02x40 - Daffy in the Bayou/Bugs the Sherpa

Post by bunniefuu »

[THEME MUSIC PLAYING]

Little black pepper,
a little green pepper,

- a little red hot
chili peppers...
-[SIPS]

Ooh-wee, Mama Fudd's
family gumbo.

This is gonna be delicious.

I just need to add a protein.

-[EXCLAIMING]
- My catfish!

My shrimp... My crawfish!

All my protein ran away.

- DAFFY: A hush falls
over the crowd.
- Who there?

As Olympic high diver,
Daffy Duck,

attempts the most
dangerous dive of all time.

First, a quadruple
bottom butt bump,
into the tummy tuck.

A duck! That's just
the protein I need. [LAUGHS]

Followed by
a half twist on the...
[GROANS] Rocks!

Some wise guy
interrupted my swan dive.

ELMER: Here, ducky, ducky.

That's no wise guy.

That's okay. I'm no swan.

Hey! What's the big idea
hitting me with a rock, bub?

Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Duck.

I just need you to be
the final ingredient
in my gumbo.

[LAUGHS]

Why didn't you say so, chum?

I would love to be
the final ingredient in...
[STAMMERS] What now?

I want you to be in my gumbo,
Mr. Duck.

And now, championship golfer,
Daffy Duck,

must hit a hole in one
to win the Bellview Open.

He addresses the ball.

Apartment Number 1

[EXCLAIMS]

[DINGING, SPLASHING]

He's done the impossible.
A hole in one!

[WHOOPING] More like
a creole in one. [WHOOPS]

[SPITS] Come back here,
you crazy duck.

Oh, I can't have
my gumbo without a duck.

Now, where did he go?
He couldn't have gone far.

-[DINGS]
-[BRAKES SCREECH]

Listen, pal, I'm on vacation
and you're not helping.

Well, I'm trying to get
a duck for my gumbo
and you're not helping.

-[GRUNTS]
- Hate to break
it to you, Jack.

But, I don't wanna
be in your gumbo. [GRUNTS]

Oh, please, Mr. Duck,
go into my gumbo.

-[GRUNTS]
- Nope. I can't.

Pretty please?

Listen, you're just gonna
have to deal with a flat,
flavorless gumbo.

I'll make you flat
and flavorless. [GRUNTS]

[GROWLING]

Ah! [CHUCKLES NERVOUSLY]
Sorry, Mr. Alligator.

I didn't mean to hit you.
I was aiming for the...
[YELLS]

Duck.

Come on, mon frere Ducky,

come out, come out
wherever you are.

What're you looking for, chum?

I'm gonna catch
that silly duck!

He's the key ingredient
of my duck gumbo.

Ducks can be pretty
tricky to catch.

Oh, don't you worry none.
I'll find that duck all right.

I know these bayous
like the back of my hand.

I bet you don't know
as well as the back
of my hand.

- Uh...
-[HONKS]

[WHOOPS] Now, let's see
what this baby can do.

[WHOOPING]

-[BIRDS CAWING]
-[SCREAMING]

Get out of here
you screwy duck!

Hasn't anyone ever told you
not to mess with someone
when they're driving?

- Whoa, whoa, whoa!
-[DAFFY WHOOPS]

[LAUGHS AND GRUNTS]

[EXCLAIMS ANGRILY]
Now this Cajun is raging.

Gotta throw it into overdrive.

[HISSING]

Giddy up, bossy.

[NEIGHING]

Whoa!

-[ELMER MUMBLES]
- Welcome back
to the Gator Rodeo.

Can Elmer ride
the galloping gator,
for longer than 8.2 seconds?

- Let' find out.
-[SCREAMS]

In a stunning reversal,
the gator is riding
the cowboy.

I have seen it all.

[MUMBLES AND SCREAMS]

Leaping leeches and crawfish!

Where are you ducky, ducky?

Fais dodo, ducky, ducky.

Time for you to go to sleep.

Permanently. [LAUGHS]

- DAFFY: I'm up! I'm up!
- Huh?

I said, I'm up!

Oh, I'll just
have to go faster.

[DAFFY WHOOPING]

Yeah!

Uh-oh!

See you later, alligators.

Get off my boat
you crazy duck.

- Eyes forward, if I were you.
-[SCREAMS]

[SPUTTERING]

You know,
you're terrible at this.

[GROANS] Come here, you!

[WHOOPS]

Take that, and that, and that,
and that,

and that, and that...

Uh...
Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Alligator.

[CHUCKLES NERVOUSLY]
This is all a big
misunderstanding.

-[ROARING]
-[ELMER SCREAMING]

I hate to eat alone,

but in this case, bon appetit.

-[GROWLS]
- Oh, after you.

Hey, you didn't save me any.

[SNARLING]

That's fine by me.
As long as it's fine bayou.

Oh, boy.

You are here today
to witness a historic event.

Rhoda Roundhouse will be
the first person to climb

Mt. Killingmesoftly.

REPORTER 1: Rhoda,
why are you doing this?

Because this mountain
is undefeated.

