is followed closely by

While the hot tuna, offshore
outlaw and reel e bugging

sit in the middle of the
pack with two catches each.

Father-son duo falcon
struggle to hang on with
only one bluefin so far.

Reed: All right, boys,
let's get this boat untied.

Got a little
momentum going now.

We gotta keep it going.

Reed: Yep. All right,
we're outie.

Guess we're getting a
little earlier start today.

Try to beat the crowd.

Hopefully we'll get out there
a little bit ahead of daylight
and find us another fish.

I hope it doesn't take
'til dark to find it.

And even though I really wanna
be catching more tuna, that's
not the most important thing

on my mind when we
leave the docks.

The outer banks is no joke.

We've learned
that in the past.

We've hit the bridge.
We've smashed out windows.

We've almost lost our boat.

So going out with a buddy
system is simply peace
of mind just in case.

Even though I'm no fan
of the northern boats.

are just too dangerous.

100 fathom curve right here.

Pretty much right
where we caught our
fish yesterday morning.

See if we can do it again

The point on the 100
fathom curve is where the
currents come together.

The gulf stream banks up and
that's where the bait is.

And usually the tuna
are right there with it.

We're leading the
pack right now.

And it's local knowledge
like this, that gives us
the upper hand

against the northern fleet.

We just wanna keep
this momentum going
as long as we can.

Zack: We're doing
everything right.

We just need our bite.

Eric: I brought some
balloons for this party,
and some glow sticks.

Adam: We're gonna fish where
the action was yesterday,

out here at the point
on the 100 fathom curve.

We're gonna drift out
off the edge here into
the warm water and.

John-michael: Well,
it's a waiting game.

Adam: We are only setting
on two fish right now.

And with seven kids between
the three of us, two fish
is just not gonna cut it.

And with that one fish a day
quota, we've got to catch
fire or the northern boats

have a pretty good chance
to catch one today.

it's really fishy.

I know they're catching
at the point, but I've
got faith in our spot too.

on energy, fuel as well.
