Simi and I took a trip to the

monsterdale Museum of Art this morning

and we had a month's terrific time the

museum had so many paintings some were

colorful some had dots and some looked

so real oh yeah now I want to make a

painting that's good enough for a museum

it will be my monster piece I can't wait

to see it well I'm off don't want to be

late for Monster Bingo swooza bye Grammy

Willie looks so happy I want to get a

swaggy tail in my painting

first I'll make his body then his head

and now I'll paint really swooshy tail

to be a swoosh not a whoosh

no use I'll never make my paintings

perfect like the ones in the museum

painting is about having fun remember

I think he's gonna need a bath

Willie loves Bass maybe I can paint him

always in the tub

great one bubble bath coming right up

he really looks so silly with all those

bubbles

I want to make sure to get that in my

painting okay first release Heading by

now the bubbles a circle here a circle

there ah what's the matter Simon ah this

bubble is supposed to be a circle not an

oval who doesn't love an oval bubble but

it's not right I need to do it over but

that's okay you've got plenty of paper

or not this is my last

I have to be extra careful

no mistakes this time

I just need to paint one blue

no it's the wrong color

that was my last chance now I'll never

make a great painting of Willie never

oh monster meltdown

oh Simon I know you're feeling

frustrated but it'll be okay

take a deep breath put your hands on

your tummy feel your belly rise and fall

in through your nose out through your

mouth it's not hard at all

I just wish I could make my paintings

perfect like the ones in the museum

need to find a museum we can make a

museum right here we'll put all of

Simon's paintings in it that way he'll

see how great they are okay your idea is

paintings in it but my paintings are

perfect enough for a museum art isn't

about being perfect it's about sharing a

special feeling or a special moment

see these are all my paintings of Willy

how marvelous tell me Simi I mean Simon

swoozle what was your inspiration

well

there was a time not long ago in fact it

was just today no painting felt quite

good enough each mistake got in my way

but in the end thanks to my friends and

a little reflection

I learned that there is nothing wrong

with a bit of imperfections

this painting is a willy with a spot

held in the sky there's a mark on a zoo

and a little touch here but it shows off

his twinkly eye it does

here's Billy in the backyard he can stay

up there all day his tail has a wish

instead of a switch but it shows how he

loves to play inspired eyes red and

green and aquamarine a Charming shade of

blue really swishy swirly Wendy whirly

doing what he loves to do why am I some

paintings look quite serious and some

look kinda silly but my pet's so great

that I'll dedicate each of them to my

dog it took a while to find your style

but married

that was so much fun making a museum
