properties of

my energy ray is that it hardens plastic.

Claus, look out! It's

Juggernaut!

This pitch-back niche should send

Juggernaut back where he belongs.

That pitiful plastic man thinks he's seen

the last of me. Let's see him stop a

human cannonball.

Lias, he's coming back! What better way

to catch a human cannonball

plastic cannon. I'll help you,

class.

So much for the plastic pipsqueak. Now

for the professor and his energy machine.

All right, girls, let's grab the

professor, tie up a few loose ends,

and get swinging.

You're kind of cute, Profy baby.

Okay, girls. Next stop, the Swamp

of Cortez. And don't spare the

vines.

My bad luck messed things up again.

Oh, it's all right, Hula. Everyone had a

little bad luck. Come on, let's see about

class.

Plas, are you all right?Yeah,

I think the... The packs of the

ray are beginning to wear off. Now to

get you two unwrapped, then we'll head to

Cortez Swamp to rescue the professor and

his invention.

Poppin' pineapples, Plas, there's a fork

in the river. I see, Hola, which way to

Cortez Swamp?I thought the professor told

you. No, not me. We've got to find

someone who knows where that swamp is.

How are we ever gonna find someone here

who can give us directions to Cortez

Swamp?A little to the left,

a little more. Juarez! Juarez

Balboa! Hula hula, my

old buddy. I don't believe it, in the

middle of the Amazon jungle. Hula, what

are you doing in the middle of Balboa

Park estates?Look out. Oh,

Park Estates. We're in the middle of the

Amazon jungle. Not for long. I've

subdivided the entire area. In two weeks,

this will be a thriving community. But

what are you doing here?We need

directions to Cortez Swamp.

Let me see. Uh, yes, 6

miles due east.

OK, Professor Cortez

Swamp. Now, how do I work the

machine?I won't tell you. You'll

tell me, or your next home will be the

bottom of the swamp. All right. Adjust

the dial to mine and press the red

button. That's all I needed to know.

Look, Joggy. It's a plastic meddler, and

it's Plastic Jet. What do we do,

Joggy?You just leave Plastic

Man to me!

There it is. Cortez Swamp. I just

hope we beat Juggernaut there. I'll glide

down silently and scout around. You two

stay here.

Here comes that plastic pinhead. Oh,

one plastic man coming up, Johnny. Or

should I say, going down. I'll have to

say one thing for you, plastic man. You

sure get wrapped up in your work.

Let me help you unwind.

I sure wish he wouldn't help me.

Come on, girls. Let's grab a mud and

split. The Amazon city of gold

awaits. Bye-bye, Professor.

Plaz, look out! A

little unwanted company. This balloon

should be more than a mouthful. Sorry,

big fella, but there's no possible way

for you to harm me. However...

I've got to save my special dream boat

from that scaly lizard. The plastic

grappling lets you do the trick.

Thanks for rescuing me. What do we do now?

There are two things we have to do.

Number two is catch Juggernaut. What's

the first thing, players?I've got to take

a shower. Hold all my calls.

Except the Chief. I see you're hard at

work playing in the mud. But I can

explain, Chief. Never mind your rubbery

explanations. Juggernaut's been sighted

at the Amazon City of Gold. He must be

stopped. Right,

Chief. Oh, sorry about that.

The side of the mountain is covered with

that special mud. OK, girls,

stand back and watch what happens.

Joggy baby. Oh, you did it.

The energized mud burned a hole right

through the mountain. The Amazon city of

gold is mine.

We're too late. They got all the

treasure. Hey, they dropped

this. Just the break we

needed. We'll use the diamond in our

computer to find Juggernaut. Come on to

the plastic jet. I've

located Juggernaut on the skull players.

Juggernaut's still got the professor's

energy machine. If he zaps me, it'll

petrify my plastic body. I've got to get

to his hideout first and surprise

him. Here he comes now. I'll change into

a barbell and he'll never know I'm here.

We've come home much richer than we left.

Now for a little workout.

got to get to that energy machine. You

girls were great today. As your reward,

take an autographed picture of me out of

penny cash. HuhSurprise!

Hold a penny cash!

After it.

Don't worry, players. Everything's under

control. You may

have won

this time, plastic man. But you'll never

catch me. You see, plastic man, I've

planned my escape. Not so

fast, Juggernaut.

Bottom floor, jail.

Well, did I do good, Chief?I caught

Juggernaut and recovered the treasure,

and rescued the professor, and saved his

new energy invention. Weren't you leaving

out one small detail?Why?

Because you let Juggernaut escape in the

first place. He melted a hole in the

Amazon mountain of gold. So naturally, I

volunteered you to repair the hole. If

you start right now, you should have it

repaired by the time you're a hundred.

Oh, well, at least it's a steady jump.
