a trip with Mom and

Dad it was a lovely morning and Connie

was feeling very

excited she was going out for a trip

with her mommy and

daddy we'll have a great time I always

have fun with my mom and

dad Connie and her mommy and daddy

crossed the woods and came to a little

pool doesn't that water look really

lovely hey Connie do you feel like going

for a swim oh yes

hooray Connie paddled in the cool water

while her mommy lay down in the

[Music]

grass she was splashing around happily

when

suddenly Oh Daddy my feet won't touch

the bottom what can I do oh Connie

that's nothing to worry about all you

have to do is paddle with your feet and

you'll float along just like a little

boat

[Music]

that's very good Connie now you know how

to

swim you showed me how Connie was having

a lovely time with her mommy and

daddy but

then oh come on you two I think there's

a storm on its

way

mommy's right it's going to rain I think

it's time for us to

[Music]

go sure enough the rain was soon pouring

down now snails like getting wet but

cows don't so they hurried to find a

place where they could

[Music]

shelter conon thought how CL in safe she

felt with her mommy and

daddy when the rain finally stopped the

family set off home

[Music]

again but when they reached the river

they got a big

surprise oh Mommy look how much water

there is in the river oh yes so much

rain has fallen that it's filled right

up and now it's too deep for us to

cross well in that case we'll have to go

back home across the

[Music]

mountains they walked and walked and

finally they came to where the mountains

[Music]

began it's nearly night time isn't it

daddy where are we going to sleep I know

a nice dry cave where we can stay follow

me it isn't

far Connie was very happy she was having

a great adventure with her mommy and

daddy but when they got to the cave they

saw there was a great big rock blocking

the entrance hello

there hey hello it's my friend Timmy

hello Connie this is my cave but I can't

get in the wind and rain made this rock

fall down I tried to move it but it's

too heavy for

[Music]

me it certainly is a very big rock but

if we push together I'm sure we can move

it out of the way you're right let me

come and lend you a

[Music]

hand

Connie was happy to see that her mommy

and daddy had got the rock

moving her mommy and daddy were very

strong and they soon rolled the rock out

of the way hey you did it that's really

good mom and dad thank you so much for

helping me you are the

best well Timmy now it's our turn to ask

you for some help could we spend the

night in your cave do you think oh of

course you can I'd be

delighted before it got dark Connie's

mommy and daddy collected some food for

serer Bill found some juicy

apples and meanwhile Molly's friends the

ants brought her some delicious

walnuts

[Music]

[Music]

that night Connie slept in the cave next

to her mommy her daddy and Timmy the

[Music]

bear when they woke up the next day the

Sun was shining brightly in the blue sky

[Music]

well I think the time has come for us to

go home thank you very much for letting

us sleep in your cave Timmy I was very

happy that you came to

stay and we really enjoyed our time with

you didn't we Connie oh yes it was so

much

fun it was so exciting to spend the

night in Timmy's cave Connie's trip out

had been full of Adventures and there

could be more on the way home but if

things got difficult she knew her mommy

and daddy would always be there to help
