because it's time to play the coolest sport around!

Snowboarding,

figure skating,

ice hockey,

bobsledding,

ski racing.

It's all part of the world's greatest

winter sports competition.

It's the Snowflake Games!

And here they come,

Monster Machines from around the world

battling to become the Snowflake Games champion!

[musical car horn honking]

- Hey, it's AJ!

- Glad you could make it.

You're just in time to help me and AJ play

some awesome sports at the Snowflake Games.

Every time we win a sport, we earn a snowflake.

And to be the champions, we need to win this many.

I think it's important you have a warm hat

for playing sports in the cold.

That's quite a choice.

That must be our first sport right over there,

bobsledding!

- Check it out.

To win, we need to slide down this icy track

and cross the finish line as fast as we can.

- Yeah.

And we know how to be the fastest team.

We'll be aerodynamic!

Check it out.

When something is aerodynamic, the air flows over it,

so it can go really fast.

Some shapes are not aerodynamic,

so the air slows them down.

But a bobsled has a shape

that pushes through the air really easily.

It's aerodynamic.

- Come on.

Help turn me into an aerodynamic bobsled.

First, I need steel runners to slide on the ice.

To make the steel runners, say "steel runners."

Steel runners!

Great! Now we just need

an aerodynamic hull

to zoom through the air without slowing down.

But to win, Team Blaze will have to get

to the finish line in seconds!

- What sport is this?

- It's called figure skating.

And to win, you have to wear ice skates

and do jumps and turns and spins!

[cheers]

- Pfft. That looks easy.

- I like that confidence!

Now, as your coach,

it's important I find you the right pair of skates.

Hmm. Let's see.

- [laughs] Stand aside, Coach Pickle.

I'll pick my own skates.

And I choose these.

- Wow, Crusher, those are some super skates you picked.

[whimpering]

to score a goal wins!

Team Bighorn has the puck.

To score the winning goal,

we've got to hit the puck past these Bighorns.

- Yeah.

We can use deflection!

Deflection is when something is moving one way,

it bounces off something else,

and then goes another way.

- Come on. Let's try using deflection like this.

[all chuckling]

If we hit the puck this way,

it'll deflect off the wall

and go here.

Will it go into the goal?

It'll go to a Bighorn.

[mocking laughter]

- Come on.

If we hit the puck this way,

- So then whoever wins the last sport will have six

the ski race!

the Snowflake Medal!

- And if we don't find some way to get past,

So I guess, we'll just have to smash our way through!

- To smash through the hay bales,

we need a force of five.

Yeah, that's it!

- Get ready.

More smashing needed up ahead.

- Oh, man.

We're going to need more force to smash through those boxes,
