it's a cold winter day today a super

sad I just got a letter from my old

surfing buddy cousin buch he was going

to come here for a holiday but now he

says he's not coming he's not why not he

says Winter's no good for a holiday it's

too cold and boring he doesn't like

winter but Winter's so much fun yeah

there's so many things to see and do in

winter like running in the rain and

playing in the snow there's never a dull

moment in

Winter if only cousin Butch knew how

much fun winter can be I've got an idea

why don't you write him a letter telling

them all the good things about winter

yeah then he might change his mind and

go on vacation with you great idea I'm

going to go and write a letter to Butch

right now but before you do let's

oh that's a great thing to say about

winter here's something else sometimes

it gets so cold in Winter it snows

and there's lots of fun things you can

do in winter like I

skating and jumping in rain puddles or

going dog

sledding and you can dress up in warm

winter clothes and play all sorts of

winter sports like

snowboarding wo that looks just like

surfing cousin Butch loves surfing best

of all you can use the snow to make make

snow dogs that's a super fun thing to do

in

winter why would you want to make a snow

dog when you could make the ultimate

snow animal a snow

Kitty all done my letters finished

cousin Butch is going to love reading

about all the fun things you can do in

Winter there's just one

problemo what problemo I don't have any

winter pictures to send with the letter

I've got an idea let's put up lots of

winter decorations and then send cousin

Butch a photo of them great idea try

then you'll know exactly what winter fun

looks like branches gleam like diamonds

rare scent of snowfall fills the

air aut the leaves have gone

away now it's Winter's turn to play

Frost ice is the window

pain now it's Winter's game to

a carrot for his nose for his eyes a

gather up your seding gear we won't find

the Winter Chill while we're riding down

you can play in the snow play games

like um snowball fight when when does

the the snow come is it here all year

round no when does the snow come when

some places stay warm can you explain it

um some places stay warm like Australia

it's like this part is winter and the

other part of Summer what's it like in

Alaska it's very

freezy you need to have dumster I get to

have have close to head to toe

winter is we've got winter snowflakes

he liked it so much he's changed his

everybody and now that you know all the

good things to do in Winter you can do

them too what's a season a season is

like when it's like winter summer fall

spring yeah those are Seasons what does

winter mean it's very cold really yes do

you like winter no how come you don't

like winter cuz it's very cold too cold

what kind of animals like the

winter um a polar

bear polar bear yeah what's a polar bear

a polar bear is like um It's like white

and it likes live in the snow

what kind of animals like the winter

Cassidy um Polar Bears and Penguins

pinguins what's a penguin it's this type

of bird that can't

fly what do animals do in the

winter uh winter is about when it's cold

and in the animals hibernate the animals

what hibernate and they sleep

hybernate is like sleep uh-huh is it a

big sleep yeah or is it a little one

that's a big sleep ooh how big really

really big someone said that you could

um hibernate what does hibernate mean um

you can take a deep sleep in the winter

I can take a deep sleep yes oh thank

it's when you well well people don't do

it it's when you sleep throughout the

my flowers they were here at the start

of winter but now they're all gone where

have all the flowers gone they're

waiting for Springtime before they come

out again then how will we get some

flowers to give great aunt Wolfie H

we'll need to think and while we're

and we want to give her a nice bunch of

winter flowers to cheer her up but there

aren't any flowers in the garden because

it's winter and flowers don't grow in

winter so what are we going to do I know

I'll plant some new winter flowers in

the

garden Razzle's flowers will be good for

Springtime but we need some flowers now

we have to find some flowers that are

bright and colorful all year round even

in Winter I know some flowers that are

bright and colorful in Winter paper

flowers great idea bmax let's make paper

flowers to make Aunt wolfy feel better

about her winter

cold I'll get some bright colored paper

and I'll get some scissors and I'll make

Aunt wolfy a nice hot lemon drink that

always makes you feel better when you

have a winter cold you won't catch me

planting winter flowers not since the

time somebody planted a cactus in my

litter box talk about a sting in the

tail

winter yes what does winter mean it

means that it's

cold what kinds of things do you like to

do in the winter I like to ride bikes

and um

sleds what's a sled um you slide down on

the snow can you warm up in the

winter yeah if you put on a fireplace

and get some hot cocoa you

what kinds of clothes do you like to

wear in

winter um long sleeve shirts I wear

pants and a long sleeve shirt and boots

and socks what do you wear in winter um

a jacket and boots and a

scarf how can you tell which is summer

clothes and which is winter clothes

winter clothes means you wear jackets

and coats and and and some

boops how come there are no leaves on

the trees in Winter because because it's

winter time the leaves come off do they

really uh-huh the leaves fall off and

they just play in in and snows on top of

it what happens to the plants and the

trees in

Winter they just die out the seeds it

just goes really down into the ground

and then the snow covers all the plants

and trees but sometimes the trees still

stay where they are trees don't go under

ground like flowers tree say up
