NARRATOR: Eric became the second head of household.

Which was so pathetic.

Oh god, I hate her.

NARRATOR: He used the power to secure

his position in the game.

If I can keep you safe this week,

I ask for one week of safety.

NARRATOR: Some house guests believe Michael took

things too far with the women.

And I'm like, stop.

And then he'd try to kiss me again.

Keep your paws off of the girls,

except for the girls who want your paws on them.

NARRATOR: Turning Eric and most of the house against him.

What about when you were kissing on their necks?

That could easily be considered sexual harassment.

NARRATOR: And a tense nomination ceremony.

Janelle, Michael, I nominate you both.

NARRATOR: Eric singled out his biggest threats.

Janelle, I totally underestimated you as a player.

Eric and I had formed somewhat of an alliance right

from the beginning, but he's broken

I could tell that he was a little worked up.

that I have been since I've become head of household

in a short timespan.

And his leadership skills are only strengthened

by the weaknesses of others.

I have to choose somebody for the upcoming veto competition.

Obviously, Kaysar is my strongest ally.

It's obvious that if I pick Kaysar

and we win, and he uses it on me, we're both safe

and the game goes on.

There's a time for diplomacy and there's a time for action.

And I think this is a time for action.

Face it.

Either you and me are leaving.

If you and I win, the tide might turn in our favor.

Either way, dude, it's not making

you any less of a target.

I want to help Michael.

But by helping him and putting myself out there,

it would make me a target.

I told you, we need to stay out of this

for public relations' sake too.

I think everybody else kind of just walked off.

I'm totally excited to use the gym for the summer

but the techniques that some of these people

have used in order to get me evicted are pretty pathetic.

That guy has really brought up certain things in this house.

I don't know how long this perception

has been taking place.

I don't how much of it is fabricated,

exaggerated, misconstrued.

Big Brother got everybody separated.

And then Ivette and Kaysar got into a discussion

about this whole situation with Michael.

And Ivette just started going off.

So when we sat in the gold room and you and I got it

the first night, I sat there, and I

told you how to play a game.

And you looked at me, and you said to me,

you know what Ivette?

That means a lot to me.

After the incident, once everybody calmed down, and got

their emotions in check, we were all called by Big Brother

into the living room for a meeting.

And everyone was given a warning.

I just want everybody in this room to realize,

including Michael, that at no time

would I have ever become physical with somebody.

And I want to be absolutely crystal clear on that.

I think everybody got a good--

got a chance to express their feelings,

talk to whoever they needed to talk to.

Since we're all sitting here, can I say something?

One of the things that's been bothering me,

which is this first person says to another person

tells to another person.

I don't know the source.

I don't care.

I just want to make a point.

I have no problem with moving forward.

I think that's definitely the thing to do.

I went up to Ivette and apologized for getting upset.

What being a man is all about is knowing when you're wrong,

when you're really wrong, and being able to admit it.

You know, there's a lot riding on this veto competition

for them, because they want to make sure they seal the deal,

get Michael out no matter what.

Only six will participate in this competition.

The head of household, the two nominees, and three

other players of our choosing.

As HOH, I will pick first.

My partner in this will be James.

The reason why I picked James is

because James believes that we have an alliance, plus he

is a strong player.

I'm going to pick Rachel.

Rachel.

She's a strong competitor, and I think that she

has a chance of winning it.

Howie.

All right, Howie!

I did ask Kaysar.

He felt it was in the best interest for everybody

if I picked somebody else.

And so I decided to go with Howie.

I have to pick the hostess with the mostest, my boy Beau.

So--

The first thing we saw were two zip lines.

Apparently, you're going to be going

back and forth in the air, holding on to dear life.

Zip lines, baby.

We got this.

I'll die before I let somebody else win that power of veto.

Because it's so important, for my game personally,

that Michael's got to go.

Who's ready for some high flying

action in our next veto competition

called high and dry?

Whoo!

Each team will play by clipping

themselves to the steel beams.

Each person will have their own track.

The object is to scoop water from one platform,

fly across the yard, and pour it into the veto

tank on the other platform.

As the water rises, so will the ball that's floating inside.

Once a ball pops through the hole on top,

you must run it back to the other platform

and put the ball into the veto tube.

The power of veto will go to the person who

can retrieve the ball and place it into the veto tube

the fastest.

So fly steady, but fly fast, and hopefully

you won't drop your ball last.

