12x03 - Parents' Weekend

[whooshing]

- [Announcer] In 1919,
Dracula and Bram Stoker

forged a pact as monster and man

to merge their two worlds
together in harmony.

The result: Bram University.

[discordant fanfare]

[eerie drum beat]

- Hello, freaks and fiends,

to another episode of
Dimension 20: Shriek Week.

My name is Gabe Hicks, and
I am your storyteller today,

with my fantastic crew of characters.

So we're going to do a quick
roundabout of introductions.

Ify.

- Yeah, what's up?

Ify, in control of Terry Talbow.

You know, esteemed thespian, businessman,

and the person who's going to figure out

what the hell is going on around here.

[Ally laughing]

- We've got Ally.

- Hi, I am completely
controlling Megan Mirror.

I've got her under my f*cking thumb.

[all laughing]

She's going to make some
really beautiful food today.

Okay, that is my goal.

A gorgeous fermentation
project gone right.

- [Lily] Okay.
- Yet to have happened.

- Definitely.

- Lily.

- Hi, I'm Lily.

I am absolutely just dominating,

in a non-sexual, completely controlled,

based kind of mental,
physical puppetry, Tuti,

who has yet to go on a date,
but has accidentally k*lled.

And so she's doing all right.

- Accidentally? "And I pulled tighter."

- Oops.

- Can I roll again to k*ll extra?

[all laughing]

- And then Dani.

- Yes, I am Dani Fernandez,
and I am playing Seven,

who is a wild, I mean, just like,

totally different person than me.

I've never played anyone like this.

Don't know anyone like this.

- [Ally] She's kind of highest status-

- Yeah.
- [Ally] You know?

- I don't relate to her at all,

so I find that very fun.

- Nice.
- Yeah, definitely.

Yeah, definitely.

- [Dani] Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- We believe that.

- I really wanted to, but
her smile was like, exciting,

and there was a little bit of fear in me,

because I'm like, Seven's
done a lot of stuff.

So Dani, not know if she's sarcastic,

I'm intimidated and
impressed simultaneously.

- My dad is a count, it's true.

- [Ally] Yeah.
- That's the only part

that's true.
- [Gabe] Awesome.

- He is made of felt, so-

- [Gabe] Oh.

Right, well, let's get into
today's episode of Shriek Week.

And we're going to start
it like we have the others,

where you hear the
delightful click of the radio

in the beginning and you
get a nice little message

from two of your favorite
figures on campus.

- [Swamp Thing] It's Wednesday.

And today is going to be a
merry-go-round of excitement.

- [Fen] So all you Monstars out there,

meet me in the parking lot.

- [Swamp Thing] But not for a scrap.

- [Fen] For the carnival.

All of the rides, toys and
games have been prepped

and are ready for you to enjoy.

- [Swamp Thing] Hey, so
shuffle on down, Charlie Brown,

put it in gear, creatures of fear,

fly right there as a scary pair.

- [Fen] Wheel to your
destination, Freddy and Jason.

- [Swamp Thing] Honestly,
that was decent. Respect.

And don't forget to swing by assembly room

in the lecture hall,

to heart some art.
- [Fen] That's right.

The student art walk: pieces
made by students for students.

- [Swamp Thing] Just for you.

So, you frivolous fiends, go
out there and shriek that week.

[Fen howls]

- All right.

- And today it is actually
a little quieter on campus.

- Oh no.
- [Ally] okay.

- You don't hear as much rustling around.

None of the same footsteps.

Seven, you look outside,
and outside on a branch,

you see sitting there,
a three-headed pigeon.

But it kind of like, tilts
its head a little bit.

Looks at you and flies off.

- Sickos around here.

[Lily laughs]

- And I feel like we can
reasonably assume all of you

wake up relatively early,

make your way out of your dorm room,

and you see each other,

but there's no one else
really in the halls right now.

- Whoa.

- You know, I was thinking about it,

and it was weird yesterday,

when only Mothman was here,
and now it's even weirder,

when no one else is in our dorms.

- Can we try to open up some of the doors?

See if any of them are
like, left unlocked?

I just want to look in
people's rooms and see like,

if it looks like they left-

- [Lily] Yeah.
- Any clues, or like,

I don't know.
- Yeah. Yeah.

There is a red door, a
green door and a blue door.

- Red door. Like my grandma's perfume.

- Is this Ally or Megan?

- By Elizabeth Arden.

- This is both Ally and Megan.

- Dope. All right.

So, you go to the red
door and it is unlocked.

- I feel like you should knock.

I mean, there's a lot of perv behavior

happening around here.

- Yeah. Definitely lot
of pervs. I can feel it.

Okay. I go in. What?

- You've knocked, and then you hear that.

- Oh, hey, what's up? It's Megan.

- Do we know who usually
lives in this room?

- You know that there was a
troll that lived in that room.

- Hey.

[incomprehensible growling]

Can I come in?

- Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Sure. Open the door.

- Tuti, get ready to k*ll.

[all laughing]

Hey, what's up?

- [Gabe] Hi.

And you do see what looks
to be like a very thin troll

sitting on their bed.

They are fully clothed.

They have kind of like
a fragile looking frame.

- Can I see their stomach?

- No, they're wearing clothes.
They're wearing a shirt.

- No, that's something I ask.

Can I see your stomach?

- I'm doing some tasteful nude,

semi-nude photography for the art walk.

I'm getting some last-minute shots-

- [Ally] It's going to be
called Tuti's Unwrapped.

- Yeah, yeah.
- Isn't that a cool name?

- Yeah.
- It could be a TV show.

- Don't you want to be part of that? BUS-

- We came in super hot. I apologize.

I do apologize for that.

- Four of us just came in here-

- Would you like an egg bite?

- Now, we're asking to
see your belly button.

- Yeah.
- And I'm just going to-

- I just want to know if there
was a gem in there, actually.

So this wasn't even like for a clue.

- Is this a kink thing?

- Absolutely.
- [Ally] Absolutely.

There's a lot of pervs around here,

and it starts with us.
- No.

I just like the smell of your room.

I'm just getting a good sniff.

- Yeah, it's something we all do.

- [Ify] To see if I smell anything.

- [Lily] Do you want that photo?

- Are you with them?

- Oh, no.

I'm not.

And-
- [Gabe] That's almost

more confusing.

- Sorry that I blocked you.

- The trolling thing is a metaphor.

- You're not an actual internet troll.

You're just a troll on the internet.

- Sometimes you're trolling.

- Yeah. Sometimes you do troll.

- Yeah. But that's like-

- You literally called me a five head.

- You literally tried to sell me Ray-Bans

with a big discount.

- That's not trolling.
- [Gabe] That's one.

- That's spam.
- [Gabe] That's because

I respected you, and like,

look, five heads are better than three.

Cerberus is slacking. You were k*lling it.

- [Lily] Do you want the photo?

- Do I smell anything in this room?

- [Gabe] Physical?

- Can we start over? I'm
so sorry. Good morning.

- [Gabe] Physical, social, social.

Are you trying to do
anything at this moment?

- Sure. Why not?

- Actually, make it mental for me.

- [Dani] Okay.

- One success with seven, four, two, five.

- Seven, four, two, five. One success.

- Two successes. Eight, seven, three.

- [Gabe] Eight, seven, three.

- Nine and an eight.
- [Gabe] Okay.

- [Ally] Oh.
- Two, seven, nine.

- [Gabe] Got it. Okay.

- [Ally] Wow.

- We rock.
- [Gabe] Yeah.

- Finally.

- Thank God. We need to make
up for whatever that was.

- That was interesting.

- [Ally] I'm so sorry. Can
I see your stomach though?

No, I'm just kidding. No, we started over.

We started over. I'm
so sorry. I'm so sorry.

- Wow.

- With the mental, that was to discern;

this person doesn't seem to be acting

weird in a bad way.

Like, they're kind of confused
about what's happening,

a little unsure, but
they're not acting like,

weirdly or animatronic.

Like when you were seeing Teddy yesterday.

And you're sniffing the room.
Nothing smells out of place.

It actually smells just like a dorm room.

Like it's lived in,

you can see that there's stuff around it.

So it seems pretty normal.

They lift up their shirt.
- Thank God.

- It's pretty thin, like the rest of them.

There is no gem, just
an innie belly button.

- Is it red?
- [Gabe] No.

- You want that photo,
right? What do you want?

Portrait mode.
- Sure. Yeah.

[Lily mimics camera shutter]

- We're going to need
ongoing enthusiastic consent,

actually, so can you delete those photos?

You seemed a little unsure,

and we don't want to like,
pressure you into anything.

- I don't know how to pose.

- Okay, so this-

- Came into my room and said,

"Can I see your belly button?"

- Yeah, I-
- [Lily] I'll delete them.

I'll delete all of them.

- That's on me.

- The troll, like, are
they thin in the sense of

that's just their body type, or-

- This one is just very thin.

- Okay.

- I do have a question.

- [Gabe] Okay.
- Have you noticed

any of your friends go
missing, or anything like that?

- Yes, actually.

It seems like it's been a
little quieter on campus,

but I assumed everyone just went on a trip

and just left me.

- Two important things.
- [Gabe] Okay.

- First up, avoid plants.

- Can we-
- We can't explain it now,

but there's a whole situation

where plants seem to be
attacking and eating people.

Second thing; As I Like
It, it's a great brand,

spanking dramatic production
that's going to be happening-

- I've heard things about it, actually.

- I hear it's going to be great.

- Yeah.
- I hear it's going to be

really good.
- [Ify] You're ready for that.

- Can I look around to
see if there are plants

in this room right now?

- There's there's no plants in the room.

- You just wake up with a gravelly-

- Do you have a sore throat?

- No. Why?

- Why was your voice so
gravelly through the door?

- Oh, I was drinking water,

and then I heard a knock on the door,

and I was choking a little bit.

- Hmm.
- [Lily] Oh.

Is there a water glass
around? Can we look?

- Yeah, there's like a
water glass behind him that-

- [Dani] Okay, I believe you.

- [Ally] Definitely, yeah. Checks out.

- Let's go to another room.

- Yeah, because this was a total success.

- But yeah. Sorry. We
didn't mean to bug you.

- I'll see you at the carnival.

I hope you come check out my photos.

You could be in it. But I deleted them.

But you could, if you wanted.

- Yeah, just be careful.

There is something fishy going on.

- You know what? Before we leave.

Like, have you talked to Teddy recently?

- Teddy? Oh, the flesh guy.

- Uh-huh, the flesh guy.
- Flesh guy.

- A little bit. Not really.

Like, when I was just getting food. Why?

- Oh, just wondering if
you'd talked to him recently.

- Saw him, like, out
my window this morning,

seemed like a little pale.

Wasn't wearing pants or anything.

- Yeah, okay.

That's maybe the first thing
that would come to my mind.

- Yeah.
- Is he out?

Can we look and see if
he's out there right now?

- [Gabe] You don't see him outside.

- What are you up to today?

Do you want to just like,
hang out? I'm worried.

I'm worried that this
person's going to get picked.

- Who cares?

- No, I might play some Switch.

- [Dani] Yeah, that sounds-
- Great. Amazing.

Animal Crossing. Yeah.
- [Ally] You should do that

in public.

- Can you leave?

- Yeah.
- Yes, absolutely.

We're so sorry. We're out of here.

- [Ally] I'm just saying,
we're dropping like flies.

- Get out, get out, get out.

I push Megan out.
- Can I see your stomach?

- I show my stomach. I flash her.

- Okay, bye.

- [Lily] Thank you.

- They shut the door behind
you, and you hear it.

- I knock on the next available door.

- Blue or green?

- I'ma do green.

- You don't hear anything from green.

- Hey, ghost inside real
quick. See if you see anything.

- Can I do that?

- You try to do that
and you collide with it.

You can assume that like,
you haven't really tried,

but it's kind of reasonable
for them to make rooms

that ghosts can't just walk through.

- At Monster University.

- [Lily] Rude.
- Yeah.

- Yeah. Monsters University.

- [Ify] I'll jiggle to see if it's locked.

- It's locked.

- I do that thing where like,

have you ever had those
doors where you just,

you could muscle it?

If you turn the knob
hard enough, it'll open?

- Yeah.

- I'm trying to do that.

- Okay, roll. But with one less die.

- [Ify] Oh. Okay.

Ooh. A 10 and eight and two.

- Okay.

You just kind of break the handle off.

- Oops.

- Breaking and entering.

- I said oops.

- [Lily] We're all
tuition-paying students.

- It was an accident. Because I said oops.

- Oops.
- Oops.

- Oops.
- Oops.

- Oops. Oops.

- All right. Let's just go inside.

- And I look also in Terry's eye,

to see if it's still golden.

- More of the eye is
golden than it was before.

- [Ally] More of it.
- [Lily] Uh-oh.

You're going to turn
into a little gold wolf.

- You're going to look really fancy

at the opening of your show.

- How about you do me a
favor, and wrack your brain,

your ancient brain, and
see if you can figure out-

- Ageism.

- [Ify] It's not ageism.
- [Ally] Will you wrack

your ancient brain?

- I'm trying to.
- [Ify] I'm not trying

to be mean, I'm just saying that you have-

- Is it because I said, "Little wolf"?

- No, it's not.

I'm just saying you have seen
way more than a lot of us.

So you might've encountered
something like this.

- Can I do a mental check for if I have?

- Absolutely.

- A three, a three and
a one. A critical fail.

- [Gabe] You remember King Midas,

but what you remember is

not necessarily super helpful.

You remember some people
had tried to capture

the eye of Midas,

recreate it, and it worked
really well for some people.

Some people actually like,
found happiness with it.

Others turned to gold. You don't know why.

But it was just kind of
a toss up in the air.

- Okay. I'm remembering stuff about Midas.

Some people have recreated
it. He was a Sagittarius.

- That's not relevant.
- [Lily] He loved long walks

on the beach.
- Don't really care

about that.
- Some people had tried

to recreate it to varying
degrees of success.

- [Ify] Okay, yeah.
- Some of them turned

themselves fully into gold.

- All right. So, it seems
like no useful information.

- [Lily] Okay, I thought some of that

was kind of useful.

Sagittarius.
- No, that's not.

- Yeah. Total travelhead.

- [Lily] Yeah.

- Yeah, I'm going to
just go into this room.

- Yeah, let's go. I'll
be right behind you.

- You walk into the room.

There is so much gardening material here.

You see what looks to be
like tiny hoes and shovels,

and I mean the gardening tool.

And you see a small bed,

you see a couple of different
red caps lining the walls.

- Oh, God.
- Oh.

- [Ify] It looks like we might've found-

- Red Caps?

- Who started this. Can we-

- Gnomes?

- This is literally
Kevin's room, you guys.

- [Lily] Yeah, what are you talking about?

- [Dani] Kevin's room.
- [Lily] There's like-

- [Ify] I'm thinking-
- [Ally] I don't know, though.

- [Ify] Maybe the gnomes
started this plant bullshit.

- Or maybe the plants
just hopped onto like,

an infrastructure that was already there.

Gnomes, plants.
- We should go check out

those eggplants that they were growing.

- Whoa, yeah.
- I'm going to go

into pure Sherlock howls mode right now.

And think it's very elementary.

Maybe, after a certain
someone put a gnome on-

- No.
- [Ify] Don'tDateHim-

- [Dani] Don't look at me.
- They decide to go-

- Why are you looking at me?

- [Ify] Exact revenge on this whole campus

by letting loose these k*ller plants.

- Incel. That's what I have to say.

- [Ally] Yes.
- That sounds like an incel.

