Dr. Hans Zarkov and Dale Ardenhave joined me, Flash Gordon,

on a fantastic journey
into worlds where

peril and adventure await us.

[roar]

[growl]

[explosions]

NARRATOR: Leaving the
cavern worlds of Aura,

the witch queen, Flash
and his companions

are captured by
Ming the Merciless.

Using Zarkov's inviso-ray,Flash leads an escape only

to face new dangers from theincredible creature known

as the Drok and the treacherousinferno of the Cavern of Fire.

But freedom is short-lived asFlash, Dale, and Zarkov find

themselves in the tyrannicalgrip of Mongo's evil emperor,

and Flash is about to face thegreatest challenge of his life

in Ming's Torunament of Death.

[growls]

And now, Chapter Thirteen.

Castaways in Tropica.

[wind howling]

[trumpets sounding]

will be declared Winner ofthe Tournament of Death.

part of a secret exit

from Braznor's fortress.

DESIRA: The castle
is an ancient one.

It is honeycombed with abandonedpassages from earlier rulers.

Normally these things
don't have the power

to go through solid rock.

I think I can short
circuit it so it will

overheat and become a b*mb.

I think the

the laws of physics.
