so who knows a good scary campfire story

i have one a true story uh

really true

you'd have to ask the ones who never

made it out of the mount deer tick gold

mine the disaster happened in that mine

right over there

they say that in the days of old in the

1970s the miners would carry canaries to

make sure that the air in the shafts

wasn't

poisoned

great seven years at the wharton

business school and i'm sniffing for

poisonous gas mom would be so proud

anyway one fateful day there came a

terrible caving

somebody save us birds and so was born

the phrase that many of us know all too

well

no miners allowed unless accompanied by

an adult

wow some say that the ghosts of those

birds are still in the mine trapped

and at night they say you can still hear

the haunting song of the forgotten

doomed canaries

well all this storytelling has made me

sleepy

guess i'm gonna turn in good night story