- [Ally] Yes.
- He gets mad at a woman,

and then takes it out on an
entire campus? I'm sorry.

- I mean, I feel like-

- [Dani] That before on CNN.

- He got angry for being
unjustly put on a site.

- I heard that he was justly put on there,

and that he's crazy.
- [Ify] Oh, you do?

You heard it?

- [Lily] Are there any
like, gardening shears

or sharp things in the room?

- [Gabe] Yeah. Small ones.

- I take some shears
just for me, for later.

- Yeah, can I take some, too?

- Yeah, they're like
pairs of scissors in here.

- Okay, I look at the laptop,

because I want to see his incel behavior.

- The only thing you see on his laptop

when you open it up is Don'tDateMe.com.

- Can we see if anyone new's been added?

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

- [Ally] We scroll.

- You see Kool-Aid man, which is-

- [Dani] Wow.

- Okay.

Flasher, flasher, flasher.

- [Ally] No boundaries.

- No boundaries. He just breaks in.

- [Ify] He just busts through those walls.

Not in the way you usually want them to.

- [Dani] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- Seems like the most recent edition.

But it is on Kevin's page.

- Okay, so he's angry. He is angry.

- Wow.
- [Ally] He's aware of it.

- [Ify] The day I crack
this whole b*tch open,

and now here's-

- Why are you in a
detective-y mood this morning?

- I feel good. I feel like, you know-

- We're getting closer.
We are getting closer.

- As we started doing this,
it became a character,

and I'm kind of thespian.
- I mean,

I was wondering why you had a pipe,

and you were smoking indoors.

It's kind of crazy.

- What is that ticking
sound? Get out of here.

Get out of here.
- Okay, we run.

- Let's go, let's go.

- We run, we run.

I run, I run.
- I'll run out of there.

- Me too.
- I'll run out of there.

- You all just leave Kevin's room?

- [Lily] Yes.

- Okay.

- No.

- I mean, you still hear ticking
coming from Kevin's room.

- [Ally] Okay, wait.

- Wait, okay.
- You go back in.

You're strong.
- [Lily] I hear ticking.

I hear ticking that's a b*mb.
- You're strong

and you're smoking.

- I hear ticking that's a b*mb.

- [Ally] No, I'm running, I'm running.

- [Lily] I'm running.
- No, you have to go back.

- [Lily] I run away.

You guys-
- We flip a coin.

Okay, everyone roll.

Whoever gets the lowest
has to go in. Ready?

One, two, three-
- I'm not going in.

I'm not going in.
- [Ally] You have to.

- I got a four.
- I got a one.

- Whoa, I got a four.

- [Ify] I got a five.
- I got an eight.

- I run in.

- [Dani] You're a ghost.

- Tell my family I love
them, even my shitty sister.

- Nobody has to go in.

- [Ally] Looking for
whatever the f*ck this is.

- [Dani] Oh my gosh-

- You leave the door open,
or do you shut the door?

- Leave the door open.

- Close the door.
- No, you all run.

Go on without me.

- Okay, we all run away.
- [Ally] I'm a ghost.

Okay, I'm looking everywhere.

- Time to wake up, Kevin.
Time to wake up, Kevin.

- Okay.
- [Gabe] Time to wake up,

Kevin.
- Nine more minutes.

- I felt so scared. Oh, my
God, my heart is racing.

- Oh, so Kevin isn't even here
to wake up from his alarm.

So he's also missing.
- Oh. Good.

Good catch.
- Yeah, yeah. Great.

Give me that f*cking pipe.

Now I'm smoking the pipe,
because I'm so nervous.

- Can we go to the garden?
Can we go to the garden?

- We can go to the garden
after I do one thing.

- No, you don't need to sniff anything.

- Yeah. Sniff around. Get
high off of that fertilizer.

- [Dani] Wow.

- Oh, seven, eight, one and two.

- Something interesting happens.

- [Ify] Oh.
- I need you to roll

a second time.
- [Ify] Oh sh*t.

Six, six, seven and 10.
- [Gabe] Oh good.

You take in a deep breath,

and then you cover your nose
as you take a deep breath,

because you got a whiff
of the smell of ammonia.

- Oh.

That's weird.

- What'd you smell?

- [Ify] Ammonia.

- Okay, is ammonia in gardening?

- Is it a cleaning thing?
- [Ify] Well, yeah-

- It's definitely a cleaning thing.

- But it can also be a garden thing.

But yeah, I'd like to
take a investigative look

around the room.

- Make it mental.
- [Ify] You got it.

- [Lily] Do we all do?
- Yeah, you absolutely

all can, if you'd like to.

- [Dani] There's so-

- Four, four, one. This is a room, y'all.

This is a f*cking room.

- Seven, seven, one.

- [Gabe] Seven, seven, one.

- Ooh, I got two 10s and two eights.

- [Ally] Oh sh*t.
- [Gabe] Perfect.

What'd you get?

- I didn't roll.

I'm thinking about what I want to use.

I kind of want to use psychology.

- [Gabe] Do it, yeah.

Try to flip the psychology of Kevin.

- Get into his brain.

- [Lily] No.
- What you get, Ally?

- 10, a 10, a 10, and a 10.

Six. Almost there, right?

- [Gabe] Of course.
- A five. Whoops.

A one and a one.

- [Gabe] Oh.

Perfect.

So, you two are just like,
looking through Kevin's things.

You actually find some
food that looks like

it's been sitting out for a while.

Like it maybe has been
sitting here overnight.

So you can surmise that
Kevin hasn't been here like,

since last night.

- Kevin was the hottest gnome.

This is going to be really sad

for the gnome community on campus.

- Maybe he's like, out getting laid.

- Like maybe that's why
he didn't come home.

- You two, as you're looking around,

you find a folder underneath Kevin's bed.

You pick it up and you look inside,

and it says, "Kevin's tasteful nudes."

And a couple of them
fall out in front of you.

And Kevin is like, sitting legs crossed,

looking to the side, staring at you.

And for a moment you hear
a voice in your head.

"Think I'm sexy. Don't you?"

- Wow.

- Wow.
- Whoa.

I mean, these are some good nudes.

- They're sexy.
- I wish my nudes, you know?

My dirty pics-
- Yeah, definitely.

- And the pages go blank
after you look at them.

- Wait, like I looked,
and then it vanished?

- [Gabe] Mhmm.

- Is this like a kind
of like disappearing,

Snapchat kind of effect

that you can add to
like a hard copy photo?

Is there like a replay option,

even though they'll see
that you hit replay?

- You both feel a burning
sensation on your right bicep.

- I check.

- [Gabe] There you go.

It is a tattoo of Kevin's tasteful nude.

- What?

- Wait a minute, when did you
guys go out and get those?

- We didn't.
- Yeah, yeah.

- [Lily] What?
- Yeah, no, we-

- Wait, do I know what kind
of photo paper that is?

Can I do a check?

- Yeah. Make a mental check.
- [Lily] Photography check.

- Oh yes. Photography.

- Nine, one, five, nine.

- It was cursed paper that basically

projected a reflection of an
image on to something else.

- [Ally] Okay.
- That was cursed photo-

- [Ally] So this is permanent, right?

- That's really beautiful.

- Yeah, well it feels like,
you know, Seven's right.

This is an incel,

who's like sending
something worse than a nude.

Cursed paper that tattoos the nude on you.

- Yeah. I did not want
this to be my first tattoo.

- [Lily] I didn't know
ghosts could get tattooed.

- We got matching tattoos.
- We did.

That's kind of cool. That's kind of cool.

- [Lily] I didn't know
ghosts could get tattoos.

- Yeah, this is on me for eternity,

when all I wanted was just
like a cool, like, anchor

or something.
- It's crazy he's doing this

just because he hates all women.

It's wild that he's doing this-

- [Ify] I don't think that's it.

- [Dani] Because he hates women.

- We don't know that it's not true,

but we also don't know that it's true.

- [Dani] It's definitely crazy-

- [Ify] We would know a lot more.

- [Dani] That all women.

- Definitely I did used to
want to go to Kevin's room,

and now I'm like, I don't
want to be in here anymore.

- Tuti, you have a cell phone, right?

Would you say you do, or no?

- [Lily] Yes. We all have cell phones.

- Yeah, so your phone goes off.

There's a text message alert.

- What does it say?

- It's from Cleetus.
- Oh. What does it say?

- I'm ready to do the
carnival special date,

if you're still interested.

- We need to go look at the eggplants.

- Here's the thing, here's-

- Okay, I got to go on this date.

- [Ify] Yeah, you go on your date.

I'm going to go look in the
garden. I need more clues.

I feel like we're on
it, I take my pipe back.

- Okay, yeah. I got my fix.

- Are you going to cover your sleeve,

or are you just going to show the-

- [Ify] Yeah, I got a long sleeve.

- Yeah, me too, my crushed
velvet long sleeve.

- Your sleeve, but I can see
a little bit of it still-

- [Ally] Glowing through it.
- [Dani] I can see some-

- Before we leave, can I
kind of till through the soil

and see if there's any
weird roots or like,

bulbs or something like that?

- Yeah, so you're tilling through the soil

and you do find what looks to be like,

a bunch of like sprouts and saplings,

like starting to pierce the foliage.

- But that looks like his
normal like, cool stuff

that he's planting,

or does it look like what
we've been interacting?

- It's hard to tell, because none of you

know that stuff well,

but technically, all
of you do know someone

who is very good at plants,
and has planting as a hobby.

Cleets.

- Oh.
- [Ally] Oh.

Okay.
- Take this soil-

- Yeah.
- To Cleets.

- Baggie. Is there a baggie?

- Yeah, maybe we can put
some of the like, sapling-

- [Dani] Yeah.

- Go ask him about it.

We'll look at the garden.
- [Lily] Okay.

- Have a good date.

You know, don't be afraid
to go behind a bleacher

and get a little S to D action.

- Wait, he won, right?
- [Dani] Yes.

- Okay, well put a pin in that.

He won and it sounded
really ominous and scary

that the winners were going to be treated

kind of freaky, right?
- Yes, I felt that way too.

Like they were going
to win a special prize.

Okay, Megan, just come with me.

- [Ify] You know what?
- [Ally] Okay.

Yeah, I would love to.
- Okay, and then me and Seven

will go to the garden.
- All right, great.

I'll take out a pipe too.

- Wait, how does everyone have a pipe?

- [Lily] This is huge. This is a bong.

- [Ally] That's so cool.

You just take out a bong
and you hold it sideways?

Okay.

- Game on.

- Beautiful, okay.

So we have Tuti and Megan
going to the parking lot,

and then you two are going to the garden,

and you do find out
that the garden is back

behind the science lab.

First, we're going to go to the garden,

and it is a beautiful community garden.

There are rows and rows of plants, trees,

all sorts of things.

You see things that
look vibrant, life-like,

and some of them are
even moving on their own,

but it's not terrifyingly strange.

This is a monstrous academy.

And you do see a
greenhouse in the distance.

- I think we go to the greenhouse.

- Yeah.
- [Gabe] Interestingly enough,

you two see two of your
favorite faces there.

You see Asterith and Korra,

who actually look like they are tilling

to some areas of the garden.

- Hey. What y'all doing over here, yuh?

- [Gabe] Oh, well I'm here
to help out Asterith here.

Asterith loves a good
pomegranate. I do. I genuinely do.

- Adding, "Yuh," to the end
of the question is so funny.

"What are you doing here, yuh?"

- [Dani] I'm good, yeah.
- [Gabe] What are you two

doing here?

- Oh, we just came to admire-

- Yeah.

- All of the scenery.

- Yeah, I realize it's been a whole week,

and I haven't had a chance
to check out the greenhouse.

- [Lily] Yeah.

The garage. Yeah.

- Yeah. No.

- Make a social check for
me. That was a great-a*s lie.

- Nine, four, four.
- [Gabe] Nine, four, four.

- Eight, five, five, two.
- [Gabe] Got it.

That makes sense. I guess. Yeah.

- It looks like we ran into something

more beautiful than some flowers.

- Wow.
- Oh my God.

- Have y'all seen anything
suspicious, by chance?

Anything weird, out of the
ordinary? Weird, creepy, weird?

- Maybe not weird,

but I've been looking for my cousin Fen,

and I have not seen him around at all.

- [Ify] Yeah.

- [Dani] What did they look like?

- [Gabe] Barely a werewolf.

Beautiful tones of gray,
a little bit to their fur.

I thought they were
spending time with you,

but I-
- Isn't that your cousin?

- No, we're not all cousins.
- Wow, okay. God.

- [Gabe] You know what?
She was just asking.

- Okay.

I feel like you have a crush,

so you're like, "No, really
call her out on her BS."

- Wow.
- [Ify] Definitely feels like.

- Look, all women are queens.
- Okay, okay.

That's going to be my line
in a couple of seconds.

That's true.
- [Gabe] Yes.

- All women are queens.
- That's true.

- [Ify] All right, look, I got to say,

can we let you in on something?

- [Gabe] Sure.

- We think there's some weird
plants kidnapping people.

I mean, did y'all see
what happened last night,

when that tree disappeared
in the middle of the quad?

- I thought we were all high.

- No, we weren't.

- Mothman was on some sh*t,
so I just kind of assumed.

- No, so that's going down in a big way.

We're kind of investigating
it and you know?

So if you see of anyone missing...

And I pull out my phone, and
like, you can give me a call.

- Is that the only reason I can call you?

- Oh, you can call me for other reasons.

- [Gabe] Okay.
- Yeah.

But, uh-
- You should show her

your new tattoo.

[all laughing]

- [Dani] Yes.
- [Gabe] You got a tattoo?

- [Dani] You should show her-

- [Ify] You, oh, you.

No, it hurts too much
to show you right now,

but I promise.

I need more stuff added on top of it.

When I get that added-
- Make a social roll.

- Oh no.

- Oh yes. 10, six, three.

- Yeah. Okay. Sure.

- [Dani] You will love
it. It's delightful.

Very vulnerable. Open.

[Ify growling]

- Seven.

You're so funny.
- You jokester.

You jokester.

- But anyway, we're going
to go into the greenhouse,

but I'll be texting
you about other things.

- Yeah, do.
- [Ify] Hopefully,

when this is all figured out.

- [Gabe] Deal.
- Yeah.

- [Gabe] As you're walking away,

Korra just looks at you and
like, winks and softly smiles.

I'm glad we aren't that strange.

- I know. Yeah. It's a lot to watch.

- Yeah. Yeah. Oh, is he okay?

- No.
- [Gabe] Didn't think so.

Just needed confirmation.
- He's not. Yeah.

But he's doing his best.

- [Gabe] That's all we can ask.

- Are you going to go to his play later?

- Yeah.
- Well, I was just thinking

that we could go together,
if you wanted to-

- [Gabe] I would love to go
to his play. What is it about?

- Something about him being
like the center of attention.

- As I Want It?

As He Had It?
- It's As I Like It,

a play on As You Like It, one
of Shakespeare's great works.

- It's something about him
being like, a duke or something.

- Oh.
- Yeah, yeah.

- So then, you two go
off into the greenhouse,

and there is just writhing
sets of vine-like tentacles

all around.

But I'm going to put a pause on that

and go to this delightful carnival.

- [Lily] Real quick question.

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- [Lily] The person

who left me a note about a friend date;

what was the event they were
trying to go to with me?

Was it the carnival?
- [Gabe] Yes.

So, Girish is also here?

- Girish? No. You haven't
seen them in a day.

- Okay.

Remember how Girish sent me a
note about that friend date?

