01x11 - Where Strides the Behemoth

Post by bunniefuu »

This is the enemy arms centre
where c*ptive Bruce Banner

changed into the Incredible Hulk

and smashed his way to freedom.

Now reserve forces have arrived
to destroy the rampaging goliath.

Alone, the mighty Hulk faces enough
fire power to destroy 1,000 men.

Tanks come to k*ll Hulk.
But Hulk's stronger.

He's approaching
at point-blank range. Fire.

We didn't even slow him down.

Tin bugs.
They try to k*ll Hulk.

Re-aim. Lower your sights.

With a mind-staggering display
of raw strength,

the Hulk rips the entire g*n turret
from the mighty tank.

Run, while Hulk destroys tank.

g*ns.
They try to k*ll Hulk with g*ns.

Must not get second chance.

Must stop them.

All tanks ride on road.

Easy target for Hulk.

He's tearing up the road.

Now Hulk's turn to attack.

Elevate the g*n. Faster.

Men all run.
Afraid of Hulk.

Hulk smash all tanks.

Out. Run!

He tears tanks apart with bare hands.

While some tank crews panic,
others are manoeuvring.

The Hulk turns and sees...

All around me.
No place to run.

Ready. All g*ns together.

The green-skinned Goliath
has one remaining resource,

his mammoth hands.

The ear-splitting concussion has the
force of a near-nuclear expl*si*n.

In panic,
the battered enemy troops flee,

leaving the Hulk
master of all he surveys.

Run. Fight over.

Hulk has won.

Then the brutish brain
struggles to recall.

Where is home?

Hulk lost.

Must find way home.

And moments later,

the mightiest leg muscles of all time
propel the tormented creature

in incredible
distance-swallowing leaps

over hills, mountains,
for hours on end,

until finally,
his smouldering rage nearly spent,

the Hulk reaches
the towering Himalayas.

On a lonely, isolated peak,
he comes to a halt.

He settles to rest.

Hulk lost.

The green head lowers,
the violent heartbeat slows

and, finally,
in the quiet shadows of slumber,

the incredible phenomenon
begins again

and it is Bruce Banner
who is awakened hours later

by the click of a r*fle bolt.

- Hands aloft, sleeper.
- Who are you?

He speaks like an American.

Yes, but not a rich American.

He is so poor,
he will welcome a b*llet.

Wait. I can get money for you.
Just take me to the nearest Americans.

Call General Ross. It's a call
from one of our Asian ambassadors.

About Dr Banner, sir, on the scope.

What the...?
How in blazes...? What next?

Contact Mayor Talbot's plane.
Get him back for new orders.

Banner, in the Himalayas?

He's being held for ransom by
some bandit chief named Kanga Khan.

Your instructions, with an authorisation
for ransom money.

We ought to pay them to keep him.

We want him back, Major Talbot,
to stand trial if he deserted

or to return to his work
if he didn't.

I'll bring him back, sir.

Meanwhile, for Dr Banner...

Anything would be better
than this endless waiting.

In a nearby mountain city...

The money will be forwarded
when I'm sure you have Banner.

We have him, alright.

And you, impatient one,
had better have the ransom with you.

Where is Banner?

Other greedy eyes are watching
everything that transpires.

Just as we thought.

The prisoner means much ransom
to our enemy, Kanga Khan.

But we shall collect it.

- Major Talbot.
- Banner.

And now the...

There's Haku and Ganto
and the accursed raiders!

Hand over the ransom, Kanga.

Stop, fools. I do not even have it yet.

Major, come on.
It's our chance.

Don't worry.
I'm not losing you again.

- Where's your plane?
- Down that cliff trail.

Look out.
The ledge, it's breaking away.

Oh, no.

Down Bruce Banner plunges.

How could any man survive the fate
waiting thousands of feet below?
