Once on a far-off island
dubbed the Finger of God,
lived an old man and his beloved grandson,
Percival.
But one day that boy's father,
Ironside, suddenly appeared,
and their days of happiness were
swiftly brought to an end.
With his grandfather's memory in his
heart, Percival's journey began.
During his travels,
he heard about the prophecy of the
Four Knights of the Apocalypse,
and learned that he was one of
those four knights himself.
Also,
he was told that following his destiny
would help him discover the whereabouts
of this Knight of Chaos, Ironside,
the man who m*rder*d his grandfather.
While meeting new friends,
and fighting those who pursued him,
Percival grew as a person,
and eventually arrived in
the Kingdom of Liones.
There,
he finally came face-to-face with King
Meliodas and the other Knights of
the Apocalypse.
However, the enemy reached Liones as well.
At last,
Ironside's master and the one who had
been sending numerous pursuers after
the Knights of Prophecy, Arthur Pendragon,
appeared in front of them.
Who are the "Four Knights
of the Apocalypse"?
And how will they "destroy the world"?
One thing was clear,
there would soon be a significant
shift in Percival's destiny.
People of Liones…
I ask that you all take a moment
and lend an ear to my words.
My name's King Arthur Pendragon.
I reign over the kingdom of Camelot,
a southern land once destroyed
in the so-called "Holy w*r",
by the Seven Deadly Sins,
and their Demon King.
He's so loud- like his
voice is echoing in my head…!
And now, you, the people of Liones,
stand at the same crossroads Camelot once
faced.
One of destruction or survival.
The peace you all have enjoyed up until
now has merely been temporary.
That has been made perfectly clear
by the cruel history of Britannia.
The Holy Wars 3,000 years ago…
and the one sixteen years ago…
The endless,
bloody struggle between so many races…
And no one can deny,
we of the human race paid the
price for the sake of others.
I know there are those among you who lost
precious family members or friends in
the Holy w*r…
who still harbor the pain of loss
in their hearts. -People who,
even sixteen years later,
still carry wounds that can't be easily
healed… -Yeah, like Dad… and Mom, too…
And back during the w*r…
my little sister died protecting
me from a demon's attack.
Once a life is taken away, they are gone
forever. Just as those who survive, shall
be haunted by their
wounds until they die.
So, what the hell are you getting at?!
We gotta keep their memories
close and live on for those we lost!
But what if you could see
your beloved family once again?
If you had a chance to confess
your feelings… 'your love,
to precious ones before they died?
What if you could turn your
impossible wishes into reality?
There's no way that could ever happen!
-Do you think we're stupid or something?!
-You're just a damn swindler!
No. Such things do very much exist here.
A land where its denizens feel
no suffering or sadness.
A safe haven where everyone is free to
live without fear of horrific threats
or disasters.
That land is my eternal kingdom, Camelot.
-Is this some sort of dream…?
-Wait… there's my wife!
-If we go to Camelot, can we truly…
-I'll see my child again?!
Grandpa…?
My life's mission is the
salvation of humanity.
I won't force it on anyone, of course.
But please, give it some deep thought.
Your heroes, the Seven Deadly Sins,
saved your kingdom. Yet in the end,
they're all of different races.
It's plain as day,
that they will betray you
and all of humanity.
As expected from a Knight of Prophecy!
Resisting my King's Authority to
launch an attack of your own…
That pathetic speech was nothing but lies…
It makes me sick!
So young and foolish.
Full Counter!
Well, well, well… Who woulda thought you
and I'd be crossing swords like this after
-all these years?
-Your majesty!
"Majesty"?
Wait--that little dude?!
My apologies, but this is the conclusion
that I've come to.
If mankind has any hope of
ever obtaining true peace,
all other races of this
world must be wiped
out of existence for good. Meliodas…
Do you remember what you told
me back then? You said that
once a man makes an oath,
he should never break it.
Yeah, true… but I also said…
…that if you were ever tempted
or lost your way,
the Seven Deadly Sins would
be there for you. Arthur!
It's about time someone
makes you open your eyes!
I need to "open my eyes", you say?
My eyes are already wide open,
and that's why I'm standing
against you now. After all,
the thought of humans coexisting with
other races is nothing but a fantasy.
And believe me when I say,
I'll put this world back into
the hands of the human race!
Why did you butt in?! I
can handle him myself-!
Tristan stand back.