- [Ally] Yeah, yeah.
- [Lily] Haven't seen them

in a while,

so kind of crisis averted.

- No that means they might be dead.

- Oh.
- Yeah, they're one

of the dead people.

- Oh, I thought maybe
they just didn't want to-

- [Ally] No, no, no.

- We don't know they're dead.

- [Ally] You don't know. You're
right. We don't know that.

- [Lily] Nevermind.

- Let's stay alert.
Okay. Let's stay alert.

- Okay, if you see them, let me know.

- [Ally] Definitely.

- [Gabe] So in the distance,
you two can see Cleets,

and Cleets is actually
walking with Drusille.

It's pretty uncharacteristic.

- Okay.

- There you are. Hi.

- [Lily] Hi.
- Looking for you two.

- [Lily] Hello. And Drusille? Hello.

- Yes, hello.

- Drusille, are you here with anyone?

- I got bored, so I said I
would come to meet Cleets.

- [Ally] Oh, cool.
- Oh.

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- [Ally] Very cool.

- Okay. Cool. Didn't
know it was a group hang.

- [Ally] I feel like I never get to know.

We're around each other all the time,

and we don't even know each other.

- It's no big deal
Cleets brought Drusille,

because I brought Megan.

So it's actually cool.

- I mean, I didn't really bring Drusille.

Drusille was bored, so I
said I would walk with her.

- Okay. Yeah.
- Yeah. I get bored a lot too.

- [Gabe] I mean, unless
you didn't want to,

you know, do a date thing together.

- No, this is a date.
Okay. This is a date.

We said date. This is a date.

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Okay.

- [Gabe] Cool.
- Okay. Cool.

Who else is here?

- There are plenty of other monsters.

None that really have names
that are of significance,

because it makes Gabe's life easier.

But it's none of the other
monsters that you actively know

or have associated with.

- Oh really? None of them.

- No, it's just random students.

- [Lily] What about they're monsters

on the winning Frisbee team.

The teammates.

- [Ally] Van Helsing.
- Korra and Asterith

were at the greenhouse.

Van Helsing is in a hole.

- [Lily] Has been sucked up,
and then where's Mothman?

- That's a good question. Where's Mothman?

- What about Yui?
- Yui's not here.

- Hey, where's Yui? I ask Drusille.

- [Gabe] I'm actually
not sure where Yui is.

It's a little strange.

- Weird. Wait, are they together?

- [Lily] Yes, they're together.

- Very cool.
- Yes, Yui's my partner.

- And you haven't like, texted?

Not that you have to
text when you wake up.

You're like-
- But it's like, you know,

communication.
- [Ally] Yeah.

- I just haven't heard
from them this morning,

so maybe they're busy or something.

- Okay.
- Interesting.

What did you get into
last night? Anything fun?

- Strange thing. I saw Teddy.

Very gray. It was very strange.

- Yeah, right?
- I tried to speak to him

and he said, "The hive hungers,"

over and over and over and
over and over and over again.

So I kind of just walked away,
because it was very strange.

Then I went to the bar.

I ordered myself a
Jack-O-Lantern. It was delightful.

And then I had a nice sleep.

- I've never had a
Jack-O-Lantern. What's in that?

- Jack Daniels, Pumpkin
liquor, cinnamon and bitters.

- Oh wow. That sounds incredible.
That sounds really good.

- [Lily] That sounds incredible. Wow.

That would get me twisted. Okay.

- [Ally] Sophisticated palate.
- [Lily] Okay.

- Have you ever had,
and stop me if you have,

but sauerkraut before?

- Cleets and I are just
staring at each other.

- I'm kind of a bit curious myself.

So yeah, I made some sauerkraut.

- Great.

- [Ally] Have you ever
eaten sauerkraut before?

- [Gabe] Yes.

- Did you enjoy it?

- It was okay.

- Would you ever eat it
just straight up plain

out of someone's hand?

- Most likely not.

- [Lily] I thought you didn't like

just eating out of the hand.

- [Gabe] Do you have sauerkraut?

- I mean, if I want the
person to eat out of my hand.

- Oh, okay. Oh, I see. I see.

- I have some sauerkraut right now,

but I can try to find-
- Did you want me

to eat sauerkraut?
- [Ally] I did, yeah,

but that's kind of a weird place to start.

So, want to go, like, try
to ride a ride or something?

- Make a social check.
- [Ally] Okay.

- Well, I was surprised
you didn't ask them

to see their belly.

- That's just for trolls.

Two, four, seven, eight.

- [Gabe] Okay. I like your
words, strange ghost person.

- [Ally] Thank you.
- You confuse me.

You make no sense.

But where are you keeping the sauerkraut?

- It's in my tote with a
couple of other things.

- Swooping in while
their partner is missing.

- I'm trying to swoop on
them and their partner.

- [Lily] Okay. Okay.

- Tell me more about
this tote kraut you have.

- Okay, yeah. Let's walk and talk.

- [Gabe] So, you start walking off,

and Cleets looks over to you.

- [Lily] Wow, that was-

- I didn't know if I was
supposed to breathe, or anything.

- [Lily] No, I kind of
brought Megan as backup.

I didn't know they were
going to have a connection,

but everybody deserves attention.

- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah.

Are they going to be good?

- Totally, totally.

You were going to win like
a special thing, right?

- [Gabe] I did. So we actually
got an hour long massage.

- That was the special prize?
- [Gabe] Yeah.

Yeah, but there's these magical pits that,

when you soak yourself in them, it like,

rejuvenates your body.

- Who told you this?

- I read it in a book.

- Can I do like-
- [Gabe] Yeah, go for it.

- A mental check, to see if this is real?

Nine, nine, five.

- You have heard of
like, magical hot springs

that could have
rejuvenating like, capacity.

- Okay. Incredible. The prize,
you read about it? Great.

I love it. Okay, I'm sorry.

- Well, the vice dean told me about it.

- Oh, the vice dean. Did
he seem weird at all?

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- [Lily] His head

was different?
- [Gabe] Well, no.

It was his plant head.

I think I think it's fine.
- [Lily] Okay.

Okay, let's go.
- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah.

- Yeah, let's totally go.

- [Gabe] Okay.

So, you follow Cleets and
they lead you to a spot

in the parking lot.

They put the ticket up to
what looks to be a person

in a very like, clown-like regalia,

with just one of those
performance masks that,

as they put their hand
in front of their face,

it changes from like smiling to frowning,

smiling to frowning.

And then when Cleets gives the ticket,

it goes back to a smile.

They reach out, grabbing almost nothing.

But then as they close their hand,

a door knob appears,
and they pull it open,

and take Cleets' ticket.

And inside, you see what looks to be like,

almost a hot spring,

and you see Mothman just
chilling and vibing inside.

- [Lily] Okay, Mothman's here. Cool.

Three is a party.

Hey, Mothie.

- Buzz.

- Incredible. Okay.

- But Mothman actually like,

I think I'm good,

and like walks out through the doorway.

- Okay. You don't want to stay? Okay.

- Been in there for an hour.

- Oh, okay. Cool, cool,
cool. Okay, nothing bad.

Okay, awesome. Is there
changing rooms kind of?

Or we just get in?

- Yeah. Oh. Is that okay?

- Yeah, totally. I keep
all my bandages on.

I just get in. I get in fully clothed.

- What happened to new Tuti?

- I get so nervous to actually
face this in this room.

I was like, "New Tuti?
No, old Tuti, old Tuti."

Old Tuti. I get in fully clothed.

- So you walk in, you
get in fully clothed.

Cleets follows your move,
gets in full flannel,

denim jeans, everything.

- Isn't that going to
be a b*tch to dry out?

- You know? No.
- [Lily] Okay.

Oh, I brought you something.

Oh, oh. It's soaking wet.

- What is it?

- I know you're really good
at studying soil and plants.

Is there anything weird about that?

- What did you give him?

- From the troll's room.
- The soil from Kevin's room.

- From Kevin's room.
- Oh my God.

- The soil from Kevin's
room. But it's soaking wet.

- Where did you find this?

- Kevin. Remember Kevin?

- Yeah, the gnome.
- The gnome.

Do not date him gnome.

- I didn't plan-
- No, he's on

Donotdatehim.com.

- [Gabe] What's that?

- He planted this and we
think it might be kind of sus.

- Smells corrupted a little bit.

- Corrupted. Like, what does that mean?

- This soil, it shouldn't...

It smells, like, tainted.
Something's wrong with it.

- [Lily] Oh, okay. Okay. Incredible.

- It's not good soil.
- [Lily] Okay. Incredible.

Incredible. I love this.
I'm relaxing a little.

I unwrap a little
bandage. Okay, nice. Nice.

How do I fix that soil? Corrupted soil.

How do I fix it?

- You'd honestly, probably just have to

pump pesticide through it
and k*ll the ground itself,

and then let the soil
heal itself over time.

It feels like a blight was in this soil.

- Okay, enough about the soil.
I throw the soil outside.

- It like, scatters into
like the rest of it and just-

- Okay. Wow.

So, have you been dating,
your past few years here?

I don't feel like we've
gotten to know each other.

- I've gone on a couple
of dates, but nothing big.

I don't know. I'm kind of
trying to reinvent myself.

New year, new me.
- Okay.

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- New Tuti. New Cleetus.

- New Cleetus. Yeah.
- I did think

your name was Cleets for a long time.

- Cleets is a nickname.
- Okay, okay.

- [Gabe] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- [Lily] Okay.
- Wow.

- Surprised you didn't pick up on that.

- I'm so nervous now that I'm in there.

I'm like, can we play
some music, or something?

Hello?
- Hello.

Hello?
- Oh my God.

- You hear a voice that you don't like,

and out of the middle of
the pool pops a little vine.

- Is this from where I
threw the soil earlier?

- [Gabe] Yes it is.

- Oh. Hello.

- Hello.

- [Lily] Hi.
- Hi.

- What have you been up to?

- Coming to life. I don't know.

- What's your name?

- Andromeda.

- Andromeda. Okay.

That's different than what
I've been hearing. Okay.

From some other plants. Cleetus?

I look to him like, take
care of this. Please help me.

- What am I supposed to do with this?

- Be a man.
- [Gabe] I don't know

what that means.

What does that mean?
- [Dani] Wow.

- [Lily] I don't know.

I just fell into a kind of
binary, need to be saved moment.

I don't want to have to k*ll again.

- Cleetus like, goes over towards it,

like, moving through the water.

And like just forces it
underneath the water.

[Gabe mimics bubbling]

- Okay.

[Lily gasps]

Just drowned it?

- I panicked. What was I supposed-

- I love that. I love that. I love that.

- [Dani] Wow.
- Really?

- [Lily] I love that. Okay.

- [Gabe] Hm.
- [Lily] Hm.

- We're going to fade
to black in that moment.

I don't know what the hell
happened in that hot tub,

but as long as there are
two consenting adults,

that is what is important.

- Okay.

[Gabe laughing]

- So, you spend that
nice hour in the hot tub,

but something nice does happen

while you were inside of there.

- I thought you were going to say

while you were inside of him.

- [Ally] Yeah.

[all laughing]

- [Ally] What's up?

Yeah, Ify's visibly horny.

- Well, everyone knows
I take my glasses off

when I'm really horny.

- Because you did manage to get someone

to take you on the prize,

and spend that hour in that hot tub.

So, at some point during the session,

you can re-roll one of your die.

- [Ally] Cool.
- Just one? Not all four?

- [Gabe] Correct.
- Okay. Okay.

- [Ally] Just roll the one.
- Okay.

- Yeah, so just in case
you might roll a failure,

turn into success.

You might've had a critical failure.

- Oh my God, getting down
does get you rewards.

They said sex doesn't get
you anything. It does.

It gets you prizes.

- [Gabe] So the two of you
end up in this greenhouse

with all of these tentacles,

and they look like vines,

similar to the ones that
you saw with the tree.

- I immediately start
looking for like, a source,

or like, a main piece of-

- Mental. What are you doing?

- I'm going to see if any of them talk.

- So, are you looking for like, a mouth?

- I mean, who's not?

- Make a mental.

- Seven, seven, six.
- [Gabe] Seven, seven, six.

Got it.

- [Dani] Wait. Two, one, four.

- So, you're looking for the
mouth of one of these things,

and you're reaching
around, reaching through,

and they're not slimy.

They're actually the kind
of rigid to the touch.

And as you're moving around,

one of them actually like,
wraps and coils around your arm.

- Ew. Gross.

- And it's like, it's holding fast.

- Oh my God. Ow.

- And so you're looking for a source.

As this one grabs her arm,

you actually follow where the vines go,

and it goes down, down,
and it goes along the wall.

You see it actually go out
the back of the greenhouse.

- Wait right here.

And I run out-
- [Dani] Wow.

- To the back of the greenhouse.

- Oh my God, now we're all
separate. Oh no, no, no.

- Okay, so as you go to
the back of the greenhouse,

you see that the vine seems
to trail this direction.

- [Ify] So, beyond? Okay.

I'm going to run back in,

and I'm just going to
bite the vine to free-

- Great. Make a physical check.

[Ify growls]

- Yeah, yeah.
- Two 10s.

Six and a four.

- Okay, so you bite through
this like it is nothing,

tearing through it.

You feel yourself freed, no issue.

You can just wipe it off,
this nasty, disgusting vine.

- Gross. How did it taste though?

[Ify smacks lips]

- Tasted like roasted asparagus

that was sitting out overnight.

- Not great. Like, it has
potential to be great.

But it's not, but getting
all feral like that?

- [Dani] Oh.
- Put me in the mood.

So I go back outside and I
try and come back to Asterith.

- Asterith and Korra are actually gone.

- Damn.

All right, let's follow this vine.

- Yeah. I feel we have important things.

- Okay. Oh really? Really?
- [Dani] Yeah.

- Cheerleader crew? Cheerleader crew?

- Yeah. What was I supposed to do?

You're playing Frisbee.
You're playing Frisbee, sir.

- Okay, yeah, yeah. You were-

- You hear a ding on your phone.

- Ooh, okay.

- [Gabe] And it's from Asterith.

- Oh, I'll check it.

- Do you like grapefruit?

- I do. It's very delicious.

- Noted. Period.

- Oh.
- [Dani] Oh, interesting.

- Oh.
- You're going to f*ck

a grapefruit.
- I think she's going to

do the grapefruit.
- [Lily] Oh.

- Where you cut the
grapefruit, you put it-

- [Lily] I'm aware.

Yeah.
- Yeah, that.

- Only if you have a mic.

- What do they do? What do they do?

Oh, like eating a sausage?

- Yeah, yeah.

- Like-
- Yeah.

- All right, let's follow this vine.

- Okay, let's do that.

- Okay, so you start following the vine,

and you see it lead
underneath the dean's office.

- Then I'm going to to try and go inside

and see if I can find the
basement of the dean's office.

- [Gabe] Okay.

- Of the building. You know? You know?

- You can't find a basement entrance,

but maybe someone might know
a little bit more about it.

There are plenty of other students here.

And Megan, as you're
walking with Drusille,

Drusille comes; I didn't
know you very well before,

but I have been pleasantly
surprised by your company.

- Yeah, people always tell
me I'm hotter in real life.

That is true.

So, Drusille, earlier, I was like,

do you want to try this
kraut out of my hand?

That's kind of crazy. But
do you want to try it?

It's actually, I think,
perfectly seasoned.

And I pull out like, a little fork.

- Yes. Sure.

- Okay, open it up. Oh.

- It could use some garlic, in my opinion.

- [Lily] Oh, garlic?

- Garlic, wow.

