and it's all that.

He's gone full Vermin
for Scumbug.

It'd be romantic if
it wasn't so gross.

- He's supposed to be
talking about the big storm,

about what it was like down
here when the sewers flooded,

and he just squeaks.

No disrespect, but
what am I going to do?

[toilet flushes]
- You know, Dad talking Vermin

is the least
of your problems, okay?

- What are you talking about?
- Uh, it's boring, okay?

Vermin or not, Dad
can't tell a story.

Besides, that
storm was so dumb.

Nothing even happened.

- Well, the whole
city got flooded.

Everyone lost power. And...
- Whatever.

You got to give the people
what they want.

Add in a fight, uh, put
some monsters in there maybe,

uh, maybe a heist or something.

I don't know.
Have Donnie get eaten.

- Hey.
- None of that happened.

Get some CG going.

Make Dad sound like an action
hero, like Batman or something.

You want a good grade
on this thing, right?

Let me tell you a story.

[dramatic electronic music]

[mice squeaking]

[record scratches
device beeping]

- [deep voice] Do you remember
the storm of the century?

It was not long after
the Night of the Mechazoids,

but still so clear
in my memory.

- What do you mean
do we remember?

We were there.

- Oh, man, I thought we
were going to get food.

- Why are you talking
like this in general?

- Why do you have a phone book
on your lap?

- It is for dramatic effect.

April said I could
tell my story my way.

- I didn't mention props.

- Now, where was I?

And with it,
our greatest challenge yet.

This is a story about family
but also about home.

It is a story about the
dangers of irresponsibility

but also about
setting an example.

But it is also about...

- Okay, we get it.
Jeez.

- Are you having

Because we can totally do
something to help or something.

- I feel myself getting older.
- God, I'm so hungry.

- This is due tomorrow.
- [groans, claps hands]

Let me tell you a tale.

[upbeat rock music]

[stomach rumbles]

single thing in the fridge.

- [growls]

- Ray Fillet.

- Good morning.

It's another beautiful
day in our sewer home.

- [speaking Vermin]

- No, it's not!
This sucks!

We've been trapped down
here for three days

because of this stupid storm!

I mean, everything's soaked!

The power's going out!
They canceled school!

They canceled
wrestling practice!

The octagon where
I kickbox is flooded!

I haven't arm-barred
anyone in 72 hours!

Not to mention we're stuck
down here with the Mutanimals.

- Okay, Fillet.

- They are sheltering in place
with us during the storm.

It's quite nice
to have the company.

- Aah!

- Okay, but Pigeon Pete is
using my bed as a bathroom.

[pigeon cooing, splat]
- Pete, stop!

- Are you doing

a construction crew probably,

you know, shoring
up the river walls,

preventing more flooding.

It's a good thing real...

- [yelling]

- That doesn't even
make any sense.

- That's like if Baby Keem
mentored Kendrick,

which is ridiculous.

- I don't understand
any of those words,

but you grew up in a loving

They grew up with Superfly.

I'm stuck down here again.

- [speaking Vermin]

[distant jackhammer pounding]

- [squeaking]

To get the aggression out.

I mean, that's what the others
don't understand.

And a lot of times, my body is
just telling me to punch stuff.

- Ray Fillet.

whatever happened to your eye.

- [shouting in Vermin]

[loud thud]

[muffled shouting]

[dramatic music]

- Ray Fillet.

- [smooches]

- [retches]

- Guys, we have to stop this,
and I can't do it alone.

which would be bad,

- [speaking Vermin]
- Is that, like, really bad?

Sorry, I don't follow baseball.

- The entire city
would have flooded.

- Oh, yeah, that's bad.

And you'd think New York

would have a better
baseball team than that.

Hey, how did you even figure
out what they were telling you?

They didn't tell me anything.

It was the others.
They gave me this.

- Natural History Museum?
Wait, there's more?

What the heck is that?

- [babbling]

- What do you mean a giant
turtle messed everything up?

- I think
he just said "turtle."

a mutant turtle down here?

- Are you sure
he didn't say "turbulent,"

as in, "this is
a turbulent situation"?

- No, he definitely
said "turtle."

- No, maybe, maybe like,
"someone get me my turtleneck."

- We proceed with the plan.

Lee, tunnel your way
to the museum.

- [hisses]

- Sally, you take care
of the pump station.

- [growls]

And if the Turtles interfere,
deal with them.

- sh**t. He definitely
said "turtle" there.

- Nothing changes.
Do you hear me?

[both growl softly]

- [snarls]

all: One, two, and
East River Three.

- [sniffs]

[footsteps approaching]

[sniffing]

- I got a really bad feeling
about this.

We got to warn the others.

- What happened next
would leave all our fates

in Michelangelo's hands.
