Come on. School's out for the weekend.

Let's do something.

Baseball, the beach...

Look what's coming. It's Fenderman.

Hi, guys. Hi, Cindy.

[scoffs]
What are you supposed to be, Fenderman?

A Martian janitor?

Shows what you guys know.

I'm a Ghostbuster.

Sure, Fenderman.

And I'm Inspector Gadget.

[all laughing and mocking]

Come on, Willy. Let him alone.

It's only Kenny.

Besides, it's a pretty neat costume.

It's not a costume. It's a uniform.

All official Ghostbusters wear it.

Yeah? And what makes you official,
Fender-bender?

I'm a full-fledged Ghostbuster.

I enlisted.

[all laughing]

I'll show you. I'll prove it.

I will.

[all jeering and laughing]

[Ray] So, what's it supposed to be?

[electricity crackling]

Is this what you wanted to show Peter?

Yes, if he ever gets here.

It's an ecto-aroma eliminator.

You know, that awful residue odor

that's left behind by manifestations of
class three and up?

The stink? Yeah, so?

Well, this gets rid of those odors.

Oh, sort of a "ghost room deodorizer?"

It'll be a while
before this prototype is ready.

It's still experimental, Peter.

It could be dangerous.

[Peter] OK, OK. Here I am.

I hope this is important.

Staff meetings always are.

Now, as I was telling Ray...

[Janine over speakers] Dr. Venkman.

Dr. Venkman,
you have a visitor in the lobby.

Sorry, guys, a paying customer.

Been nice seeing you.

Dr. Venkman, this is Mr. Fenderman.

Because you guys are the best.

in the whole city thinks so.

I sort of told my friends
I already was a Ghostbuster.

They just made fun of me.

Can't you give me some kind of assignment?

There you go, kid.

is a free guided tour of our headquarters.

of ghostbusting equipment?

I guess so.

This should be OK.

Gee, thanks.

And this is how we get around, kid.

I can't find it.

I gave it to Kenny, as a souvenir.

I'm sorry to hear that, Peter.

It means the boy is in serious danger.

But it was just a little box.
What's the harm?

[Ray] Big booms can come
in small packages, Peter.

If that boy pushes the wrong button,
it could destroy an entire city block.

So, let me get this straight,

the isotope in the...
Whatever it is, is unstable.

Ecto-aroma eliminator. EAE.

Don't quibble, Egon.

You're the one about to
give a whole new meaning

to the word, "Boom-box."

The EAE starts out fine,

but as the ectoplasmic material
is absorbed

and the internal reaction builds,

it could overload and explode.

And once it's turned on,

it can't be stopped.

Could we track it with a Geiger counter?

It's possible, but the odds of finding it

in a city this size, before it blows...

It doesn't matter.

We've gotta try and find that kid.

If anything happens to him...

[tires squealing]

[Egon] This machine
just isn't sensitive enough.

You mean, you can't locate him?

Oh, we'll be able to find him certainly.

As soon as the device explodes,

we'll have no difficulty
in tracing the readings.

[Winston] Egon, sometime soon,
you and I must have a chat

about your sense of priorities.

[beeping]

OK, take that.

[clicks]

Maybe it would help if I turned it on.

[buzzes]

[beeping]

Class 4.

Must mean there's a Class 4 ghost here.

So that means
I set the Class knob to four.

Then, when I spot the ghost,
I hit the intake button

and it sucks them in.

I'll show 'em, that Willy Bradford.

I'll bust me a whole bunch of ghosts.

Then even Dr. Venkman will like me again.

[beeping]

Ah!

All right, you ghost. Come on out!

[growling]

[in a hoarse voice] Ghostbuster!

Ah.

I'm picking up a radiation increase.

[tires screech]

[ghost] Ghostbuster!

Ah!

Kenny! You in here?

Dr. Venkman. Here I am. Up here!

Good! Stay there and be our lookout.

OK, men. Let's do some damage.

Well, we followed 'em in.

They must be here.

There they are! Get 'em!

[ghost] Ghostbuster.

Ghostbuster.

I don't like the sound of this.

As welcomes go, I've heard better,

warmer, more human.

One, two, three...

Fire!

How?

How did he know we were here?

Something's not right.

I better check this out in
Tobin's Spirit Guide.

This doesn't look good.

There's a single intelligence

directing the spirit activity
in this house.

You mean like a, uh, Ghost General?

So, it's simple.

Zap the commander
and the rest of the army is easy.

I'm afraid that's too dangerous, Peter.

With that much
psycho-kinetic energy at its command,

we could be in serious trouble.

It might be able
to blow off the containment unit.

But if a powerful enough
kinetic force could blow it apart

upon being trapped,

the conditions in the containment unit
would prevent it from reforming.

How powerful a force
would it take to splatter this thing?

Near atomic levels.

I have an idea.

Kenny, you still have that souvenir
I gave you?

Yeah, I've got it right here.

Well, hang on to it. We're gonna need it.

What do you have in mind?

Don't ask. You'll only worry.

Come on.

OK, guys. Careful now.

Stand by, Kenny. Hang in there.

[buzzing rapidly]

[growling]

Ghostbusters!

Fire!

Kenny, throw that gadget at the light!

Duck!

[ghost screams]

A brilliant plan, Peter.

The blast totally discorporated the thing.

[chuckles] I didn't know
you had it in you.

Hey, but I have to admit,
I couldn't have done it without Kenny.

So, Fenderman, you're still here.

Sure. In fact, we're just wrapping up.

Me and the guys just finished
trapping a bunch of ghosts.

Oh, yeah, sure, Fender-bender.

Hey, thanks for the help, Kenny.

Huh?

Yes, it was a good night's work.

No problem, guys. Glad to help.

-Whoa!
-Gosh!

Gee!

Why don't you come by
sometime next week, Kenny?

We'll have some fun.

You bet!

[cheering]

Great kid that Kenny, huh?

Mmm-hmm.

Hey, do you think you could
introduce me to them,

huh, Kenny?

We'll see.