No way! It totally
blew the mountain away!
This ain't good!
We must not get in the
way of His Majesty's fight!
We should get away from here, as well.
Hold on,
Dr. Hendy! What about Prince Tristan?
Prince Tristan!!!
-Watch out!
-Shut up!
What a bad boy.
A son should never speak to his caring
father with such disrespect.
Trillion Dark!
That power! A darkness strong enough
to have physical mass?
-King Arthur!
-No, stop! You don't stand
a chance against this guy.
-Are you hurt?
-Who th' hell asked you to help me?!
Would you stop treating me like a child?!
You're not able to turn back, are you?
Shut up! Shut up!
Shut up! I don't need you backing me up!
I can fight perfectly fine without you!
You truly are just a child. You
still don't understand a thing.
What… did you--?
Even now, you fail to realize,
that all you're doing is dragging
down your father in this fight.
I'll be fine.
Still though,
Meliodas, you aren't much better.
Worrying about your precious son when the
fate of your entire kingdom is at stake.
How could I serve as a proper king
if I didn't worry about my own son?!
Then you're a failure as a king.
What do you think is required
of the king of a country?
He must execute his decisions.
To protect his nation and people,
he must abandon his own
feelings or concerns.
-Tristan!
-Even if that means he must throw away his
darling wife or son… Would you not agree?
I'd never do that!
Is that so…?
I know it hurts, just hold on!
Very well… Then you shall die protecting
your beloved boy.
No way! Meliodas!
Meliodas!
Well, you're wrong.
What?
Tristan!
Jeez, you're a real handful, y'know that?
Shining Road.
I gotcha, Tristan, hang in there!
I can still…
You fought well son. Now, rest.
Just one hit tamed
that prince's wild side?!
He did it!
You guys went to get
him all by yourselves?
Well, duh! It was the fastest
way to solve this big ole mess!
I take it you're the
one who just did this?
I believe you're another one of the
Four Knights of the Apocalypse, am I
-right?
-So, you're King Arthur, huh?
And what if I am?
Sure, Lancelot's strong,
but this opponent's on a different level.
He shouldn't fight him alone.
Well, he's dead. That idiot can't
even tell when he's totally out-classed.
Watch it! Don't go and jinx the guy!
Uncle. You can leave the rest to me.
Sure thing, Lancelot! He's all yours!
Lancelot, huh…?
There's no need for you to remember my
name, so don't bother. Just knowing you're
King Arthur is more than enough for me.
I'm rather certain this is our first
meeting, but have I done something to earn
your wrath?
Hey, that sword.
Neat magic tool you got there.
No matter how many times the blade breaks,
a new one grows in its place.
It's my chaotic weapon of choice,
Carnwennan.
Convenient, but what about these?
Finally,
something to actually entertain me…
So, now you're using the power of Chaos
to regenerate, huh? In that case,
why'd you even bother keeping
that prosthetic arm?
A monstrous cat ate it during the
previous Holy w*r, didn't it?
You stay well-informed, I see.
Yes. I was still quite young
and foolish in those days.
I decided to keep this
as a warning to myself.
To never forget my naïveté and weakness.
Yeah, I don't care.
Just don't try to use it as
an excuse for losing, okay?
Youth is so ignorant and cruel,
lovable even.
So you were saying?
There's no way!
-Wow!!!
-He's even outmatching
-King Arthur hand-to-hand.
-He's strong, isn't he?!
Well, yeah, Percival.
When it comes to skill,
he far surpasses me.
A little over six years ago,
Lancelot was just spirited
away from Benwick. But three years later,
he returned safe and sound…
with shockingly high levels
of skills and magical energy.
He's never even attempted to explain what
happened then, but his skills are on the
same level as the legendary
Seven Deadly Sins, if not higher.
So? Ya gonna use that right hand, now?
Yo, Tristan, I'mma borrow this.
Shining Road.
Aw man, not another one!
You have quite a bit of talent.
But I guess you still lack
what it takes to defeat me.
That's enough!!!
Arthur! Wasn't that right arm
supposed to remind you about your naïveté
-and weakness?
-Oh you'll just have to forgive me.
You see, Chaos was merely acting on
instinct to protect me,
its most gracious vessel. In other words,
it's independent from my will.
That would explain why not even Lancelot
could read its movements.
Damn it… I can't believe it… I knew I
should have separated Chaos from you
-sixteen years ago!
