on "90 day fiancé"...

so when did tania call?
when did you guys talk last?

oh.

if she's just with me
for all the wrong reasons,

it's not going to happen.

that's not something
that i want around my kid.

you know when you're taking care
of the baby and i'm at work,

you're not going to have
as much time for the gym

as you probably want.

emily:
i don't think sasha realizes

how different life
is going to be here.

your family can help me.

it's not their job
to take care of him.

oh, god!

angela: i'm waiting on
a phone call from michael

to tell me about the interview
for the k‐1 visa.

i mean,
are you kidding me?

michael, baby.

you and jasmin
can't live here together.

not acceptable.

blake:
my parents are traditional
and they're old school.

i can't stand here and tell you
i believe in god.

mike: i mean, if i'm getting
this now before you know it,

it's going to be

and you're just going
to be like, holy

i'm feeling pretty devastated.

this isn't what i planned for.

i'm so angry with
your family.

anna: mursel got off the phone
with his family.

he told them about the boys,
and they said he can't marry me.

so what are you
going to do now?

i'm really pissed and upset
that mursel is 38

and he can't stand up
to his parents.

my mom's picking up
gino and leo from school.

joey's at band practice,

so i won't be able to tell
all the boys at once.

hey.

hi.

what's going on?

mursel broke off
the wedding.

what?

why?

because his family
doesn't want us to get married.

what happened?

i told him he needed
to tell his family

because i don't want to be
married and then six months,

a year, or however long it
will take, they'll find out

and then they'll tell him
he has to leave me.

well, this is just
such bull

charlene: the one thing
that i've learned in my life

is you need
to put your kids first.

mursel, i mean, he's known
obviously about the boys

even before
they were engaged.

he should've just said
right off the bat ‐‐

actually when he was back
in turkey ‐‐ what was going on.

you know, "anna's got three
boys," blah, blah, blah,

and none of this
would be going on.

so you come here
for 90 days,

you break
my daughter's heart,

and now you're going to
go back to turkey

like nothing's wrong.

my heart.

so you are
going to turkey?

done with america,
done with anna,

done with the boys.

oof.

are you okay?

not really?

come here.

are you going to be very,
very sad when mursel leaves?

i'm sorry, leo.

you're breaking
a child's heart.

you okay, gino?

you thought we were going
to get married?

and we're not.

gino: marcel is very annoying
sometimes,

but i never thought
of mursel leaving.

i always thought of just mursel
staying all the time.

it's really depressing
because i thought

he was going to help me a lot
and he's now leaving.

charlene: i knew this was
going to happen.

i knew this was
going to end up

in some kind
of fricking tragedy.

and i'm done.

so we just need
to figure out

how to get him
the hell out of here.

i'm losing my mind right now.

i've been a hot mess
since michael told me

about the denial of his visa

and i've never seen
michael so upset.

we've been working
so hard on this.

it's devastating to think
this is the end of the road.

so my heart's crying, but i
can't think about pity party.

i'm getting ready
to fight like hell.

next step is now i need
to talk to my lawyer, lew,

because he's the only one
can make sense out of this,

because i damn sure can't.

may i come in, lew?
i'm sorry to barge in.

i am stressing out.

i'm having anxiety...

what have you got?
do something, lew.

he got denied.

let's see. give me just a sec
and let's see what we've got.

okay,
this letter is saying

that they are
going to recommend a denial.

we have not gotten
an official denial yet.

the denial
is probably coming.

now, what else michael
may have said in the interview,

i don't know.
i wasn't there, okay?

but we have
some options from here.

as soon as we get either
the request for more evidence

or the denial,

then at that point
we can appeal.

with our appeal, we can file
some more information,

and i know one of the things
that you've mentioned

that i thought about
is the amount of time

that you and michael
spend on the phone.

in doing this analysis,

especially as far
as a timeframe is concerned,

we are most likely looking
at having to do an appeal.

then, at that point, we can
provide some more evidence.

i believe that
the telephone conversations

that she's had with michael,

which includes staying way up
into the night with many,

many hours on the phone should
be taken in consideration.

given her timeline, the appeal
sounds like the best choice.

the good news
is that 60%

or so of the appeals end up
in granting of the visa,

but even if we go
through the appeal process,

we're adding
another six months.

if we appeal or if we don't
appeal, we can still reapply.

in other words, we can come back
again with that information.

oh, my god.

now, of course,
what that means

is that we've got
all that time again involved.

i am 54 this year.

i work hard, and if i want
to get married

in united states of america,
lew,

i have all the right
to do that.

all we want to do
is get married in america.

it's my tax‐paying right.

it's our choice whether
they're scamming us, using us,

or not, to bring them over here
if we can afford them.

it's that simple.

quit protecting people
that don't want to be protected.

i protect myself.

that simple.

say i go over there next week
and me and michael get married.

just hypothetically,
how long will the spousal visa

take to get approved?

that's still another year,
but you need to understand

that if you get married
in nigeria,

okay, then at that
particular point,

getting a divorce
can become complicated.

