cows fed their calvs direct they do they

nurse them until they get enough

colostrum but that only takes 3 or 4

days then we bucket feed them colostrum

what's that colostrum is the first milk

a cow gives after she drops her Cal

drops it oh the poor little thing how

come she does that how dumb can you be

that's what they call it when it CS you

know like when a horse fows

oh colostrums got everything in it a

newborn calf needs to give it a good

start in life it has a lot of stuff in

it that helps keep the Cals from getting

they kept falling flat on their faces

especially in their first month like

can get them past the first 3 months

you've got a pretty good chance of

winding up with a real milk cow what if

far I'll say one thing the food's great

it's wonderful out here in the country

everything's so fresh and green and

pretty and there's so many things to see

bet Annette you think you'd rather be be

a Dairy Farmer than a musketeer well

it's kind of fun being a mousketeer we

can't be Musketeers in that but we do

have all of the things that you folks in

the city enjoy radio TV good schools

churches movies and

neighbors and cows and

cows what's the matter muchi we haven't

heard a word out of you will you keep

telling me not to talk with my mouthful

oh that's right dear I

forgot Sammy want to see Romeo Romeo

who's he Hannah's husband guys no he's

our bll and he's a real tough

kind of mean looking isn't he guess he's

a little depressed

we've only had him a couple of days and

he's not used to it here yet most

animals get upset when they're mov

especially Cows and Bulls

temperamental they get peevish once in a

while just like people do you got to

kind of cater to them that is if you

want to keep them healthy and happy

about 40 of them there they are now

coming in from the

pasture you mean all those are his girls

sure on a dirty farm the cows are half

the herd the Bulls the other