The goal of it was to get the best time.

I do not like heights.

It's going to get funky.

On your marks, get set, go!

We had to grab a bucket of water,

take a leap to the other side, and fill

that bucket to get the little ping pong ball up to the top.

Be careful.

It's slippery.

Good!

Cappy, you're losing some waters.

Because I was losing a lot of water out the sides,

and it wasn't going in the holes.

Come on.

That's OK, James.

That's OK.

And then all of a sudden it just--

the light dawned over marble head

here and used the neck of it.

[cheering]

The other way!

Upside down!

[cheering]

If you can't do this, just go for more water.

[cheering]

Yeah, yeah, yeah!

Now you got your hands on the ball, see?

Throw that bucket.

I kicked Eric's a*s.

To beat Eric made me feel good.

Michael and Howie, they were the second group to go.

And oh my god, I was so nervous.

It is important to win the veto competition,

because it's the difference between me staying and going.

On your marks, get set, go!

I realized that it was a game not so much of speed

but of precision.

I was basically doing what the Captain

Marvel and Superman do--

three steps and a leap, boom.

Come on, Howie.

My water was getting spilled.

I guess I was too fast for my own good.

I think I did very well in the competition.

I was quite a way ahead of Howie.

I'm hoping Janelle does her very best.

I wanted that veto.

I just heard everyone cheering for her,

and it just made me more focused and more mad.

This game was exhausting.

And the harness started rubbing in areas

that you don't want it to rub.

Rach, take the time to make the push.

I carried it very steady and slow

and made sure that I got there without spilling any of it.

I noticed that Rachel was getting frustrated.

I could see a lot of worried looks on the girls' faces.

Especially Ivette.

She looked like her face was turning green.

Good job, girls.

But I wasn't quite sure how quick any of the six players

had done it.

The tenseness increased when the damn scoreboard came out.

Awesome job, guys.

[cheering]

I'm going to begin by revealing

the slowest times first.

I'm going to start off with Eric.

His time, nine minutes, three seconds.

Howie was next.

Seven minutes, seconds.

Rachel, Eight minutes, seconds.

Now I'm going to unveil the fastest times in each round.

Janelle, Six minutes, seconds.

Wow!

[cheering]

Janelle beat Howie.

Janelle beat Rachel.

Janelle beat Cappy.

So at this moment, I'm like, oh!

Michael?

Six minutes, seconds.

[applause]

James?

Six minutes, seconds.

Wow!

You could just feel the relief when

James won the power of veto.

A giant weight had been lifted off of our shoulders.

James, you are now the beholder

of the golden power of veto.

Congratulations.

[cheering]

This was good for the fact that, you know,

it gives people a little faith in me.

But I'm more scared of Janelle than Michael, you know?

Probably five times more.

It makes me mad, because they got what they wanted,

and I don't like it when people I

don't like get what they want.

I felt they could have gone maybe a little faster.

Had it gone the other way, it would

have really changed the game.

We'll have to see what happens.

Michael is a threat to the harmony in here.

But there would be some pros to vetoing Michael,

just so we'd get rid of Janelle.

Because I think she's a more fierce competitor.

Everybody to the living room.

It's time for the veto ceremony.

All right.

Plan is, James is not going to use the power of veto.

But as we've seen in the Big Brother house, people,

decisions, strategies change like as quick

as we change our underwear.

All right.

I want to thank everyone for joining

As you all know, Mike and Janelle have

been nominated for eviction.

But by winning the contest yesterday,

I've been given the chance to veto one of the nominations.

And first I'd like to give Janelle a chance

to say why I should save her.

Well, James, if you did use the power of veto

on myself or Michael, it might upset

certain people in the house.

So just do whatever is in your heart.

Michael?

Same.

Same way.

All right.

My decision is not to use the power of veto.

I think it's in my best interest, as well

as some of the other people's best interests,

that I not use it.

So veto ceremony is adjourned.

I have a number of people that are my biggest threats.

They're just conspiring to kick me out of the house.

I know they are.

But I'm not going to let that happen.

Michael didn't say two words, and that's just fine with me.

He's said and done enough in this house.

James respected the decisions that I made,

and Michael's going to be walking out that front door.

If Michael is eliminated, I will fight like hell

to avenge his eviction.

I'm just going to stay and fight.

This little pseudo family that Eric has going on

is going to fall apart.

The fact is there's only place for one winner in this house.