you have to be sure
about this marriage.

i mean, it ain't that i don't
want to marry him, lew.

of course i want to marry him.
i wouldn't be doing this,

but in my own ‐‐
my mom wants to be here.

i want to be
in my own country.

right.

i can't get married in nigeria
because my mom's sick.

we did the engagement
over there

for michael's mom,
and it's only fair

my mom gets to see
a part of this.

this is special to my mom
and i wanted my mom to be there.

i can't afford
to fly them over there.

it's not even thinkable.

i need for you to just be sure
that you're clear

with the timeframes
on each one of these options.

if we win the appeal,
then we're home free.

we're looking at maybe
another six months

before michael's here.
okay?

if we lose the appeal,
then we have two options.

one is to reapply
for the k‐1.

that would be starting
the entire process over

and we're looking
at 18 months or so.

okay.

if we go with the getting
married in nigeria option

and bringing him over,
still looking at 18 months,

maybe even two years.

me and michael want to start
spending our life together.

we want to have a family,
want to have a baby,

like i feel like me

and michael's been robbed
of our time together

and it's not fair.

i've done everything
i'm supposed to do.

what the

i need to get over there.
i guess i'm going to go

look on some flights.

we're going to make it
happen way or the other.

okay?

i got to go over there
to nigeria

and find out
what went wrong.

he's, like, broken.

i'm broken, too,
but i can't show it right now.

i got too much
to do for us.

it's not time for either of you
to give up,

that's the main thing.
no, i'm not giving up.

okay.
thank you.

just make sure
he's not giving up, too.

all right, i love you, lew.
thank you.

at this point, i don't know
what the next move is,

but right now my number‐one goal
of traveling to nigeria

is to be with michael
so we can figure this out.

traditionally, i know
that the bride's family

pays for the wedding.

is that something
that they do there?

are you think of that
just because

she hasn't been
talking much?

yeah.

how you doing there?

kerline: i'm going to be heading
to the kitchen

and i cooked
some caribbean food,

and you can
come help me.

today, yeah.
we could do that today.

jasmin, i'm ready, so you can
help me in the kitchen.

you sit there,
and i just want you

to take the peels
off the shrimp.

yeah, it should be
pretty easy.

so once you're
done with that

you can cut up
the onions for me.

looking at her, i can tell
them that jasmin is a diva.

she's definitely going
to have to toughen up.

you're getting
close there,

because i'm going to need
some of those.

right?

okay.

your eyes are good,
jasmin?

so jasmin, what are your plans
as far as working?

you got to have some type
of income coming in.

what is that exactly?
i don't understand.

do they pay you?

oh, okay.

it does concern me that jasmin
does not know

what she wants to do yet

because they're going to have
to have their finances together

in order to live together
and pay bills and pay rent.

so jasmin, have you thought
about the wedding?

oh, really?

traditionally i know that
the bride's family

pays for the wedding.

and then the groom's family
pays for the rehearsal dinner.

is that something
that they do there?

okay.

wedding can be
so expensive here

and that's something
to think about.

we do have a wedding plan
to set really quickly.

i do foresee
that jasmin's parents

will have to help out
with this wedding.

would you
like to taste it?

look, put your hands on,
jasmin.

right.

you have to taste it,
jasmin.

you have to say yes.

this is good. so now
we're going to let it boil.

can you get that
top for me?

you're welcome.

okay.

syngin: tania and i got
in an argument today.

i hate it when we fight and
we don't resolve the problem.

sucks.

can't do it over
the phone or skype.

it's just not the same
being person to person.

you know, i'm on my way to see
tania's sister and her husband.

you know, get out
of the house a bit.

just go and see
and talk to them

and spend time
with the baby and so on

so that tania can see
that i'm trying

to warm up towards a child,

because she's trying to get me
to kind of get used to children.

hello.

‐hello.
‐hello.

entrez‐vous.
hello, everybody!

how's it going?
what's up?

how you been?
how you been?

good and you?
good.

hi, little baby.

say,
"hi, uncle syng."

i come at
a bad time?

oh, no, no.
just eating dinner.

so, how have you been holding up
with tania being gone?

"so i know you're safe
and didn't get,

like,
kidnapped or something."

and she's like,
"i'll try my best.

i can't promise anything,"
you know.

it's like, come on.
it's quite simple.

i don't think she realizes the
effects that it's having on you.

you're not
a materialistic person.

yeah.

yeah, time.

yeah.

tiana: syngin seems a little sad
just because she's not ‐‐

i feel like she's just not doing
some basic‐level communication,

and not like "i need to know
every step of where she's going,

what she's doing,"
but like ‐‐

yeah, that's, like,
really good ‐‐

it's like safety.
like he's trying to make sure

that she's secure and
everything, like, that and safe.

i don't know like spending
more time with each other

during that 90 days
would have been really helpful

to have the extra

seems like really rude, and she
does that constantly, though.

we speak so little, like,
i'm just worried.

is she like maybe
getting cold feet?

