I rushed over to the hospital

and I was, like, sending milk back
from Children's Hospital...

any saved milk 'cause I don't leave him.

feeling the guilt of all the kids.

Yesterday, the guilt really hit
where I was like,

with the other kids."

And it was all we talked about,
literally, for 40, 50 years.

So, here we are now
talking about it again

and it's the other side of the process

and it makes me very sad.

and I didn't wanna wake up
tomorrow and go,

So, kicking off... what has it been like

partnering with Fabletics?

Well, it's honestly been amazing.

I just love what the values
are of Fabletics

and then just how included
I was in the whole design process

'cause I am really bossy
and I am really opinionated

and I know what I like

and I don't ever just wanna
put my name on anything.

I wanna make sure it's actually something
that I want to wear, that I feel good in,

and something that I feel
comfortable having people buy.

Trust me, when people dangle
a nice check in front of your face

and you're, like, supposed to do

Yes, that's so enticing, I get it.

When we first started this show,

I was so excited
anyone wanted me for anything.

I definitely took the money and ran,
you know, back in the early 2000s.

But you learn your lessons.

You also learn the value of your platform,
like, how powerful your voice is.

And I just don't wanna
throw away people's money.

One comment that we heard repetitively

is everyone wanted
to know your workout regimen.

I do circuit training
with cardio intervals,

so I'm always spiking
my heart rate up and down.

For a sh**t like that where I know
I'm gonna be showing a lotta skin,

I definitely work out much harder.

And then I always celebrate
with full, large pizza

- 'cause that's just the way it goes, um...
Wait, what flavor?

- Just cheese. I'm like...
Just cheese.

I'm a kid's menu
type of girl, just cheese.

But life's about balance,
so, like, there ya go.

When I was bigger,
if they had Ozempic,

I probably would've tried it
'cause I tried any other thing.

I tried any fad weight loss trend
except for the real thing

that actually works
and that's a lifestyle change.

So, I really wanna encourage healthiness

and not about the number on a scale.

I just think people should be active.

It do... I don't really care
what your size is,

and you should just be healthy
and stronger for yourself.

was just released from prison

for being involved
in the m*rder of her mother.

Her story gained national attention
after being sentenced to 10 years

for aiding in the m*rder
of her a*usive mother.

She's the most well-known person
that's just gotten outta prison.

Her mother had Munchausen by proxy,

who would shave her head and act like
she had cancer her whole life.

What illnesses did
your mom say that you had?

Um, asthma, epilepsy,

um, hearing impaired, vision impaired,

um, fed with a feeding tube,
paralyzed from the waist down.

How sick must you be as a mother

that you would let your child
have surgery for your own gain?

I-I think she-she really
wants to get involved.

She could be really impactful
with the... with, like, youth and abuse.

How long's she been out for?

Three weeks.
It's, like, a fascinating case.

Gypsy told Nicholas Godejohn
about the lifetime of abuse she endured.

They came up with a plan
to k*ll her mother

and Godejohn was accused of stabbing
her to death in their Missouri home.

She tweeted me and here I am.

So, I was like,
"I really... I'm-I'm super interested.

I think she can help,
but I'm fascinated."

- And I'll tell you how it goes after.
I-I love that.

I wanna see what
she wants to do in prison reform.

I heard she wants to get in it
and I can guide her of,

you know, exactly where to go
and how she can help.

- Um, when I got out,

I got to try steak for the first time.

So, yeah, it was actually pretty good.

I've been following your case

- for a really long time.
- Really?

So, like, I wouldn't want
to come and, you know,

really meet with someone that I feel like
can make an impact just for, like,

- the sensation of the case.
- Right.

I recognize that, like,
you can make a big difference

'cause you can really articulate
what you went through.

- Right.
- And how you can get through it,

- you know?
- And I give you massive kudos right now

because I think a lotta people
are afraid of touching me

- as a topic.
- Really?

Uh, because I'm too "controversial".

- Mm, girl.
- So, I give you, like, massive props

for being like, "Okay,
I'm gonna come do this right now.

Like, this is gonna happen."

When Gypsy posted
that she wanted to get into reform work

and wanted to connect,

I really wanted to guide her to use
her platform to really help people.

This has been a rollercoaster ride.

Um, I'm blessed to be given
a second chance

because when I was going through
what I was going through,

nobody ever talked
about Munchausen by proxy.

No one was ever
a guiding light for me.

You know, I look back on-on things
that I could've done differently

and, like, the one thing
that people always ask me is,

"Why didn't you just stand up?"

-"Why didn't you just..."
- Call the police or...

"Call the police
and this, that, and the other?"

