Then heads up, Buddy, as I use

my hoof fu skills to make it rain!

We'll help you round up

those coconuts, Buddy.

[Hamylton] Before you do

[grunts]

Whoa! Where'd you learn

all those sweet moves, Hamylton?

From watching every

hoof fu action film ever made.

[relieved sigh] Movies and TV

really are great educational tools.

[chuckles]

Here, little co-kee-coconut.

Come to Rosie

- [mystical music playing]

- [Rosie exclaims] An egg!

Friends, over here! Look at what I found!

This egg is out here all alone? Aww

It couldn't have fallen out of a tree or

or it would've broken open, right?

We better take it back

to our shelter to keep safe

until someone comes looking for it.

Egg-cellent idea.

[yelping]

Totally fine. Meant to do that.

The ol' "coconut flip" move.

[mysterious music playing]

[Mia] Maybe the egg is the offspring

of the island's king,

and we'll be given treasure

for keeping it safe.

[Buddy gasps]

Or maybe, it came from outer space!

Dun-dun-dun-dun!

Maybe it's filled

with delicious vanilla and caramel!

[gasps] Only one way to find out

- [grunting]

- Hamylton, no! We can't crack Egg open!

But the vanilla and caramel

We don't eat Egg. That's just

[shudders]

- Hey, you called it "Egg".

- I guess I did. [chuckles]

I mean, we can't just keep

calling it "it", right?

Egg works in case

they are a boy or a girl.

Egg it is! So, what do we do with Egg now?

Well, since no one

has come looking for Egg yet,

maybe we should go looking for its home.

Rosie, shouldn't we be focused on getting

back to our own home on Bird Island?

Egg's parents are probably worried sick

about where Egg is.

Just like our parents are.

We should at least try to find

where Egg came from, right?

- Okay. Let's do it!

- [Buddy] Sweet!

[nervous chuckle] So, uh, any ideas

on which way we go?

[light buzzing]

[all gasping]

I'm gonna go with that way.

[sputtering] But that way

leads to the jungle,

and we don't know what's in there.

We've barely even left the cove!

Then there's no time like the present

to check out some more of the island,

and get Egg home.

And as long as we're back

before it gets dark, we'll be fine.

I'll bring snacks!

And my hoof fu will protect us!

[chuckling] And since I was

an Eagle Scout back home,

that makes me practically

an outdoor expert.

[chuckles] So, I'll be our guide

through the wild!

Then that settles it.

- It's time to egg-splore.

- [adventurous music playing]

[grunting]

[exclaims]

[smooching]

[mysterious music playing]

It's starting to get dark in here

Which is totally fine.

It's not like I'm afraid of the dark

or anything. [nervous chuckle]

Darkness shmarkness, that's what I say!

[Buddy] Don't stress, Mia.

Even if we do lose some daylight,

I'm leaving a trail of leaves

to mark our path!

[menacing music playing]

[wind rushing]

- Whoa.

- [mysterious monster sounds, rattling]

That looks not fun.

Ah, yes. See, what we have here is

your garden-variety Hippneoa Muscipula.

The Hippie Fly Trap plant.

How do we get past it?

[scoffs] Usually by playing a song

for 15 minutes straight to make it dance.

But since we don't have

any instruments or music,

a firm tap with a stick should work.

[clears throat] Kindly sway

out of the way please.

[growling]

[Buddy screaming]

- Hold on, Buddy!

- [muffled yelling]

I'll chop you out of there! Hi-ya!

[groans]

You swept the leg? No fair!

[grunts]

- [Buddy screaming]

- [Mia gasping]

- [wind rushing]

- [suspenseful music playing]

Let's tickle him free!

[grunting, groaning]

- [Buddy grunting]

- Buddy! Are you okay?

Uh, yeah, no, yeah, totally. Yeah.

I forgot to mention that Hippie Fly Traps

are vegans, so it probably wouldn't

have eaten me.

Oh, cool, a hacky sack! We can play

with this back on the beach!

[wind rushing]

Hey, where have all

of Buddy's pink leaves gone?

How are we supposed to find our way back

after we find Egg's home?

The leaves aren't

the only thing missing. Look!

No snacks?! [gasps] That's hiking 101!

Oh, don't worry, Mia, I didn't get

my badge in "Nutritional Nature"

[giggling] to just let us starve out here.

Look! I already found us something to eat.

[chomping]

Bleh! Just, uh, nope.

That's a piece of bark.

Okay, Buddy the Eagle Scout,

lead the way. We believe in you.

[deep exhale]

[mysterious music playing]

- [spits]

[gags]

[all shrieking]

[lisping] Hey, guys What?

Why do I sound so weird?

Your tongue is swollen.

[lisping] Oh, quit messing around,

Hamylton. This is the way I always look.

Guys, we have bigger problems

than Buddy's chunky tongue.

This is that hunk of bark

Buddy tried to eat earlier.

And there's that dirty hippie plant!

[gasps] Have we been walking in circles?

But how? Buddy was leading us

in a straight line!

And doing a great job of it, pal.

Because we haven't made any progress

and we're running out of daylight!

if we have no light, no food,

and no direction home?

[Rosie] Egg!

[gasps]

[grunting]

[grunts]

[all screaming]

- [all gasping for air]

- Everyone okay?

- Yes.

All of my limbs seem to be accounted for.

- Buddy, your tongue is okay again!

- Oh, hey! It is!

- [wind rushing]

- [all screaming]

[suspenseful music playing]

[water rushing]

Waterfall! What do we do?

Hang on to each other! I've got this!

[heroic music playing]

[grunts] Hold tight,

I'll sling us to shore!

[all screaming]

- [all panting]

- Thanks, Buddy.

[scoffs] No, don't thank me.

I'm the one that got us into this mess

by leading us in circles.

[sighs] This might come as

a shock to all of you, but

I wasn't a very good Eagle Scout.

No, Buddy. If anyone's to blame,

I'm the one that started freaking out

about the dark

and knocked Egg down that hill.

Nope, I said we should keep going

after we lost the path of leaves

to get us back home.

No, no, let me fall on the sword here.

I was way too supportive of Buddy

knowing his way through the jungle.

But that's what family does, right?

Support each other no matter what.

We are a family now,

and we all went on this egg-venture.

So whatever happens to us,

it happens together.

[wind whooshing]

[sighs] No more daylight.

So, I guess we live here now.

Sorry, Egg.

I really did think we egg-splorers

would find your family and get you home.

- [all gasping]

- Egg? You can hear us?

We can keep workshopping it.

[gasping] What's happening?

trying to lead us somewhere!

- We need to follow Egg!

- But how are we going to see in the dark?

I remembered that the fireflies

are attracted to flower nectar.

So, I was hoping for the same

with the Emoji-flies!

an amazing Eagle Scout!

[triumphant music playing]

Follow that egg!

Egg's doing it!

Egg is leading us to its home!

Come on, egg-splorers!

[all gasp]

You got us home, Egg!

I don't understand, little one.

I thought you were leading us

to your family.

Is that it, Egg? Are we your family now?

Aww. Egg's an egg-splorer, too.

[smooches] We'll take good care of you

until we find your real family.

who hatches while we sleep and eats us.

and then we can all get some sleep.