- [Gabe] But why do you carry this?

- Oh, I'm working on like a
bunch of projects at once,

and you know, when you put
a lot of effort into food,

when you start treating it like something

you can interact with, you know,

you just really appreciate it a lot.

- I actually genuinely love to cook.

- Oh my God. Me too.

I was actually going to
make a curry pretty soon,

for you and Yui.

If you guys are interested.

- Did you know?

- Yui loves curry.
- [Gabe] Yes.

- Yeah, I'm toying with a
couple of recipes right now.

So yeah, are you interested?
I'd love to cook for you.

- We'll find Yui, but
that would be amazing.

- [Ally] About that. We
should find Yui, right?

- I mean, I'm sure she'll be
at the art walk. She loves art.

- I have to level with you.

- [Gabe] Okay.

- There's something
crazy going on right now.

We don't know if the people
who are missing are dead,

but we think that they actually might be,

and Yui might be one of those people.

And then I just explain kind of like,

there's a network and there's
vines and there's pods,

and like, it has to be stopped.

So I try to like, explain that to her

and get her read on it.

- [Gabe] That's a lot to process. Okay.

- [Ally] Yeah.
- Okay.

- So maybe we should run to Yui's room.

- Yui and I share a room.
- Okay, cool.

Maybe we should run to your room.

- For what?

- No, I mean, to look for Yui.

I know it just sounded crazy to be like,

"Maybe we should run to your room."

- [Gabe] Yeah, I was-
- No, no,

but let's go try to find Yui like,

at you guys' room or something.

- Okay. Okay. We can go there.

So you start making
your way to Yui's room.

- Wait. Do we pass the
cafeteria on the way there?

- You can.
- Okay. Can we go there first?

Because I just want to
check in the basement,

and maybe even like show her all the pods

and stuff like that.
- [Gabe] Cool.

That's going to be interesting.

As you're heading there-
- [Lily] Yeah.

- You and Cleets do come
out of this pocket dimension

with this nice little hot spring in it.

- I wipe my mouth.
- [Gabe] Yeah.

And actually-
- Oh. Rated X.

- Wow.

- Wow, that hit me late.

- It's because I was so thirsty.

- And so, you walk out,

and when you walk through
the threshold barrier,

you actually dry immediately.

- Okay. I still do the wipe symbolically.

I do it really big so everyone sees.

- You're like, "Whoa, that was so messy."

Completely dry mouth.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- Oh my God.

- Okay. So, do you have weed k*ller?

You said weed k*ller. What pesticide?

Do you know where we could get pesticide?

Now, I'm all business, now
that we're done, we're out.

I'm like, you just mentioned
pesticide for soil.

Since you have plant expertise,

do you know where we can get pesticide?

Like a lot of it.
- [Gabe] I might.

I can go look,

and can I come find you
during the art walk?

- Absolutely. You cannot
miss my photography.

- [Gabe] Perfect. Perfect.

You actually see Megan making their way

towards the dining room, and
you two, as you are coming out,

you see people getting
set up for the art walk

in the center,

and then they are actually
going to take everything

over to the lecture halls.

People are basically bringing
their pieces across the quad

and moving it over to
the third lecture hall.

- [Lily] Do I see Megan running?

- 100%.

- I go, hey, where are you-

- Come with me.
- [Lily] What, really?

- Yeah, I wave you over.
- [Lily] I have to set up.

Okay. Okay. I go, I go.
- [Ally] Oh wait.

Oh yeah. The art walk. Okay.

- [Lily] What's up? What's up?

- This will be quick.

I was just telling Drusille
all about what's going on.

- It's f*cked.

- Yeah, I just wanted to
go down and show like,

all of the stuff that we
found in the basement.

- Oh, that's interesting. Oh
yeah, I should've told Cleets.

I didn't really tell him any of that.

I just showed him the plant. It's f*cked.

- [Ally] Oh, really?
- It is f*cked.

- [Ally] Wait, the gnome?

So it is the gnome?
- [Lily] Yes, it is.

- f*ck. Okay, cool.

- It's f*cking Kevin.
- [Ally] Good to know.

Wait, great clue. You did a great job.

- Thank you.
- [Ally] Yeah.

- Thank you. All right. I have time.

Do I have time to go
down for a little bit?

- Down to the basement?
- [Lily] Yeah.

- Yeah, sure.
- Okay. I have time.

I have time. My photos are quick. Okay.

- Yeah. Okay, cool.

- So you all make your way in.
You go down to the basement.

The door is open and unlocked.

- [Ally] Oh.
- There is nothing down there.

- m*therf*cker.
- [Gabe] It is empty.

- Are there empty tubes?
- [Gabe] No.

- Does it smell like bleach?

- Well, none of you are werewolf.

- Are there still fruit?
- [Ally] I can smell bleach

though.
- Are there still

kitchen fruit and things out?

- Upstairs. Yes. Not down below.

- [Lily] Was there like a weird,
discombobulated pineapple?

Didn't you leave things here for-

- Yeah, a pineapple.

- You kind of stuffed
its flesh into a jar.

- Right. Yeah. And then-

- And then you tossed it.

- And then it broke on the floor.

Okay, well, whoa,
everything's totally gone.

- It really did happen, though.

- Yeah, I know.

This is probably kind of setting it up

to look like this is
crazy, but don't worry.

We'll run into clues soon.

- It really did happen.

- Uh-huh.

- You don't have to come
with us if you don't want to,

but we are going to move
on, and try to find-

- Okay, bye.
- [Lily] I have to set up

my art.
- She leaves.

- [Ally] Okay. Cool. Bye.

Okay-
- [Lily] I have to set up.

- I'll help you set up.
I'll help you set up.

- [Lily] Thank you, thank you, thank you.

- Okay, cool.
- So, you two,

are you going to the art walk stuff?

- [Lily] Yeah.
- [Gabe] Are you still

investigating?

Right, okay.

- [Ify] I'll say, you go to the art walk.

I need to go to the computer lab.

- But one of my pieces is actually-

- I'll be there to see it.

But I need to hit the computer lab first.

- Oh, okay.

- I'm in the computer
lab and I'm straight up

Facebook social media stalking Kevin-

- [Ally] Nice.
- To see where he's been,

what he's been up to.

- Make a mental.
- [Ify] Okay.

Six, six, four.

- [Ally] Okay, okay. It was a great idea.

- [Lily] He's not a CS major.

- He never followed me back.

- Yeah, so Kevin's on private.

And like, he rejected your follow request.

- Can I text everyone that the
plant in his room was f*cked?

- [Gabe] Absolutely.
- [Ally] Yeah. Yeah.

- I text everyone that the plant
in Kevin's room was f*cked.

- Cool. So we know that we're in trouble.

I don't know how we're going to stop this-

- One last move before
I go to the art walk.

I want to research the blueprint of the-

- Nice. Dean's office?
- The lecture halls,

with the dean's office.
- Another mental check.

- Don't do it to me.

Eight, five, four.

- You find like, that there is a basement

in the dean's building.

You can't really find
the way to get to it,

but there is one that exists.

- [Ally] Okay.

- All right, I go to the art walk.

- [Gabe] All right.

- Can I do something kind of weird first,

before the art walk?

Do I have a second?
- [Gabe] Yeah, what's up?

- I will be at the art
walk. I'll be there.

- [Lily] Okay.

- I just want to follow
Drusille from a distance.

- [Gabe] Okay.
- God.

- Make a physical check.
- All right, all right.

Okay. Nine, three, four.

- So you're following
Drusille from a distance.

Drusille gets to the middle of the quad,

about 30 feet from where
the tree went to the ground.

And is like, looking around a little bit.

She like, bites her hand.

[eerie music]

Hm.

Hm,

And then turns around
and starts making her way

back towards the dormitory.

- She bites her hand?
- [Gabe] Mhmm.

- The f*ck? Okay.

She's going to the dorms?

- Yes.
- [Ally] Okay.

I keep following her.
I keep following her.

- Oh my God, you're going to miss my art.

- [Gabe] Want to try it again?

- [Ally] Yeah.
- Make another physical check.

But with one less die this time.

- f*ck.

It's a one and a five.

I played with fire. I knew
what I was getting into.

- So, Drusille turns a
corner. You turn the corner.

She is gone.
- She's gone?

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Oh, jeez,

that's scarier, honestly.

[all laughing]

I go to the art walk. We tried, we tried.

I'm going to the art walk.
- [Gabe] You all made your way

to the art walk and there's
dozens of things to see here.

You see portraits, you see stonework.

You actually see an ice sculpture

that seems to have been made by Yui.

But Yui is nowhere to be found.

- Got here somehow.
- [Gabe] And Tuti,

please tell us about the tasteful nudes,

or whatever artwork you
have up for display.

- Okay, well, I was going to take

some tasteful nudes of Asterith.

We have not set up the studio
appointment for that yet.

So I have some of my last year's photos,

which are more nature,
kind of street photography,

things I found.

But then, I also set up
some time for myself.

I forget if it's Man Ray or Duchamp.

You know the person with
the cello on their back?

I have like one of that,
and it's like of my back,

but it's just like my decaying body,

and it's all unbandaged,
and the bandages are like,

laid out to my side, and
I'm just kind of like this.

- [Gabe] Yeah.

- [Lily] From like, different angles.

Tastefully, suggestively, almost nude.

- Mm. Cool.
- [Gabe] Beautiful.

- You can see like, a
little bit of the crack.

The top of the crack.

- Make a social check for me.

- Oh no.

A nine and a six.

- [Gabe] Nine and a six.

So your presentation is
actually pretty damn good.

I know there's a little bit of caution

when it comes to presenting your work.

But this is new Tuti.

New Tuti is confident, bold,

and she knows what the hell she's doing.

As you present these photos,
dozens of monsters come by.

And even one of them is like,

"Actually, I see the depth
of what she is doing."

- Yeah.
- [Gabe] There is so much

power and presentation to this image.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- It's like

there's an unspoken, what's the word?

Debauchery to it.
- It's in conversation

with previous pieces.

It's not a replica. It's
not meant to be derivative.

- [Gabe] That makes sense.

Do you have a name for this piece?

- New Tuti Two.

- New Tuti Two?

- I walk up and I put sold stickers

on every one of the photos,

except for the one that
you two are talking about.

Well, last one left.

- [Gabe] How much?

- Thousands. Thousands.

- 5.000.

- Make another social check.

- Can I help her?

- You know what? I will
give you an extra dice.

- Six, six, two. I'm going to re-roll.

- [Gabe] Do it. I hope-

- No, you should save-

- Do it. Go ahead. I hope
you get another six though.

- Oh my God, Tuti.

- I'm about to make us so much money.

- [Ally] Oh my God.

- A nine.
- [Ally] Yes.

Oh my God.
- 5.000.

- [Lily] 5.000.

- [Ally] Who's saying this, by the way?

- [Gabe] It looks like
a hooded, strange figure

with a complete shadowy face.

- [Ally] Hmm.
- [Lily] Stranger's about

to own my nude.

Hey, if they pay up. Okay. 5.000, okay?

- I'll give you 6.000.

- I will contact you tomorrow.

Put this sticker on it, please.

- Okay, they're buying it. Venmo me now.

For me to save it for you.

- What is Venmo?
- Write a check now,

and I'll cash it tomorrow.
- Oh, okay. Okay. Okay.

Easy, easy, easy.

And then, a shadowy, wispy hand.

- I take the check. I see
who the check is from.

- It says, "Nightmare Demon."

- Okay. Hey, checks out.

- [Ally] Cool.
- Checks out.

- All right, but the
rest of the presentation

goes fairly well.

Tuti, people are incredibly
receptive to your work.

- New Tuti.

- I always make sure that there's one

that doesn't have a sold sticker.

So I'm just kind of-
- We start selling them.

- [Ally] Swapping them around.

- Yeah, and I go, Megan,
this was more of like,

a kind of display of talent.

It wasn't even an art auction thing.

It was literally to show off,

but I have made thousands of dollars.

- I'm so happy for you.
I'm so happy for you.

- [Lily] Thank you.

- So in this moment,

all of you have a little
bit of time to discuss

what has happened, and-
- Wait, I have artwork too.

- Oh yes. Please.

- Well, I have portrait
that I did of Terry,

and it talks.

My portraits, they come out
and they can like, look around.

- And they say, "Vampires rule."

- [Dani] Yes. It's a direct quote.

- Wow.
- It's a direct quote.

- [Ify] That's what I'm saying.

- That's amazing.
- [Lily] As a fine artist,

I go, wow.

I go, uh-huh.

- Vampires rule.

- Okay.
- Yeah.

- Kind of Jeff Koontz-ian.
- [Ify] Wow.

- [Dani] And then I have-
- Can't stop with Jeff Koontz-

- I also did one of Tuti.

- [Ally] Oh.
- [Lily] Whoa.

[indistinct]

- [Lily] Interesting.
- Wow.

- [Lily] Okay.
- 2D.

- [Lily] This is also-
- [Ally] That's incredible.

- This is also a lot like
the Jeff Koontz piece,

A piece in MOMA.
- [Ally] What special

did you watch on Jeff Koontz?

- [Lily] I hate him. I hate him. Nothing.

- But yeah, I just feel
like it really speaks.

Oh, here's one of Megan.

- [Ally] Oh, I look
incredible. I look incredible.

- [Ify] Wow.
- Oh.

- These are-
- Wow, I can actually kind of-

- Can she do a social check to see

how good these actually are?
- Oh, 100%.

Social check, please.
- [Dani] These are my friends.

This is my installation-
- Okay.

- Called-
- I do appreciate it.

- Me and my friends.

- I do appreciate that.
- Okay, social.

- [Ally] I love that for you.

Oh.

[all laughing]

- Wow, interesting reaction.

- Five, a six, and two ones.
- Oh.

- As you're showing it off,

there's like a psst from your fingertips,

and a bit of your magic
surges into the pages,

and the Terry leaps from the pages.

- Oh no. I totally meant to do that.

- [Gabe] Vampires rule,
vampires rule, vampires rule,

vampires rule.
- [Ify] No, no.

- [Gabe] Vampires rule.
- Can we touch it?

Is it like a full-
- [Gabe] It's like,

flying around, like,
vampires rule, vampires rule,

vampires rule, I'm Terry.
- [Ally] Oh, okay.

- [Gabe] Vampires rule.
- Oh no, this interactive.

- [Ify] I pounce on this.

[all laughing]

- [Gabe] Make it physical.

And as you're doing that,
the Tuti also comes life,

new Tuti, new me, new Tuti, new me.

- [Dani] Wow.

- I choke it out. I choke it out.

I choke it out.
- [Dani] Oh my God.

- I choke it.
- My art. My art.

- [Gabe] Make a physical check.

- Six, five, and two 10s.
- Yeah.

- So you like, hop on this
thing and tear it to shreds.

- [Lily] Five, five, five,
seven. Five, five, five, seven.

- [Gabe] Okay, you grab the Tuti and-

- Yes, I just a success in my art show.

I'm not trying to have my reputation...

- You all immediately
just destroyed her art

about your friendships.

- Okay, mine was running around going...

Do it again. What was my art
doing? What was it doing?

- Yeah, one more time.
- [Lily] One more time.

- [Ally] Come on.
- [Lily] Yeah.

- [Ally] Five, six, seven, eight.

- New Tuti, new me. New Tuti, new me.

- Okay, so you tell me
if that's a compliment.

- Hey, I'm not here to judge
what you think is a compliment.

It's up to you.
- Okay, I've choked it out.

- You said that so many times.

- Wow. That's just how I view you guys.