or is she
being honest with me

like the way
exactly how she feels?

or is she just like,
"well, i got him here.

might as well marry the guy."
i don't know, you know?

because we're still kind of
figuring all that out.

i know
she really loves you.

do you maybe know like
if your sister

has ever cheated
on any of her boyfriends?

i know
she's been cheated on.

yeah.

were you thinking that
just because

she hasn't been
talking much?

yeah, a little bit.
i don't know.

i worry about tania
when she drinks a lot

because she can come
across being flirty.

i just worry about other people
might interpret that

and try their move
or whatever, you know?

i would
pop a wheelie

if she slept with
anybody except me,

just pack my bags and leave.

i'm not going to sit around
and sort that out.

okay, you ready?
yeah, i got it.

all right, you want to ‐‐
yeah.

open up.

open up.

open up.
oh, everything out.

tiana: i got to get a
picture of this for tania.

yeah.

he's getting it all over.

i know he does.

daddy will help you out
just a little bit.

there you go.

yeah, there's no answer
right now.

hmm.

well,
she's missing out.

yeah.

i think anny's expectations
are a little too high.

okay, wait.

anny, do you know
he's, like, poor?

is there anything that you
have been not telling me?

did you maybe lie
about something

on your background check
or something?

have you ever applied for
another k‐1 visa with anyone?

robert:
i'm still upset with anny.

i don't want to have
a threesome.

i'm not with that
party stuff at all.

and there's a lot
that i have to figure out,

but today i'm picking up
my little sister, robin,

from the airport.

i have a great relationship
with my sister, robin,

even though sometimes she gets
on my nerves like a baby sister,

but i love my sister to death.

hi, big brother.

hello, sis.

how are you?
i'm excited to stay with you.

what's happening?
no.

how you been?
oh, my god.

my little sister's personality,
she's outgoing,

she's fun,
she's full of energy,

she's super cool,
she's super dope.

hi, brother.
how are you and anny?

anny's good.
anny's good.

she can't wait
to meet you.

oh, i can't wait to meet her
in person finally.

i know, right?
yeah.

anny and robin talk together on

whatsapp a lot,
but they never physically met.

so i felt a little nervous
for them to meet.

i don't know yet.

you don't know?

nah.

i got to really think
things through.

i'm lost.

i don't know,
like, i love the girl,

but there's certain things
that i be thinking

about that
just makes me question

my relationship
with anny sometimes.

like what?

the way she acts,
it's like damn, like just chill.

he's just, in my opinion,
always picked the wrong ones.

but they went through all this
to be with each other,

so it has to be something there,
right?

y'all still
learning each other.

that's true.
so you know...

it's not going to be like
peaches and cream right now.

yeah, i get
what you're saying.

don't get me wrong, but i'm not
too sure if i know ‐‐

you feel rushed.
yeah.

and if i know her

to be honest,
i don't even know

if we're ready
to get married yet.

right there.

we're still up in the air.

i don't know what to do.

‐hey!
‐hey!

hi!

hey, i got you.

thank you.
see your auntie.

hi.
give your auntie a huge.

hi, baby.
how are you?

oh.

are you being good?

today? only today?

oh.

seeing her in person,
first impression is

my nephew adores her.

if they don't work, bryson is
going to be heartbroken.

so what do you think about
being here, do you like it?

oh.

so who paid for your hair,
your nails,

all your accessories?

oh, i know
that made you happy.

okay, wait.

anny, do you know
he's, like, poor?

mm?
who's poor?

you.

i ain't poor.
you ain't rich.

not really poor,
but, like...

poor to me is like
living on the street.

anny, it might take time.

he has to actually
go to work

and get the money in order
to have it and spend it.

i think anny's expectations
are a little too high.

he's not a rapper,
he's not an actor,

he's not a drug dealer.

he's a regular worker
and he's a single father.

he has a lot of obligations
outside of her.

she has to just give him
a little time.

so anny, do you feel like
he wants you here?

this is the place
where you supposed to be?

oh, gosh, why are you talking
to my sister about sex, yo?

let me just tell you
something.

anny's kind of like
a little rabbit.

she's horny all the time.

she wants to have sex
three times a day.

that's very important
to her.

so that's all i can say
in that area.

she asking you
for the three?

no, if she get it ‐‐

i get up at 5:00
in the morning.

your a*s is home
sleeping all day.

all right?

then i come home later.
i'm moving around.

it's not like
i'm driving around sleep.

anny's very demanding
when it comes to sex.

i'm good for sex friday
through sunday,

but anny wants it,
like three, four time a day.

like who got that time?
i'm not a machine.

y'all are going to
get it together.

if you feel like he can't give
you what you want right now,

do you still want him?

i ain't talking about
the sex.

i'm talking about
the whole overall picture.

do you think
you can do it?

what?

this.

robin: before today,
i thought their relationship

was all the way great.

but after being here
for a couple of hours,

it's not all that great.

they have to come
to a common ground and agree,

and even if they can't agree,

they have to learn
to agree to disagree.

