They're also going to be coming together
for special trio performances,

all in celebration of IF,
the new movie from Paramount Pictures.

I just remember tuning in
and my mom would elbow me

And it's crazy that that is me

[Shay] This is Hometown Week.

Looking at these lyrics, in a weird way,

I feel like that could be a love song
to your hometown.

Westfield, Massachusetts

and everyone in my community
has just supported me so much.

My confidence has grown so much,

especially because of my support
from Westfield.

And I teach kids now.
I teach them how to sing.

My students,
they've sent me video messages.

Good luck, Miss Madison.

Kids are now saying,
"Oh, I can't wait until I'm on 'The Voice'

and Madison is a coach
and then she can turn for me."

for helping me face my fears.

Being only 17, I think what I'm doing is
pretty crazy,

each and every one of my friends.

I always knew how amazing

So going with the acoustic version
of the song is a good play for Serenity.

She's given all these emotional
and impactful performances,

but we haven't got to really

hone in on her voice
as much as we have the performance.

I think this is going to go over well
with a lot of people.

a little bit more stripped down,

it gives it room to breathe.

I'm excited. I think I can build it more

About six years ago, I moved from Chicago
to Los Angeles to further my music career.

How do you think Chicago
molded you as an artist?

I think there's a groundedness to Chicago,
a lot of really hard workers.

I also had a really great theater group.

so many different genres
come out of Chicago,

and I think Maddi probably
owes a lot of her success

My brother, we would go
to the roller skating rink,

Moving to so many different states,
I've struggled trying to do country music.
