with a million dollars

on their backs.

Now only eight remain,

and the mountain's keeper has

been watching their every move.

They're closing in

on the summit

JEANNIE:

Summit, here we come!

MANU:

but the mountain

continues to test them

as obstacles and terrain

become more difficult

and dangerous.

I don't want to do it.

-I want to quit.

-MANU: Bodies and minds

-have been tested

-[screams]

I'm mad, I'm angry.

MANU:

and the mountain's keeper

hasn't run out of surprises.

DUSTY:

"There aren't any tents

"or supplies

at the next checkpoint.

"Will three of you decide

to carry these bags

up a steep hill in order

to feed the group?"

-Let's take it.

-I can carry it.

JENNYE: I don't volunteer

to step forward

because of my injury.

I'm hoping that I didn't

put my name

out there on the chopping block.

-I'll carry an extra backpack.

-I could do it, too.

This is a great opportunity

to show that I am a team player.

MANU:

With limited days left

to reach the summit,

trust is wearing thin.

NICK:

Becky and Punkin

would kick me out of this game,

and that worries me.

DUSTY:

I'm just gonna be ruthless

and piss everyone off.

PUNKIN:

I do not trust Dennis at all.

MANU:

Nobody is safe

[shouts]

JENNYE:

People know about my injury,

and any little thing

can make people vote you off.

MANU:

and another member

of the group

has left the mountain.

Well, I guess tonight's vote

is about getting rid

of the weak.

Tonight, they'll need to reach

the next level of the mountain.

Your challenge today

is to reach the snow line.

are starting to crumble.

and we don't know

how the game's gonna end,

who's gonna get to the summit,

but we're realizing

that the numbers are dwindling.

DENNIS: It's, like, day ten,

and I wake up

to the best alarm clock,

which is Amy

talking smack about me,

telling Jeannie to turn on me.

But I'm the Korean c*ck,

and I'm gonna somehow

slide out of this.

We're at the end, it's

-it's been hitting everyone

pretty hard.

DUSTY:

Got to be kidding.

So, how was your night?

-BECKYLEE: Freezing.

-ALL: Cold.

Temperature's dropped

below freezing.

How are you feeling?

Still tired, yeah.

MANU:

Well, today,

the push toward

the summit really begins.

[Punkin laughs]

-MANU: No, really.

-Oh, forget it.

MANU:

Your challenge today

is to reach the snow line

and once you enter

this part of the mountain,

you'll be in the snow

for the remainder of your climb.

It's gonna sort out

the strong from the weak.

You're really gonna have

to start making decisions now

about who it is that's gonna

help you get to the summit.

This lake here,

it has sheer cliffs on each side

too dangerous to climb,

so your only way

to get to the summit

is from the other side

of the lake.

Who here knows how to swim?

How far can you swim?

-JEANNIE: Not that far.

-PUNKIN: Not that far.

[chuckles]

I'm not gonna ask you

to swim that far.

-THERRON: Thank you.

But you do need to get

to the other side.

Well, those rafts aren't gonna

Every decision,

I'm trying to think

two days, three days in advance

how I can look back

and just find a way

to get myself ahead in the game,

and obviously,

last night at camp,

there was a little bit of

a blowup between me and Amy.

Just felt like the right time

to maybe try to,

you know,

bring everybody back in.

[inhales sharply]

Words can barely describe

how cold that was.

that I've ever had to do.

some strategy involved

and we can only get

to our next checkpoint

by crossing this lake.

And I'm actually really excited

to do something

that does not involve heights.

BECKYLEE:

Everybody ready?

MANU: Today, the group must

cross a frigid alpine lake,

and then navigate across

a massive chasm.

As they make their way

to the seventh

of nine checkpoint camps,

they'll continue to ascend

higher altitudes

en route to the summit.

Thinner air and

more strenuous treks abound.

The group only have

four days left of this journey.

-THERRON: Left.

-BOTH: Left.

-THERRON: Ooh. Right

-We going, we going

a little too hard on the right.

-JEANNIE: What the

We are doing it dumbly!

We're not that great with this,

but we're doing it.

I've never seen anything

as beautiful as this.

The lake,

the mountain behind it.

I'm thinking, "The summit

is definitely within reach,"

but we don't know

what's coming up,

what the mountain's keeper

has in store.

There's only four days left.

I can smell the money

that I'm carrying in my bag,

and I can't wait.

[Nick whoops]

I'll tell you what,

you look badass.

