sitting on my grandpa's stomach when I

went to Disney World and um for dinner

we had pastry when I was 2 years old I

put my hands behind my back and ate a

whole stick of butter with my mouth I

was 1 years old I was watching my mom

cut the grass and I like in the recycle

being and she couldn't find me when I

was little my uncle came to see me for

the first time when I was a baby and he

threw me up in the air and he got my

head on the ceiling all of my kind of

childhood memories were wiped out

because my sister kept dropping me on my

head when I was about three or

four my mom says that you should need a

rainbow of fruits and vegetables because

different color fruits and vegetables

have different nutrients so today Taylor

and I are going to show you how to make

two fun colorful fruity Frozen snacks

the first one is called fruit freezy and

was sent in by a Randy SE of garden gr

California you need a blender for this

recipe so if you're not allowed to use a

blender at home make sure you ask an

adult for submiss okay so the first

thing you do is you put 8 oz of

strawberry yogurt into the blender I

love strawberry yeah I know it smells so

good my

favorite that's pretty good all right

now add two cups of cubed seedless

watermelon there we

go going to drink o I love watermelon I

know it's like one of my favorite fruits

and you add one cup of

strawberri strawberries are definitely

my favorite

St and now add one more medium siiz

peeled and sliced

banana

ham it smell good oh we do actually okay

now add 1/2 cup of orange

juice now when you have all your

ingredients in the blender blend for

about 30 seconds but before you start

blending make sure the cover of your

blender is on really really tight or

else everything might and

your blender has completely stopped it's

completely stopped and then pour into

paper

smells so good can't wait to try

this there we go good that's good okay

so once all your cups are filled take

some plastic spoons and put them handle

side up into each cup but if you notice

the spoons keep tipping to one side and

you don't want that to happen so take

some

foil and put it on so the spoon sticks

out we want the spoon to stay in place

then you want to put these into the

freezer for a few hours or until they're

completely Frozen okay right let's do

this here you go our next recipe is

called kiwi mango sbet okay I'll go wash

the blender and can you take over the

recipe

sure okay this recipe is sent in by Zach

orgon okay so this is a kiwi and this is

mango I've never seen a mango before so

I'm really excited to try it I'm back oh

to's back okay cool okay so first you

take four KES and cut them into slices

you want to put those into your blender

and you also need a fresh mango for this

recipe if you can't find a fresh one

then you can use can but if you use can

then you have to use a juice and this is

what the inside of mango looks like

looks kind of like an orange to me

actually it does that's so cool all

right and then you want to put that into

your blender too

y when that's done add 1 tbsp of orange

juice on now blend for 30 seconds should

it is on

tight pour the mixture into

a now we're going to cover our mixture

and plaster gr we're going to freeze

that for about an hour or until Ice

Crystal start to form all right you can

take that

back we have so that's already ready the

sorbet that's already been frozen needs

to be Blended for another 30 seconds the

reason we do this is because we want the

mixture to stay creamy and so it doesn't

freeze like a

pop there we go very

good again make sure the cover is on

tight

okay then you want to pour it back into

the cake

Canan then you want to put them into

your freezer

overnight this be

so we have so much I need to

eat okay we also have some fruit

freezies that are ready to

eat here we go all right there you go

why don't you start peeling off the cup

okay and I'll start scooping

great ah it's like gushy but a

cool there we go and get another spoon

to Ed Elementary School in Baltimore

marur and we working together to fix up

our school yard this is Mr M he's our

nature volunteer we're working with him

to improve our schoolyard that's right

together we're going to turn this

schoolyard into a habitat that will

attract more Wildlife like birds and

butterflies and maybe we can even get

our school G certified by the National

Wildlife Federation as certify who your

haveit that means we'll be recognized as

one of over 2,000 schools across the

country that are helping to affect

wildli but it's going to take a lot of

work you guys ready to do this

yeah let's do

it well as you know we have been talking

about butterflies a lot in the past few

weeks this is Miss Alicia she's the

nature volunteer she's going to help us

learn all about butterflies so that we

can get them to come to our school yard

you're going to pick a butterfly and

you're going to f out a couple of

questions on here about your butterfly

we're going to use this worksheet to

create our own posters he is my

butterfly I did a VI I took the viy

because I like the colors and because it

looks like the mono which is common in

Baltimore the Ry spends 49 days and the

L we need to learn what butterlies eat

during all the stages of their life so

that we can plant plants that provide

food for them in our butterfly garden

but while we were figuring out how to

attract butterflies to our school

another kind of insect decided to drop

by when we first started playing our

habitat we wanted to attract more

butterflies and birds but it seemed like

we attracted way more

around for about 5 weeks they didn't

damage our habitat much but birds are

right what kind of birds were we looking

for BL blue birds remember what they eat

insects insects right they're insect

divor so they like to eat

insects you want to make sure the hole

is line up before you scre what are some

of the problems why aren't bluebirds

able to find uh homes um people are

choing down trees build houses yeah

maybe to build houses or or they want to

build a parking lot for a new shopping

mall or something all of this is part of

a greater problem which we've been

talking about which is habitat

loss that part there what about this

this roof why is the roof the way it is

it's like that so the end the summer

they can have

shap that was a bird I'm Liv that'll be

fine is we talked about some more

get up there they can't put their paws

all the way around it because it's too

remember yeah it's either too slippery

or it'll wobble or it's too wide for for

predators to get their paws

around so one other thing that we'll

have to do is check our Box open it up

and then you can see the nest inside or

if we need to clean it out we can might

see some eggs in there okay this is our

way that we're going to do that so then

after a while we'll close it we'll mark

down what we see and then put the screw

back in so we'll use these two

holes and then we can put the Predator

guard through this one

maybe we pick the spot for the bird box

because it's near trees and blue birds

like to live in

trees blue birds like to swoop out of

trees and catch insects that eat we got

our box up we got our Predator guard on

so for now we're going to leave it like

this and we'll go from

Maryann who used to go to our school

Maryann walks with clutches because she

has th P but she sure as a fast bike

rider when we heard that she wanted to

ride in Marathon and needed our help

getting there we wanted to do whatever

we could to help that's when we decided

to have a hopon and the way we raised

money was by each finding a sponsor who

would pay a penny for every hop we have

we think our Hoppers hop 20,000 hops The

Hop and we met our goal too which was

$200 go