And did you tell your dad?

I didn't because I didn't even
know his phone number.

- Yeah.
- My mom literally had put a block

on our relationship from him and I

and she created a fake Facebook account,
as me, talking to him.

Now, looking back on it, I'm like,

"I could've done things a lot differently

and it would've ended
with my mother being in prison."

- Mm-hmm.
- Did she deserve prison? Yes.

So, I can imagine that
you still really miss your mom.

- Right. It's so complicated, like...
- It's so complicated.

It-It really is.
There were times in prison

that I would just sit on the bed.

I'd play one of her
favorite songs on my tablet

- and I would just cry.
- What was one of her favorite songs?

It was My, My, My by Rob Thomas.

My mom was a huge Matchbox Twenty fan.

I would play some of their songs
and I'd just allow myself

that time to cry and grieve

and, sometimes, then I'd have
to do it in the shower too

- because, crying in prison...
- Yeah.

...you're so vulnerable,
especially women...

- Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
- ...they can be so catty.

Their first go-to is,
"Well, you k*lled her,

so why are you crying about it?"

- It's hard. You know, coming from a...
- It's so hard.

that was a child
in that situation, it is hard.

I can't even begin to even act like
I understand what you've been through.

- Mm-hmm.
- I really have no idea, you know?

- It's a long road, but you're here.
- Yeah.

I know it's, like,
a controversial subject,

I think, when people want

to help people that were involved
in something so violent.

But I do believe people
should have second chances in life

and I take her entire background
into consideration.

It's really crazy not to.

I think you can really make
such an impact on young people

- that might not know how to get out.
- Mm-hmm.

I've seen people,

not as horrific as situations
that you've been in...

- Mm-hmm.
- ...but I've heard amazing,

triumphant stories
of people that have, like,

lived such an amazing life...

- Mm-hmm.
- ...once they got outta their situation.

Right.

What I am left with now is,

you know, I did my eight
and a half years in prison,

um, so I paid my dues to the state.

Now let's see what
I can do with my new life

and my second chance.

Can I at least get that?

And you are so strong.

- Thank you. I appreciate that.
- You know? And I recognize that

- and a lotta people do.
- Thank you.

I'm doing my best to try
to make my family proud.

You know, there's, like,
an internal battle going on inside

because it's, like, I know
that I did something wrong,

I paid my consequences,

but I feel like half of everybody
still wants to condemn me...

- Mm-hmm.
- ...and the other half is rooting for me.

- Mm-hmm.
- Because I post a selfie

and then I'm expected to have this, like,
greater message behind it and I'm like,

-"I'm just having fun."
- Mm-hmm.

Yeah.
Sometimes you just have to, like...

post and I say, "And then ghost."

- And then, like, not...
- Post and ghost, I like that.

Post and ghost and not,
like, pay attention...

- Okay.
- ...to all the comments

and what's being said
because not everything

has to be such a deep message.

- I think the way you live your life...
- Exactly.

...is... moving forward,
is the deep message.

- Okay.
- And that's what I was, like,

so excited to talk to you about

because you've been
through hell and back.

This is what upsets me so much is

you know everything that
I have been through, okay?

When I got to prison,
I asked them if I could get therapy

and really deal with the trauma
that I went through.

I received a notice that I didn't
qualify for one-on-one therapy.

- Wow.
- Mm-hmm.

You would think that
they would wanna set you up

and give you all of the tools
that you would need

to be as mentally stable...

- Right.
- ...and to be as healed as possible

to come home into society.

Why wouldn't they set up
all of these programs?

It always blows my mind.

Just the simple fact
that she couldn't get therapy

while she was in prison
is a problem, you know?

And I think that, ultimately,
we wanna bring people home

that are rehabilitated

and how can we do that if it
doesn't start with giving them the tools

and having them go through therapy
before they get home?

How has re-entry been?

Re-entry's been a whirlwind for me.

- Yeah.
- Unfortunately, we are

living at a residence
and they're pressuring us

to put me on the lease
and I won't pass a background check.

- Mm.
- I think it's, like, the system is just...

- It's built to fail.
- It really is.

I wanna bring awareness.

I wanna be the person
that I wish I had to guide me,

but I feel very new at it...

- Mm-hmm.
- ...so I kinda feel like,

-"What are my resources?"
- Like, where do you go and how do you...

- Yes, like, how...
- Where... Totally.

Where do you begin?

I can totally help you with that
'cause I had no clue.

- Okay.
- And I think I figured out

the best team
that can possibly help people

and-and I'm happy
to introduce you to all of them...

and what to do to help.

I think she's, like, a perfect person
