So, this summer season,
I've added a little incentive.

my restaurant business is expanding

and I will offer a job opportunity

And that's what he chose.
He was okay with it.

So, when I hear that he's
kind of changing his mind,

I'm trying really hard
to be understanding.

I love him and I wanna be supportive,

but, like, it doesn't make it any easier.

I have some issue
in the kitchen with Bridget.

Bridget?

My problem is
when I tell her to do something,

I need to teach her everything,
even the basic.

[Lisa] If anybody else came
to me with a complaint,

I would take it with a pinch of salt,

but Chef is actually
the master of understatement.

So, if Chef's complaining,
I know it's too hot in the kitchen.

Oh, hold on a second. She came from
a Michelin star restaurant she said.

Maybe, but, for me,
she does not have like the quality

and skill to be a sous chef yet.

But it's not only about the skill,
it's about the attitude.

This morning, like, at five o'clock,

I was in the kitchen
reorganizing everything.

She didn't come in the kitchen

because her schedule was two o'clock.

When you a sous chef,
you don't have schedule, you know?

-Well, especially when we're setting up.
-We are getting ready-- Exactly.

Like, this afternoon,
I come back from my break,

they didn't know how
to turn on the oven, you know?

Of course.

There are complications
with Bridget in the kitchen.

But it's not only that,
I'm seeing somebody that

almost seems a little overwhelmed
with the situation.

This is not an easy equation here.

Come in, sit down.

There's contention in the kitchen.

-Yes.
-I have worked with Chef Anthony.

Never had a problem.

So, if you're standing up to Chef,

you're actually standing up to me as well.

I get that, and I was taking
the role for granted.

I was so excited to see
that gold emblem that said "sous chef."

I have to say, talking back to Chef,

being argumentative with Chef
doesn't work with me.

I can't babysit anybody.

The pace is gonna get faster
and faster, exponentially.

Now, that takes a special type of person.

I don't think this
environment is good for you.

There's a lot of challenges
in this process

and it's not for everyone.

Bridget, she's just a bundle of anxiety.
