[Thunder of stampeding feet]

This show contains no calcium,

[Laughs]

Holy hades hot sauce?

Oooh. Sounds blazy.

That's why every level is equipped

With a super spray cola grenade,

In case of fire.

Nestor: gah!

Take it down! Right now!

It's not too high, I measured it.

Don't care!

But it's completely safe,

I even followed the blue prints.

Down! Down! Down-down-down!

I think he wants you to take it down.

Nestor, why are you always cramping my stacking style?

I don't need a reason!

I'm in charge! Down!

That is the third display today he's made me take down.

[Steam hisses]

I know! I'm upset too!

[Whistle sounds, gasping for air]

You think I should march into his office

And say something? Really?

Help! Mouth!

Help? Mouth?

That doesn't even make- ahh!

You drank the hot sauce!

Just a few more seconds, buddy!

[Siren sounds]

Dave, no! It's too powerful!

[Siren wails then stops]

How you doin'?

[Deep voice] need to pee.

Ya. You should probably do that.

Nestor never, ever, ever-ever-ever,

Let's me create the displays I want.

That's not right! You think it's wrong, right?

Which do I what-what?

If I was in charge

There'd be no limits put on creativity! None!

Scaredy...

Fingers are just hand-toes.

That was weird.

Sally: ♪ like a fish out of water,

♪ Fresh from the slaughter,

♪ But one way or another I neeeed to sing... ♪

Scaredy: sally! What happened?

I lost my singing gig at the underwater cabaret

Because the new waitress scared away the customers.

♪ I like my baked potatoes with sour cream and chive, ♪

♪ And bubbles underwater let me know ♪

[Hitting a sharp note] ♪ I'm liiiive!

I was finally getting a taste of fame.

[Wails]

I've been playing on this corner for 3 days

And all I've made is 45 cents and a button!

[Suddenly angry] hey, where's the button?

Looked like chocolate.

We gotta blame the button on this one.

Sally: [growls]

Sally! I know where you can sing.

It's perfect!

Where? Where? Where?!

Together we can show nestor

How great things can be when true creativity

Is unleashed!

Dave, grab the piano!

I'll be [struggling] right behind...

[Farts]

Urrch! Smells like old button.

Scaredy: ...and people love music, right?

♪ Music, happiness!

♪ Singing and dancing might do the trick ♪

♪ But you can't do that with out music! ♪

♪ Music!

There yeah. Okay.

[Glass shatters]

Be careful with that you striped stink-b*mb!

Dave: owww!

Momma: I like her style. She's hired!

She can sing about the specials of the day or something!

Goody-goody-goody!

Mrs. Nestor's mother I would like to be in charge

Of the musical entertainment at the store!

No way!

Scaredy's in charge of the fish!

Nestor: but mother-

[Giggling] okay scaredy,

You're the boss.

What kind of music should I play?

Creativity is never the enemy, sally.

You just go do what you do!

Sally: ♪ women don't want diamonds

♪ Or a single flower,

♪ If you want our love

♪ Buy us milk that's sour.

Customer: not another song!

♪ Best before could mean better after ♪

Customers: someone make her stop. Boooo!

Scaredy: she's great! What talent!

Very creative.

♪ Thank you for shopping here ♪

Philmore: eggs! E-eggs forgot eggs.

♪ Uh, thank you for shopping- ♪

Philmore: ah! Croutons! Dry chunks'o bread.

Gotta have'em croutons!

Whoopsie-doopsie! Need some-

Sally: peacock!

♪ You gotta stop!

♪ We don't care what you forgot ♪

♪ You've got 3 seconds to get out, ♪

♪ Or I'll rip all your feathers out! ♪

Ahh! Ow! Ow!

Customers: so raw. Amazing! I love you, sally!

Saaaaahhlly!

Thank you. I'm here all week.

Nestor: we're out of veal.

Scaredy: customers should never be treated badly.

Dave: not even in song?

No. I'm going to talk to sally about it because-

[Gasp] you're gonna cramp her style?

Crush her creative soaring?

No. But I'm in charge,

So if I think something's wrong

I have to say something.

Like nestor does to you.

Yes, like nestor does to- ahh!

That is what nestor does to me!

[Giggling] I've been carrying that around for months.

Sally: scaredy! I made the grocery section

Of the balsa babbler!

Wow. That's- they have a grocery section?

A fishtastic display of rage that creates

[Shocked gasps]

[Splat]

Customer: oh that's right, it's a store.

I'm proud of you.

Sally's hurting people and probably very bad

For the store and you're doing nothing.

Yep. Heh.

I should get to work.

Which is in the same direction sally went,

But that's just a coincidence.

Sally, do you think that mocking customers

Is the best way to bring up sales?

But the audience loves me and-

And what about spitting tomatoes at customers?

Nice or not so much so?

Scaredy, are you asking me

To stop being mean to customers?

No! Nohh. No-no. Not. At. All.

I'm kind of confused but I think that I will?

Sally: ♪ butter, pickles, waffles in the can ♪

♪ Curds of cheese and rhubarb jam ♪

♪ These are all on sale today ♪

♪ And that means less you'll pay, hey! ♪

[Nervous laugh]

S'been like this all morning. Ugly.

[Jar shatters]

[Growls]

Customers: here it comes. Let him have it.

Spread your wings harsh angel!

I'm sorry, I made a promise to be nice to my customers.

Customers: whaaaat? Booooo!

♪ Bruised apples are the best apples ♪

Oh, I guess she doesn't want to be famous after all.

But I do... I do want to be famous!

