My spaceship is a big mess (laughing)

but my friends helped me clean it all up.

Today we're going to see how working together

can be as much fun as play.

And when you work together, the work gets done faster.

I cleaned my room. I watered the lawn-

Maybe that's why Dooley's letter of the day is W for work.

- Exactly, and those are all the things I've done today.

- I bet you felt ready for a break and some fun.

- I sure did. I didn't want to work anymore.

- I bet the kids inside are ready for a break too.

- Actually, Mrs. Z, we're having a lot of fun

working together.

- I guess that's because if you like what you're doing,

We were having so much fun, we forgot we were cleaning.

- Yeah. But now that I'm finished practicing,

I'd really like to play basketball with someone.

- All my purp pupplies, I mean work supplies are put away.

but we're working together to clean it all up.

Now we can find any book we need.

Hi everybody, it's me, Dooley.

Ever since my ship landed here on earth

I've learned lots about your planet.

Today I learned all about work and play.

Marty made a mess, fixing the space ship

but the kids help us clean it up.

Nick didn't want to help because he wanted to play instead.

But his mom helped him see that even work can seem

like play when we all work together.

And all my friends learned how to understand each other

just a little better and clean up the spaceship.