so it doesn't have to
always be a conflict.

mike: being in the ukraine
visiting natalie, you know,

it's been really frustrating.

it seems like our differences
are really coming out

and it just seems like
they're taking an effect on us,

especially since yesterday.

we got in an argument
about religion

and us raising our children.
i talked to natalie.

it's very important
that we communicate

and we say what's on
each other's minds and stuff

and we have to work on it,
discuss it, you know?

i think there's just so much
stress and drama

and all this stuff
and we ain't got a visa yet.

i think step one is visa.

there's no 90 days
without a visa.

there's no kid without a visa.
there's nothing.

i decided to get up early today

to come down to the embassy
here in kyiv.

i left natalie at home sleeping,
so i wanted to come down

and see if i can find out
some information

possibly on our case status

or find out any information
would be great at this point.

i think this whole visa process
is causing tension between us.

it's just nerve‐racking,
you know?

we're not having a lot of
days together.

i don't want to argue
with natalie.

but between children, religion,

this whole k‐1 visa process,
it's just not been easy.

you know, we had our
expectations of dates and stuff

for her to come and everything.

it's just the unknowing,
like we don't know anything.

it's just anticipation
is just k*lling us.

tried to find out
some new information

and they said
it's classified information.

they can't give it to me
or natalie.

the case still says
pending on the website.

so they're still just
investigating our case.

i personally don't know what
the hold up

could be going to getting
the paperwork filled in.

went over the checklist
and stuff,

and i just put everything
i could into it

and felt pretty confident
about whole thing.

so at this point,
something serious

could be holding up the visa.

i think there's a reason
why it would say classified

and pending this long,

and it will come out
to light eventually.

it's getting kind of cold
out here.

let's go in here and get
a coffee. how about that?

well, after my trip
to the embassy,

i can't really put a timeframe
on how much longer

i could go
without any answers.

i mean, the visa
is weighing down on my mind.

this whole visa process,
like, i've just ‐‐

i don't know
what the hold up is,

what it could be,
paperwork side,

maybe natalie not
telling me something.

it's just in the back
of my head.

it's a question,
you know what i mean?

all right, baby,
this is our table.

yeah.

i think something
that natalie did in her past

is holding up the visa.

i just need to know
if there's anything

that's going
to slow us down.

get me an americano,
please.

yes.

perfect.

perfect.
that should warm us up.

i just got a lot
on my mind, baby, you know?

there's just a lot going on
with the visa and stuff.

it's just frustrating for me,
you know?

like, we just can't
get any answers.

you know, like,
i don't understand

what the hold up
could possibly be,

and just, you know,
i love you so much.

i'm tired of being away
from you.

and the only conclusion
i came to is...

...is there anything that
you're not possibly telling me?

i'm sorry.

you know, like,
i don't ‐‐

i'm just asking you
directly.

i mean,
is there anything ‐‐

everything's fine
on your side?

look, i mean, okay,
you seem a little frustrated.

it's just frustrating,
baby.

like, i don't want them
to come back and ‐‐

i mean, is there anything that
you have been not telling me?

did you maybe lie
about something

on your background check
or something?

did you ever apply
for another visa

and you just didn't want
to tell me?

have you ever applied for
another k‐1 visa with anyone?

i need to know.

have you ever
been to america?

i've had some wine.
so let's talk.

do you know
what a promise is?

betsy doesn't trust me,
and i think it's not fair.

you made a promise
in russia?

yeah.
to who?

to my exes.

how'd that go for you?

betsy:
do you drink very much?

not a lot.

did you use to get
drunk back in the day?

party?

i hate that you
ask me about this.

do i looks like i am?

i'm just
getting to know you.

woman:
you opened the wine.

yeah. do you want it?
little bit.

remember, my mom doesn't know
everything about your past.

nothing?

she knows you're divorced,
but i don't know.

twice?

just don't bring it up
if she doesn't ask.

cheers.
cheers.

cheers.

cheers.

so, have you started to think
about the wedding?

it's just
day number four.

but of course
we have to do.

emily said small,
just family.

will your family be able
to come for the wedding?

i don't think it's possible
to get a visa.

for russian,
it's so complicated.

will they be sad
to miss the wedding?

do they like emily?

yeah, they love emily.

it's the first fiancée
my parents love, actually.

they didn't love
your other fiancées?

no, no. yeah.

well, you're older now.
you're older and wiser, right?

yes.
i had experience.

and know better to make
better decisions.

yeah, it's true.

do they love her
because she's american?

no.
or because who she is?

yes,
because of her person.

they can see
i'm happy with her.

they can see my face.

and then i said, "mom, dad,
you know, emily's pregnant."

and they say,
"okay, it's time," so...

when you had
your other babies,

were you already married
to their mothers

or did you get pregnant
before the marriage each time?

before each marriage?

mm‐hmm.

they got pregnant
and they will marriage

and then the baby.

so that's the pattern, then.
what?

baby, marriage,
baby, marriage.

i just wonder
about these things.

