the Christmas

tree winter had come

and with it the first

snowflakes Connie woke up and was

surprised to see the

snow

oh it was the first snowfall Connie had

ever seen she thought it was rain

painted white oh what lovely

rain Connie saw her friends playing in

the snow and she thought well I want to

play like my friend the rabbit

does you can't even sleep in peace here

annoyed it's really

cold oh hi Connie do you want to skate

Connie the rain is cold that's snow and

it falls when winter comes and soon

Connie what we call Christmas will be

here mother Molly also told Connie that

it was time to decorate a tree oh I'll

get one her mother said it would be a

great idea and she was sure Connie would

bring the prettiest tree in the forest

that made Connie very

happy and when the snow stopped falling

Connie set off to look for a Christmas

tree

this tree is no good it's too

[Music]

small this tree is too

big oh look all the trees are so big

[Music]

here Connie was happy and kept on

looking for the right

[Music]

tree I found it what a pretty

tree hey Connie I see you're not scared

of the cold what a brave little cow you

are the snow has covered up all the

paths do you want me to help you I can

help no I only want take this tree to my

little house you can't take it I live

here with my little

children don't worry I'll look for

another one thanks

Connie Connie do you like acorns too no

no I just want this tree to take home

with me to decorate because it's ever so

pretty and nobody lives in it true

nobody lives in it but it's very

important for the pigs thanks to it we

can

eat Connie was sad but soon she became

happy thinking that she could help her

friends the pigs by making the acorns

fall thanks

[Music]

Connie found another tree she liked but

before she took it away she checked to

see that nobody lived in it and nobody

ate its fruits hello my dear little cow

can I help you at all thanks Mr Oak will

you come home with

me then I can decorate you I'm sorry but

if I go the forest will be

sad don't worry I'll look for another

[Music]

one Connie was getting worried she

thought that if she didn't find the tree

her mother would be sad

so she walked and walked and found

another lovely

tree this tree will look so nice with

decorations on it what are you looking

for I want to take this tree home I'm

going to decorate it but you can't take

it it bres keep the cold away from us

without it will

freeze oh don't worry I'll just have to

go and look for another one

and Connie set off for home a little

disappointed because she hadn't been

able to bring the tree to decorate but

then all of a sudden she stopped in

front of the tree that grew close by her

house Connie was delighted she had found

what she wanted come and see Connie told

her dad that the Trees of the forest

were very important for those who live

there and that you cannot cut them down

why don't we decorate the tree that

grows in the garden

Connie's Mom and Dad thought it was a

great idea and were very proud of Connie

for having so much respect for nature

Christmas I like Christmas and I love

you so much and we love you too our

little darling

and even though Connie would have many

more Christmases to celebrate this was

one she would never forget
