Christopher Robin
what's going on?

It sounds like a w*r in there.

Uh-oh. It's Mom.

When I get up there, young man,

you'd better have a good story.

Oh, no. How am I going
to explain this mess?

Uh, perhaps if you tell her
what happened to us out there,

she won't mind so much
what happened to you in here.

Of course. She'll shake
her head very sadly

and say "Oh, Christopher Robin,
your poor, poor friends.

"A little mess
like this is nothing

next to what they
went through."

I don't know if it'll work.

Sure it will. Hoo hoo!

I'll give you
every gruesomish detail.

I think I can tell
the story better,

thank you very much.

Storytelling is what
tiggers do best.

I'll tell him.

Um, uh, since the story
did begin with Pooh,

perhaps Pooh should begin.

I would be pleased to.

Ahem.

It all began, you see...

as I was settling down

to a nice after-breakfast
yet before-lunch

and nowhere-near-dinner
smackerel of honey...

...when suddenly
I began to suspect

I had a visitor.

And a rather hungry
visitor at that.

Excuse me.

Oh, bother.

I said, and I began to think.

Perhaps I had better
be more clever

about how I eat my honey
from now on.

But I'm afraid the bee

was a bit more clever than me.

Oh, bother.

Oh, bother.

It seemed the bee

was eating me out
of house and home.

Ah.

Not to mention honey.

And then I had a thought.

I thought perhaps...

If I eat out of house and home,

maybe the bee won't bother me.

And then is when
Pooh came to my house.

And I brought my honey with me.

The bee could never
possibly find me here.

Unless I left the door open.

Oh, bother.

My house!

There. I did it.

Yes, Pooh.
You certainly did.

What happened next?

We needed to find a home

which the bee had not yet found.

Take that! And this!

And this and that!

Say, buddy bear, seen any
bouncy, beady-eyed bees

go buzzing by?

But Tigger's home
was not that home.

So what did you do then?

We decided to try...

My house.

But I certainly didn't
want them there

making my home unlivable

just because of some
silly little bee.

Oh, my.

My home! My beautiful...

My...

Hmm. House guests.

And it was then
that I decided...

There's only one way to get
rid of that nasty little pest.

We're going to w*r.

Gasp. w*r.

w*r?

Heh heh heh heh heh.

w*r?

w*r?

w*r.

We are happy, peaceful creatures

who have always led
happy, peaceful lives.

And no pipsqueak bee
is going to change that.

Uh, perhaps if we
ask very nicely

"Might you not bother us
so much, if you please,

little bee?"

No, Pooh boy.

I know how stripety
critters think,

and I wouldn't trust them
with the time of day.

Say, what time is it anyway?

Half past a full moon.

Whew. Time flies

when you're going to w*r.

Well, better get to work
on my secret weapon.

Oh, what secret weapon, Gopher?

Eh, can't tell. It's a secret.

Now let's get ready
for that bee.

There were plans to be planned,

maps to be mapped.

Charts to be charted,

forts to be fortrified.

And bees...
to be beat.

Let no one by unless
they give the password.

Excuse me, Rabbit,
but what is the password?

Ha! Do you think I'm
that easily tricked?

There is no password.

My first task was
teaching the troops

to know their enemy.

And, uh, what is this, Tigger?

A horsie having a picnic

in the mud on
a Thursday afternoon.

No, no, no, no, no.
It's a bee.

And what is a bee, Piglet?

A very small creature
with wings which likes honey.

No! The enemy.
A bee is the enemy.

And what do we do
if we see a bee, Pooh?

We say "Why, look,
there's a bee."

No, no, no.
We sound the alarm.

Sound the alarm.

Oh. And he seems to have
brought along some friends.

We will not be outdone
by a few silly...

...bees!

This was it, my moment to
remain calm and take charge.

Bees! Thousands of them!

There was only
supposed to be one!

Only one!

Like a good general,

I ordered my troops
to their post.

Bees! Millions of bees! Aah!

Run for your lives!

Charge!

Remember, troops,

it's more than Pooh's
honey we're defending.

It's our very way of life.

Don't sh**t till you see
the yellow of their bellies.

Oh, bother.

Yes, sir.

This baby's gonna give that bee

a thing or two to think about.