it's okay.
i understand.

it's your opinion,
and you don't know me so well.

she don't like me.

she's a tough one.

i'm not sure about sasha's past.
his past doesn't matter to me.

what matters to me
is how he is with emily

and how he is
with the baby at this point.

all right, i am going to go
check on the baby.

does anybody else
need anything?

i think we're good.

all right, i'm going
to go check on her.

okay.

my mom doesn't want
to really offend sasha.

thank you.

but i've had some wine,
so let's talk.

i mean, it seems like you've got
the wedding‐baby part down,

but you don't have
the marriage part down.

a marriage is
a lifetime commitment.

do you know
what wedding vows are?

can you explain?

a vow is like a promise.
do you know what a promise is?

yes, we did in russia,
too.

you made a promise
in russia?

yeah.
to who?

to my exes.

how'd that go for you?

i had two wives,
and betsy don't understand

that emily's different.

she cannot see that's the real,
and i can see

betsy doesn't trust me.

always poking me,
and i think it's not fair.

we just have to know
how this time will be different

because emily's expiration
date is coming up, huh?

emily is different.

couples should love,
respect, and trust each other,

and if someone will break
this rule, that's all.

that's why i divorced twice,
because of respect.

because of respect.
yeah, mostly.

sometimes a couple can argue,
but it's not about

they still respect and love
each other and trust.

you can feel it,
you know?

i don't know.
you don't know, okay.

i know what it is.

i don't know.

this is my sister.

this is my baby nephew.

i don't want them
to be heartbroken.

you don't have
the best track record,

but i'm willing
to give it a chance.

so i guess we'll see.

what's up?

anna: i told mursel
if he wants to get married,

that he has to tell his parents
about you guys

and he finally did.

okay.

but they said
we can't get married.

i'm at the bar dancing.
i'm drinking some.

oh, my god.

i don't like to make promises
i can't keep.

i can't promise i'll call you
when i get home.

anna: joey's been at
band practice all day,

so he doesn't know
that mursel is leaving.

but when i go pick him up,

i'm going to tell him
what happened today.

joey.

what's up?

how was band tonight?

it was cool.

joey doesn't like mursel,

so i think joey's going to be
happy that mursel's going back.

joey might be sad for me,

but i know he'll be relieved
that mursel is going back.

where are we going to?

i'm going to
just pull over.

i want to talk to you
about something.

what's up?

i told mursel if he wants
to get married

that he has to tell
his parents about you guys.

because i wanted to make sure
that i didn't get into something

with you guys
like a secret.

really?

and he finally did.

okay.

but they said
we can't get married.

were they mad that you've lied
to him or something?

they think i lied to him,
but i didn't lie.

it was mursel.

so you're not
getting married?

as of right now,,
we're not getting married.

is he going to turkey,
then?

he hasn't gotten
any tickets yet.

i just booked
a hotel for him.

so he's not in
at the house tonight.

i don't understand.
are you mad at him?

well, yeah.
why?

because he's letting his family
make a decision on his life.

he's not standing up
for himself,

but he said
that's his family.

i think my life might go back
to normal

since he's going back
to turkey,

but i don't see
why he'd have to.

his parents are
in another country

and they don't
have to control him.

you going to be okay?
yeah.

you're probably
happy about it.

it's whatever.

it's whatever?

yeah.
you don't even care?

well, i told you it wasn't
a good idea from the beginning.

but you didn't listen
to anyone.

well, it was
a good idea for me.

why?

i love mursel.

i think
she did this to herself

because she could have
looked at it

from all the possible
outcomes and she didn't.

so i guess i'm annoyed

that she had to
put us through this.

i just want you to know
i love you, okay?

okay.

anna:
i don't think the relationship
was doomed from the beginning.

i just think ‐‐ i mean,
it went as expected.

joey doesn't want mursel
to be here.

he didn't like mursel.
he didn't want us to be married.

joey, of course, he's not
gonna be upset.

joey got his wish.
mursel's leaving.

tania: tonight, it's my last
week out in costa rica

and i'm just really excited
to have a really good time.

before i left the states,

syngin and i had a long talk,
and he knows when i'm busy

and i'm doing things
i really love,

i just don't have
all the time for him.

i can't give him
all my time.

this argument isn't going
to ruin my night.

i just want to go out
with the girls,

dance a little bit,
feel the beat

and just go through me
and just enjoy the night.

i love to flirt.

i love to talk with other guys
that i think are cute.

i mean, i can't really do
anything more than look,

but at least i can look.

hey.

okay. phew!

oh, my god.
that's syngin.