- [Ally] Yeah, that's
not making it better.

- No, no, no. It's the
effort that matters.

I really appreciate your
friendship and the effort.

It's not the product.
- [Ify] Yeah, I liked it

when it was static.

And then it started-

- I feel like it had more
hair than you actually have.

So I gave you-
- Ooh.

- Ouch.

- Awoouch.

- Oh man, just because you
don't like wearing your beard

doesn't mean anything.
- Okay, see,

every time you do the clarification

I feel like it makes it worse.

- No, I mean, just because
- I feel like it makes it-

- You decide to shave every single day,

your massive amount of hair.

- I feel like every time
you choose to clarify,

it just makes it more-
- I take out a pipe

that I've recently gotten.

- Well, this was a successful art walk.

- [Ify] Yeah, yeah.
- Yeah, I made us thousands

of dollars.

I know that's nothing
in comparison to you.

But in case we need to
get supplies or anything,

Cleetus is looking into
getting some pesticide for us.

- Really?
- And you get a text

from Cleetus that says they'll actually

have it ready for you tomorrow morning.

[Ally gasps]

- Oh, okay.

- Is that when our parents are here?

- Our parents are coming? Wow, okay.

- My parents are coming.

I think there's a parent
event tomorrow morning.

- I love my parents.

- Right.

- They're so great. They work so hard.

- Okay, these photos can not
be up when my parents are here.

- Oh, that's interesting.
- Okay, we're going back

to old Tuti.

I wrap my stuff tight.
- [Ally] So tight.

Tuti, that's too tight.
Come on. Loosen it a little.

Tuti, come on.
- [Lily] Old Tuti, old Tuti

for tomorrow morning.

- [Ally] Oh no.
- Okay, okay, okay.

So, we'll have the
pesticides tomorrow morning.

What did you guys find out?

- Well, I've found
that, in the greenhouse,

there's a vine that goes
all the way to the basement

of the dean's office.

But I don't know how to get
there. The vice dean's office.

- We tell them that all of this stuff

has gone from the
basement of the cafeteria.

Completely vanished.
- Whoa.

- And also that Drusille,

maybe what we were saying
didn't make a lot of sense,

and we kind of had no proof,
but yeah, Drusille left like,

kind of immediately, so I was just like-

- Did she do anything weird?

- Not really.
- Did you guys hit it off?

- We did hit it off.
- Oh, okay.

- Me and Cleetus-

- Oh, hell yeah.
- [Dani] What was that?

- Me and Cleetus.
- [Ally] Smoshed.

- You guys hit.
- [Ally] you guys really

hit it off.
- We hit it off.

- [Ally] Wait, what is Drusille?

- [Gabe] Vampire.
- [Dani] Vampire.

- Okay, I have a question
for you as a vampire.

- Yeah, that you're talking to my ex?

- That's your ex?

- Wow.

- That's so interesting.
- [Dani] It is interesting.

- [Ally] Can we just be adults, though?

We're singles in college.

- [Dani] Be adults and that.

- [Ally] And you know, that is on me.

- [Dani] We are adults.
- [Ally] For not approaching

this with more tact.
- And I made you

a whole painting of you.

Literally your reflection.
- [Ally] I do-

- Literally your reflection,
but sure, no, that's fine.

Just dedicated-

- Two things can be true at once.

This is crazy that I'm dating your ex.

- You're dating?
- [Ally] Wait, no.

I'm not crazy, no.

I would like to date your
ex. That's what I should say.

- Wow.
- [Ally] Okay, but

the other thing is, as a vampire-

- You know that she cheated on me?

- Yeah, but well, not
that there's no cheating

when you're poly,

but it's just a less of a focus
on like, owning, you know?

- Okay, she'll probably try to eat you.

- [Ally] Listen up, let's move
on to the second question.

- [Dani] No, I mean-
- Do you ever just

bite your hand, as a vampire?
- [Dani] Yeah.

- It's like a vampire thing?
- [Dani] It's like a thing.

Yes, but I'm saying, I
don't know how to put this.

When vampires have sex,
they are very strong,

and you don't look strong.

I'm sorry.
- What are you talking about?

I do pull ups every day
while I'm eating an egg bite.

- [Dani] I'm sorry, I think that she-

- I'm working on my upper body strength.

- [Dani] I don't know if
you can handle her. Okay?

- Wait, can we go to the hand biting?

What is that?
- She bit her hand,

and she stared down the giant
hole in the middle of the quad

and then walked away.
- [Dani] Yeah,

she was probably trying to call something.

- Excuse me?
- [Dani] She was trying

to like, call something.

- So that's bad, right?

- I mean, knowing her, yeah.

- Because she's your ex, or
because you think she could be-

- Because of both of those things.

- I can tell that this is weird for you,

and so I think that maybe
we should like, work on it.

You can give me a list of things

that you would like me to
keep in mind, as your friend-

- [Dani] Sure.
- And I'll give you-

- You should have started
with the hand biting.

- I should have, because
I just fully forgot.

I thought maybe you dated Yui.

- You kicked it off.
- [Dani] Yeah.

- Did you date her also?

- No, no, no, no.
- Okay. That's someone else.

- We never dated the same person.
Someone played both of us.

- Oh, right, right,
right. Okay. Cool. Well-

- Okay, but just a reminder again, I did.

- That's cool. That's very cool.

- What was it like, you know?

- Oh my God, not like Cubie at all.

- Okay.
- [Ally] In a good way

or like, in an I miss Cubie way?

- Okay. No, not in an I've only
been with Cubie before way.

- Oh, cool.
- [Lily] Okay.

And it was different.

- That's really fun. That's really fun.

When you step out a
little bit, and it's like,

this was great.

This is what I want.
- [Lily] Okay.

He k*lled for me. Okay.
Anyways, moving on.

- Oh, okay, so you really
found your soulmate?

- [Lily] Okay.
- There was another m*rder?

There was another m*rder?

- The plant.
- [Ally] Right, okay.

Cool, cool.

Okay, "The hive hungers,"
is what we heard,

but the hive isn't there anymore.

- All the Teddies like, hatched?

- [Ally] Yeah.
- Have we seen

any other other gnomes, or
just Kevin that's missing?

- You haven't seen any gnomes.

- Wait. Oh, that was a troll.

- [Dani] You know what?
Who is in a trench coat?

- Wait, what? Three gnomes
stacked up in a trench coat?

- Yes.
- I mean,

that's the first place I would
look for a gnome, for sure.

- I look to see if there's
anyone in a trench coat.

- Yeah, can we all do checks
for anyone in a trench coat?

- [Gabe] All make a mental check.

See if there's anybody in a
trench coat. Your awareness.

- Yes, I got a 10, a six and a two.

- [Gabe] Cool.
- 10, five, eight.

- Nine, five, four.

- Five, one, nine.
- Great.

- [Gabe] Okay. You see a
rat man in a trench coat.

- I immediately run over-

- Show us your stomach.

- I pull it open.

Kevin.
- We're ripping open

someone's trench coat.

- Kevin, I know you're in there.

- [Ally] Okay, all right.

- Rip open the trench coat,
and they're just wearing, like,

spandex and leather underneath.

- [Ally] Oh.
- Oh, so I'm so sorry.

I thought you were someone else.

- We're so sorry.

We thought you were three gnomes stocked

on top of each other.

- I mean, maybe don't wear a trench coat

and it's fricking 92 degrees out.

- [Ally] Yeah, let's
blame the victim here.

We rip your clothes off
and then we're like, hey,

those clothes are inappropriate.

- Maybe don't wear too many clothes.

- Yeah, yeah, wow.

Okay, f*ck. I feel like
we're so close to something.

At the bottom of the Dean's office, right?

Maybe that's the new hive.

- [Ify] Where is that?

- Huh.

- You get a text from your dad.

- Oh God.

- I can't wait to see you, daughter.

- Okay. I guess our
parents are coming here.

- [Ally] Okay.

- Why don't we just go to Drusille's room?

- Yeah, I think that's probably-

- [Lily] We know where that is, right?

- That's definitely the move.

- Okay. You know, that's
fine. I can handle this.

I'm a grown adult.
- Do you have her number?

- I like, look, and I
have it under just X.

- [Ally] Yeah.
- Whoa.

- Okay. I mean, maybe we could text her?

Or we could just straight
up show up at her room?

- We should just show up. We should just-

- [Ally] Okay.

- I got this idea. We show up at her room.

We send a text, see if she's a dirty liar.

- Well, I can already tell you that.

- That's good.
- [Ally] Okay.

- That's really smart. I love that.

- All right. Let's go.
Wait. Okay, yeah. Sorry.

I'm just in clue mode.

- So, you all make your way to her room.

She's like, six doors down, and you knock-

- [Lily] Wait, first we send a text-

- [Ally] No, no, we send a text.

- Oh, you send a text. What is it?

What are you sending the
text? Who is texting?

- You.
- You want me to text her?

- [Ally] I can send it from my phone,

but then she never gave me her number.

- [Dani] All right, all right, all right.

What should I say?

- Hey.
- Hey.

We all agree. Hey.

- Hey, need to talk. Are
you in your room right now?

- [Ally] Yeah. Thank you.

- Hey, need to talk.

Are you in your room?
- I mean like,

we could all date.

- Looking for Yui.

- She's out looking for
Yui. She's not in her room.

- She texted, "Looking for Yui."

- I want to knock on her-
- Yeah.

Wait, can I go through the door?

- [Gabe] No.
- The doors

have protection.
- Right, all the doors. Okay.

- You knock on the door. Nothing.

- I'm going to do a sniff.

- [Dani] Oh my God.
- You sniff under the door?

- [Ify] Yeah.
- Make a physical check.

- [Dani] Wow.

- Seven, eight, two, six.

- You smell garlic.

Like, it's really the only smell you get.

- Why does she like garlic so much?

- I don't-

- [Ally] Do you like garlic?
- No.

- Fake vampire.
- I mean-

- [Ify] Vampire.

I'm just going to follow the garlic.

- [Ally] What if it's in other rooms, too?

- It goes under the door.

- Yeah, but I follow
the outside of the door,

because she's a garlic head, so.

- It goes to actually,
outside of Seven's room.

Goes outside of your room, and
then it just goes downstairs.

- Looks like she checked
our rooms from the outside.

- I told you that you
shouldn't mess with her.

- I mean, for sure. I'm seeing that now.

Want to check your room and see

if anything weird's in there?

Are there any new plants?

- Let's go.
- [Dani] All right.

So we go in my room.

- Nice mirror.

- Oh yeah. That thing. My parents-

- I flex in the mirror.

[Lily laughs]

- [Gabe] Hi.

- Hey, wait, has anyone come through here?

- Nice.
- Yes.

- Who? Why would you let someone
in my room and not tell me?

- How would I have told you?

- You could have pinged me.

- With what hands?

- [Ify] It's a mirror
with a face attached.

- [Dani] Yeah, no, no. You have no idea.

This is totally set up by my parents.

- [Ify] I get it, but I can't do anything.

- [Lily] Okay, we're
getting sidetracked. Who-

- We are getting big
information who's in here.

- [Dani] Okay. Yeah,
like, who else was here?

- There was a living shadow.

- A shadow?

- A living shadow.

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Did they smell like garlic?

Can you smell?

- I can't.
- A living shadow

would be a vampire; no reflection.

- Yeah. Interesting. What'd they do?

- [Ally] Yeah.
- Nothing. They came in here.

Looked around for maybe

And then I spoke to them.
I didn't get a response.

- Did they leave quickly
after you spoke to them?

- No. They didn't seem to care.

- Well. Let's get to the bottom
of the vice dean's office.

- You get a text from your parents.

We can't wait to see you, Terry boy.

- Oh.
- Oh, Terry boy?

- Terry, I need you really quickly,

and I like grab my vanity
and I touch it to his eye.

- Ouch.

- The entire thing goes gold.

- Oh my gosh, matching set.

- Oh my God, unbelievable.
- Stop putting things

in my eye, stop putting things in my eye.

- [Dani] This is incredible.
- It's still an eye.

- I love it. My new set.
- It's still an eye.

- Please stop.
- Okay, well-

- You're not going to text Drusille,

"b*tch, why were you in my room?"

- I mean, she's kind of dangerous.

- Yeah. I mean, it's best
to keep her in the dark.

- She's almost k*lled me multiple times.

- What?
- Yeah.

- Are you being dramatic?
- No, no.

She almost me multiple times.

Like, we had a safe word and everything,

but like, she's very dangerous.

- Okay, I see.
- And so you get a text

from Drusille, and the text says,

"I need to talk to you tomorrow morning."

- Ooh.

- Why can't you talk to me right now?

- Because I should have my
answer by tomorrow morning.

- [Ify] Ooh.

- What is this about? Why
can't you just tell me?

- Nice, you're coming in
strong, and it's great.

- Because I'd rather have it face to face,

without going through the internet.

- Oh.

- Don't be weird. Not a flirting thing.

We might have issues, but I at
least respect and trust you.

- Wow. Drusille has no accent over text.

- No.

- It's like, read in my voice.

- [Ally] Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- I respect you

and I trust you.

Wow. Okay.

I don't know. She's being
really f*cking weird.

- [Ally] Yeah.
- I mean, weirder than normal.

- It's probably because
she wants to butter you up,

since she wants to date,
you know, Megan now.

- [Ally] Yeah.
- Does she?

- She's all about me.
- The vibes, the vibes.

- I would say, definitely
ruined my chances

by bringing her down to a basement

that was completely empty,

going, "There's going
to be pods everywhere."

- I was also there.

- [Ally] Yeah, but thank you,

that you added a little credibility.

- Honestly, if you want
to get in with her,

if you just like, make a
small sacrifice to her,

she would enjoy it.

- That's something to think about.

- [Dani] Please don't-
- Seems a little codependent,

which is what I'm trying to avoid.

Full sacrifice-
- [Lily] You've been there

before.
- Don't give her

anything fermented.

You might make her actually
ill, but yeah, like fresh blood.

- She tried some of my sauerkraut.

- She did?
- [Ally] Did she?

- Yeah, she did.
- Yeah, she did,

and she said it needed garlic.

- [Dani] Oh.
- But maybe she's not

a f*cking vampire.

She's a-

- Fanpire.
- [Lily] Fanpire. Wow.

- Fake vampire.
- Yeah.

- [Ify] Two As. Fake-a*s vampire.

- [Lily] I try to snap my fingers.

I can't, because the bandage-

- [Ally] Covered in bandages.
- Oh my God.

- So soft.

- If she turns out to be a
human and I f*cked a human,

I will-

- This is your own projection-
- It'd be good for you.

- We need to move on from
that kind of thought.

- [Dani] Yeah.

- Let's go to the vice dean's office.

We've got to find this basement.

- [Lily] Oh, okay.

- Wait, can I send a text
back to my dad really quick?

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Okay, so you guys,

I'm so sorry.

I love you times one, two, three,

and I send the little
devil emoji that's purple.

- Kind of a sexy emoji.
- [Ally] Yeah, your dad?

- No, it's not.
- That's the devil

that's purple.

Is it smiling?
- I usually send that one as-

- Yeah.

That's like, I didn't get any
sleep last night. Devil emoji.

- No, that's like-

- Yeah, that's like, Daddy.
- [Ally] Yeah, yeah.

- Even I know that. I learned
it on Urbandictionary.com

- [Ally] You can write
absolutely any text in the world,

and if you follow it up
with just that emoji,

I swear to God, it
changes the whole thing.

- Yeah.
- But that's like our...

He's like purple and-
- Oh, that's true.

