working on a show.

As performers,
collaborations are essential.

split into groups.

You are going to be performing
one of my tracks in London tomorrow.

in this difficult music industry.

how well you collaborate,

Our judges have collaborated with
some of the biggest names in music.

Collabing with major artists like
David Guetta

and Little Mix has allowed them
to combine their fan base

and reach audiences
across the world.

Mastering the art of collaboration
is essential if our artists

want to sustain a successful career
in the music industry.

There's so many occasions
where you're going to be

collaborating on the stage with
another artist,

so I have to see whether they can
collaborate or not.

We're not going to be picking

at you, and I think it helped me

build up this thick skin
and make me a bit stronger.

I'm not an aggressive
person in the slightest,

but when I feel something,
I really feel it.

about my group.

fade into the background

We work on splitting it up and
giving everyone an equal chance to,

I want to try and push more vocally.

I know that's something they were

more sustained notes at the end.

Charlie is going to really
have to step up, singing and

performance-wise, because it would
seem that he is the weakest link.

Especially around those singers,
I mean, he can easily get lost.

There's a lot of stronger,
vocally, people in the group.

I'm trying to stand out and I'm
trying to improve,

and that's all you can do, man.

I love the attention,
especially the female attention.

Oh, man, when I'm performing,
like, the energy you feel,

the rush, the buzz.
Seeing the crowd's faces, you know?

Like, giving everyone kind
of a little flirt, a little smile,

I started writing music about five
years ago, and in the summer,

one of my songs actually
got on Love Island, which was sick.

So I want more moments like that.

This is the one opportunity I've
got, big break, I'm going

God-given talent.

I'm originally from the Philippines,

I lived in and around the slums,

but we always made the best out of
it,

and now I'm here and I'm ready to go
for what I want

because I'm a control freak.

I was in a group once,

but let's just say it didn't end

that is gonna help them as artists.

figure out collectively

how do you shine individually,

but still shine as a whole?

cos everyone else had big parts,

He can't fade into the background.

How are we going to judge you if you
don't have enough singing lines?

I mean, come on.

Utilise one of your
"crazy what love can do"s

to, like, go off into, like,
some ad lib or something.

Um, me, it's learning the verses.

So maybe you should give
a couple of lines to Okeam,

When working in a group, it can
really show up somebody's ego.

You have to learn not
to overstep your mark,

because if you did, you end up

I think all that adrenaline

I'm just holding back a bit

with the vocals, just cos, like,
it's a bit out of my comfort zone.

improving as much as I can,

give a decent performance, like.
