postal delivery thanks mailbird but

where were you yesterday did you bring

any mail

yesterday but well I uh tried py but by

the time I got here it was today W mil

bird what's taking so long papy land

isn't that pig I don't know Binky

there's just a lot of ground to cover

well got to fly papy next up is doodle

Dunes where Doodle Bug and his family

live doodle Dunes gosh mailbird that's

at the other end of papy land shouldn't

you be going to Buddy Bear's Hamlet

it's right next door oh no I went there

yesterday if you were there yesterday

why didn't you come here with our mail

because Elma that's not the route on my

delivery map delivery

map let me have a look at that all

righty okay peppy but be quick about it

whoa mail bird I think you better come

inside we should study this map some

more but I've got deliveries to make

advice trust me once you've got a good

plan to follow you should be able to get

started okay mailbird let's spread this

map out and take a closer

look oh I see some ways already we can

improve on this map hi papy hi mailbird

oh hi buddy I saw you fly over here so I

thought I'd get my mail I've already

delivered it your mail buddy bear oh

that was yesterday I want today's mail

you'll have to get today's mail tomorrow

like always I have a route to follow you

know okay mailbird when you bring

today's mail tomorrow could you bring

tomorrow's mail too of course not buddy

you know the rules okay see you tomorrow

mail bird soong buddy mailbird why do

you fly here to the cabin then all the

way to doodle Dunes then back down to

cran Canyon back over here to color

mountain and then you swing back to

Chucky's place because that's the

official delivery route policy but

mailbird if you always went to the

closest place you'd be able to get

everybody in papy land their mail on

time oh I don't know pppy official

delivery route postal policy you know

official mailbird did you make up this

route well uh yes I did then you can

change it too

here let me draw you a picture so you

can see what I mean mail

bird okay boys and girls get your paper

and your pencils ready so you can draw

along with me before we get started

today boys and girls let's take a look

at a preview of what I'm going to draw

today

there let's get started I'm going to

start out by drawing the mother H and

we'll put the chicks right behind her

one two three right in this area here

let's start out with the mother hand and

I'm going to start off by

drawing the H's head which is a curved

line like that you see that and starting

right here let's bring that line down

and

up and loop it around like that and

another looping

line and one more right

there okay now let's draw the hen's beak

right in this area right here so let's

just connect

that

and there we

go now we'll put one ey which is a

circle just like

so and a little dot right in the middle

you see

that now we'll just put a curve line

there and another curve

line and bring it back down very good

now let's draw the H's

body and that's going to be a

large curve line just like

that and starting over here bring that

line

there and we'll do the tail feathers one

big looping line another looping

line and another one

all right let's draw the hen Wing right

here and that's a curve line just like

that very nice now let's draw the H's

feet so we'll draw a curve line there

and another one right next to

it and a curve line there and another

one right next to it now let's

continue and we'll just bring that that

line around like

that and around and back

over and continue around and stop right

there now we'll do the other

foot we'll

just bring that line around and connect

it very nice all right now let's

begin the uh three ch chicks we'll Begin

by drawing the first one here we go

let's just put a curve line like

that and starting right here we'll bring

this line around and

up and do the tail feathers two looping

lines like

that and we'll put a curve line for the

wing and we'll do the beak we put the

beak right here on the little chick just

like that and one dot for the eye now

let's do the other one a curve

line the tail

feathers and bring this line around like

that and back

up

and the

beak another

wing and a DOT for the

eye now let's do the third little chicky

here we go a curve

line a small little line right there and

a looping line and another looping line

for the tail feathers and let's just

bring this line

around just

like

so now we'll draw the beak right here

here we go and that's just a

little shape like that and we'll draw

the wing that's a curve

line and now one dot for the little

chick's eye all

righty now let's draw the the feet on

our little chicks and that's just one

little line there another little line

there another line line right there for

the second one and another line there a

small line there and another line right

there now let's just

continue so we can finish the little

chick's feet we'll just put one line

there and another one

little chicks I don't get it Dr are you

mama chicken figured out the best way to

go then one the little chick began

following the plan everything went

smoothly and he didn't have any more

problems that's right mailbird once

you've got a good plan if you just

follow it your rout will go smoothly and

you'll finish your deliveries every day

to tell you that I'm starting my own

post office Turtle Express I may be slow

but I'm sure I can deliver the mail fast

than a mail bird oh mail bird what are

the mail out on time from papy so we

yellow crayon to color the first

chick I wonder what color you're going

choose whatever it is I'll bet you it's

hen's head A nice bright yellow

oops don't worry if you break your CR

cran see how I'm using the side of my

cray when I break a cray you can use any

portion of the cray so don't worry if

you break a cray it's not a

mamaan oh look at that very nice

this color is called magenta can you say

magenta it's a pretty

color at

nice do you know what a mama hand sounds

like I think it sounds like this

oh dear papy's being a little silly here

when he

colors all

righty and I think I'll just color in

the top of the

that notice I'm leaving a little white

dot just

to make that area look very shiny you

see that you see that white dot I'm

leaving one two three white dots

nice now I'm going to color

in the hands

chicks you can add your own ideas to the

time where you can add your own ideas

that's right look at that I think I'll

just put a board across there like that

whoops there we go and we just indicate

some wood like that and another board

going behind the little chicks just like

so and continue that over there like

that and and I think I'll

just show

some show some dirt underneath the

chicken and the little baby chicks and

maybe just a

little

straw and twigs and hay or what have you

on the bottom here we'll just

add some green on the top of that like

that

yes and then let's just add a cloud

that's a good

idea just like that there we go three

colorful chicks and a mama chick very

nice hey let's see yours fellas what do