-Is this really happening?!
-This is a nightmare, am I right?!
-Of course not, you dummy.
Finally taking this seriously, huh?
Oh? You're still alive?
I hope it helped you understand there's
a stark difference between our abilities.
Hey, just so we're clear.
You don't understand anything
about me either.
What the-- huh?!
-Such intense magical pressure!
-Hold on, didn't Lancelot
used to be left-handed?
If anyone can beat him, it's you!
Th-The sky… Look at the sky!
Is that a monster?!
No! It's a massive flying ship!!
You think there's a
chance they could be…?
Uh-huh, there's no doubt about it.
-They're Camelot's Knights of Chaos.
-Isn't that Ironside?!
Your Majesty, haven't you played enough?
Please return immediately.
Did you come all the way
from Camelot to reproach me?
An immediate full-scale
confrontation is not advisable, sir.
I'm sure Your Majesty
understands this better than anyone.
Indeed.
From the directions of Dalflare,
Benwick, and the Fairy King's Forest.
I can sense extremely powerful and
hostile intent toward us from those three
directions.
If something were to happen to you, my
Lord, how could our people survive without
Camelot, their only home?
That's a cunning way to put it. The
same is true for all of you, isn't it?
Does it truly exist?
-Please take me to Camelot with you!
-Me too!
Don't leave me here!
Are you crazy?! He's behind those
freaks who've been attacking your
homeland!
Oh- that's true… Who's protecting
you?! It's always been the Holy Knights of
Liones!
Ironside, do you not have a special
mission you're supposed to be taking care
-of for me?
-Rest assured, sir. That matter is
already on its way to being settled.
You should have said that sooner.
Very well, let us retre--
-My Liege!!
-Nothing to fret over. Prepare to depart!
Sir Meliodas, let's meet again sometime.
This has proven to be quite
the productive day.
It's altered my view on
things significantly.
Up until now,
I regarded you Four Knights
of the Apocalypse
as a mere diversion to help
spice up my tiresome days
when I was feeling bored and needed fun.
However,
this day marks a change in that course.
I hereby declare,
that I will hunt down every last one of
the Four Knights of the Apocalypse and
their allies… and exterminate them!
-It's so fluffy!
-I didn't think they'd let us
use the castle's guest room.
I can't remember the last
time we slept in an actual bed.
-Bouncy! Bouncy! Wooo! Wahaw!
-Keep it down!
And stop bouncing on the bed.
Oh, right! I heard this place has an
awesome bath in the basement. We should
-all go together!
-Like I'd take a bath with you!
Now, get off the bed already!
Anne, what're you
gettin' all riled up for?
Is there something bothering you?
It's just, the Holy Knights put their
lives on the line to protect the city, but
-did you hear the people?
-Wow! Boing! Wahoo!
Take me to Camelot with you!
-Yeah, me too!
-Don't leave me here!
I don't know, it's just frustrating.
Yeah, that's totally valid…
but I kinda get how they feel.
Huh?! What do you mean?
I've got no idea if the Camelot that King
Arthur showed all of us was real or
an illusion,
but there is no doubt I definitely
saw my Grandpa there.
Just what is Camelot anyway?
Who knows?
King Arthur was quite an
enigmatic person too.
But I was absolutely useless…
the only one who couldn't
do anything against him.
-Was he really that formidable a foe?
-Formidable doesn't even
begin to describe him.
Regardless,
you were very brave out there, Percival.
But everyone else was super strong,
weren't they?
! Like Gawain and Prince Tristan!
But Meliodas and Lancelot were
even way stronger than those two!
Huh?
M-M-M-Meliodas?
! Like "the" Lord Meliodas?!
Yeah.
As in the ruler of Liones, and the
captain of the Seven Deadly Sins himself?!
-You MET him?!!
-I did.
Whoa, slow down.
All we saw was a little boy- smaller
than Prince Tristan, even.
Yeah, but people called
him "Your Majesty," right?
There's no way Lord Meliodas
is some pint-sized toddler!
Well, we'll probably find out
tomorrow! Anyway, let's all hit the baths!
-Yeah. You're right! Let's go!
-You go on without me!
C'mon, c'mon!
-Nasiens, let's take a bath together!
-Hurry up, come on!
All right!
Percy. How about the five of
us get a bite to eat?
You there…?
Maybe tomorrow, then.