‐he's like, "whatever."
‐i can't hear you.

we can't hear you.
music is so high.

all right, hold on,
i'm going to leave the bar.

i'm going to leave the bar.

hi!

good, i finally got
a hold of you.

hold on, i'm covering your ‐‐
you look like a pirate.

what have you been up
to all night?

i'm at the bar. i told you
i came with the girls.

we're out, we're dancing,
we're having fun,

i'm drinking some.
i'm having a good time.

can you hear it
in my voice?

yeah, and you seem
all over the place,

just to be honest
with you.

i am. i'm ‐‐
i'm having a good time.

i'm out with the girls,
i'm dancing, listening to music.

i just want you
to be safe

and to kind of answer
my calls when i phone.

i answered this one,
did i not?

i want to always know
you're okay and where you are.

you always do.
go to sleep.

i just want to get back
to the girls.

i just want to get back
to dancing, is that okay?

i need one thing from you
before you go.

what do you mean?

i need you to say
you love me,

and i need you to let me know
when you're home.

i love you and i'll try my best
to let you know when i'm home.

- all right.
- it doesn't feel at all

like i'm asking
too much from you.

babe, how many times do
i call you when i go out?

zero out of 100 times.

you already know
i'm not great at that,

so why do you always
get mad at me

when i don't call you
when i get home?

because i never call you
when i get home.

i don't like to make promises
i can't keep.

i can't promise i'll
call you when i get home.

i'll try my best.

it's nothing new,
and that's the biggest part.

i can see if i'd have a habit
of calling him every night

but i don't.

you're drunk
in a strange country.

i'm not in
a strange country.

you can't be selfish
and just pass out

and think
everything is okay.

one, it's not selfish of me
if i pass out.

i'm not like, " syngin,
i'm going to pass out,

so i don't give
a about him."

it's not how that goes and
i've yet to give you a reason

that i'm not going to get home
safe, so let's not.

like, i've really given you
no reason to stress.

none. you want to stress,
that's on yourself.

good thing with phones
is i can schedule messages.

syngin, do you know
how irritating it is?

oh, oh,
you're stressing.

syngin! syngin.

syngin, pause.

all right. bye.

been with syngin for too long
for this bull

you already know what it is.
i love you,

i meet your needs
as best as i can.

i can't meet them all the way,

as he's not meeting
my needs all the way.

compromise.

i just need a little
bit more breathing room.

angela: i'm going over there
to come for michael

and see what really happened
in that interview.

i need y'all to look
for a little black book.

it has "passport" on it.

oh, my god.

i'm stressed out
right now already

because i'm late for the flight.

anna,
can you help me look, baby?

yes.

look,
there's a little book.

have you gotten in me‐maw's
suitcase right here?

were you in my bedroom
last night?

did you take it out of here
to look at it?

okay,
put it in your room?

no.
where'd you put it?

if you don't go get it
and find it, i cannot go see

papa michael
and bring him over here.

can you please go look for it?
please.

okay.

skyla, check in the seats
over there.

anna probably had
your checkbook.

it looks just like
your passport.

can you not stress me out and
just do what i ask you please?

i'm stressed out.

see, told ya.

‐i done looked there.
‐yes!

i done looked there.

i'm telling you,
that's the voodoo.

skyla:
you got it, now we gots to go.
your flight's in two hours.

that's the voodoo
i talk about.

do y'all see?
do y'all see?

i mean, i know it sounds funny,

but this has got
to be some voodoo

working against me and michael

because i've had nothing
but bad luck.

come on, we're late, skyla.

where is my passport?

i got it.
i got it.

damn.

well, what time
are we going to get there?

it's 2:18.

okay, we'll get there.

i'm coming back from nigeria
in two weeks.

uh‐oh!

you think he can talk you
into marrying him over there?

no, he can't.

skyla's worried about me
marrying michael in nigeria,

but i don't want
to get married in nigeria.

i want my mom and my grandkids
and my friends

to be able to see the commitment
i'm making marrying michael.

going to nigeria
to get married is ‐‐ no.

nervous.

i don't like to be rushed,
and i'm rushed.

skyla: without me being there
with mama in nigeria,

i am scared that she's going to
be impulsive and marry michael.

i'm so behind.

i lost it the days
when i'm running late.

i got voodoo on me.

mama's very vulnerable
right now.

she's very upset
about the visa denial,

and i think mama
would marry michael

because of the pressure
michael will put on her

just to have the reassurance

that they can be together
in america.

angela:
all right, give me loves.

bye, anna banana.

what is wrong with y'all?
i'm just going for two weeks.

i love you.
all right, i love you.

i'm going over there
to come for michael,

and i'm going to see
what's going on

and what really happened
in that interview.

michael might have in his mind

i'm going over there
to marry him.

i done told him no,
and i hope and pray

he does not stress me out
about that.

that's not
what this trip is for.

i'm going over there to find
out things right now.

i love you, bye!

love you.
i got to go.

good morning.

good morning.
welcome to law & visas.

just one moment.

thank you.

oh, good morning, sir.

please sit.

thank you very much.

welcome.

okay.

robin: i didn't want her
to try on a dress

that she couldn't afford,
fall in love with the dress,

and then she can't get it.

did he give you a budget?

‐hi.
‐welcome.

i'm dayton,
good to meet you.

