more welcome to Cafe Zoom Jessica e of

Salt Lake City Utah sent us the recipe

for frozen watermelon even though it's

called Frozen watermelon you don't need

any watermelons to make it with the Shor

and chocolate chips you can make a

dessert that looks just like like

watermelon lime sherbet is the r

raspberry sherbet is the fruit and

chocolate chips are the

seeds first take one quart of lime

sherbet and take it out of the freezer

and leave it to soften it shouldn't take

that long then spread the lime sherbet

on the insides of a large mixing

bowl this could take a few minutes

spread it on sides you I'll put the

bottom first so it's got like a

base I made this for my dad once he

loved

it then once you're done The Whole Bowl

put it into the freezer to

harden I've got one already made and it

should look like

this then take one quart of raspberry

sherbet and take it out of the freezer

to the

soften

then mix the raspberry

sherbet 12 O of chocolate

chips serber

slippery put a

little okay maybe a little

more okay and mix it with chocolate

chips

I like the chocolate chips and the shmer

I didn't think it' be that good but it

really

is think I need more

right then once your lime sherbet is

Harden you can put your raspberry

sherbet and chocolate chip

mixture in the center of the bowl

okay then put it into the freezer one

more time to harden

water and leave it there for a few

seconds the hot water helps the

watermelon just pop right out

months but I wish I could sail all year

round one of the reasons I love to sail

is because I love to

Outdoors when I'm on the water I really

like it because I'm alone and it's very

quiet the first thing I have to do is to

get my sale ready

now I'm going to get ready to put the

sail on the

boat the part I'm working on now is the

mass and then down here is the Boom the

Boom is what holds up the sail and that

boom connects to the MK this part is

called the sprit it's what lifts the

sail to keep it in the

air I will then connect the main sheet

which is this line connects right to

here this will allow me to trim and to

let out the sail I'm now ready to put my

boards in this board is the center board

it will keep me going straight on my

course and this is the rudder this was

what I will steer

with I always have my life jacket and

boots on when I go

sailing when you use the runner it's the

opposite of a steering wheel

when you push it to the left you'll go

right and when you push it to the right

you'll go left when the wind hits my

sail it pushes me sideways but when I

put my Center board in the water it will

keep me going straight when I trim the

main sheet which pulls in the sail and I

have my Center board down I can steer

with my Rudder so that I will go

wherever I want to

go my favorite part about sailing is

racing I love it because it's very

competitive

when I race I think about mainly where

the wind is I also think where other

people are so that I know where I can

Tack and where I can't tacking is when

the wind will totally cross the boat so

I'll be heading in a different

direction it doesn't matter if I win I

just love to race

quite easy you take a big black pot that

is quite Snee you put in a cold along

with a hot into the big black bubbling

pot you add a pinch of this a spoonful

of that then you put in your mother's

old hat throw in your stinky gym socks

and some of your best friend's

collection of rocks then squeeze a gross

fying tomato into a purple green potato

add in a cat's tail along with

yesterday's mail then you take your big

black pot and put it on the fire you

make the fire really high and sit down

and sigh then you think and realize I'd

challenged us to invent a way to move a

heavy object across the room without

caring it we thought our heavy object

could be right these are the mat that we

can use we should try a bunch of things

I think you could blow the balloons up

but not all the way make them so they're

small so that cuz if they're smaller

they won't pop as easily because it's

not pulled as tight like if you blow

them up like this

big they can help roll but would they

roll yeah but they was I don't think

they would roll the marbles would roll

oh sorry the mar yeah the mar look look

the marbles would roll but they're a

little small if we laid them all out

they would just go all over the place I

idea see this mm we can use something

like this to hold it up on the board

yeah and then we like put these inside

because these will roll and so since

those will be holding on to this it'll

mean these would roll because it's going

horizontally but how would these roll if

they're like going straight on

I think you could take a whole bunch of

these and put them on both ends of here

so it acts as like wheels and then you

can put all the marbles in the middle so

then it all be one big rly thing but if

we took a balloon and blew it up and

then we could like I don't know but wrap

um newspaper around it would that roll

or would this roll better okay yeah I

think it I don't know I mean the

newspaper it' be kind of slippy yeah I

can see about this thing it wouldn't

roll as well because friction slow

friction is

like it slows object down and make you

cuz if okay say you're running and stop

friction stops you if you if there's no

friction you slide so it's what makes

you stop like keeps you on your feet

it's it's going to go this way it's

going to fall down this way okay it was

for the zoom mous backpack challenge

kids from all over the country have been

weighing their backpack for five days in

a row Monday through Friday and then

sending us our dat we found that the

most common backpack weight for girls is

six PB and the most common backpack

weight for boys is

4B so there's a two lb difference

between the most common backpack weight

for girls and boys you know one book

could make up that difference or

someone's lunch it's pretty heavy lunch

looks like the girls have slightly

heavier backpacks I wonder why that is

if you have any explanations to zoom

backpack for 5 days in a row Monday

through Friday do it as soon as you get