Are you all right, Pigalet?

Speak to me.
Say a few syllabibbles.

Oh, d-d-d-d-d...

I had to ask.

Heh heh heh heh.
Almost done now.

I was keeping track
of our front lines

and planning the strategies
for new victories.

Private Pooh has retreated
to the left bunker.

- To the left?
- Right.

To the right?

To the left is right.

Well, if the left is right,
who's left?

Pooh's left back at
the right of the front.

The back of the front
or the right of the left?

King me. Hoo hoo hoo hoo!

One secret weapon coming up.

Heh. Now we're going
to see some real action.

The enemy was closing in.

These were the final moments.

The weight of command
was on my shoulders.

The fate of the Wood
was in my hands.

It was the greatest test
of my leadership abilities.

Faster! Aha! They're coming!

Oh, hurry! Oh, please hurry!

Ready! Aim! Fire!

Is it true, as I've heard,

that what goes up
really must come down?

My leadership instincts told me

that time had come to...

Retreat!

Then what happened?

That's when I knew
there was no choice.

We were
forced to... surrender.

And the bees, you see,

had the same idea.

You both surrendered?

It seemed to be
the friendly thing to do.

And we decided that,

since together
we had made the mess,

together we should clean it up.

Christopher Robin,
I'm coming up there,

and I'd better not
find that room in a mess.

It's not, Mom.

Tell him what
happened next, Pooh.

Then, with everyone so happy

that the w*r was over,

I suggested we celebrate.

Uh, perhaps with a small
smackerel of honey?

Uh, here we go again.

To your battle stations!

Hoo hoo hoo hoo!

Oh, dear.

Oh, bother.

Christopher Robin!

Another smackerel,
if you please.

Thank you very much.

Another honey dream.

They're my favorite.

Oh, bother.

My dream must have had
a midnight snack without me.

I shall just have to eat
an extra-big breakfast

to catch up.

No honey!

A surprise! And just
in time for breakfast.

There's nothing like starting
the day with a happy ending.

This honey seems a bit bashful.

Come out, come out,
wherever you are.

This particular honey appears
to have been collected

by some very sticky bees.

I'm sure it really
wants to come out.

It just needs a bit of coaxing.

I think I have the upper hand.

Whoo!

Then again, perhaps not.

I think this surprise is much
more surprise than it is honey.

This certainly is beginning
to be a very strange day.

Oh, my.

Honey!

Lots of honey.

April fool!

No, you're not.

You're Christopher Robin.

Silly old bear.

I mean it's April Fool's Day.

You know, when everybody gets
fun tricks played on them.

It seems someone has already
started playing them on you.

I'd better get home and see

if there's any April Fool
tricks waiting for me.

Hmm. I wonder
if this April Fool

is someone to be
afraid of or not.

I think I shall have to ask
him right after breakfast.

Or perhaps lunch.

Help! P-P-Pooh!

Oh, my.

That "Help! P-P-Pooh!"

sounded very much like Piglet.

Oh, dear.

Piglet, you called
for help and for Pooh.

We're here.

Please come in, Pooh Bear,

if you're sure
you're not a flood.

Are you here, Piglet,

or just your voice?

I'm here, Pooh.

Why are you so very up, Piglet?

Because down is so very wet.

Oh, I see.

Don't I?

But, Pooh, when I
woke up this morning,

I found out that my house
was under water.

Uh, that's funny.

It didn't seem to be under water

when I came in.

It didn't?

Oh, dear. Look.

Oh, my.

A-And over there.

Why, you're right.

We are under water.

But you came in
from the outside,

and you're not wet.

Perhaps it's not flooding
everywhere outside.

Let's go see.

This outside looks dry.

Are you sure?

Yes, Piglet.

We shall just have to look
for another outside

to find your flood.

Either your flood is
a very dry flood, Piglet,

or it is hiding somewhere.

Oh, Pooh, come back inside
the close the door.

Oh, d-d-dear!

Don't worry, Piglet.

I shouldn't?

Your floods are really tricks.

You see, there is
this April Fool.

He likes to trick you,
and this is his day.

He certainly tricked me.

In fact, it was
all rather scary.

Hmm. I go think we should ask

whether these are
"Thank you very much" tricks

or the "Look out!" kind.