Okay, that just-
- I see, I see.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

- I still stand by the fact

that that emoji changes everything.

- Yeah, no.
- This is like,

how one time, my dad sent
me an emoji of a little guy.

There was a leg in a high heel,

and then it was just a
little emoji kissing it.

This is real.
- He was like,

"This is so cute."
- It was like

a little minion kissing a foot.

- That's so funny.

- And I was like, delete this.

- That is so funny. That's so funny.

- Anyways, yes. My dad,
the mummy. We know.

Anyways, moving on.

- [Ally] Wow.
- [Ify] Yeah.

- [Gabe] Okay.

So all of you do make your
way to the dean's office.

It is late at night.

Owls are hooting out in the air,

and it seems completely locked.

There's no genuine entrance,
and it's getting a bit ominous.

And you do see trees
swaying and moving around

as you move through this campus,

and decide it's probably the safest bet

to come back during the daylight,

when there's actually light around you,

instead of surrounded by darkness.

So you go in for a nice
rest, and you dream softly.

And morning comes, and
as if like clockwork,

you hear your radios go off once more.

- [Swamp Thing] Good
morning, monstrosities.

It's a beautiful Thursday morning,

and you're here with your BU radio hosts,

Swamp thing-
- [Fen] And wild Wolf

Wolfen.

- [Swamp Thing] Let me tell you,

there's still more week to shriek.

Ain't that right, Big W?

- [Fen] That's right,

the consciousness of
all plant life on earth.

This evening is all about talent.

- [Swamp Thing] Yes, my canine companion.

Come on down to the BU
talent show tonight.

- [Fen] We have several
performers and groups

all ready to show us
what they've got, baby.

- [Swamp Thing] And we
sure hope that it's talent,

because the person or group
with the highest score

will win-

- [Fen] a dining hall VIP pass,

a treasure so rare, so valuable,

that Cerberus themselves was
chosen to stand to its guard.

For you see, a VIP dining
hall pass grants the wielder

the right to skip the line
and get whatever they want,

when they want it.

With a power this devastating,

all participating students
will have to step up

to the streets behind hall A,

or use the wheelchair ramp.

- [Swamp Thing] So prepare for
the night of your nine lives,

cats and kittens.

It's going to be a showdown.

Don't forget to be there, and-

- [Fen] BU.

- I take my AirPods out, and
I didn't hear any of that.

- I also text Cleets.

I'm like, Hey, I'm busy this morning.

Don't talk to me this morning.

- God.

- You see like, the typing.
It stops. Starts typing again.

Stops.

Okay. Question mark. Are
we okay? Question mark.

- No, we're great.

My parents are here, and if you
ask them, I've never kissed.

- Oh yeah, sure. That's
fine. Cool. Thank you.

- Okay.

- Your parents are
weird about you kissing?

You're like 5.000 years old.

- They're very strict,
and I'm a daughter, okay?

- What was it? Use your
ancient mouth to say something?

- Ancient brain.
- Yeah.

- [Dani] Okay, I'm going
to message Drusille.

I'm going to do a voice message.

Literally, what do you want?

[all laughing]

- I don't know why
you're acting like this.

It was just that I was using blood magic,

and it does seem like

Yui's presence is partially here,

but it's not entirely here.

- Okay, I don't really care
about your new partner.

- Oh my.

- But why were you in my room?

- What do you mean?

- I just call.

Why were you in my room?

- I wasn't in your room.
- [Dani] Yeah,

it smelled like garlic,
and I know that that's you.

Also what are you doing
f*cking around with garlic?

That could k*ll you.

- [Gabe] Well, I like the way it burns.

It's like hot sauce for normal people.

- You were in my room. My mirror-

- [Gabe] When?
- My talking mirror

that doesn't lie

told me that you were there.

- How? How did it describe me?

- Literally with its mouth.

It said a shadow. It said
a garlic-smelling shadow.

- [Gabe] Shadow?
- [Dani] Yeah. You.

- We don't show up in mirrors, idiot.

- Yes, of course, I know.

It was like a floating,
garlic-smelling thing.

- So, if it reflected
in the mirror, right?

- No, they said that it
was nothing, I think.

Maybe I should reconvene with my friends.

- [Ally] Stay mad, stay mad.

[all laughing]

- Wait, I run across the hall.

Did it say it saw something
or it saw nothing?

- It said a shadowy figure,

and then we added all the garlic stuff.

- Yeah, yeah, no, no. You
added all the garlic stuff.

- Yeah, definitely. I was being generous.

- Wait, I thought you said it
smelled like garlic in there.

- [Ify] No, no, no.
- [Lily] Outside your door.

- She smelled like
garlic, outside the door.

And we followed the note-

- A shadowy figure, then. Who was that?

- It isn't Drusille?

Do you think Drusille's lying,
or do you think there's-

- [Ally] Is this art buyer?

- Like a shadowy dude.

- Let's talk to your mirror again.

- We go back to the mirror.

Hey.
- [Ify] What did you-

- The mirror was waking
up? You have to sleep?

You're a mirror.
- Yeah.

- [Ify] What do you mean?

What do you mean by shadowy-

- Please be nice to the mirror.

- [Ally] Yeah, definitely.
- It is a narc

and reports back to my parents.

- [Ally] Wait, you guys, we're just-

- I don't talk to your mom.
- [Ally] Cranky in

the morning.

We always start our mornings out at a 10,

and we take it out on whoever
we come into contact first.

- [Lily] This is true.
- We need to look

in the mirror on this.

- This is true.
- Wow.

- So you're standing in
front of this mirror.

- [Dani] Yeah.

- You see no reflection
of yourself at all.

- [Dani] Of course.

- What do we see? Like
her shadow on the ground?

- No.
- [Ally] Okay.

- You see nothing.

- We don't have a photo of-

- What did you mean by shadowy figure?

- That perv who bought your photo.

- It was just a figure that looked

like they were made of shadows.

- To clarify, you would
still see her clothing.

Just not her.

- But it looked like a full figure?

- Yes, it looks like it was almost like,

moving, walking smoke.
- So, not a vampire.

- What was that person wearing?

Can you explain-
- [Lily] It's what he's-

- [Ally] What the person was
wearing who bought the art?

- The guy who bought my
photos? I describe it.

Does it sound like that?

- No, that sounds still different,

because that person you've
described them wearing clothes.

This was just smoke.

- Smoke.
- [Gabe] Smoke and shadow.

- Wait, wasn't there smoke-

- There was a lot of
smoke with the plants.

- Oh, I hate this.
- Didn't somebody like,

grab somebody?

- Okay, scary.

[all laughing]

Because that means it was in your room.

You could have been grabbed at any time.

- [Dani] Oh my gosh.
- [Lily] Oh my God.

Thank God we made it
out of this night alive.

Can we check back in on Kevin's room?

- Sure.
- Yeah, can we see

if the door's still busted?

- [Gabe] It's still-
- Okay.

Can I take the mirror, though?
I want it to go in first.

- [Gabe] Yes. Okay. Going a trip. Sure.

You put the mirror in.
What am I looking at?

- I put it on a rolly desk chair,

and I push it into the room.

Just report. What do you see?

- Make a physical check for me.

- Just report.

- Oh my God.

Oh, I got a nine and a two.

- [Gabe] Okay, so you do
push it in, and you hear,

oh, there's a lot of weed in here.

Okay. What am I looking for?

- Anything about hating women-
- [Ally] Vines.

- Or vines.
- [Dani] Or vines.

- Yeah, look for some sort of like,

"I hate women," banner.

- [Lily] Like a manifesto.
- [Ally] Or look for vines.

- Like a manifesto.

- You don't have to do that.

- You want vines?

- [Ally] Mhmm.
- Most of the things in here

look like they're dying.

- [Lily] Oh.
- Okay.

But it looks like weed.
Is that what you said?

- We just burst in.
- [Ally] Yeah, let's go.

Let's go.
- The mirror,

the way it's positioned, it
like looks underneath the bed,

and there's like, medicinal
marijuana under there.

- [Ally] Oh.
- [Lily] Cool.

- Growing, or like in a jar?
- [Gabe] In a jar.

- Okay.
- Oh my gosh.

What if he has health issues?

- [Gabe] But the other plants
look like they are dying.

- Okay. So he hasn't
been here in like, days.

- [Ally] Can we see-
- These are like bad plants.

- [Ally] Yeah.
- There's all kinds

of plants in here.

There was one row of plants
that were the weird saplings

that you touched-
- [Dani] Yeah.

- But there's also still
a variety of plants.

- [Lily] How are the saplings looking?

- They look fine.

- Okay. Are there any vines?
- [Gabe] No.

- Okay.

- Some of them look a little bit bigger.

- Hey, look under.

Are there any more
cursed photos down there?

Go look under-
- I don't want

another tattoo.

- [Dani] Okay, so I take
Gloria, that's her name.

I take Gloria and I put her
under the bed to see if there's-

- I'm so glad you named her now.

It's not sad that we're like,

absolutely abusing this mirror.

- Oh. What is that?

- What do you see?

- Ow, stop. Stop.
- Okay, I pull her out.

- There's a little man under there.

- Go, go, look under the covers.

- Oh, I reach under and grab the man.

[Gabe groans]

- And it's a familiar face. It's Kevin.

- What the-
- [Ally] You m*therf*cker.

- [Dani] What have you been doing?

- You piece of sh*t.

- [Gabe] What's happening?

- We've been looking for you.

- [Ify] Yeah.
- We cared.

- Why are you hiding from us?
- Yeah.

- The plants are always
watching, and I hate it.

- [Ify] Okay.
- It's scary.

- Did you plant these plants?
- [Gabe] No.

- These new ones.
- The new ones.

- How did they get here?
- How did they get here?

- I woke up and they were in the pot.

- So you just woke up
and they were in there?

- Why have you been
missing the last two days?

- Yeah, what? You weirdo.

- I was going to the dean's office,

because I wanted to talk to him.

And as I got there, there
was this weird plant thing.

Didn't know what it was. Kind of hated it.

I wanted to talk about my garden.

I said that there was some
sort of strange infestation,

and it's a problem for the eggplants.

So I was going to the dean
to talk, and on my way there,

some weird plant thing picked me up,

tried to drag me down
below, managed to get away.

So I've been hiding for
like, the last 48 hours.

- Have you taken cursed nudes of yourself?

- Yeah. And I show him the photo.

I show him the tattoo I have of him.

- How do you reverse the curse?

- What's this?
- How do you reverse

the curse?

- Well, I mean, it's one of
the most resourceful ways

to make it-
- How do you

reverse the curse?

- I'll have to make a
plant that can do it.

- [Ally] Okay. Okay.
- Okay, okay, okay.

We'll do that later.

But you're with us, because
you are the only thing.

Have you figured out any
ways, how to stop this?

- I don't think it's a normal plant.

I think it's like an abomination

that's connected to a strange hive-mind.

- Definitely.
- All right.

- Have you noticed it liking anything,

or like, craving something?

What does it eat?

- Essence, memories. Souls.

- What? What are you talking
about? It took your memories?

- No, but it like-

- I need something tangible. Okay.

- [Lily] Can I try something?

- Yeah.

- I take one of the
saplings, the bad ones.

I touch it to Ify's eye.

- You stop.
- [Lily] I touch it

to Terry's eye to see if it'll turn gold,

and what that does.
- Can you stop? Can you stop?

- I touch it to Terry's eye.
- Oh my God, Lily.

- I touch it to Terry's eye.

- Roll three, D10.

- Let's see if Midas is
stronger than the hive.

- Eight, four, three.

- At first, it does start to solidify.

And then the sapling starts
like, whipping around randomly.

Rapidly, wildly. And the
rest of it turns to gold.

- So, none of it is plant
anymore? It's just gold.

- [Gabe] Correct.
- Can I take that plant-

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- And touch it

to another plant?

Does it turn the other one gold?

- It does.

- Yo.
- [Ally] Okay.

- You got to stop wearing those earrings.

- Oh.
- [Ally] Interesting.

- Okay. Touch all of them.

Do they writhe when you touch them?

- They do.
- [Ally] Okay.

They don't like it. I
turn them all to gold.

- [Gabe] Yeah. They start
ripping and writhing.

And your eye is even more gold now.

- Oh.
- Whoa.

- I am so sorry, but
we k*lled the saplings.

- Yeah.
- [Lily] Isn't that good?

- [Dani] Isn't that good?
- Yeah, but I'm thinking

I might have to deal with this eye.

- [Ally] Yeah, definitely.

- Okay.
- You get a text

that says, "We're waiting
for you, sweetie."

- Oh. sh**t, my parents are here.

- Oh my God, our parents.

- [Dani] I grab one of the gold things

to give them as a present.

- [Ally] Great.

- I'm going to give them a bar of gold.

- [Ify] Okay, here's the thing.

- Yeah.
- Our parents are on the way.

Let's check in with our
parents, send them home-

- Yeah.
- And get back to this.

- Yeah.
- Great, great.

- Right. Of course.
- Totally.

Definitely. I also
pocket one of the plants.

- [Ify] Kevin.

- Yeah.
- Do you feel safer

staying with me, or staying here?

- You're not going to
turn me to gold, are you?

- No. Don't touch my eye.

- Okay.
- Wait, Kevin,

was that thing forcing you to do stuff?

Is that like, why you thumbs
down my pictures and things?

The last 24 hours?

- I haven't been on the
internet in the last 24 hours.

- Okay, you got hacked, then.

- Yeah, because somebody like,

went through and thumbs down
and like, reported my page,

and I wasn't sure if that-

- Some of my friends I
think were projecting

their own emotions and made some choices

that I didn't agree with.

But I understand I made you uncomfortable.

I am so sorry for that.
Should've given context.

That's on me.
- Yeah.

- Totally acknowledge my
responsibility in that.

- Oh my God. Okay,
Kevin, you're hot again.

- [Gabe] Thanks.
- Yeah.

- Yeah. There's still
something. I don't know.

There's just-
- Kevin, the nudes are good.

I'm fully on board with Kevin now.

Because I've always thought he was cute.

- [Ally] I think we do
need to raise the bar

for men in general, with,
"Oops. I sent an eggplant.

I'm really growing eggplant."

- Is that a short joke?

- No, no, it's not. Your bar-

- All right, well,
let's all go to the quad

and meet our parents.

- You're cool.
- [Ally] Let's get this

over with.

- [Gabe] Alright.

Now let's transition to the quad,

where we'll get to meet
the party's parents.

All famous monsters from tales of old,

who have absolutely no
idea about the madness

you've experienced this week.

This is totally fine.

[all laughing]

Terry, you do see both of your parents.

They're large, bold, beautiful wolves,

towering, rippling figures.

- [Ify] How are you doing?
- [Gabe] Terry.

- [Ify] Hey.
- [Gabe] Good to see you,

my son.
- Dad. Hey.

Good to see you too.
- So, Terry, our boy.

- [Ify] Oh yeah.
- Beautiful baby boy.

- Yeah. Doing good. Having a good time.

This is my friend, Kevin.

- Hello.

He's very small.

- Yeah. Yeah.

We're doing like, a hazing for a frat,

and we have to stay together
for the next 24 hours.

- [Gabe] Oh yeah. Yeah.

- [Ify] Yeah.
- Okay. Lovely.

I guess.

Well, I'm glad you're making friends.

- Yeah, yeah. No, I've made
a lot of friends, you know?

My older bro was here earlier-

- Yes. He told us that he came.

- Yeah. But you know,
last year, feeling good.

Real excited about, you know,

getting out of here and
starting the antique business.

