We need a speed boost to outrun him.

- Hey, I bet one of those could give us a speed boost.

They're D shapes!

- Yeah!

D shapes are shapes that have three dimensions:

the length, how long it is from front to back,

the width, how wide it is from side to side,

and the height, how tall it is.

There are lots of D shapes,

but to get a speed boost,

we need the shape that has squares on all of its sides.

We need a cube.

- Let's do it.

Quick, help us find a cube.

Which of these shapes has squares on all sides?

[light music]

The yellow one, yeah!

It's a cube.

[engine revving]

[bright beeping]

Whoo-hoo-hoo!

[upbeat music]

- It worked!

That cube gave us a speed boost!