‐nice to meet you. anny.
‐anny, great to meet you.

how are you doing,
how are you doing? i'm robin.

this is the first time
anny has looked at dresses.

you know, every girl wants to
try on dresses with her mom.

unfortunately,
her mom's not here,

but i told her i'm here.
i'll always be here for her.

these are going to be fit
and flare dresses behind you.

so that soft, relaxed fit,
kind of like that sexy look.

and then as you get back in this
room, it gets fuller in skirt.

so these are like
ball gowns.

robin: mermaid?
more like fitted mermaid.

a nice train.
okay, sure.

we'll have more mermaid
on this wall.

on each tag you'll see ‐‐
you'll see the size there

and the price,
as well.

that's going to be the price.
$1,359.

this one here
going to be $1,575.

is there a price range
you want to stay between?

is there a price range, budget
you want to stay between?

mm‐hmm.

we have to be realistic,
anny.

you cannot have
a millionaire dress.

ball on that budget, baby.
ball on a budget.

don't worry.

you will be happy,
i promise.

did he give you a budget?

is that what he told you?
seriously?

oh, no,
i was just asking.

okay, how about
a couple here?

these are going to be closer
in your price range, okay?

oh, i like that.

gorgeous.

i didn't want her
to try on a dress

that she couldn't afford,

fall in love with the dress,
and then she can't get it.

so if we stick
to what's in the budget,

then you can't be
disappointed.

all right, you ready?

come on.

you ready?

let me see.

one, two.

oh.

okay.

go ahead
and step forward.

i like...

mm‐hmm.
how do you feel?

it's not your size.

i like the style of it.
maybe if it was your size,

i would feel different.

honesty is the best policy.

ready to try
the next one?

yes.
yeah? okay, let's go.

i'll be waiting.

we're gonna try
this one next.

this dress is beautiful.

come on, sister‐in‐law.

where are you?
where are you?

ready?

oh, my god.

step up here.
take a look in the mirror.

snap picture. cheese!

yes, anny.

how do you feel
about this one?

it's so flattering
to your figure, too, right?

do you feel beautiful?
do you feel confident?

amazing.

anny looked like a million bucks
in that dress,

and it fit her
from the top to the bottom.

she looked awesome in it.

i love it.

i'm happy you invited me.

what's the matter?

don't cry.
don't cry.

it's okay.
no crying, no cry.

look, you're too pretty
to be crying,

and you look beautiful.

it's okay.

and your mom is here.

she can see you
in heaven.

she's here with us,
actually.

yes, yes, yes.

no, crying.

she got emotional.

it just made her
probably look forward

to actually walking down
the aisle,

seeing herself
in her dress.

i love it, anny.

i love it.

yes to the dress.

yes.

robin: it's kind of cool.

i gained a sister.

i'm stoked
i got to be here.

oh, look at anny.

you said no virgin.

like, it's too much.

this food is trash,
this should be in the trash.

betsy.
what?

you can't be throwing out food
when you don't have a job.

what should i do?

send him back.

tania:
last night i went out with
the girls and syngin and i,

we got into a big fight
and it was really frustrating.

syngin got
a little annoyed with me

because i didn't let him know
i got home safe last night.

i try, but i just ‐‐
i don't know,

i get home and i just pass out.

i'm not used to having
to check in with someone.

not used to it.

hi, babe.

all right,
i mean, what's up?

i feel like i've had
so many missed calls from you

since like last night.
it's just a lot.

you just don't understand

how, like, it gets my heart
beating when i wake up to, like,

so many missed calls
and messages.

like, it's too much.

i said i'd work on it.
you can't get mad at a promise

i never gave you.

i never told you i would.

you keep asking me for more
commitment than i can give.

i don't want to argue.
i understand it,

but it's also like
he just needs to get used ‐‐

he doesn't need
to just get used to it.

i do need to get better

at letting him know
when i'm home safe.

that's a one thing
he's asking me to do.

he's not asking me for a lot,

but i also need him
not to get so nervous

and worked up
and call me so much.

yeah, you're not my father.

you're not my father.

yes, i love that you care.

i love that you care,

but it turns into
a fatherly way sometimes.

like you have
to have that trust.

yes, i'm independent.

i travel, i like to go out,
i like to have fun.

i don't like to have to check in
with someone all the time.

syngin:
i don't accept that.

and i can't ‐‐
i feel like it's ‐‐

i can't ‐‐ i can't give you
everything that you need.

syngin needs a lot
of my attention,

and it's something
we're trying to work on

because i'm not used to

and i don't like giving
a lot of attention

and he needs
a lot of attention.

so it's like how do
we both find this ground

that we're both happy
and comfortable with?

okay.