I'm climbing up
to take it down.

REPORTER 2:
But you've never climbed
a mountain before.

I never smashed
a podium before, either.
[GRUNTS]

[EXCLAIMS] Or snap
the microphone in half.

[GRUNTING]

Or bench pressed a snowmobile
with an out-of-shape cameraman
sitting on top either.

[GRUNTS] Rhoda's got a rage.

BUGS: All right, Pacifico,

time to conquer
Mt. Killingmesoftly.

Hey rabbit,
what are you doing?

I'm climbing the mountain.

I'm super prepared, too.

My mule Pacifico here
has all my supplies.

Ropes, harness, spiky boots,

ice picks, tents,
plus my Christmas
sweater collection,

hair gel,
two bottles of shampoo,

I'm getting a lot
of dandruff lately,

and a waffle iron.

- A waffle iron?
- I can't climb
on an empty stomach.

I think it's wonderful
that you are climbing
this mountain.

In fact, let me help you
with all your supplies.

-[PACIFICO SCREAMING]
- Pacifico!

Oops! Did I do that?

What's the big idea
knocking all my supplies
off the mountain?

Sorry, my leg cramped.

Now I'm stuck here.

You can still
climb the mountain
as my Sherpa.

Oh, I love sherbet.

Orange sherbet, lemon sherbet,
rainbow sherbet...

That's basically all of them
put together.

I ain't talking
about ice-cream.

I'm talking about
you being my mountain guide.

Well, I don't have much choice
since you kicked all
my supplies off the mountain.

Okay, I'll be your Sherpa.

But, if we're gonna do this,
we're going all the way
to the top.

'Cause I don't start something
unless I finish it.

The only thing
you're gonna finish
is my victory speech.

After using you
to reach the peak.

[EXCLAIMS]

Now that you and I are
climbing as a team,

we have to be attached
by this rope.

Now, this is gonna be
a difficult task.

So, the key is
to take it slow-- [SCREAMS]

- BUGS: Rhoda, slow down.
- Can't stop, won't stop.

- RHODA: I'm almost at the top.
-[GRUNTS]

Wait, Rhoda!
There's falling rocks.

Huh? I don't see
any falling rocks. [GRUNTS]

Is that one? [GRUNTS]

Oh, now I see them. [GRUNTS]

That sign wasn't lying.

Yikes!

[STRAINING]

Don't worry Rhoda, I got you,
I'll pull you up.

Yeah, yeah,
just hurry up, already.

[GRUNTING] Stop pulling
the rope.

Don't stop pulling
the rope? Okay.

[GRUNTING AND GROANING]

Please don't!
[GRUNTS] Stop!

Oh, I won't stop, don't worry.

-[GRUNTS]
- Oh, there you are,
safe and sound.

For a guy with big ears,
you don't hear too good.

Hey Rhoda, wait, goats.

- RHODA: What?
- Too many goats
on the mountain.

I ain't afraid of no goats.

You don't understand,
mountain goats
are very territorial.

- Uh...
-[BLEETING]

[BLEETING]

[GRUNTING AND GROANING]

[SCREAMING]

-[GRUNTS]
- I tried to tell you, Rhoda.

Those mountain goats are
[BLEATS] bad news.

Shut your mouth.

Don't worry, Rhoda.

I know a safe way
to get past this crevasse

and on to the top
of the mountain.

But you have to listen to me,
your Sherpa.

No way. I'm gonna be
the first one to jump across
that crevasse, not you.

This is a Rhoda show,
I'm the star.

You just here
to get my coffee.

Ooh! It's Rhoda time, baby.

I guess I'll catch you later.

[GASPING] Rhoda's gotta rest.

Oh, hey Rhoda, you made it.
Would you like
your coffee now?

[WIND WOOSHING]

I can see the top,
we're almost there.

The top?
I gotta get there first.

Rhoda, wait!

You have to make sure
the ice doesn't-- [SCREAMING]

Help me, Rhoda.
Help, help me, Rhoda.

This rope isn't strong enough
to hold the both of us.

- You're gonna have to...
- Cut you loose?

-[SNIPS]
- I was gonna say pull me up.

Sorry, but there's
only room for one of us
on this mountain, Mr. Bunny.

[SCREAMING]

Fooled you, didn't I?

[STRAINING] Gotta make it,
can't give up.

[MUMBLING]

The only way we're gonna get
to the top of this peak,
is if we work together.

Nobody's climbing
this mountain but me!

Look, Rhoda,
either we work together,

or we stay here
and become icicles.

- What's it gonna be?
- Icicles.

Fine, we'll work together.
Rhoda rage!

[EXCLAIMS]

We did it, Mr. Bunny,
we made it to the top.

You could
be my Sherpa anytime.

No way, you could be mine.

PACIFICO: You can both
be my Sherpa.

Pacifico?

REPORTER: Pacifico,
how does it feel

to be the first one
up Mt. Killingmesoftly?

Feels pretty good.
Actually, it was
remarkably easy.

What?

- I guess we made a mountain
out of a mule hill.
- Hmm.