Oh, yes, Pooh, please.

I'd rather not be scared

if it's not
absolutely necessary.

But where will we
find the April Fool?

Now where would an April
Fool feel most at home?

Rabbit always says foolishness
is what tiggers do best.

Don't worry, Piglet. There's
nothing scary at Tigger's.

Gangway! I've been spotted!

Now there's something
scary at Tigger's.

- Run, Piglet!
- Yipes!

Oh, what happened, Pooh?

I'll tell you what happened.

It isn't a pretty story.

I bounced out of bed to admire
myself in the mirror...

a good way to start any day...

and gasp, there they were!

The who were... was?

Spots! My beautiful
stripeties

nowhere to be seen.

How can I be a tigger
without stripes? Hoo hoo.

It's hippoposterous.

Now you'll have to call me Spot

or... or Rover...

or Prince.

Oh, the shame of it all.

Excuse me, Tigger...
I mean Prince...

but did you notice that
your spots have a zipper?

Well, hoo hoo hoo,
what do you know? Hoo.

It was only
some cuddly-type PJs.

I knew it all the time.
Hoo hoo.

Then you already know
about the April Fool?

You mean there's another one?

Yes, Tigger. The one who
left you your surprise.

Oh? Tell me more.

Nobody makes a fool
of me but me.

Another glorious day

of weeds, watering,
and wheelbarrowing.

Just the sort of day

that makes your vegetables
stand up and...

Aah! Oh, my.
Oh, my goodness.

Oh, my goodness gracious.

I'm a genius.

A gardening giant.

You're a dream come true.

What? Wait. Stop.

What's going on here?

You bet I want to find
this April Fool guy.

Hoo hoo! I have a few
foolish questions

to pick with him.

I wonder if anyone else
has been tricked.

Help!

Help!

Don't just stand there.
Get me down from here.

Aah!

Thank you. Now would
someone mind telling me

what's going on around here?

What I can't understand is,

with all his delivering
of surprises,

why no one has ever seen
this April Fool fellow.

You're right, long ears.

The fool must be invisibibble.

But, Tigger, if the April Fool
is, um, invisibibble,

how shall we find him to ask
him if he's scary or not?

By being invisibibble ourselves.

Hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo!

Have we found
the April Fool yet?

The only fool around
here has stripes.

I can't believe Tigger
talked me into this.

Patience, bunny boy.

The only way to outfool a fool
is to fool him.

Oh, dear.

Eeyore.

Hawmp!

Shh!

He'll hear you.

And then we won't be able

to fool him anymore.

I guess I'd better
do what they say.

Wouldn't want to get
turned into a stump

like my friends.

We're not really stumps, Eeyore.

We just have to pretend to be

until we capture
the invisible April Fool.

Of course.
Just what I thought.

When I pretend to be a stump,

that's usually the reason.

Now we'll get him.

Even the most
invisibibble fool around

can't escape all those
Tigger-tested traps.

When he tries to play
a trick on our pretend Eeyore,

we'll grab him.

I don't see anything.

Of course not,
little Pigalet. Hoo hoo!

He's invisibibble.

Shh! Here he comes.

If you don't mind my saying so,

here he is.

- Run!
- Help!

Oh, dear!

Oof!

Hey, what's going on?

Look! It's
Christopher Robin.

Oh, run, Christopher Robin.

Yeah. Save yourself.

Save myself? From who?

There's no time.
You got to beat it, kid.

At least let me help you
get out of that cage first.

No, no.
Don't bother about us.

And you'd better
watch out for...

Whoa!

Never mind.

Now that we're all together,

will someone please tell me
who we're so scared of?

The April Fool, who else?

We're not sure if his tricks

are supposed to be
scary or nice.

Silly old bear. I was the one
doing the April fooling.

But the tricks weren't
meant to frighten you.

Honey for Pooh,

gentle pets for Piglet...

cuddly pajamas for Tigger,

and a balloon for Rabbit.

But you all played the best
trick of the day on me,

so you're the April Fool.

I never would have
guessed it was us.

Sure. Any fool
could have seen it.

And just in time for breakfast.

But, Pooh, it's almost sunset.

April fool.

I knew it was dinnertime
all along.