‐bye.
bye, babe.

we're about like halfway
through this 90‐day process,

and it just looks like
we continue

to keep having more problems.

like, am i on the right path?

am i doing the wrong thing?
am i doing the right thing?

honestly, i don't know, so...

it's just...

oh, this 90 days.

emily:
hi, baby boy.

hey.

who's that?
hi, baby.

are you having
a good time with your auntie?

emily: it has been six days
since we arrived in america

and we are staying
with my sister betsy,

until we figure out where
we are going to settle down.

i don't know
what we're going to do.

you know, with three adults,
a baby, a dog,

there are way too many people
living in this apartment.

betsy: hey.

daddy.

what'd you get, sash?

some fruits and vegetables.

would do you like to
eat it

if i make salad?

sure, of course.

what are you doing?

what?
that's not open.

please,
let's just throw this away

for all of us.
i bought this for emily.

i don't want her
to eat this.

i wanted her
to eat healthy food.

you can't just throw away
unopened food.

you're calling this food?

sash, don't throw ‐‐
don't throw away the food.

come on.

okay, just ‐‐ i don't want you
to eat this food, please, emily.

sash, emily can eat
what she wants.

she's feeding your baby.
she needs ‐‐

the baby should ‐‐
she needs calories.

but you're eating this
so often.

i can make food.
i can cook whatever you want.

what did you throw away?
these are from vegetables,

baby, they're not
even that bad.

this is not vegetables, baby.
this is vegetables.

and this is vegetables.

you didn't eat this food
in russia.

doesn't mean
you throw it away.

there's people
that are hungry.

this food is trash.
this should be in the trash.

hey, whoa, whoa, whoa.

for real,
i'm done of this all.

you're just shaming her
for her weight gain.

that's what it is.
no.

sasha.
do what you want ‐‐

what do you want to do?

you guys don't have jobs yet, so
it's stupid to throw out food.

sasha:
no, it's just your excuse.

this food deserve trash.

that's rude.

you deserve the trash.

betsy.
what?

okay.
i heard you.

sasha: i can see that betsy
do not like me,

and i feel trapped here

because i cannot
do anything i want.

i have to ask betsy,
and right now,

i feel like i'm in the prison.

every day is becoming worse.

betsy, he's just tired.
he has had a hard time here.

he's used to having freedom,
and, you know,

working, and, you know,

we finally get to go to
the store to buy what he wants.

freedom doesn't mean
freedom

to throw away the food
in my house.

i know. i know.

i know that it was bad
what he did,

but, i mean, he's just been
in an awful mood lately.

but i'm not going to just
sit here

and watch sasha tell you
what to do all the time.

he does it ‐‐ it comes
from a place of love.

really.

says everyone in an unhealthy
relationship ever.

what should i do?

send him back.

i'm feeling really stressed
right now

because betsy and sasha
are not getting along.

this is not how i imagined our
first week in america would be.

and i still don't know
what we're going to do.

and i'm just ‐‐

i don't know.

betsy, look, i know that
we've been encroaching

on your space here.

i feel like, you know,
you're getting tired of us

and i don't want us
to hate each other.

i just think maybe it's time
we got out of here.

i don't want this
to be awkward.

i just want you to know
i'll be here for you

when and if
it doesn't work out.

because i need to
bring it up.

it's a logical explanation.

it's logical.

please anna.

have you ever applied for
another k‐1 visa with anyone?

i need to know.

have you ever
been to america?

because i need to
bring it up.

it's a logical explanation.

it's logical.

no, i need to ask you.

on everything?

i need to make sure that you're
telling me the truth

and everything.

did you ever apply for another
visa with some other guy?

were you dating
some other american guy?

have you ever been to america?
i mean, any of this stuff?

mike:
i didn't want to make her upset,
you know, or press are too hard,

but, i mean,
i just wanted to know

if there was anything
holding up our visa.

i just felt like, yeah,
it needed to be said.

but, you know, it was my
intention to put blame on her.

i didn't want to, you know ‐‐

i didn't like making
her feel that way.

look, i'm sorry
for pressuring you like this.

i didn't mean to
frustrate you, okay?

it's just the stuff's
on my mind, and i have to ask,

and the frustration's just
piling up, you know what i mean?

like, every day, like,
i think about

am i gonna
hear a phone call,

you know,
you asked me about it.

it's just a lot, and i just ‐‐
it's a lot of pressure

and it's just a lot
to deal with.

i mean, that's all
that's really bugging me.

i wasn't trying
to ruin our night.

let's go home.

come on.

i know.

next time on "90 day fiancé"...

angela: i can't believe
when you went to the interview

you didn't mention we had
an engagement ceremony.

if he listened to me,
he might've gotten his k‐1.

put your damn pride down
and let me help you

get this visa!

emily:
our savings are drying up,

so i think it's better
if we get married asap.

yeah, sure.

"yeah, sure"?

that's all you have to say
about us getting married?

i put on the mask and i have
this whole persona.

make some noise!

i just ‐‐ i hope she's here
for the right reasons.

we don't know
what you do.

do you feel like he has
more power over you

than you do over him?

i just think that you're not
the house servant.

i'm getting to the edge.

jump over it.
do what you want to do.

syngin.

tania.

jumping over it means
leaving you the behind.

so if you want me to jump over,
i'll do it.

yes, i will syngin.

oh, my god,
you're crazy.

i want to punch you.

anna: if he really loved me he
should've stayed here with me.