[both laugh]

DENNIS:

A-Amy this morning,

I woke up to her

trying to get Jeannie

to turn on me.

-BECKYLEE: Uh-huh.

-And obviously, I heard that,

and obviously,

I'm the easy target,

-as always.

-Yep.

DENNIS:

So I think she's just trying

to rally up the troops.

So what are your thoughts

on who needs to go next?

You think it's Amy?

DENNIS:

Yeah. Uh, it's gonna be

Amy and me.

-Yeah, we're down

to, what, eight?

-Yeah.

All I need is five.

I get paired up with Beckylee,

and I'm gonna

take advantage of that.

I just want to see

where her head's at

because it's really hard

to have my back in this game

'cause, obviously,

I've done a lot of things

that are kind of shady,

and I'm deceiving.

And manipulative.

BECKYLEE:

I feel really bad for Dennis.

People have been gunning for him

for the past,

I don't know, four nights,

but with Amy,

her and I have been close,

but the more

this game progresses,

the more nervous she makes me

because she is good

with everyone,

and she's also somebody

morally vote for you."

Um, I don't like that.

And I trust Dennis. Like,

I think he's a messy player,

but I think I can try

to mold him.

DENNIS:

This might be my new

happiest moment out here.

I am a perfectionist,

and I constantly am trying to be

as good of a man as my dad is.

I was always lucky enough

for my dad to coach me,

and he held me

to a very high standard

in multiple areas of life,

but especially in sports.

One occurrence happened

where I struck out

in Little League

and I started crying.

He kind of grabbed me

by the chest, a little bit,

on my jersey, and he said,

"Don't ever do that again.

"Grow up, don't cry,

make sure that you're being

a good teammate."

And still, to this day,

a big part of my personality is,

sometimes to a fault,

holding a really

high standard for myself.

Now, on the other side

of the lake,

the group can begin

their upward trek,

but there may be

more than cold temperatures

and a vertical climb

that bring them

to the edge.

[Jeannie shivers]

THERRON:

Ooh, it's so cold.

JEANNIE:

We are high up.

[pants]

There's a note.

"The path

to the summit continues

on the other side

of the steep chasm."

-AMY: We have to go

over there.

-JEANNIE: Oh, my God.

THERRON:

They want me to die.

BECKYLEE:

"Step off the mountain's edge

"and use the gravity line

to cross,

"but be warned, each fall

will cost precious time

and have consequences

at the next vote."

-What does that mean?

This journey has truly made me

develop a new fear of heights.

When you look down

and you see that decline,

it's just a drop.

NICK:

the highest one yet.

JEANNIE:

PUNKIN:

That wind is no joke.

DUSTY:

It's gonna be windy, for sure.

THERRON:

I'm so mentally drained

with the heights.

It is just taxing on my brain.

This is definitely

where the bottom is.

-[bird screeches]

Actually, a bird flew

right over our heads,

that's how high we are.

Like, we're just, like,

we're with the birds,

way up in the mountains.

[chuckles]

[wind whistling]

DUSTY:

We basically have a note

at the very beginning

of this obstacle saying,

"Pick your order. Choose wisely.

"Do not let go,

because if anyone drops,

there is gonna be some

sort of downside to that."

So we don't know what it is,

but the mountain's keeper

effectively warned us,

"If anyone falls, that is

gonna be to your detriment."

We don't know if that means,

if three people fall,

we have to vote

three people off?

We have no clue.

NICK:

I see this rope,

not very long,

and there's a little knot

at the bottom of it.

This is all upper body strength,

and we're gonna have to hold on

all the way across

these two mountains,

and the mountain keeper told us,

"You have one shot at this."

This is definitely

gonna probably be

one of the hardest ones

we've had so far.

[whirring]

MANU:

Given that the group is

inching their way

closer to the summit

DUSTY:

Yeah, Nick.

MANU:

the mountain's keeper isn't

going to be leaving them

alone anytime soon.

She wants to make sure

they're not forgetting

that she's got

consequences waiting

should any of them fall.

Is that the keeper?

What does she want?

DENNIS:

I think the mountain's keeper

wants us to be afraid.

If we fall off this obstacle,

we will face the consequences.

JEANNIE:

You got this, Nick!

DENNNIS:

I am worried

about the consequences

because I'm worried for myself

and my alliance members

with Therron, Nick,

Beckylee and Jeannie,

and I need all the people

that I work closely with

to make it across.

It's all grip.

-[women whooping]

-[groans]

PUNKIN:

NICK:

It's a lot

of upper body strength.

That adrenaline