- Yes. Yes. Still excited about that?

- Yeah, yeah, I mean it works,

because you always got products.

There will always be old stuff.

Like, any old stuff
y'all want to get rid of,

y'all can give it to me, and
then I'll sell it in my shop.

- You really believe in this, don't you?

- Oh yeah, I do.

- If you believe in it,
so do we. Right, honey?

- Yeah, yeah. That really,
really fills me with confidence.

Thanks. Love you.
- [Gabe] Hey, Hey. Hey.

You are my son.

I don't have to always
agree with what you do,

but I will love you anyways.
- Right. Love you too.

- How's your play?

- Oh, that's been something

that's been bubbling up,

and I'm going to give a snippet
at the talent show tonight.

- Ooh.
- [Ify] Really excited.

- We will come see it.

- [Ify] Oh yeah. The word it's buzzing.

The buzz is buzz.

- Bussing, bussing.

- [Ify] Yeah, it's buzzing.
Buzzing with a Z. Not Bussing.

- I think it was an S.

Your play is about to be bussing, bussing.

- Sure, Dad. Thanks. Thanks.

I truly do appreciate you trying
to keep up with the lingo,

and the slang.

- Cool dad.

- Yeah, I hope you enjoy it.
I hope Kevin enjoys it too.

- Are you holding Kevin like a baby?

- [Lily] Yeah.

- His head is right here. Right in my arm.

- He even enjoys it.

- Tuti, you see your parents arrive.

So ahead of you, you see a
mummified figure wearing sandals,

khakis, and a weird checkered shirt,

that looks like it's from
a terrible '70s TV show.

- [Lily] Okay, I'm wrapped, fully wrapped,

full white clean bandages.

And I have it tied in
like, a little like bow tie

on my neck.

- Tuti, where did you get that sunhat?

- [Lily] Hello.
- It is good to see you again.

- Hello father.
- [Gabe] Hello daughter.

What have you been up to?

- [Lily] I have been doing my photography,

and studying my structural engineering,

ready to help reinforce our pyramids.

- Good, good, good. Yes.

- [Lily] Yes.
- Good choices.

- [Lily] Yes.
- Have you found a suitor yet?

- What?
- A suitor?

- No. Because I'm not supposed to.

- No, I was just making sure.

It is something that kids
were doing, apparently.

So I was told to check.

- Oh my God. I thought you
wanted me to find a suitor.

- No, no. You need no person.

- Okay. Yes, absolutely.
No, I would never.

Dating is beneath me. I love to be alone.

- [Gabe] That is our girl. Yes. Yes.

The only thing better than loneliness

is mutual chosen loneliness.

Your mother and I, we share
a tomb but different coffins.

It's good for us.
- Yes, absolutely.

I too, if I one day were to partner up,

would love to forever not
share space with them, yes.

Just like you and mom.

- What do you plan to do
when you leave this place?

- Wow, you have no respect
for higher education, do you?

- It is called higher education,
but it is still beneath us.

- [Lily] Yeah.

You know, maybe kind of, you know,

I would at least like to pursue
my photography for a while.

Maybe travel, take some photos
before I go back to Egypt.

- Travel where? There is no
place better or more beautiful.

- I've heard Amsterdam is cool.

- Place that sounds like hamsterdam.

- Is that your problem with the city?

I've heard Prague.
- It sounds like frog.

You're just naming places
that sound like animals.

- China.
- The one that sounds

like that,

you should not say it out loud.

- Okay. These are
prejudices against others.

I just want to take some time to myself.

I'm not coming back after
graduation for awhile.

- What do you mean, you're not
coming back after graduation?

- For awhile. Then I'll be back.

- There is no place better.

- [Lily] You know, study
other people's pyramids.

I heard there's one in Paris.
It's a little one, glass one.

They put art in it.

Something interesting, kind of, for us.

We could learn about that.

- Make a social check.

- Don't f*ck me. A three and a one.

- It's not real.
- [Lily] Google it.

- No. What is that?

- Okay. I'm doing great.

I'll be back home right after graduation.

- Okay.
- Okay. Great.

- Great.
- Great.

- Great.
- Great.

- Such a good daughter.

- Okay, thank you. Great, okay.

- And then we move over to Seven.

And Seven, you see your parents arriving,

your father and mother.

Your father, relatively small,
but floating through the air,

and your mother, tall,
slender, hair in a bun.

And every few seconds she like leans over

and gives your father a kiss
on his beautiful velvet cheek.

- When they enter, I cannot look away.

I'm staring.

- Hi.
- [Gabe] Hello, my daughter.

- One, two.
- [Gabe] One, two.

- And three.
- Three.

- [Dani] And four.
- And four.

Beautiful daughter. Yes.

- Thank you for coming to visit.

- My pleasure to see you.

- I had no idea you guys were coming.

Did you send the mirror?

- I did, honey. Yes.

- [Dani] Yeah, well, why?

- I wanted to give you a gift?

- Yeah, you know, I
can't really see in it.

- It's like a magical version of those,

what do they call it?

iPads.
- I mean, I feel like

you're spying on me.

Because this happened
when I was in high school,

you remember?
- [Gabe] Mhmm.

- With the full length floor mirror.

- Yeah, yeah, yeah. No,
this one's different.

That one didn't speak.
- You were

watching everything,

and that's how found out
that I lost my virginity

while you guys were
away on dad's golf trip.

And anyways, while we're here,
I just wanted to say that,

you know, I've been
thinking about my major,

and I feel like, you know,

I don't know if accounting
is right for me.

- One, two,

three awkward seconds.

What exactly do you mean?

- I mean, I don't think it's right for me.

- What would you like to do instead?

- Well, I've been really
looking into my artwork.

- [Gabe] Oh.
- I did some earlier, and-

- I overhear this.

It's really good stuff. It's really-

- It was riveting, and it
had people up off their feet.

- May I see it?

- It actually sold, so
I'll have to track it down.

- Make a social check.

- [Dani] Oh my God.

Seven, nine, two, seven.
- [Gabe] Okay.

It sold?
- [Dani] Yeah.

- For how much?

- $500.000.

Half a mill.

I know that's not like,
a lot to y'all, but-

- That's not a lot?
That's one, two, three-

- Dad, we can't do it.

We can't go through the
whole thing right now.

- He looks lovingly at the wife,

and the wife looks lovingly at him.

- Oh my God.
- [Gabe] You do know

I love when we count money.

Yes, darling, but one, two,
three times on the plane?

- I overhear this also.

- Just essentially standing
in a circle with them.

- I know. I'm so curious about
this parent relationship.

- [Dani] Can you guys
stop touching each other?

Please, for two seconds,

keep your hands off of each other, please.

- [Gabe] One, two-
- For more

than two seconds, Dad.

- Honey, what is wrong?

- There's been something
really weird going on

on this campus.

- Do you want us to look into it?

- Maybe. I know that
you're really powerful.

So I feel that could help.

But if you guys actually look into it,

not like, go secretly
somewhere and f*ck each other.

- No, we won't do that-

- Okay. That would be great.

Because you did that at my ballet recital,

and I wasn't allowed to be
on the team for a whole year.

And you also did it at my soccer game.

And then you also did it at my drill team

spring performance.

- Drill team.
- Drill team.

I heard that also.

- [Gabe] I love happy endings.

- Yeah, so anyways, if
you could just stay apart,

that might be helpful, actually.

- We will look into it, promise.

- [Dani] Okay. Thanks, Dad.

- Okay.

One, two, three.

And starts making his way off.

- Wow.
- Yeah, you didn't

have to be there.

Like, you were so loud. What the f*ck?

- I had never met your parents before.

I've never met royalty. I had to see.

- [Ally] Oh my God.
- Okay.

You were like, being a little bit extra.

- My back was turned.

I was talking to-
- Yeah, but your mouth

was like this way.

- And all of you are
together at this point.

The parents have dispersed.
You're able to get together.

- Wait, where your parents?

- Oh wait. Yeah.

- Your parents didn't show.

- Oh my God.

- Did they tell you they were coming?

- Wait. Yeah. I text them. Hey guys.

It's parents day.

- Yeah. We just got really
busy with work at home.

We are so proud. You're
doing great. Megann.

And Megan is like,
misspelled a little bit.

There's two Ns at the end.

- [Ally] Hey, what the f*ck? Okay.

- What do your parents do, again?

- My dad is in real estate,

and my mom is like, she
works like, in an office.

- Checking out houses to haunt, and stuff.

- Yeah, definitely. He's in
real estate like, for haunting.

- Yeah. Cool, cool, cool.

- Can I try to like, FaceTime them?

- It gets declined.

- Lecture hall. There's
like, one of those old TVs.

I feel like maybe you could turn it on.

- Yeah, and get like, my sister out here.

- Or maybe you didn't
want to see them anyways.

- I mean yeah, definitely.

- [Lily] Yeah.
- Yeah. Weird.

Okay.
- Cool. Great.

- Whoa, damn.

- Megan.
- Yeah.

- I'll have one of your fermented drinks.

- I'll take one too.

- I'll also take one.

- Thanks guys. Yeah. Thanks.

- Kevin.

- Yeah. Yeah. I'll take one. Take one.

- Kevin'll take two. So
yeah, so five shrubs?

Five raisin shrubs?

- [Dani] Yes.
- [Lily] Yeah.

- Okay. Yeah.

I take out a bottle,

and it's like about to explode.

There's so much like fermentation.

There's raisins like, going
crazy in the bottle. Oh God.

Maybe I added too many raisins. Okay.

- [Lily] Yum, more raisins-

- It's smells right.

- So you, Megan, make a fermentation roll.

- Yeah, great.
- [Gabe] Everyone else

make a physical roll.

- Oh my God.
- f*ck us.

- Okay.

- I got a nine and a one.
- [Gabe] nine, one.

- Three twos and a five.
- [Gabe] Three two, five.

- [Lily] Nine, eight, eight, one.

- [Gabe] Nine, eight, eight, one.

- I got a two and an eight.

- Okay. So it is a success.

You don't feel sick, but it is not good.

It's okay to you two,

but it definitely upsets your stomach.

- Oh right. I chuck it behind me.

- I really drink it. I go mm.

- Ooh.

- Ooh.
- [Gabe] Kevin-

- [Dani] Oh my Gosh, this-

- Kevin throws up a little.

- [Dani] Like the best ever.

- [Ally] Cool.
- [Dani] It tastes so good.

- [Ally] Thanks guys.
- Very sweet, just like blood.

- Honestly, this one was...

Yeah, it kind of leaves like,

a little bit in your mouth, right?

It almost like, regenerates in your mouth.

- There's an under-taste
that I wasn't expecting.

- There's a lot of like, kind of earthy,

almost rancid notes, right, I think.

- The rancid, we liked that.

- That's fermentation, right?

- [Lily] Yeah.
- It's controlled rotting.

- Yeah.
- That's the cool thing

about it.

That's the cool thing about eating it.

I loved that.

- [Lily] Great.
- I loved that.

And you guys are really good friends.

- [Lily] Great, right.

- [Dani] Wait a second.

There was like, a perv bird
that looked into my window,

and it had like three heads,

and it was like watching me
undress, and then it like-

- Was it watching you
undress or was it just there?

- Yeah, was there just a bird-

- It was a perv bird.

- [Ally] I believe you. I believe you.

- It was a peeping Tom bird.

- Everything I see is
trying to get with me.

- Yeah.

- I have another thing to bring up.

Wait, but this, I'm being
kind of serious though.

Did you guys hear Wolfen, in
the morning announcements,

be like, "All plant life"?

- [Lily] No.

- Like it was a directed
shout out to all plant life.

- [Dani] What did he say?

- It was like, "Good morning everyone,

especially all plant life," or something.

- [Dani] Wait, can we track them down?

- Yeah, can we find Wolfen the wolf?

Let's go find them.

- We're going to beat
his a*s. Yeah, let's go.

- That'd be great. Do we know
where to find this person?

- They might actually be
presenting at the talent show.

- Like, oh, okay.
- [Lily] Tonight. Okay.

Later tonight. Okay.
- We keep our eye

out for them.

- Okay, hey, you got that pesticide?

My parents just left.
- [Ally] Oh, perfect.

- Cleets does find you and gives you

what is like a large
container of pesticide.

- Let's go dump it in the
hole, or at least part of it.

- The hole has closed.
- [Gabe] Yes.

- You cannot call it the hole anymore.

- [Gabe] It's just solid ground.

- Yeah.
- [Dani] Can you pour it

on top?

- No, we have to go to the-

- Can you hold Kevin?

- And Drusille does text you and says

that she may have a way into the basement

of the dean's office,

but she thinks we'll need a
distraction to get in there,

so there's less people around.

- I look at Kevin.
- I give Kevin

over to Tubi.
- Okay.

- Tooby?

- Tuti. Tuti.

I hate when people get
my name wrong. It's Tuti.

- [Ify] All right.
- Your friends

really care about you.

- I throw Kevin on the ground.

- I pick Kevin up, hold him
like a baby. I swaddle him.

- I get so frustrated.

I'm like, first, my
f*cking parents are here

and they asked me, am I being a good girl?

Am I being a good girl?
And now you call me Tooby?

- Yeah.

- [Ify] I accidentally called you

what we called you and
Cubie when you were-

- Oh, I know.
- [Ally] All right.

- I know.

- But no, I just need to make very-

- RIP, Cubie.
- Important text.

- No, we don't know.

- I think I'm just trying
to see what my parents are-

- Why don't you start a new
acronym? Me and Cleetus. Teetus.

- Okay, time out.

Drusille just said that she knows

how to get into the basement.

- Yes.
- Yeah, yeah.

- So, does no one care?

- [Ally] I mean, we do-

- [Ify] No, we definitely-
- [Lily] We're going to

create a distraction with Kevin.

- Yeah, yeah.
- [Dani] Okay, I think

we should just throw him in there.

- [Ally] He's right here. He's right here.

- [Dani] Okay. Wait.
- [Ally] Wow.

Okay, I'm already thinking about like,

what's a good school I
could send him to one day?

Like, if I work hard and save?

- [Lily] He's in the same grade as you.

- I'm a grown man.
- I'm kissing his head.

Like, way too many times. The back of it.

- He's a senior.
- [Gabe] This is strange.

- Wait, be careful of his soft spot.

- I am, I'm guarding it.

- I had Econ 101 with him.
- [Ally] Definitely.

He's so smart. I know everyone
says that about their kids.

- [Dani] I'm pretty sure-
- But he's so smart.

- Stop touching me.

- [Dani] I'm pretty sure
he f*cked my old roommate.

- I let Kevin go and I just
kind of regroup mentally.

- Okay. All right.
- Okay.

- Let's all meet up with Drusille,
and then work out a plan.

- [Dani] All right.

- Let's meet her-
- So wait,

so I text Drusille.

Okay. Be there in two.

- I'll meet you at the talent show.

- What? No, we got to...

What time is the talent
show? It's tonight, right?

- [Gabe] It is. The talent
show is a good distraction.

Most people will be away.

- Yeah, but some of us have to perform.

- It's all right. I'll do my performance.

And I will forgive you
all for not being there.

- No, maybe we could all be there

and all like, dip out
immediately after you're done.

There's a lot of acts.
- You don't need

to do the post stage door thing.

- But you know, I'd hate for
someone to be waiting for me,

and then I'm not there.

- Okay, we should maybe
think a little bit more

about the plan.

If you really want to do distraction.

Wait, can I ask Kevin something?