[Crying]

Oh boy. Sounds like she's about to lay into someone. Ha!

No sir. I don't think she will.

♪ Nestor's mean, won't give anyone a chance ♪

♪ He thinks he's the boss

♪ But his momma wears the pants ♪

Whaaa?! Stop that!

♪ Shout all you want, you can't scare me ♪

♪ Everyone knows you have no authority ♪

Nestor: [crying] mommy!

[Applause]

[Groans]

Sally: it's okay scaredy!

I'm still being nice to the customers;

Nestor works here.

Shattered walnuts!

[Weeping]

I can't let her mock the staff, dave.

I have to do something.

Sally: ♪ a stinky beaver with a stinky mop ♪

Dave : what about soaring creativity?

Sally: ♪ and a donkey of course, is just a boring horse ♪

[Crying]

No one should cry at a grocery store.

It's a place of nourishment and fun!

I have to stop her!

Scaredy, you swore you wouldn't!

Momma: what's with all the crying?

You're right, dave.

I swore I wouldn't.

Knock it off, you're making a puddle in front of the doors!

Mrs. Nestor's mother,

Sally is refusing to play songs

About the specials of the day.

What? She says that no one can tell her what to do.

No one?! We'll see about that!

[Growing growl]

Sally: how do you like me now?! Huh?! Huh?!

Customers: harsh angel! Harsh angel! Harsh angel!

I. Am. Famous!

Momma: fish! My office! Now!

No! Your office when I feel like it!

Customer: [gasps]

What did you just say...?!

[Rapping] ♪ momma's mean to everybody cause she owns the place, ♪

♪ Terrorizing her employees with her crazy bird face ♪

Grrraaaaahhh!

Aghhh!

Momma: I'll show who the real harsh angel is!

[Screaming]

Sally: I'm sorry! It's art! Please! No! Ow! Ow!

True artists are often misunderstood.

I'm wearing gloves on my feet.

I guess a lot of people are misunderstood.

[Sally screams]

Scaredy: mmmmm... Acorns.

Safe, safe acorns.

[Trumpet sounds]

[Screaming]

[Trumpet sounds]

It's my birthday! It's my birthday!

It's my biiiiiiiiiiiiiirrr [breath]

[Trumpet sounds]

Uh, dave. You were reading the calendar upside down again.

Today's not your birthday,

It's groundhog day -

The magical day when balsa city brian

Searches for his shadow.

That's disappointing!

Sorry, did you want a piece of hat?

[Buzzing]

Bllahhh.

Mayor runswell: welcome citizens to another ridiculous holiday

That I'm not sure I understand.

[Cheering]

And depending on whether brian sees his shadow or not,

We'll either have more winter or an early spring.

I'm prepared either way.

Spf 5000 for an early spring.

And my acme igloo building kit for more winter.

Yeah, well I'm ready too.

[Murmuring]

Dave: I wonder why we never see brian around

Oooo! Groundhog day ground beef tacos.

With or without shadow.

He sure looked sad this year.

And more terrified than usual.

Mrumphalump!

You're right. We should go find out what's wrong.

Thatsh naw wha I shaid!

[Doorbell rings]

Brian: who-who-who-who is it?

Hi, I'm scaredy squirrel.

And I'm his lovable sidekick, dave,

Often referred to as the "audience favourite".

Why do you have to-

Brian: please go away.

Hey, there's nothing to be afraid of!

Brian: [shrieks]

Wow. Well, I guess he just wants to be left alone.

C'mon dave, let's-

Dave: banzai!

What? He'll love us.

Also, that wasn't me.

Dave: [loud thud] pain.

Brian?

Brian: [whimpers]

We're not going to hurt you. We're here to help you.

Why don't we ever see you around 'cept for groundhog day?

Huh? Huh?

Everything out there scares me.

Sidewalk cracks. Minor injuries. Germs.

You wouldn't understand.

Scaredy: my friend, you remind me of a certain squirrel

Who was once too afraid to leave his nut tree.

It was a simpler time, but for our hero...

It was a scarier time.

Dave: beep--boop--bop--bop--bop.

Dave! That never happened!

But your flashback was boring and had zero robots.

The point is, I learned how to handle my fears

And now I can teach you to do the same thing!

[Extended screaming] ow!

Scaredy: I've taught brian to face his fears-

Don't you know brian is a rare athabascan

Shadow loving groundhog?

If he's exposed to moonlight,

He'll transform into the most hideous beast

The world has ever known!

That's why I'm afraid to leave my house.

[Distant howl]

The geo-weather-er-ator 5000

Says the moon rises at 6:39 tonight!

[Howl hoots]

Yeah, funny story.

I don't really have a watch.

[Snarling]

[Horrified screaming]

[Roars]

Mayor runswell: [whistling]

Say, did I mention that athabascan shadow

Loving groundhogs have an insatiable hunger for wood?

Did I mention that?

Scaredy: what?!

Balsa city is made entirely out of wood!

What do we do, mayor runswell?

I dunno. I'm off to get my beauty sleep.

Lots of mayoring to do in the morning.

Dave: ooooo. Tough luck.

And the monster groundhog attack

Is yet another example

Of why building an entire city out of wood

Was a really, really bad idea.

Without my safety kit,

I'll never be able to stop him.

I used to know a certain squirrel

Who would never give up.

You're right, dave. I can't give up.

I was actually thinking of this guy doug.

You told brian to face his fear of fears,

Now it's your turn to turn your face and face your fear

We explored a lot of fears today.

Some were real, most weren't.

Some real fears included-

There's no real danger in reading!
