hi everybody I'm so glad you've tuned in

are you ready for a show full of

colorful Adventure drawing and music and

lots of fun then you've come to the

right place that's right boys and girls

Almer land best show on TV oh Elmer pep

pep I've got a problem well maybe I can

help you sure can pep look at my

picture I'm

painting okay it looks great but

why haven't you finished it that's the

problem pep I can't I want to paint the

leaves and stem green but I don't have

any green paint well let's see how I can

help you uh I see you have some blue

paint yep and I see you have some yellow

paint

yep then you have everything you need to

make green I do

certainly watch what happens when I

mix

yellow and

blue it

makes

green wow that's awesome thanks pep no

problem at what friends for hey

and py land today I feel like taking a

walk to see some of my pyic pals how

this is one sharp place isn't it boys

look at all the colors and different

types of trees why there's a pine tree

and an oak tree and a fur tree why I'm

delicious berries

to go with my honey sandwich it sounds

like a good lunch break buddy enjoy

surprise doodle bug you sure know how to

make an entrance well that's right my

how to make a great doodle that I bet is

anyone like me I'm way too tall a lot

taller than anyone else I'm not any fun

to be with if I wasn't right here on

this path I bet nobody nobody would come

visit

I dug a new tunnel from my place to here

just to see you want to trade knock

knock jokes no no maybe some other time

cheer up Woody you have friends

everywhere Chucky came here just to see

you why py land is where you have your

roots and your leaves to show you what

we mean Woody I'd like to draw a special

picture for you for for me for

your pencils crayons or markers ready if

you want to draw with me now and don't

forget some paper you need something to

draw on all right let's get

started all righty we're going to draw

someone very

special and I'm going to

start by

drawing some

leaves just like so

go round and round and round we

go keep going until they

connect good

there are many ways to show that you are

a good friend can you think of any right

you can listen share did somebody say

help out good show that you care those

are all very good

suggestions now let's

continue I'm starting to see

someone here we go

go now let's do the same to the other

side

just like that

now let's draw some

eyes a small circle right

there and another Circle right next to

it okay let's draw another small circle

within that

circle like

so good

and some small lines on the top of his

eye

here one

there another one right

there and the bottom of the

eye two more curved lines like that

good now let's draw some

curve

lines

there now let's draw the

nose

and just like

that good all right if you want to catch

up now is a good time you could make up

a great story about this drawing boys

and girls use your imagination and later

on try writing your very own

story then you could tell your story to

someone

special okay now let's put a

smile by drawing a

line right

good and bring

this other line over here and back

up and let's just put a few lines here

one

there another one there and another one

just like

that and let's put a line

there kind of makes it look rounded now

doesn't

it and we'll just bring that line up a

little bit and just show another line

one let's draw some arms on our

cartoon bring

around and and stop right there now

up and bring it around and

stop now I'd like to

indicate more of this effect up

here now I'd like to show more leaves

right in this area here some small

many curve lines as you'd

like I'll indicate a few more

so it makes it look nice and full

now I'd like to introduce you to a very

good friend of mine picture come

it this is the picture I drew Woody and

we're both in the same

picture wow you drew a picture of me it

must mean you think I'm your good friend

you certainly are you're really a good

friend thanks for caring about me py of

course Woody that's what friends are

for wow py that was a special drawing

and I was a star now I know how many

good friends I have knock knock who's

Woody thanks Sam that was a tender sign

thanks py I'm always here when you need

Sam well fellas from one friend to

another I have to get back to the cabin

so we can color the picture we drew see

girls whoa py that was Radical not to

mention fast too Elmer are you going to

color now py you bet bank will you mix

colors to wait and see okay boys and

girls let's color our

picture H now where am I point

at mailbird here special delivery

for papy here's the Crayons I borrowed

thanks mailbird you came in the nick of

time I was about to call her using my

imagination

let's get started boys and girls

all righty oh it's our friend Woody and

I'm going to draw color in his leaves

here and we'll

just start filling that in like

[Music]

so

and fill that

in there's so many different greens to

choose from

pey chose

a kind of a dark green it's not too

light but it's not too dark it's kind of

in

between it's

a perfect green for Woody

[Music]

leaves fill that

in there we go

just have fun with

it fill it right in there we

go all right I'm going to color

in Woody

bark and I'm using a

nice brown crayon for his bark but you

can you can choose any color that you

wish

and there's so many different colors in

a box of

[Music]

crayons so don't be afraid to choose a

variety of

colors use your imagination be as

creative as you like

there we go notice papy's leaving a

little bit of a highlight or a white

spot and that kind of

indicates that there's a little shine on

Woody's cheeks there just to add a

little Sparkle to the coloring there we

go makes the picture

look fun and

exciting

there and we'll

continue like

so some trees

have Gray

Bark kind of a dark grayish almost like

a black bark and some trees have red

bark actually they do some have light

light green and dark green

colors on their

[Music]

bark

and what is a big old

tree there we

go all righty let me continue uh

coloring in Woody's

Branch okay

Branch there we go and we'll move to the

other

side and C in the other Branch there we

go there well I think I'm going to

[Music]

use kind of a golden yellow crayon for

the inside

of

Woody's mouth or kind of looks like part

of his

lip there we

go let's

choose

green kind of a different green it's

almost looks the same but it is a little

different where the

grass or the

roots are have grown there we

go those very large

roots and how about a little color in

his nose here whoops thaty broke a

cray but that's no problem I continue

coloring doesn't hinder me here we go

and a little blue

sky for the background like

so and you

can color your drawing any way you'd

like again just have fun with it be

loose and enjoy

it there my picture is all colored let's

see the pictures you colored hey they

look great good job lots of different

styles colors and

ideas H I was hoping I'd hear that

special sound uh you know you know the

one I mean I sure do the Hall of frame

sound like this

not quite Elmer the hall oframe sounds

more like

this and away we

go wow this place is user friendly look

at all these pictures from friends like

you each one is special to me

Elmer you know boys and girls spending

time with my friends is one of my