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- Kevin, you know,

I don't know if my memory made this up,

but you know those things,

like, some of them are like Miracle Gro,

and it's like a stake that
you like stab into the ground

and it's like fertilizer?
- [Gabe] Yeah.

- Do you have any of
those, like in your room?

- Yeah, yeah, I can grab
them and meet you somewhere.

- Incredible.

Should we fill a bunch of
those with this poison,

so then we have-

- [Lily] Is Cleetus still with us?

- Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- [Gabe] Yeah.

- Somebody go with Kevin.

- Okay, yeah, I'll go with Kevin.

- I don't need him grabbing anything

and then getting kidnapped by a plant.

- I'll take Kevin. Says Cleets.

- [Ally] Oh.
- Cleets, you have no idea

what's going on, do you?

- Not really, but I'm
just here for a good time.

- You should go with him.

- Yeah, you go with, to make sure-

- No, I'm going to go with you guys.

- You're all kind of small.

- I guess we need to
go to the talent show.

Drusille said that she'd meet us there.

- You get another text from Drusille.

I might be able to do it
during the talent show.

- All right, so we have some
time before the talent show.

I'm going to go talk to Asterith
and make sure she's safe,

because I don't need her
getting kidnapped by plants,

and y'all should check on people too.

Make sure.
- Definitely.

- Yeah. So I'm going to see Asterith.

- Okay, so what would
each of you like to do

in the afternoon?

Checking on Asterith.

- I'm going to follow Cleets.
- [Gabe] Okay.

- I also follow them.
- [Gabe] Okay.

- I'm going to go back to my room,

but I see that it's blowing up on Twitter

that there's a couple in the library

that's f*cking in the book stacks.

- Oh no.

- Oh my God. So embarrassing.

- [Gabe] So you go check on Asterith,

and Asterith is just
pumping iron in the gym.

- Pumping the whole gym.
- [Ally] Just pounding gym.

- [Gabe] Pounding it back.

Just lifting weights like it's easy.

- So, is anyone else in
the gym, or it's just us?

- There's a few other
people, but it's not many.

- Oh. Hey. You need a spot?

- Yeah, yeah, sure.

- Yeah. Just wanted to
make sure you're safe.

Because you know, like I said,

sh*t is going down and I kind
of feel like I'm going crazy,

because only me and my
friends care about it.

And literally everyone else

is just going about the
school year, which I get.

You know, last year, want to
get it over and done with,

but I hate to see half of the class die.

- [Gabe] Desensitized, it's wild.

I've been cautious since
you said something.

- Yeah, well I've never
been worried about you.

- I'm excited about your show.

- [Ify] Oh.

I'm getting kind of nervous, but you know,

I'm trying to let that nervous
energy fuel me, you know?

- Nervous just means you care, I guess.

- Yeah, so.

So.

Damn.

I was going to invite you
to Van Helsing's party,

but he got eaten by the hole.

[all laughing]

- You were going to invite me to a party?

- Yeah, yeah, you know,
Van Helsing was like,

"Oh, you got to come and party.

But for some reason, you
have to have a plus one."

I was just trying to
see if there was someone

I connected with,

to bring them to the party
with me, and it was you,

but he is no longer around,

so I guess there will
be no party, I guess.

Maybe I'll see you around
in a romantic capacity,

fur against fur.

- Puts the weights down.

I knew they were missing,

but I thought they were
just doing some dumb sh*t.

- I watched him get swallowed
by a hole in the ground

that we kind of asked him
to sh**t something into,

and as a consequence to
that, he was sucked in,

and the ground closed up after him.

- [Gabe] But if turns out fine,

like the thing is still happening?

- Yeah, yeah. 100%,

but we also don't have
to wait for a party.

- [Gabe] Well, let's do-
- To make out.

- I mean, if the party doesn't happen,

you still want to go out Saturday?

- Yeah, yeah, no, we can
definitely go out Saturday.

But we also don't have to
wait three days to make out.

- Do you want to make out
after the talent show?

- [Ify] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

But we also don't have
to wait three hours.

[all laughing]

- Wow, it's not. Social.

- Can we make out?

- [Lily] Social roll.
- Can we please make out?

- [Gabe] Social roll. Make a social roll.

- [Lily] Give him less
dice. Give him less dice.

- [Gabe] God.

- Oh my Gosh, four, five, and a one.

- Yes. Critical fail.

- Maybe.
- Yeah, I definitely don't.

I wasn't trying to.

I just get so nervous that I don't know.

I was just trying to convey
that I'm really into you,

and I feel like I missed the
mark by really pushing it.

I wasn't trying to. We
don't have to make out.

We don't even have to. You owe me nothing.

- [Gabe] Wow. I need a shower.
I'm excited for your show.

- [Ify] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I need to go work on those
lines anyway, so I got to go.

I got to go back to my room.

- [Gabe] Yeah, cool, cool.
- Goodbye. Bye.

- [Gabe] And so the two
of you are following

Cleets and Kevin back,

and they do just go back to Kevin's room,

get a couple of the injectors,

and then actually start
making their way back

towards the talent show area.

- All right. They're trustworthy.

You got a catch on your hands.

- [Lily] All right.
- [Ally] That's so cool.

- Great, yeah.

- [Gabe] You went back
to your room, didn't you?

- [Dani] Yeah.
- [Gabe] So you're basically

in number two, right next door.

- [Dani] Okay. I was
going to message Korra.

- [Gabe] Do it.
- Oh, hey,

what are you doing?

- I'm just sitting in my
room. What are you doing?

- Oh, I'm in my room too.

- Oh. Do you want company?

- Yes, that would be great.

- You hear...

[Gabe mimics scuttling noise]

- Oh, you're really fast.

- [Gabe] Yeah. Yeah. Only when it counts.

- Oh. Okay. My parents were here earlier.

They were really awkward.

- Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. My parents came too.

I love family, but they talk
too damn much sometimes.

- Yeah. Mine just are always
trying to f*ck each other.

- Oh, oh.

- Not that I'm against like doing that.

Just, I don't want to see them doing that.

They did it a lot when I was growing up.

- No, that's fair. That's
fair. Is it a family trait?

- You know, vampires are very
sexual. We're pretty intimate.

- [Gabe] I didn't know. But
I'm always open to learn.

- I don't know. Were you
going to the talent show?

- I mean, it's not for like, 20 minutes.

- Yeah, it's not.

I like, shut my door.

- Is the mirror still in the room?

- Gloria?

- [Dani] Just hold on real quick.

And I like, take my shirt
off and I put it over Gloria.

- I guess I'll bite the vampire, then.

- [Dani] Yeah, I've never done
it with a werewolf before.

I know it's forbidden.

It's like a Juliet and Juliet situation.

- Let's make it a real Shriek Week.

- Okay.

- And then we're going to fade
the black on that. Beautiful.

The talent show is actually happening

in the student union building,

which is next to the dorm rooms,

as you're heading over there.

So, we do eventually all find ourselves

at the student union for this talent show.

There are plenty of
performances, juggling,

jokes, standup comedy.

- Can we see this wolf first?

- [Gabe] No, but you do
see Drusille standing

at the backstage with the rest of you,

and says to all of you,

"Have something that might work,

but we can do it during
your performance, actually."

- Sounds good.
- Wait, before that happens,

y'all, I f*cked a werewolf.

I've never done that before.

- [Ally] Whoa.
- [Ify] Okay.

So everybody f*cking, except me?

- I thought you were going
to meet up with Asterith.

- Yeah, it was good.
We got plans, you know?

Plans for the future.
- That's fun.

- Great, great. Anyways,
back to me. Oh my gosh.

I've never been with a werewolf before.

It's kind of semi forbidden,

but like I think we might
be in love or something.

- Oh my God. You're glowing.

- [Dani] I know. It's
probably some of her-

- You fall in love quick.

- Oh my gosh. I like pull off something.

Like when you have your
dog hair stuck on you.

I have some werewolf hair.

- Do you need like a lint roller?

- Do you need floss?

- A little.
- [Ify] Wow.

- Yeah.

She tried to give me a little
marking, just like what I do.

It was really cute. She
didn't really do very well.

- Cool, cool, very cool.

- You seem upset.

- No, I'm not.

I'm just trying to focus
up for my performance.

- Did you try to make a
move, but then it was like,

a halfway move-
- No, no.

I think we-
- It ended up being awkward?

- No, we mutually agreed that,
you know, not to rush things.

You know, after the performance
would be the perfect time-

- You guys both decided that?
- We both mutually-

- Very cool. That sounds great.

- Yeah. Oh, sorry, Drusille,
I didn't see you there.

I'm sorry you had to hear all of that.

It was honestly the most
intense I've ever had.

Just like the most intense
pleasure I've ever experienced.

- [Ally] Wow, that's crazy.
- With anyone.

So she really made me blossom.

- Would you like to make out?
- I would love to make out.

[all laughing]

- [Ify] Everyone's just...

- [Lily] Terry, Terry.

- Wow, great. That's so great.

- Cool, cool.
- [Gabe] That's cool.

- Very hot.

- Tasted ethereal, even.

- Very hot.

- [Gabe] So, are you ready?
- Yeah, I'm ready

to do my performance.

I'm locked in. I think I'm focused up.

- [Dani] Wow, he sounds in a good place.

- You know, maybe you can
make out with someone else.

- I'm just focused on-

- Honestly, self love is
the most important love.

- Yeah, make out with your
own reflection in the mirror.

- I'm at the limit with self love, okay?

- [Lily] See if Meyalth is
still around. The gorgon.

- Well, make a drama roll for me, Terry.

This is for your performance
that we're leading up to.

- A five and two.
- [Gabe] All right.

- Oh no.

- I believe in you.
- Narrate this performance

for us, Terry.

- So I step out, in my
cloak and my crown, and say,

while the full play isn't ready yet,

this is a snippet of a
monologue from As I Like It.

Now, for those who may not know,

it is a play that remixes As
You Like It, by Shakespeare.

From the point of view of Duke
Senior, if he was not exiled.

So without further ado.
I signal to the lights.

Lights go down. Lights go up.

Now, my co-mates and brothers in exile.

Oh, sorry. Oops, sorry. I'm
going to take that from the top.

- Oh no.

- Now, my co-mates and
brothers of the court,

have not new customs made
life more sweet than that

of painted pomp,

or not these halls more free from peril

than that of the envious people
who were once in the court?

Here feel we but the fruit of our labors,

which when its glory bestows on my body,

I smile and say, Duke Senior stands alone.

[Ify howls]

- [Gabe] Drusille looks
at all of you. Okay, okay.

So, what we're going to
do, just charge at Terry.

- What?
- What?

- [Gabe] Trust me, just charge at Terry.

- Okay.

- And Drusille is holding
like, the stabbing things.

And she bites her hand again.

Blood starts to pour out of it,

and you see what looks to be almost like

a red aura appearing,
and Terry, around you,

there is a swirl of red energy,

as light starts to drain from the room.

And you feel yourself
pulled down into a portal.

- [Ify] Yeah.
- And Drusille charges forward

and dives into it herself.

- Same.
- [Gabe] You dive in?

- Yeah.

- [Gabe] Do you dive in?
- Yeah.

- You dive in?

- What? No, I don't want to.

- I grab her. I grab her.

- I don't want to.

- I grab her bandage.

- I'm like, I thought we
were going to go to building.

I thought we were going
to go to the dean's.

- So, here's what's going to happen.

Seven dives in holding your wraps,

and it's like toilet
paper going down a toilet,

and you just start unwrapping rapidly.

- I let myself go.

- Yes.

- So, there is just a
naked Tuti standing there,

except for the one bit
wrapped around your waist.

And then you just are
pulled into this portal.

- Oh no.

- And all of you find yourself

inside of a basement-looking area,

and there's something
large in the center of it,

pulsing, beating, throbbing.

You see a gigantic plant
with what looks to be like,

almost veins and arteries
going all around it,

the size of a car, that
goes upwards and out,

and you find yourself in
the vice dean's basement.

- Give me this back. Give it back.

- Time to just finish this.

And I just claw into it and rip it open.

- What? What do I have this pesticide for?

- [Gabe] Make a physical.

- Do I still have my pesticide?

- [Gabe] Yes, you do.
- [Ally] Yeah, yeah.

- All three of you have a pesticide.

- [Lily] Okay, great.

I pour it in, once he rips it open.

- Nine, eight and one and three.

- Okay, all three of you
make a physical check for me.

If you would like to, you
can use your brujeria.

- Oh, my brujeria.

- Two sevens and a one.

- [Gabe] Sevens and a one, got it.

- Two ones, four and a 10.
- I got a one, eight,

nine, and 10.
- Perfect. Okay.

Terry, you pull this thing open,

and the vines are innately trying

to pull themselves back to protect it.

But in that time, the
three of you run forward,

and with these basically like
almost pesticide like stakes,

you slam this thing in, and it injects in,

and you hear a horrifying shriek.

[Gabe shrieking]

As it starts to shrink, and shrivel

and turn to petals and ash.

And in the center of it,

dozens of people start to slide out.

You see Rahfee, you see
Fen, you see Jadwiga,

you see Cubie, you see Meyalth,

all coming out of this
strange bulb in the center.

- Do we see Ted?

- You don't.

- Rahfee.

- Yeah, yeah.

- I saved your b*tch a*s.

- Wow.

Drusille, how did you
know that this was here?

- And she walks over.

There's a sleeping Yui, who she cradles,

and Yui's eyes open, and
smiles gently up at Drusille.

Because I have learned that
I should pay more attention

to the things that matter to me.

- Real deep, real deep.

You just made out with Megan,
not even 10 minutes ago.

- You're poly.

- Yui looks over at Megan.

Oh.
- Yeah, so that happened.

- Wait, okay, that doesn't solve...

What?

- Do you guys remember
how you guys got here?

I'm still bandaging myself.

- [Ally] We're so sorry.

- [Ify] There's still a whole
shadowy figure type person.

- Our dean is still missing.
- [Ify] Yeah.

- [Lily] Was his head-

- The dean's head was not in there.

- What about Frankenstein's?

- Frankenstein's upper half is in there.

- Is in there.
- [Gabe] Yeah.

- But not the lower half.
- [Gabe] No.

Is his head in there?
- [Gabe] No.

- Okay.

- What do we do?

- And you hear footsteps above you,

but they sound like heavy footsteps.

Stomp, stomp, stomp.

- Honestly you guys, my dad is
a lot heavier than he looks.

- No.

- [Gabe] And you can see up.

You hear the footsteps walking towards.

And you hear like, jingling of keys.

- Oh, sh*t.

- And I think that's where
we're going to end this episode.

- Wait, what?

- Of Dimension 20: Shriek Week.

- [Ify] Wow.
- Wow.

- Thank you for joining us today.

And we will see you next
time for our grand finale.

[all howling]

- Good idea. I stand behind Megan.

- Wait. Yeah.

I'm kind of bulking, so I'm
definitely hide-behind-able.

- You can definitely see me through her.

- Oh yeah.

- The sexual tension
between them is palpable.

- [Dani] Oh my God.

- [Lily] Maybe he'll have his first kiss.

- Yeah.
- He's okay

being blown in public spaces.

- Yeah, what? No, what?

Cut this, this is so disturbing.

- Cool, God, this is
going to haunt me forever.

- [Ally] I add a 10.

[Ify spluttering]

- Yeah, no, listening to men
sometimes really is a turn off.

- Gabe does actually have
a gift for all of you.

- [Lily] Yes.

- [Gabe] Yeah.
- [Dani] What?

- Tomorrow, we're going to
go into Van Helsing's party.

- Okay. And it's just
a party? Nothing crazy.

- I promise you nothing.
